I picked up my Boerboel from Danny on 10/17 - flew all the way from Vegas to get her! She really is a quality puppy. Temperament so far is great, smart, extremely trainable and growing beautifully. I love that she was already chipped and ready to go! This girl goes everywhere with us and people are in awe of her and compliment on how beautiful she is. Danny was very easy to work with, welcomed me into his home and showed me his studs, welping area and pups. Can't wait to welcome our next D & K pup!

We recently picked up our puppy, and we are in awe at the beauty of her! After comparing other boerboel breeders out there, we knew D&K Boerboels would produce the type of boerboel we desired. They did not disappoint and exceeded our expectations 100%! Our puppy is simply breathtaking, and our whole family is in love! D&K Boerboel was very professional and always returned our calls promptly. He let us know how to care for her and how to keep her at her best health. Would definitely do business with them again!

We got exactly what we were promised! We had updates and even FaceTimed with our new family member, Missy. We watched as she grew and Danny kept us in the loop at all times. He helped us make sure we choose the right pup and the whole process was easy. He ensured the pup was flown safely- even had a member of his team fly with her! When I opened her paperwork envelope, I was surprised by a pink bone that was sent with her- great merch! I will always recommend D&K for anyone looking for a pup baby of this breed! Hands down great customer service and care!

I chose D and K Boerboels because his website is very well put together and the info and pictures peeked my interest. I emailed Danny and 20 mins later he responded and we've been in contact ever since. Whether it's a call, text or email, he always got back to me in a timely fashion. He even allowed me to pick my puppy up at 9 weeks instead of the usual 8 weeks and that was greatly appreciated. My puppy was everything and more than advertised. Driving 20 hours back to MA was worth it! I can't wait to get another Boerboel puppy in the near future. Thank you again Danny!

We purchased our puppy 2 months ago and we are very satisfied with the puppy. He is so attentive and wants to please. We get compliments on the puppy every where we go. Everyone compliments us on his stature, his coat and his confidence. D & K Boerboels has helped us though out the process of introducing the puppy to our children and other dogs. They have given us a large amount of information on how to care for the puppy as well as our other dogs. D & K Boerboels has kept in contact with us to make sure that we are satisfied and that the puppy is a good fit for our family which is very important !

Started looking into this breed for a long time until I ran across D&K, talked to the owner on the phone told him what I was looking for an she did not disappoint. D&K was very easy to work with. I got to pick my dog out from the litter the moment he was born. The owner sent me a bunch of updates along with videos and pictures. I am from my location, so they made the drive all the way out to me which was also a HUGE plus. I am so happy with our boy. Beautiful dog, very protective of his family but also such a big loving baby. We couldn't be any happier with the service and with our Boerboel.

We purchased our puppy from D & K boerboels and are beyond pleased with our new family member. The quality of the puppy we now have is remarkable and was everything that we were looking for the color, stature and personality. We did a lot of research prior to making this purchase and D & K Boerboels provided quality customer service, answered all of our questions, and made sure we were happy with the dog we chose. More impressive was there was no push for us to make the purchase and his response to questions we had. I highly recommend D & K boerboels for quality dogs that are well worth it.

Danny and D & K Boerboels have been a breeze to work with. I've been talking and learning from Danny for a couple years. Never had a single problem. I recently got my puppy from D & K and he is awesome. Healthy and strong with great temperament. I already knew that would be the case based on the Boerboels that he has. They are all amazing. I recommend anyone interested in the breed to reach out to Danny and he will provide you with the best Boerboel pups you can find. I'll definitely be back for another in the future. The experience with DK Boerboels is beyond reproach. I called the owner on several occasions, often beyond regular business hours, and he presently answered every inquiry. When I finally met the owner, I was thoroughly impressed not only with his professionalism, but also he was very accommodating. I called hours before to change my pick-up date, and without fail, once again, he made it happen. The puppy I received exceeded my expectations, and I'm pleased that I came in person. He gave me a tour of his operation and explained how he cares for the animals he breeds. I want to thank DK Boerboels for adding to my family and grateful for the relationship that has fostered. I would recommend anyone looking for a Boerboel to look no further than DK Boerboels.

I recently purchased a beautiful female puppy from D&K Boerboels. I chose D&K because he is a licensed kennel (which are not outdoor facilities exposed to the elements), he is knowledgeable about the breed and straightforward about his program, he has a great rating on ComplaintsBoard.com, and his dogs represent the best traits of the breed; but most of all I when I discussed my wants and needs, he made that his priority and identified a future litter. I also preferred Dannys puppy contract versus others that I had reviewed because it was simple and straightforward. Danny is also great about communication whether just making time to take a call with his busy schedule or responding to the simplest of questions. Thank you Danny/D&K (with a shout out of thanks to Cedar Spring Boerboels as well)!

Bought a beautiful boerboel from d and k but he has had some allergy problems and has blood blisters between his toes and legions under his paws that are painful as well as now he is getting horrible calluses on the back of his elbows. Called Danny several times for advice and help but once you buy a dog from him he does not want to be bothered. Looking at pictures of boerboels iv noticed that some of them have the calluses like my dog.i don't have any complaints about the quality of dog I bought but wish I bought a boerboel from someone else who would have time to help with problems after the sale. Iv spent thousands on vets,dermatologist and medicine and special food for him but nothing helps. Totally disappointed in the lack of help I got from this guy after reaching out several times

I've had English Mastiffs until this point. I flew in from Los Angeles and Danny graciously picked me up from the airport. I went to his house to pick up my pup Sergeant. I was not prepared when he showed me his adult dogs! HUGE! MAJESTIC! INCREDIBLE! Then I met Sergeant and its game over! Love this guy! Danny's dogs are big boned, muscular and better than any other breeder I researched. Danny is a true professional! I can't say enough about my experience with D & K. I'm a Deputy Sheriff in Los Angeles and come into contact with alot of people on a daily basis. I consider myself a good judge of character. Danny is an honest, upstanding individual who is an expert in this breed. An all round good guy. Really refreshing, especially these days. Thanks Danny, we will be back for our huge female. Started looking around online pages 6 months ago to get a pup so my parents 10 years old fawn could have a friend in her later years but sadly we lost her 3 months into search which started my deep dive into kennels and D&K always seemed to be tagged in a pic or was followed by all the pages i ended up on so I decided to go with them. Contacted them 3-20-22 and had a contract signed and made my deposit 3-21-22! Quick responses, Very Professional and extremely helpful from the very 1st time we talked. Drove 4 hours from [location] down to pick up my pup [puppy's name] and got to met some of the big dogs from the [kennel's] page and they were all beautiful and healthy looking which also let me know i made the right choice of kennel. Took her to vet for a check up after her 1st road trip and she checked out A1 which was no surprise. Will be returning for another pup soon Thanks!

I have been an advocate owner and supporter and lover of big dogs all of my life. 17 years ago my favorite Dog died suddenly from frog poisoning; I haven't had a dog since. After hearing about the South African Boerboel in 2017, I got my mojo back; I have searched at least 10-15 breeders worldwide. When I found D&K Boerboels and met owner, Danny Smith, I knew that I had struck gold. D&K is an exceptional, well informed, compassionate and integral breeder of the South African Boerboel. I just received my Puppy last night delivered to me at my front door, all of the way from Missouri to Miami Florida. First Class all of the way; paperwork, medical records, pedigree form, micro chip number, food and food information; you name it I got it: plus the D&K dog bone pillow. I have never been as pleased with a puppy, breeder and owner, as I am with D&K Boerboel. I will be telling everyone I know as well buying more puppies in the future. Thank You Danny, You're The Man!

After doing over a year of research on the Boerboel breed, I began to search for a breeder who could provide me an all black male puppy. After contacting several breeders via email and/or phone, the results were less than desirable, and some didn't reply at all. That was before I spoke to Danny from D & K Boerboels. I contacted D & K Boerboels in July/2020 after reading several positive reviews and looking at their website which boasts that they always have black puppies. After speaking with Danny I could tell that the betterment of the breed is his first priority, and not making money. I told Danny what I wanted and he explained that he currently had a litter with black male pups, but also explained that he would be soon receiving a black male import from South Africa. After sending me photos and videos of the import, I decided this was the right puppy and breeder for me. During the waiting period, Danny stayed in constant contact with me regarding my pup and also sent me videos and pictures. On 11/04, I met Danny at O'Hare Airport in Chicago to pick up my pup. He is simply beautiful with a very balanced temperament. I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase and HIGHLY RECOMMEND D & K Boerboels!

Man where do I start. Lets start from the beginning in December I decided to get a South African Boerboel. Now comes the hard part finding a breeder, when i typed in boerboel D&K Boerboels popped up first, now I know from all the pictures and videos that i have watched that i wanted an all black one but it was gonna be hard to find. I called all of the places that i saw on the internet but got back all generic email except from D&K Boerboels the actual owner (Danny) called me back, even though he was busy he stayed on the phone and answered every question i had and believe me I alot of questions. The very next day i called back and left my deposit on Krumpus (sire) and Pristine (dam) and that was on 01/22. Danny informed me that he knows how bad I wanted a black male and he assured me that he was gonna take care of me but patience is a virtue and you cant rush this. Now unfortunately the dam had a false pregnancy but danny assured me that he would take care of me just be patient. On 10/15 I PICKED UP MY ALL BLACK MALE . This was the best experience I've ever had in dealing with A breeder D&K Boerboel hands down is the best I picked up Optimus and yes it was a (12hr drive one way but would do it again in a heartbeat) he was microchipped with my name and number on him. Danny invited me inside showed me all of his gorgeous animals, now my son is 4 years old he played with Debo a 190 yes 190 pound boerboel my god it was an amazing experience. My son and daughter was even able to walk one of his females. The temperament on these amazing animals is great, Danny showed us all the puppy's that he had , everything was clean everyone was super friendly he gave me Extra vitamins , man i could go on and on about D&K Boerboel, we will be back for another one. Look let me tell you if you are looking for a South African Boerboel you need to call D&K Boerboel, 5 stars are not enough i wish i could put up a million. And im gonna leave on this note no matter what time of the night how early in the day Danny will answer or give you a call back I promise you... and if you want videos he will send them and these beautiful animals are worth the wait. Once again Danny D&K Boerboel thank you for the added addition to our family we appreciate all of your time.
