I too would like to join your lawsuit. Today six weeks of email disappeared from my phone and computer account with GoDaddy. I bought my domain name because I wanted a catchy email. I don't have a business. For several years I was charged over $200 for Microsoft products I don't use except outlook for email. Several times my email had been corrupted. I called at renewal and said all I want is renewal of my domain. They said I had to purchase Outlook from them so I did for about $80 a year. Twice I the last two weeks I have lost all my email in my computer and on my iPhone. I got them back by doing a restart but this week they are gone. A month worth of hotel, cruise and flight bookings as well as movie and play tickets. Apple restored my account with an excellent customer service representative but she couldn't fix the Go Daddy email. I called Go Daddy and got what sounded like s huge party. The representative said all my emails were lost for a six week period and could not be restored. I explained that they billed me for outlook and so did Microsoft. They said call Microsoft if I paid. I explained that Microsoft would not talk to consumers and he rudely said there was nothing they could do. I told him I was paying for email and he could give me no assurance that it wouldn't happen again. I asked for credit for the double billing of outlook. That is a Microsoft problem according to GoDaddy. In the over five years I've been with them I've only had two customer service people that helped with anything. Rotten company and searching for another service provider so I never have to talk to them again. Chris

Sometime in September 2011 I pre-registered several xxx names. On Dec 6 was the release date. I called several time why the names were not registered and they told me to wait for an email from ICMRegistry that never came. Today on Dec 14 I called and I was told that they will refund my money back. No notice and no refund was made to this date. The names were of great value and I have made programs for those names. Godaddy has also misappropriated another name the ezpaper.com which I had purchased for a lot of money. I am planning to seek judicial remedies. I can testify on these allegations.

Godaddy only hires young people (35 and under) hence their unprofessionalism/lack of service. Let me state not all people under 35 are unprofessional. I know this practice for a fact as I was referred by a young man to apply. In doing so online they asked what years I attended high school, which I don't have a problem with my age, prospective employers do. I received a polite email back stating, "though they value employee referrals that they have decided to interview people who's skills, abilities and knowledge more closely match the position. That's funny, since they interviewed and hired a 27 year-old female who was referred by the same employee. She did not posses any such skill, ability nor knowledge for the position and I do. I know this probably sounds like some ol' lady complaining but I am 51 years young in good shape and health. Obviously age had everything to do with it and not skills/ability/knowledge. But I guess that's just life these days!

Yes, we would like to contact you regarding the lawsuit. Here is the information:

I want to say that GODaddy Dedicated Server Service really screw up our business and not offering any apologizes in return. GoDaddy did not provide any way or advice for us how to restore the whole system. GoDaddy support is very slow and terrible and does not provide any advice.

GoDaddy backups/restore procedure is misleading as they actually do not provide one. GoDaddy has asked us to re-install all programs and configure all again manually. This is not a professional way to do backup. We had account with other companies like HostMySite and they are able to restore the system for us in few hours.

There are programs installed, fine tuning for several days, patches applied, configurations etc. We do not even have all installation programs or know the order in which it was applied.

After few weeks the sites are still not operational and GoDaddy did not provide any advice or way to restore the system.

We lost months of data and development...

I will be checking your suit information. And probably will join in. I have just found fraudulent charges on my debit account. Have cancelled card and will call bank today to get new card. I never authorized any charges. But when I look at the site it indicates that the same company you are sueing is the one that took my money. Thanks. RGValleyGal
