In Sept. 2007, I purchased 4 matching tables from Harlem. After a few weeks I noticed one of the tables was spotting. I contacted them and they sent a techician out to look at the table. He stayed for about 30 seconds and left. They contacted me 3 days later and stated that the techicians report stated that I was using lemon oil on the table and that was causing the spotting and that there was also rings from glasses on the table. I explained to the supervisor that I have never used any kind of oil on the table and that the rings were from the stone coaster and they were soaking up the oil that was seeping from the wood. I also stated if this was caused by me, why were none of the other tables experiencing the same spotting. She stated that the technician stated that it was because I was using oil on the table. I stated again that I have never used oil on the table. I also told here that I had cleaned the table with dawn dishwashing liquid to remove the oil and it still was coming thru. She stated that this was not a manufacturing defect, but that I was using lemon oil on the tables. Needless to say, now I have to live with a table that looks awful even after polishing, because of course the oil comes thru again. DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM HARLEM
