I had booked for a tataindicom broadband connection. I had got in touch with the sales person and he visited my residence, as per procedure and collected all the necessary documents and i paid him 500/- as cash, 50/- as his charge!! Well i was promised the connection in 2 days, but its already 15 days now and still i have no clue whats the status of my connection. Well the sales guy whom i had contacted doesn't pick my call. I called up customer care to check about it, but they asked for application number. I stated the application no which was mentioned on the form, but they said its invalid and they cant help!!

Well my question Is TataI ndicom is aware about these sales guys, as that guy had a ID of the Co?? If so how can they say that they are responsible??

Well i have submitted documents also, i am not sure whom to approach!! But i would request others please don't trust the sales guys, they are more or less cheaters!! Please be careful before submitting your documents. Don't pay the deposit until and unless u get the connection!!

So finally that HAPPY day arrived, when I am must disconnect my Tata Indicom connection.

I logged complaint for disconnection, but I am 200% sure that, one day Sun can rise from west but tata indicom folks will not actions it ( believe me I have 2yrs of exp with them) .

I searched thru entire tata indicom/vsnl sites including google but unable to get their office address. I know that they MUST require written complaint and office is somewhere in Sanjay Nagar, Bangalore.

Since I am out of Bangalore, can someone please give TataIndicom Bangalore office address to fax written complaint for disconnecting existing broadband connection.

I have cancelled TATA Indicom connection on Dec 2006, by giving back all equipments. Now it is March 2007. My advance money is not yet received.

While disconnecting they told that I will receive it shortly. Now it took 3 months almost.

Funny thing is I am getting Bills every month without the phone!!

Am writing now after being so harassed by Tata Indicom. I am a customer of their broadband service in Mumbai. On 18th April, my subscription was to expire. So, I got myself a renewal pack and renewed on the 17th April. 18th April onwards I could not log on and surf. While trying to check the account that the web site told me that I did not have sufficient money in my account.

So, I called tata indicom's call center and after much effort, they managed to locate that the money was topped up, but the account validity for some reason had not gotten extended. The suggestion was for me to buy another renewal pack and renew again, which I refused to do. I was given a complaint number. Since then I have been calling every other day to check on the status, and every some days they cancel my previous call and provide me another complaint number. Thus ensuring that the age of the complaint is never much.

Since the 18th April, I have not been able to use my internet account. I was called once day before and told that the problem had been rectified, but that was untrue. I have called twice today and I am given the same long useless story. When I asked for a supervisor, I was denied the opportunity to talk to any supervisor. I must have called them about 20 odd time so far.

And two days back, Tata Indicom sends me an email (as below) saying that my account has been made inactive. This, I think is straightforward incompetence and now they are sitting on my money and earning interest and have shown no interest to sort the issue out.

DO NOT BUY TATA INDICOM BROADBAND!!! Or any other Broadband From TATA i got an infinity 512 kbps (1850 per month) connection on 28 April 2007 by paying by cheque 2123 (1123 for installation + 1000 for deposit) and 208 rs as pro rata for April 28th to 30th April... I got a bill for 4407 on may 1st itself!!!! After calling call center number almost 20 times which is NOT TOLL FREE 60605050 they agreed the amount of 208+2123 is paid (i have the bank statement to prove) then THEY ARE DEMANDING RENTAL AS ADVANCE FOR A POST PAID CONNECTION so for the net connection for 1st may 2007 to 31st may 2007 i have to pay in the starting of the month itself then why do they call it post paid!!! Also installation was the most HORRIBLE INSTALLATION the wiring guy is cutting the wire without any wire cutter tool but by rubbing against corner of wall can you imagine also no uniform or ID card is provided to the wiring person the sales guy or the technical installation guy...

These ISPs are completely taking customers for a BIG RIDE. I had no option but to pay up as they disconnected me in the middle of the month and i need a broadband connection for connecting to my office. Their mail id customerservice@vsnl.co.in keeps sending me reply that i have to pay 4407 when in fact i have cleared the payment and even paid ADVANCE RENTAL... NET CONNECTION IS STILL NOT WORKING!!!

May the TATA FAMILY ROT IN HELL for making me go through this horrible experience.

The company is making unnecessary delays even after submitting the instrument more than two months back. They don't have updated records and create problem for innocent customers, neither the customer care provides any useful information.

They want me to visit the public office... where one has to stand in long queues and even then the work is not done. I want to ask the company whether it will pay me the interest on my money for the delays made.??? I even received the legal notice form their advocate which uselessly says that I have the illegal position of their instrument.

Hi All,

I have purchased a MOTO Q hand set and not able to connect the internet in my phone. I have been to motorola Service center at himayatnagar and somajiguda in hyderabad. They are just useless fellows they don't even know about the hand set. They don't know the details of the models and Net settings.

I have been also at the TATA INDICOM customer care at BasheerBagh hyderabad KLK Estaes, they are just sending me here and there is no proper response from the customer care people and there are no responsible persons are there for clarify my problem and get me rid of this.

I have waited for more than 3 hours at the customer care but my problem not yet solved.

Hi,

I am facing very very high call drop from the Tata Indicom Walky. Made no. of complaints but no solution till date. Even their walky is not working correctly again lot of complaints, but no solution.
Cansome one give me the contact information of Prabhat Pani their COO for Karnatka & AP? I checked on the internet but could not able to find.

I wanted to take an internet connection at my home for which I approach to a tata indicom executive and he shown me several packages. I selected a package and gave him all charges taken a receipt of that. After 2 days two executive came and installed a phone (model 450TL) saying that you need to get data cable for connecting this to your pc to make use of internet facility. After installation they switch off the phone and went, said to me don't switch it on for 30 minutes some processing is going on at the service center. I went to market for data cable for my phone model 450 TL at tata indicoms sales center, the sales person replied, this model doesn't support internet then for conformation I called to customer care at 121 also asked at service center, everyone was saying the 450 TL doesn't support internet, Then I asked to those executive who installed phone asking why they installed wrong instrument, They shouted on phone and refused to agree that phone doesn't support internet.

They are still not agree when I got confirmed this fact from more then 10 shops of tata indicom. Why tata indicom not providing training for instrument installation or tata indicom is just blindly sending anyone for any work.

I specifically specified for my need of internet and phone then why didn't they install the right instrument.

I have the tata indicom walky. When i try to connect to internet through this walky i face several problem. The MAJOR problem faced by me is frequent disconnection it disconnect after every 15 -20 minutes when i call customer care it told me to dial *119 and told after dialing this your problem will be resolved but after dialing this number i am facing same problem of frequent disconnection
what i do???

Really i am fed up with the connection and the service they provide.

This is mail reply for not resolving a problem and cheating by TATA INDICOM by supplying wrong and useless product. No resolution after many times contacting to service center, call centre at 121 and so many other mobile centers.

After sending so many complaints online, offline, on phone and manually and after getting harassed from Tata Indicom, I just have a question, how can I get back my money from Tata Indicom for which I have given for internet+phone. They cheated me for everything and haven't provided what I have asked for.

My complaint no. is 79358631.

At any cost I don't have trust on Tata Indicom so I will not proceed for any business relationship with Tata Indicom.

This is regarding the broad band connection from Tata Indicom Broad Band Connection which I had applied for in Chennai. I had applied for a Tata Post paid broad band connection on the 27th June and was promised connection in 3days time. I had paid them 4month rent in advance (Rs. 8315). After many call to the customer care the connection was provided on the 4th of July, but till date I was not able to use this internet connection. The representative called us many time, till they received the money from us. Once the fund where with them they tried to avoid our calls and no one has bothered to come and attend to the fault till date.

I am very much disappointed with the services and the follow up provided by your company. Inspire of my repeated complains and mails, this fault has not been rectified till date. I regret taking this connection.

It is a pity that such an established company like Tata is having such irresponsible staff. Even govt establishment are doing much better job compared to Tata.

Fine now so many complaints about this shamelessly unordered organisation. i'm here to add one more.
I had applied for a connection in Nov 2007 and within a fwe days i got my request cancelled. Till then it was fine and i was told my deposit amount of Rs 1000 will be in my hands by 2 weeks time.
Now its more than 10 months and i'm still waiting for the money. In this period i had been in touch with the Area Manager and that Dumb fellow has not taken even a step even after i've called him more than 1000 times at least. The customer care is the junkest part of the organisation. everytime i talked to them i was given a new complaint number and again no response.
I had been to the Bangalore Head office also where a lady took my written complaint and result was the same i.e. no action. I'm fed up these people now and i'm going to lodge a complaint with the Consumer forum this weekend.

I request u guys to screw this company the same way i'm gonna do.

I had learnt a quote long back"The GHOSTS of stick won't listen to WORDS". So people please use the language these people understand.

I too agree with above complaints. I applied for USB modem of TATA indicom. That simcard is not yet activated even after 8 days. I am going to blast the true value shop dealer today.

I am always facing problem of barring my out going calls. I am using Tata indicom service in Hyderabad. Without informing they use to bar my services. They behave as if I am running away without paying bill. It's heck man. When ever I use call regarding this then they use to disconnect the call or they wont response nicely. The way they talk its really fucking. They dont know how to talk and all. Its all crap here in Hyderabad. They should give some time wen it reaches the credit amount to pay the bill. This kind of problem I am facing every month. I am trying to get the head office contact so that I put this issue before them. When ever I use to ask their supervisor number for talking on the same then they use to disconnect. Its hell.. Tata indicom is really bad.

I have taken an internet connection,which is very very slow & few sites are not opening,whenever i tried to contact at koramangala office at bangalore,no body will attend the call and the executive who dealt with me never respond to my call.Also i have applied for landline connection in the month of september and i have paid all the charges by cash,still that connection has not been provided and they have not returned my money also which i have paid for landline connection.
