Janise Fonseca review: Unprofessional, did not get what we paid for.

On February 20, 2016 I booked a vacation trip for my boss in his family. They were celebrating their, 50 years birthday, 21 year, 18, 16 birthday for the children, 25 year of marriage and high school graduation.

When placing the order I spent more than 4 hours on the call initially to get everything placed. $15, 000 later the trip to Now Lari Mar in Punta Cana DR was finally booked.

I paid for first class seats for my boss and his wife and paid extra to get assigned seats and extra leg room for the children. Because there were connecting flights, I had to pay charges four times, for departure and return.

I upgraded the rooms to have ocean front tropical view. Ground floor to be able to walk out from the rooms to the pool and beach.

They sent me 4 different emails with changes in flights which canceled the upgrades each time and caused me to be on the phone each time trying to correct things for at least 2 hours each.

None of the flights provided the services we paid for.

We did not get the rooms we paid for, we were on the forth floor and far from everything.

Once we arrived to Dominican Republic, a gentleman greeted us. We thought it was a person to take us to our transportation vehicle that we reserved. He was a man trying to up sale us and would not tell us where to go to continue to our travels. He held us up for 2 hours in the heat.

Once we finally found the Bookit travel desk we waited 45 min for the transportation we paid for to come and find out that us 6 had to share a 8 passenger van with 6 other people. It was a nightmare. We all had to sit on each others lap or weight another hour in the heat.

When we arrived at the hotel, there were other men there trying to up sale us and would not let us check in.

When we checked in, no one had the rooms that we paid for.

With that said, after all the initial nightmare,

The food is great,
The pool is beautiful,
The service is helpful and attentive,
They provided many different activities to do.
