The complaints from the Lakeside Apartmentsin lisle IL tenants are fairly typical:
bed bugs, broken windows, leaky roofs, cockroach infestations and mold, among other
problems. What is alarming is the sheer volume of complaints from tenants. City
officials visited one Lakeside Apartments in lisle IL owned building a whopping 119
times over the space of six years and even revoked the rental license at one
point.Lakeside Apartmentsin lisle IL generally ignore complaints from tenants until
city officials force them to resolve an issue and even then they do only the minimal
amount of repairs necessary in order to pass inspection.

Building managers hired by Lakeside Apartmentsin lisle IL also lodged damning
complaints against Lakeside Apartmentsin lisle IL who allegedly forced them to do
various unscrupulous things shannon donaldson who was a building manager for the
Lakeside Apartmentsin lisle IL from November 2009 to 2010 that she was instructed to
let complaining tenants out of their leases. Once the tenants had moved out, shannon
donaldson was told to prepare eviction documents that would later be used to extract
money from the former tenants in court proceedings.

Over the past 10 years the Lakeside Apartmentsin lisle IL have owned at least 17
properties, usually multifamily apartment complexes. In that time, they have had
their rental licenses revoked at least 9 times because of unresolved housing code
violations. They also have about 30 liens, totaling more than $250, 000, filed
against their properties for unpaid taxes and bills; in addition, they owe about
$434, 000 in past-due taxes in Washington, Hennepin and Anoka counties and more than
$100, 000 in Wisconsin.

Lakeside Apartmentsin lisle IL have managed to stay in business through a series of
shadow companies that successfully manipulate the rental-property regulatory system.
Lakeside Apartmentsin lisle IL also prey on the neediest of renters; they accept
Section 8 housing vouchers and do not run background checks or require an
application, which makes their apartments very attractive to renters with bad credit
and other past rental problems. So here’s a word of caution from our experts:if a
rental deal seems too good to be true, it just might be. Take an extra day or two
and do your research before locking yourself in to a one-year lease withLakeside
Apartmentsin lisle IL a landlord from hell.

If anyone has a dog or Cat don't let it outside. Your dog or cat will die. I live at Lakeside Apartments in Lisle, IL thelakesideapts.com who claims to be dog lovers. I was taking my dog out one day and some old rusty truck in my lot spraying all over the grass the person yelled put your dog back in the house he got very short with me and told me it was a poision that helps the grass live longer.

It was not safe for my dog or cat to be out for about 24 hours. I almost s**t my pants. My dog always goes out after eating, so I can go to work like everyone else. I got home that day and my dog was gone. I had this dog for over 3 years. My heart is gone. This f*ck-en place has to be stopped. They do things there own way and don't care who they hurt. I have gotten an attorney and called Chuck Goudie and the ABC7 I-Team. I sent my video and have them look at my apartment to see if it is up to date. If NOT its time someone stood up to this place.

This place is the most stressful place I have ever lived!
The front door you can open with a credit card. (great security)
Doors, hinges, handles, windows, rugs, walls, cabinets, bath tub, toilet, screens, switches, etc. I know some abandoned houses that look better than this place. Don't be fooled by there web page. All the photos are fake, not one apartment looks like that. Stop by don't talk to the [censored] up front. Stop at someones apartment! Just knock on there door ask them yourself hows the neighborhood, the management? It sucks! They dime you to death and don't do anything. Everything is old, including the workout room. My high school had better equipment than this place. Dog [censored] all over, garbage everywhere, no parking, drug dealing, vandalism, the list goes on. The bottom line is noone respects you or your needs! This is from someone who has seen it all. Welcome to The dump to the dump to the dump dump dump! Don't waste your time or money for only to have your credit wrecked because of poor management skills. Find yourself a better place and save your money and sanity.

Keep looking! This place looks great from the internet, and from the first tour it looks nice. Then you sign and get into your place, and it's not nearly as nice as the model. The bait and switch scam. The model had an intercom and a fancy thermostat, a nice tiled entryway. None of that in our place. Fit and finish is lousy. Doors don't close right, the closet doors are constantly falling out of the tracks, are super creaky, etc. All of our appliances make crazy noises all the time. Expensive laundry in the building, that's usually full. The walls are so thin, you can hear every moan of the skank upstairs, you can hear the guy next door using the john, and the dog yelping all night long. (which management did nothing about, after talking to them multiple times) Parking really sucks. You pay $5 a month per car for the privilege of not being towed (hopefully) but then a few months after we moved in, they implemented the "Preferred Parking" program so you have to pay $20 a month per car if you want to park anywhere near your place. We opted to save our money and hike across the complex. There's lots of police activity, and the fire department is here on a daily basis. The staff treats you like they have a hundred things they'd rather be doing. The billing system is crazy. They keep switching utility billing services. Now they require automated payments. They won't accept checks! In short, you can probably find a better place for less money. Keep looking.

This comment is clearly from a disappointed renter, one which could use a few grammatical and punctuational lessons. As far as bed bugs and cockroaches- I have never seen any of the above, neither have I had leaky roofs, nor have I had mold.

Although this complex advertised themselves as being "luxury", this is not the case. While the apartments themselves are OK, they are not "luxury" by any means. However, the community is upgrading all vacant units to hard wood flooring, which is a nice added bonus.

As for Maintenon issues, I have never had a problem. All issues were addressed in a timely maner, they also leave a bag of popcorn with a note proclaiming that they "popped in".

The lien issues- Lakeside is owned by Aimco. I did my research and Lakeside is not responsible for the lien mentions that were suggested,

Regarding Section 8 Housing- This is completely untrue. I cannot speak of the past, however, when I signed my lease in 2011, my credit score was checked, my background was checked, my drivers license report was also checked.
