I bought this Nokia 5230 phone for my daughter on Dec 17, 2009, and 2 weeks later half of the screen suddenly went dark and stopped functioning. At the local service center we were told that we had dropped the phone or hit it, which was not the case at all! They refused to take the phone back under the above pretext and also refused to pay for the repair of the internal screen. It cost me 92 USD! For a brand new phone! Moreover, the screen goes black at temperatures under zero, so it is impossible to speak outside. I understand that the phone is a sensor one, but it shouldn't be THAT sensitive, should it? I suppose I was unlucky to buy a defective telephone, but who is going to reimburse my expenses? I DO want my money back!!!
