Zookt informed me via popup message about the iPad that I won in their draw. In order to receive my prize I was supposed to use my credit card to pay for shipping. I quickly googled the company and discovered that there are loads of complaints about them. It looks like they are stealing credit cards by making people believe that they are one step before some large winnings, don’t trust them
THEY ALSO OPERATE UNDER ANOTHER WEBSITE CALLED www.improveyourimage.org WHERE THEY RUN THE SAME EXTORTION SCAM. HERE IS ANOTHER COMPLAINT SHOWING THE SAME EXTORTION EMAIL AS WE DID AT ZOOKT.
THE COMMENT IS FALSE AND IS AN ATTEMPT AT EXTORTION OF MONEY FROM ZOOKT. ZOOKT RECEIVED AN EXTORTION EMAIL FROM A FAKE PERSON CALLED ALLYSON LEGENDREGY WHICH USED A COMPUTER WITH AN IP ADDRESS FROM ROMANIA. THEY ARE ASKING ZOOKT TO PAY $149/MONTH TO GET THIS FALSE COMPLAINT REMOVED. THE COMPLAINT WAS POSTED A FEW HOURS BEFORE WE RECEIVED THE EXTORTION EMAIL FROM THE SCAMMER IN ROMANIA. THE COMPLAINT IS BASELESS AS ZOOKT DOES NOT HAVE AN IPAD AIR POPUP REQUESTING A CREDIT CARD FOR SHIPPING. ACTUALLY, ZOOKT DOES NOT CHARGE SHIPPING AT ALL. BELOW IS THE EXTORTION EMAIL WE RECEIVED FROM THE FAKE PERSON CALLED ALLYSON LEGENDREGY AS A PROOF.
