Front Range Installers review: Games with pay, etc. 1

This company is so amateurish, it's not funny! They hire people to do contract work at Ace Hardware stores in Denver and Colorado Springs, CO. They claim you are a contractor but they are in obvious violation of state and federal laws for how employees and contractors are classified (that part is a long story and would take several pages to explain). But I've read up on those requirements multiple times. FRI claims we are contract employees but they violate their own contract and have paid me late several times. The contract states that we are paid based on appointments booked but they actually only pay for appointments they run. They also state we can set our own hours and days but they schedule us without any discussion (contractors set their own hours, employers set the times and hours for employees, one of many violations of those laws I mentioned above). Small business people routinely play these games to avoid paying for unemployment benefits and tax withholding. FRI owes me money and they have refused to pay. Apparently, they plan to keep simply rip me off! So never do business with Front Range Installers or the Ace stores in north Denver (near 104th and Federal) and the 2 stores in Colorado Springs owned by Kirby and Nick Kuklenski. Those guys allow FRI to market in their stores and they are enabling this company to carry on this way.

These comments sound like those of a disgruntled ex-staff member. They carry no weight because the company's perspective is not represented. Frankly, this forum is unfair anyway. Due to privacy concerns, a wise employer would never stoop to address these complaints in a public forum. I don't know this company nor do I know the ex staff member. I just know that every story has two sides, and a person of honor and integrity would not resort to slander and libel as was written here. If there is a true offense then contact an attorney or a governmental agency that oversees employment law. But spare the rest us your juvenile rant.
