Cory Mac a'Ghobhainn review: progress for science fraud, cyberstalking

We are four individuals who regularly work with the Save Movement, Anonymous for the Voiceless and Vegan Outreach in Los Angeles and New York. We qualify this because the immediate response to this statement from Cory Mac a'Ghobhainn and her minions will be to post multiple accusations that this is being posted by a person who she has systematically set out to destroy over the past 5 years. That person has nothing to do with this. We are here to speak out on behalf of a teenage girl whose life has been destroyed by Cory Mac a'Ghobhain and others in her circle with no signs of slowing down. The organization we work for are not posting this notice. It is only us as individuals.

We and hundreds of other members of the animal rights community all over the world have watched Cory Mac a'Ghobhainn and her side-kick Genelle Butler - the mother of Genesis Butler of A Vegan Child's Journey going after a child in the Los Angeles AR movement since 2014 and we have had enough, following a recent cyber attack carried out by Genelle, Cory Mac a'Ghobhainn the leader of Progress for Science and Amy Jean Davis, a former leader in the Save Movement. This attack was launched August 7, 2019 by Genelle and Cory on the Progress for Science Facebook page and carried further by Amy. This teen had the audacity to win a national award for her activism and Cory Mac a'Ghobhainn and Genelle were quick to respond, enlisting Amy as well to splash a slander campaign about the teen and her mother all over facebook. When the teen tried to respond to the attack on social media they blocked and silenced her even though the attack was couched as "a post of concern" for the girl's safety. Several other activists jumped in who personally know the teen in question (which Genelle Butler nor these other two do at all) and they were also blocked from speaking. This was and is a calculated attack on this girl with the intent to cause her lasting trauma and to derail her life. This is the final straw in a long line of public and private attacks on this child so that Genesis Butler - the child of Genelle Butler can be some kind of singular star for her mother's aggrandizement. We have had enough of this and of the community who sit by and allow this to happen and take part in this character assassination year after year. Enough is enough. If you are standing by watching this and doing nothing you are Genelle's accomplice and should be ashamed of yourselves.

This is what Progress for Science and Cory Mac a'Ghobhainn are supporting, promulgating and promoting against a teenage girl in AR. Cory has never exchanged one word with this teen nor does she know anything about her life:

Genelle Butler - who started this campaign and who is supported and driven by Cory Mac a'Ghobhainn, is a mentally obsessed, violent person who needs mental health treatment. That fact aside, her acts against this teen are evil, violent and abusive. We sent notice to the parties involved over a month ago to stop this and to remove the attack post and were met with arrogant retorts that assert their "rights" to continue destroying this child who is now near adulthood and who needs them to leave her alone once and for all.

Genelle uses many aliases on facebook: Anne Summers was used from 2015-2016, Melissa Myers is in use now since 2017, and there was a third one she had only created in August to piggy back on the attack post that the teen "had been killed" by her mother. We have not seen that profile in action in the past month but we expect to see it re-emerge, with Genelle it always does. Cory Mac a'Ghobhainn allows her "organization" to be used by Genelle's fake profiles to keep this cyberstalking going.

In 2014 Genelle was constructing a platform for her young daughter Genesis to be a star. She did this by setting Genesis up as a speaker and personality at vegan events. The teen who Genelle is still trying to destroy was only 12 at that time. Genesis and the teen had seen each other at protests at Sea World but did not interact or know each other. Genelle did not know the teen either.
The rift began in 2015 when Genelle compelled the organizers of NARD to ban the 12 year old (who is now 17) from attending NARD as Genesis had her own "private film crew" and Genelle didn't want the 12 year old she has been bullying to be seen.

This is what kicked off the campaign to destroy the teen and her mother - and the non-profit the teen had founded a year prior.

Any time the teen was seen on social media with friends, Genelle immediately called those people and told them that the teen's mother was "bullying" her and she was "terrified" and her child was terrified. There was no proof and has never been any proof of this, no incidents, no messages, just this claim that she was "afraid". This continued until Genelle had convinced every friend that this young girl had not to talk to her anymore. This is the prime example of full on bullying. The trauma caused to the 12 and 13 year old at the start of this bullying campaign can't be described. She was devastated. Meanwhile Genelle plied Mercy for Animals and Moby and a number of other high profile outfits for maximum attention for Genesis while slandering the teen and her mother at every chance. She also enlisted the assistance of an activist in San Diego named Ellen Ericksen who has been an integral part of the attack on the teen for years. We sat by and watched this go on for years. We kept saying "she will lose interest and move on" to try and help this teen move past the abuse, but Genelle will never move on or stop attacking this girl. We know that now.

Shortly after the bullying campaign began (2015) the teen was reporting for a vegan newsperson in California. At an anti-fur demonstration in Costa Mesa Genelle showed up with Genesis and was outraged that the teen was there doing a report. Genelle verbally assaulted and attacked the teen and her mother and demanded they leave immediately or she would "kick their [censored]". The teen was forced to leave and police reports for terrorist threats regarding Genelle Butler were filed at the Costa Mesa Police Department the same day. After this Genelle and Ellen Ericksen went to the reporter and demanded that the teen be fired from reporting. They prevailed and got their way - further devastating the child.

Genelle then started two fake facebook profiles, Melissa Myers and Anne Summers - the Anne Summers account was traced back to the IP at the home of Genelle in Long Beach by police. Anne Summers went and befriended every single person the teen was friends with on facebook. Then she went to work posting vile, disgusting lies about the teen to everyone who was connected with her on facebook.

She posted that the teen (then 13) was put in child porn by her mother and was a prostitute. The posts in this manner went on for months. Finally the family took all the material to LAPD and opened a criminal complaint for cyberstalking on Genelle Butler. The LAPD opened an investigation, traced the IP to Genelle and warned her to stop even though the family urged prosecution. Being that Genelle is obsessed to the point of mental illness she did not stop.

In 2016 the teen was awarded a national prize for her animal rights activism. Genelle Butler and Ellen Ericksen went after the head of the organization who had awarded the child and demanded that he strip her award and give it to Genesis. This harassment went on for a period of weeks until they relented. The teen was traumatized and terrorized by this campaign, called a fraud and a liar when there was material proof of everything she had done. The organizer ultimately refused to strip the award. Genelle was furious and redoubled her efforts to destroy the child.

The child's mother had started the pig save movement in Los Angeles in 2016. Being that the teen was an activist she attended vigils and played guitar there. Genelle Butler and Amy Jean Davis - who was actively trying to take over the vigils as leader - called in false child abuse complaints against the mother of this teen to drive her off. They claimed the mother "forced" the teen to go to vigils against her will and that teen was "psychologically abused" in this way. They also made things up out of thin air like the mother tried to dorwn the teen and beat the teen and more. They never talked with the teen. Ever. They never visited the teen's home or knew nay of her friend. They made these things up out of malice. Neither one ever saw the teen or knew the teen in any way, this was entirely fabricated. Papers that have come out due to litigation show the written complaints with Genelle Butler and Amy's names on them, this is all documented fact in the courts now. They drove the teen off of vigils with these false complaints. As soon as the teen was gone they brought Genesis down to have photo opps with the tortured pigs and celebrities at the slaughterhouse.

Due to the hell brought down on the teen's family by Genelle's false child abuse complaints, the family left the country. Before they left the teen endured savage abuse in detention due to Genelle's manipulation of the county officials with her lies.

The teen was gone 18 months. Genelle had free reign to exploit Genesis to the maximum degree with this child out of the region. But it wasn't enough. She continued to stalk the child.

The teen was featured in an article on social media in July 2019. Genelle got straight to work as Melissa Myers posting on the article that the teen was missing and her mother probably killed her. Melissa Myers posted this on 20 different vegan social media sites and tagged hundreds of people.

Then the teen won a national award for her successful campaign with her non-profit and a group of fellow vegan teens she had worked with in July 2019. As soon as that award hit the news, this latest cyber hit driven by Genelle Butler, Cory Mac a'Ghobhainn and Amy Jean Davis - none of whom have ever exchanged one single word with this child her entire life, all of whom have driven a hate campaign against her for five years - hit the Progress for Science facebook page.

Cory Mac a'Ghobhainn made sure to tag at least 500 people. Amy Jean Davis shared and tagged another 900 people. When defenders of the teen who speak with her regularly and know her personally very well came in to defend her they were blocked and silenced. They were accused (ALL OF THEM) of being the mother despite all of them being somewhat well known in AR. When the teen herself came in to state that their posts was a fraud and an attack she was blocked and silenced.

Cory Mac a'Ghobhainn refuses all facts from all parties that defend this teen as she is hell bent on this cyberstalking campaign that is in full force through her organization Progress for Science.

This was a mortal character hit designed by Genelle Butler and carried out by a group of toxic, evil women with Cory Mac a'Ghobhainn at the helm, who have no business being in the AR community. Those who support these hits and continue to drive them are guilty of the criminal offense of cyberstalking.

We will no longer stand by in silence and accept this abuse of this person who has done nothing to deserve this violence.

The statements on the social media posts written by Cory Mac a'Ghobhainn on the Progress for Science page are patently false, slander, and directly intended to destroy the life of a 17 year old activist for their personal gain and satisfaction.

We will no longer remain silent.
