I signed my contract in June and paid 27, 900 and very little is being done towards completion. It is now the end of Feb 2010 and it is still not finished. My pool has not been completed to date and I keep getting excuses about why it not complete from the Waterworkz. I was so displease I got a laywer and then they gave me a letter stating my pool would be finished by September 19, 2009. Well its October 10 and very little has been done towards completion. I have visited twice in September and they just told me what I wanted to hear to get me out of there. Rick an employee visited my house and gave me samples to pick out again for the pool decking and coping and said he would be back the next day to pick them up. He never came back nor did he answer any phone calls from me. Not to mention this was about the third time we have picked the same stuff over and over. It seems like a cover up to buy more time by telling me we have to order materials. This is almost a half year later and I am getting the same stories. I filed a complaint with the BBB in September but little has happened since then. I have been told by Dan Honig the ownwer that they took on morer than they could handle. Is this fair that my family has to suffer the emotional stress and abuse after they have taken our money. All I have ask is for them to honor what they said and what we have paid for. What happen to the other complaint I filed ? Did anyone say it was resolved because it was not and the work still has not been completed. I have tried to trust them several times but the lies never stop coming. I would gladly have someone else finish my pool if they would refund my money. I have not been able to use my back yard since June because it has been torn up with all the constuction that has not been completed. All I have ask from the begining is for them to complete the pool. I have been seen by so many of there employees until I am begining to think that no one stays employed with that company long. Please do not deal with any of these companies or personel because they are all rip-offs and scam artist They are all owned by Dan Honig and he hides behind them all. He is a Criminal.

1. Waterworkz Pools

2. Design Workz

3. Metal Workz

4. Honig Ventures

5. Stealth Trucking

a. Daniel E. Honig

b. Rick Salinas

c. Bob Salinas

All three listed above are full of lies and deceit and will rob you blind. They are smooth talkers and fast walkers with your money and will not complete anything.

New Daniel E Honig's business are Austex Pools, Austex Constructions. As of today he also owes 6000 dls in Child Support on one of his kids and in Court for the other, also has never paid a cent on child support for his daughter. His father's American express was cancelled for non payment when it was only used for Daniel Honig’s “businesses”. I am very sick to see how he gets away by filing bankruptcy in business and open new ones to do the same thing.

For starters i want to say shame on you guys for saying or evening implying that metal workz is related to any of Dan honigs companies, Metal workz is owned by one man and always has been the best in the construction business, shame on you guys for dragging metal workz in with water workz, second, Pool builders use subcontracters and if the owners of a company get paid and pay there subs who do not do the work then it puts everyone in a bind, i can tell you that there are people out there who are 100% happy with there water systems from waterworkz, But if customers dont pay for there service call yearly then they are on there own because they think a service call is a waste of time until something stops working, when you buy a car you have to change the oil or your warranty is void, same with a water system, so if you were cheap and refused a yearly service call because you said you dont need it you would take care of it yourself, then how can you say bad stuff? because i have about 300 water systems by water workz in which i service yearly and everyone is happy, If you bought a water sytem from water workz then i will once again send a service letter out, and remember its in your hands cause my number never changes, but i am not a waterworkz employee i just took over the customers and i service and take care of all of them that people ALLOW ME TO. So if you get a letter and want it serviced them dont get mad and trash the letter. thanks

Mr General Manager, its funny when the truth is spoken then you want to come out and try to defend yourself. If you Bob Salinas would have been straight forth and not lied to me about Dan Honig, you would not be mention. But like all the rest, he talked you into coming to my house to tell a few lies and then I never heard from you again. Now you tell who is lieing. I am going to post some more of your emails so people can really see you all for what you are. Look at the photo posted, now you tell me who has the temper tantrum. You told me how you cared about the veteran and how you would never do wrong towards them. Well you know what, that was also a lie. Tell folks how you told me you was put in charge of completeing my pool. Then you had the nerve to tell me you all may not have the funds are resources. Well what the hell happen to my 27, 900 ? Talk to the DA or Killeen police department, they will tell you who the victims are. Dan is about to reach his end and anyone that was associated with him will be supena to court. So try getting your lie straight again. Why would'nt I have a grudge and all the others that have been scamed out of money ? Your day is coming also and watch how your so called business partners are going to turn their backs on you. Have a great day General Manager Bob Salinas, or atleast thats the lie you started out with.

Henry Harris is guilty of "Lies" himself! If work was done then how can all his money have been taken? Henry is guilty of taking words and names out of context. Instead of using all his energy nurturing a grudge, he should be looking into getting his facts straight. Reminds me of a baby throwing a temper tantrum. Defamation is intolerable! I never took a dime from Henry, grouping me in with the whole lot. I worked for another sub-contractor. Seems like Henry enjoys playing the victim role.

Below is a email from Bob Salinas which was one of Dan Honigs managers. He always told lies and made excuses for Dan Honig. They were all scam artist and I did not even see it coming. When this case goes to court I will surely drop all names that help that crook Dan Honig scam people. This crook even ask me to fire them, just trying to get off the hook and run away with my money.

Henry,

I know your upset and at your wits end. I do understand. I am not making excuses but, Dan has had a lot of family issues and is trying to do right thing when he can. I am not trying to defend him it's just I have seen a personal Transformation. I don't know about all the promises Dan or Rick promised and I am truly sorry you have been let down.

I know it's not that you happen to be black. I would not tolerate that.

I have had to wait on resources and the weather has been a factor. I still believe we can do the job. That's why I haven't given you the heads up yet. I understand you have to do what you think you have to do though. If your telling me we are fired then I need to know that is what you want.

Just for the record, I do not write to comment on Mr. Harrish's comment; as I feel that every consumer should be able to speak whatever they wish about a company (or in this case, companies...) they feel has wronged them. I would just like to note that one of the companies mentioned in his list, Metal Workz, is NOT and never has been, owned, operated, nor affliliated with Waterworkz Pools or any of the above mentioned Honig Ventures Companies. Metalworkz Construction, Inc. is a Metal Building and General Contracting Corporation established in 2003, owned and operated by Brian D. Allen of Bertram, TX. It is my opinion, with Metalworkz's outstanding reputation for customer service and client satisfaction in its market, and in the custruction industry as a whole, it is unfortunate that these companies are being associated together in such a negative light.
