the company actually handles issues pretty well with customers. Good communication and a real nicely built website gives a lot of decent information about toll free numbers. I went to http://www.tollfreenumber.org/toll-free-numbers/ and read a lot about the service. I signed up at http://www.tollfreenumber.org/low-toll-free-rates.html and got a rate that was lower than i was expecting. I have no complaints about tollfreenumber.org

I ordered service on December 8th, 2016 and was billed two weeks later on my credit card I initially gave. I had not used the service yet but was still billed so I called to complain and had to speak to a manager before they finally agreed to extend my free trial. Everything else has been good and monthly cost is real low. Ownership is a big plus.

I agree with the original poster that this company is wonderful! They helped my transfer my number and were very clear about everything. And I spoke with several different companies and the others wouldn't even help me. The rep I spoke with even went further and helped me locate everywhere online I advertised my business so I could adjust my advertising while the transfer took place. I'm so incredibly happy I found them!

Um, I'm sorry but why do PLATINUM PLUS get to leave multiple complaints that say the same thing?!?! I just transferred to tollfreenumber.org after sprint decided to tell me they ain't gonna be doing toll free numbers any more and I NEED this for my business. This company was a dream-come-true! They don't lie to me about anything he said. They gave me the prices, the time frame, they told me exactly what to do and talked about coa... I don't know what this guy be complaining about except he seem like a bitter old bitty!

I JUST ordered with them and then decided to do extra research and got worried and emailed to cancel. I told them straight up it was because of this guys review above and sent a screen shot .. They emailed back quickly and said I could cancel no problem without fees or being charged anything but noted that that review was from 2013 and that there were several in a row from the same guy. She also said that charging customers multiple times would give them a lot more complaints if it were true and, what company would do that anyway. I realized I was over reacting - when I'd ordered they did tell me all the costs, mentioned coa and everything so I don't know why I believed this one bad review. Probably a disgruntled customer.

I've been on several "free trials" with a few of the gazillion 800 companies out there and the bill was always more than they told me it would be. When I would call to complain they'd tell me "Ooops, you didn't read the fine print" and wouldn't credit me for what their reps promised me in the first place. I didn't really have hope for toll free number org either but I went ahead and tried their free trial and it WAS legit. I could tell when I spoke to the rep initially though - her name was Anne I think and she even told me first off she wanted to make it clear what the full costs were. I asked what this coa company was and she said they work with them to get lower pricing on the service so I called a coa office and they said the same thing. Who ever wants to complain about that is obviously just bitter (or a competitor like the above commenter said). It's been two months I've been with them now and all is well and I've never stayed with any of the others this long.

I really appreciate your comment. It taught me quite a bit about what I'm up against. I'm just restarting my company. 1 person. While I was down, I downgraded my toll free number, which is a vanity number to my business and made the voice line a fax. I didn't know anything about things like parking or porting until today. I went to upgrade the number to voice and RC wanted $49.99 per month plus taxes. Oh, they advertise $24.99 but that's if you have 10, 000 users each paying a year in advance. I can hardly afford the $24.99 trying to start back up and I hardly get calls so the things I'm looking for are the ability for a consumer to call me and have it ring directly to me without 5 second transfer time yet have the choice to leave a greeting and a choice to call sales or go to vm or reroute, etc. I'm looked at a bunch. The one I looked at right before here was 800.com and it seems decent enough only it's now 5am and the "stores" are all closed so as of now I don't know how much more bills will end up to be! I see what you're posting and now I'm afraid to make a poor decision. Truthfully, any decision! I just want to lay down and stop the stress of this startup. It seems like and is, that every person I've spoken to today about internet is on a commission or bonus plan at their company. Now, in surfing for info about the phone system, in the last 8 hours I've read that porting my number can take 2 days up to 4 weeks which scares the crap out of me. I can't pay all up front, I can't afford to not have a number for any longer. I compete with massive companies with boiler rooms full of salespeople. I'll make you laugh. My company name, when I speak with people over the phone, is hard to catch the 1st time and I have to repeat it. I don't much like it. However, it's almost 10 years so it's everywhere on google searches. BUT when you see the toll free number it looks sharp, and then I always, right under it, put the full numbers in because as most people I hate having to look at the phone and poke out letters!
One of my questions is was it just the prices being different than what you were sold on by sales or was it the services provided? What is it I should be looking for?

CONCUR! I often get statements in the amount of $0.00 when I have no usage. I have multiple numbers with tollfreenumber.org and one gets no usage and there is no charge for the number. the other one gets hundreds of calls each month and the bill is minimal, like $15.00. I been using them for years and I hope they never go out of business because it is a great company that offers basically a bunch of free service.

I was trying to view my bill and got worried when I saw they had complaints! But, I check ed them out and it's basically a competitor with a dot com and whoever the platinum plus guy is above posted spam - probably the same competitor! I've had their service for years and been incredibly happy with it. Their reps are friendly and my line always works fine, no static or dropped calls. I was on vacation this past month, not using my number at all and called them to see what they could "do for me"... They said they wouldn't even charge me (since I'd clearly not used it)! What company does that?! They are VERY customer oriented.

this is an excellent company. The user above named platinumplus has a story that sounds exaggerated. This phone company has been around for 17 years on the internet and has a great rating with the BBB and has no known complaints written about them on the internet outside of platinumplus above. I have used this company with my business for years and all is great, they are truly one of the good USA company's that provide a good service and real good customer service. A+++++++

I got a toll free number from them and it's been working fine. And it's cheap. How is that a scam?

TOLLFREENUMBER.ORG is a scam, they are biased reviews written by themselves posing as review websites. IF YOU LOOK AT WHO POSTED THE FIRST REVIEW ON THIS THREAD THE NAME IS TOLL FREE NUMBERS, themselves! What you will see on your account when they try to take money out is COA NETWORK INC and also they use CO INTERNET NET they take out multiple transactions so fast, within seconds of each other the bank has a hard time stopping them.

I called this company to port a toll free number i purchased from another company, the same day later in the evening i realized by logging on to my checking account that tollfreenumber.org charged me 32 times a fee of 39.95. And a single fee of 54.99.
For the 39.95 fees they used a company that is associated with them called COA Network Inc, which owns the iTele center APP which is used by tollfreenumber.org. And for the 54.99 charge they used a company that goes by the name of CO Internet Net, if you type http://www.co-internet.net/credit.html you will be once again directed to Tollfreenumber.org. The charge of 54.99 Occurred at 2:41.17seconds and the first charge of 39.95 Occurred at 2:41.31seconds, on 8/26/2013 almost simultaneously, only seconds apart from each other.
Lastly but most important of all when i spoke to their sales rep, I gave him my business email address, I don't know how they got a hold of my personal email address and requested for me to send to them proof of ownership and the transfer request docs of the toll free number which i purchased from the company that i was going to port my toll free number from.
I thought i was very thorough in Researching this company and their reviews but it seems, they are affiliated with or are run by the same websites that recommends them, giving themselves the highest praises and recommendations, and lists themselves with top ranks above other companies.
