Nick and his team did a grate job on our windows and patio doors! They were promt and courtious. Easy to talk to and a very pleasant experience. Their price was decent, too, compared to others. We recommend Desert King Windows to all our frends.

Desert King Windows is a company that gave me a quote with no specific deadline for finishing the job. But when I called to place my order, they didn't stick to their quote and sneaked in a 50% price hike without giving me any prior notice. They didn't even bother to inform me about the increased cost; instead, they sent me a new contract to sign, where they buried the higher price.

Desert King Windows is a complete joke of a business. The owner doesn't seem to give a damn about properly installing their products or sticking to the agreed-upon timeline in the contract. We placed our order back in September, and guess what? Our last window hasn't even been scheduled for installation yet. It's like they don't even care about us as customers. And to top it all off, the owner has the audacity to use the pandemic as an excuse to be downright rude and disrespectful. It's just not right.

Our installer showed up on time and was very personable and professional. In less than 4 hours, he expertly installed the patio door and trim. He meticulously checked the proper operation of the door and lock and left the entire work area clean. He's a great guy, and his work is awesome. My new patio doors work and look great. Big thumbs up, he gets a ten in my book. Thank you!

I had 8 windows and 1 patio door installed today. *** and *** did a great job. They protected my home by covering stuff with plastic, cleaned up well afterwards. They worked hard all day and were always ready to answer questions as the day went on. I started the whole process in mid January and 2 months later my windows are in. I couldn't be happier and also avoided the hot weather. I really recommend Desert King.

I wouldn't recommend Desert King Windows! It's been 5 days and they still haven't installed a single window or caulked anything. The windows I ordered are not the ones they actually brought. The sliding glass door won't lock properly. One window is clearly the wrong size, and they attempted to fill the gaps with spray foam, but there are still noticeable finger-sized holes. I've called them 5 times already, but there's been no response. They promised someone would come this morning, but nobody showed up. I'm really unhappy with their service.

Desert King recently put in 27 fresh windows and 2 doors in our crib. The crew was all pro, from the sales pitch to the estimates, installation, and follow-up. They did the job on schedule and without breaking the bank. We're stoked about the top-notch quality of our windows and doors. The outside noise is practically gone, thanks to these windows with UV properties that have cooled down even the hottest rooms in our pad. Plus, the slider windows are a game-changer, giving us killer views and smooth operation. Seriously, don't even think about hiring another window company until you've chatted with Desert King.

I live in *** and had Desert King Windows install 10 windows. I chose Desert King because of their price, a local company at the time and a great lifetime warranty. Five months ago I reached out to them for warranty work. I was told that they would covered the warranty. However they had relocated to ***. About a month later a representative arrived and measured for the replacement window. Well, after 5 months I am still waiting for my window. After numerous phone calls I have been told that they no longer carry that brand. But they would reach out to the original manufacture and have a window made. Still no window. I tried to reach out to the owner/manager to offer several solution to this this problem. I believe a good business man could solve this. Very disappointed.

Hey there! Just wanted to give you a heads up that my Mom, XXXXX, finally got her windows and doors installed by Desert King Windows. Gotta say, the two dudes, *** and Caesar, who came over to do the job were some of the most professional workers I've ever dealt with. They were super respectful and polite to both my Mom and me throughout the whole process. Whenever we had questions, they answered them with crazy detail and made sure we felt comfortable with their responses. They went above and beyond any expectations I've had with workers before.

Since I work for XXXXXXXX, I know a thing or two about customer service, and let me tell you, your employees' experience was top-notch. The job was done really well, and I'll definitely be recommending Desert King Windows to anyone who needs this kind of work. So, big thanks to you and your workers for doing such an awesome job!

I ordered my windows in November . They said it would take 6 to 8 weeks for installation. Months went by, and my windows weren't ready. Then, when I called for an update, they told me that one window wasn't made right. I asked them to wait until all the windows were ready before coming. Then, in April , they called to install my windows. They came, and that's when I found out they didn't get a replacement for the faulty window. They installed the bad window and frame and said they had to wait for the replacement. I got a notice saying the window would be ready in mid-May. It's now mid-June, and the replacement still isn't here. Also, their contract says I have to pay based on the number of windows installed - around $1,800 per window. They made me pay everything except $500, saying technically the window was installed and only the pane needs replacing. I wish I had stood my ground and refused to pay $1,800 because now they keep giving me excuses. Every time I call, they take my name and number but never call back. I would never recommend this company. In fact, when my boss asked me about them, I told her not to go with them. I'm still waiting for them to come and install a screen door because it arrived without a track. How long does it take to get a screen door track? It's been two months, so I guess it's been over two months and at least three phone calls.

I signed a contract on August 9th to get 9 windows, 2 sliding glass doors, and 1 front entry door installed. We agreed verbally that it would take *** weeks. But it's been 25 weeks now, and the company doesn't know when they can finish the job.

I got windows from Desert King Windows in August, 2022. They were finally put in during January, 2022, 'cept for the screens. Since January, 2022, they've put in all the screens 'cept for one. I wrote 'em a letter on September 26, 2022, askin' 'em to finish the project. It still ain't done as of January 9, 2023. I'm sendin' 'nother letter today (1/9/23), askin' 'em to finish the job right away. I've attached these letters.

I've been calling Desert King Windows several times to have the caulking replaced around the windows they sold me. The caulking is falling apart, which puts my home at risk of water damage. It's frustrating that Desert King hasn't even bothered to call me back to schedule the warranty work. I can't believe they won't even make time for me. I've called them multiple times in the past month, and I really need someone to come and replace the crumbled caulk before it causes any water damage. I just want to get my warranty work done.

I got a whole bunch of new windows for my house from Desert King Windows. It cost me $14,009.00, and I paid the full amount. I had some medical issues and needed special protection because I have COPD and cancer. They promised to use protective coverings, but they didn't use any. I'm worried about the heat that's coming in a few weeks. They said it would take 6-8 weeks, but it actually took 12 weeks, which is longer than what the salesman said. The installation manager told me it would take that long. Now I have damage to my window sills, leaks, and they didn't use any protection. The salesman gave me misleading information. He said there would be a crew of 5, but there were only 2 workers. They said it would take 2 days to finish the job, but it actually took 4 and a half days. They won't return my calls about fixing the repairs. The caulking is shrinking, the filler is crumbling, and there's water leaking from the rain. The window sills are all messed up because they didn't use any protection when they used the pry bar. I want a refund so I can hire someone else to fix the damage. We're in our mid-70s and there's not enough space to list all the problems they caused. They tore out the windows and now we have a bug problem. They didn't cover it and there were strong winds because the freeway is right behind us.

We bought and got 30 new windows from Desert King Windows in June . In February , we had a big rain storm and 2 of our bigger slider Windows started leaking water inside the tracks. I called Desert King and they sent different service techs who said it's normal for water to leak inside the track and it will run out, but it doesn't. The water just stays there. I asked why the other 28 windows didn't have any water coming in. These windows must be faulty or the installation was done wrong and they're not straight. My contractor friends told me that's the problem. Having water inside your house can lead to mold. I'm not getting anywhere with the company's management. I understand Covid has affected businesses, but they still need to fix their installation mistakes. It's part of their warranty for sales and installation. Thanks.

We paid Desert King Windows $15,200.00 and so far we've only had one service request. We made the request on Dec. 10th, 2022. Shortly after that, Desert King Windows measured the upstairs bathroom window for replacement. They told us via text that the window had arrived. The text was sent on Jan. 19th @ 10:56 a.m. It said, "Window has arrived @ our facility & has passed inspection!" (Attached) We were scheduled for the replacement window on Feb. 1st between *** a.m. On the morning of Feb. 1st, we got a text @ 9:23 a.m. saying that the window was flawed. (Attached) We were confused because if it had passed inspection, how could they tell us 1 hour & 23 minutes into our window for installation that the window was flawed. On the morning of the service call, I removed a piece of OSB to protect the damaged window. The text also said that a new window was on *** and would take an additional 4 weeks. I contacted Desert King and spoke to *** that morning and the temporary solution was to install the "flawed" window until the reorder arrived. They also said they would waive the service fee of $150.00 because of the inconvenience caused. *** is the only person at this business who has shown any professionalism. I called again on March 20th and was promised a call back that day or the next day. I was ignored. I called again on Wednesday, March 22nd to express my complaints and was told that the matter was closed. How can it be closed if the flawed window hasn't been replaced yet? They were supposed to look into the matter and call me back on March 23rd. Once again, they ignored us. I called on Friday, March 24th, and received no assistance. It's clear that they are trying to avoid me and not honor their warranty.

In February 2022, I placed an order for a replacement screen from Desert King Windows (DKW). I paid extra for a warranty that covers the replacement. Here's the latest email exchange between DKW and myself:

"What I don't understand is why it takes 9 months to build and install a screen door. I have an email from your company dated 3/22/2022 saying: 'Dear ***, We have received an update from the manufacturer regarding your order! Your order is estimated to arrive on 5/26/2022. This ETA is subject to change and we do not have any control over that. If that happens, you will be notified. Once your order arrives, it goes through an inspection period where we will inspect it for accuracy, damages and quality and will reach out to you to schedule your installation. There is no need to contact us regarding installation dates. We will reach out to you when your products are ready. In the meantime, if you have any questions, feel free to reply to the email and we will be happy to assist. Thank you, Desert King Windows.'"

"If your company is picking up the door, then why would there be an ETA update from Window World?"

Then, on 6/24/2024, I received another email that said: "Hello, Your screen door is on order, however, since Windowmart chose not to do any business with anyone in *** anymore, they only ship *** service items once or twice a year. Which is very frustrating for many people. I have my service *** checking to see when we might expect another delivery from them."

"So you stated you've been waiting for two weeks for a manifest, well, I've been waiting 9 months since your tech was out here (replacing a broken window that I had to wait over 6 months to get replaced) when he placed the order for the screen door. None of any of these excuses make any sense!"

So, as of 9/7/2022, I still don't have my screen door.
