I just received this email...
Dear GE Money Bank customer,

A charge of 11.34$ was made to Skype Inc. from your credit card.
If you haven't authorized this charge, please cancel the payment and get a full refund.

I did go to the link then I linked all of the sections below the webpage and it directs me back to main page. I do not have a Skype Account. I believe that these people are attempting to steal your credit card information. I fowarded this to my bank and credit card company. I hope this helps.

The same thing happened to me. I know nothing about SKYPE and never used them. I was billed twice. The first time for $12.84 three times on the same day and the second time for $10.00 three times on the same day.
How is it that they are getting away with this and how can we stop it

same thing happen to me!! i noticed on my january credit card statement in amount of $75.92 + 2.20 foreign transaction fee from skype.com which ive never heard of before. i had posession of my card. ive called my credit card company immdiately to dispute the charge and i received a letter with computer print out from skype with my name as a card holder and order number, and cvc (?) result being approved.
what the f*&k!!! im so upset right now i cancelled my card just in case they charge me again. is there any place i could file a complaint to???

I SAY LETS TAKE THEM OVER, TAKE THEM OFF LINE FOR GOOD EBAY GETS AWAY WITH STUFF AND THE LAW DON'T DO NOTHING.

NOW WE SHOULD TAKE THE LAW IN TO OUR HANDS AND KICK THE CRAP OUT OF ALL THE SO CALLED BOTS, NO HUMANS ARE THERE SO WHAT WE HAVE IS BOTS.

ANYONE UP FOR SEEING SKYPE FALL LOL LET ME MAKE A CALL LMAO OH READ MINE TOO YOU ALL.
IM SLANDERED FOR FALSE ACTS OF FRAUD, AFTER SKYPE STEALING MY FUNDS.

AND IT IS AFTER YOU TAKE MONEY THEN CLAIM FRAUD TO EXCUSE YOUR ACTIONS. THAT'S THEFT AND WITH PRINTED DOCUMENTS TOO YOUR SCREWED EBAY AND SKYPE.

Eric Suesz caontact him he blew it when i was working on this now my actions have been cloased to get this done due to disruption of get satisfaction.com, we cant perform our investigations to get this done.

i had him in my pocket then that guy removed my post for the support section all.

sorry but wen people refuse to work with me or what i work on i cant help no more get satisfaction.com - Eric Suesz stoped a legal matter freom getting done another company faving the skype gives me reason now to believe that guy is a part of it. on on that site he is also answering the company emails

I too have a compaint about SKYPE. Skype is online, no one to speak with only email. On April 20th I was billed $59.50 which should not have been billed. I did not authorize this charge. I received their email stating they´d be reversing the charges within 5-7 days yet todate I have not received my refund. Their business tactic leave much to be desired. No simple way of cancelling, no phone access, no true customer support. It´s over 8 business days and the refund has not been received and today I received an email stating Thank you for your order of which I did not place I replied telling them again that I did not authorize anything and was expecting my refund which was over due. I´M KEEPING MY FINGERS CROSSED !!!

i went to paypal cause i use them and paid them from it as well umm only deal is ftc... let them know of this as well and contact your bank make a note to them its not your charge and to block all access from skype. i had to do the same at citi bank.

skype can no longer access no account of ours on there as well.

get satisfaction.com look up skype you will get an answer once a day only not a daily online time like we are used to. you also might bring up this list of complaints and post as we did on the get satisfaction.com site so all are aware they are frauding accounts.

This has happened to me too! I've been hit 6 times 2 days in a row! My bank even shut down my debit card and they were still able to steal money from me! I'm not a member either and I have never heard of them!!! You can't reach the bastards and they can just keep hitting you over and over!!! Anyone know how to stop this??? Bank says they can't.

paypal is one and get satisfaction.com is another, they are on UK Time frame And USA time frame.
Paypal is a way to make a fraud claim you may have to do this by banks help. dispute charges with bank if they refuse tell them you will be contacting the fdica insurance people will do something.

I have also paid or my skype credit on 7th of nov 2009. I have a PDF invoice from them.
Todate there is no skype credit on my skype account.
I cannot call anyone using skype.
Its so dificult ot contact there customer service and they have not replied any e-mails I have sent them!
Some thing really should be done.
I am going to e-mail my credit card providers and ask them not to authorise any new paymens to skype. I hope this can be done.
However as soon as I can get closure on this matter Iam never going to use skype again and I will just disable it from my computer and uninstall it straight away.

Then I will go back to Uganda until may 2010 and my contact in Uganda will be +256 772 840 730

ho sar i have one complaint to skype sorry to say sar i like skype & i love skype here a 1 skyper was blackmailling me his skype name is Egor sjus he is black mailing so contact him he is from karkow poland kindly report him iam from pakistan
