The same thing just happened to me!!! I have NO idea where I agreed and/or signed up for what they are charging me for. I thought it had been taken care of, but the $29.95 was charged to my account. That charge caused me to get an overdraft fee of $25.00. I had only $28.30 in the bank, and I knew that a charge for about $21.65 would be coming out for Blockbuster, leaving me $6.65 until my SSDI check came on the third of the month! I am so darn upset! I called and spoke with someone just awhile ago; they stated that it is clearly stated about the 3-in-1 Report!!! I totally, completely, and firmly disagree with her, as I had NO idea I signed up for it!!! I did not want a charge for anything; I just wanted my "Free Credit Report"! Boy, was a ever taken, as well as perhaps thousands more just in this year alone!!! They will reap what they sow; that I AM confident about!!!
God bless and provide; choose to do right no matter what others do! Forgive and bless them! I'm still grinding my teeth, but I will go on! LOL God is Faithful; He will see me through!

Free Credit Report is not free! I cancelled the service and they still charged $14.95 from my checking account well after I cancelled. I called Free Credit Report and they refused to refund the $14.95. Free Credit Report is a Ripoff!

Also robbed by free credit report.com. There credit reports were not and are still not accurate. I asked for a refund based on the fact 2 of the 3 agencies reported very different reports than freecreditreport. The told me it was non refundable. i told them i would contact my district attorney and to cancell my account. just got dinged with a monthly service charge. I'm going and recommend everyone else goes straight to their local district attorney, believe it or not, they get things done.

There's nothing remotely free about FREE CREDIT REPORT.com. They're advertisements are fraudulent and their practices are criminal. I have called the FTC about a class-action lawsuit. I tried to cancel three times within my 9 day trial period by phone (the only way you're allowed to cancel) and could never get through even though I called during their listed business hours. I was scammed out of thirty dollars. This Class Action Lawsuit is the only way to seek reperations. If you would like to persue this course of action with me, please add your name and zipcode to the list below.

I called to cancel my free credit report at freecreditreport.com and the CUSTOMER SERVICE person REFUSED TO CANCEL IT. I have never in my life heard someone double speak and act completely unprofessional and insane. The accent sounded like they were from India --he said his name was JC. He first said I can offer you a 50% savings of what you have been paying and you can pay 7.95, I said no thank you I am paying all my debt off and I no longer need to moniter my credit cards. I said at least 6 times I would like to cancel it. He kept saying so I will sign you up for the 7.95 monthly payment. When I finally said I am reporting your company to the better business bureau he said, why Miss I cancelled it what are you talking about? This company is disgusting and I feel really sorry for anyone who has to go through what I just went through on the phone. ANCESTRY.com was the complete OPPOSITE. I will do business with them again. I called to cancel and they offered to refund the last month since they had just billed it and I have not been using it. they were exceptional and professional. DO NOT TAKE YOUR BUSINESS TO FREECREDITREPORTS.COM. go anywhere else but here!!!

If they say they cannot cancel, hangup and call back. Them demand to talk to a supervisor. If that fails, cancel the credit card and have it reissued.

Free Credit Report is not free!!! They charged me upfront for $1.00 and then a month later charged me another $14.95. That is exactly how this company makes their money...by scaming people the $14.95 non-refundable...they figure people will not the fine print. Take $14.95 x 100, 000 people and that is a lot of money to keep them in business. How sad and corrupt.

I am in the same problem..These stupid people took $24.95 off my account..Its just useless and a way to take money from poor people. They will definately be cursed by such behavior. I was talking to a Guy named MATT 66465. He is a asshole. I will never use this site again and I'll tell as many people as I know its all fraud. Its just a way to take money from money.

Just a comment guys... I'm in the neutral side because I know what you all into and I know how the business works... all I can say is its part of the marketing strategies... when you first went to the website, did you all read the contents of the homepage? the disclaimers/important notices, the ads, everything?? did you?? First, you must read every page so that you know what your signing in... second, read the terms and conditions... if you don't read it and just agree on it then your lost because after reading it and click the box to check it to agree, it means that you did agree that after the trial period that you'll be billed with the membership fee or every transactional charge... As I said, its part of the marketing strategies... So from now on, be mindful and cautious on the terms and conditions that you'll be agreeing...

the same thing happened to me I went into check "changes to my credit report " Only to find out I was totally charged again the $29.95 . I ended up canceling it all. This place is unscruplous and just after more money. wish I would have checked this out before.

I had this just happen to me too! In fact, I called them on it and they only would give me a $10 refund. I guess they realized the charge is tricky otherwise I don't see why they would even offer a partial refund. Since they would not reimburse the full amount, I immediately called my credit card and disputed the charge as I don't recall ever authorizing this charge. Very deceiving, to say the least, if there is someplace where they indicate it will be $29.95 to access a certain website--if so, I sure didn't see it. At any rate, they told me up front it would be $19.95 if I didn't cancel within 9 days but there was nothing that I recall regarding an additional charge of $29.95.

I just had the same thing happen to me and I don't even know how they got my banking information.. I was having no luck with this stupid "Free credit report" so I contacted my bank and asked my bank to put a stop payment on any charges that they may try to charge. I also found that when put on the spot about fraud and ripping people off they did refund our money.. This is the 3rd month in a row that this has happened and overdrawn my account.. I and fed up with large companies taking advantage of toise trying to make something in this life.. I wish you all the luck..

There is nothing mentioning they will charge you 29.95 unless you say no thanks at checkout. After clicking the blue "no thanks" button you will see the 29.95 fee. This was told to me by a suprevisor. So the bottom line is the fee is hidden in a place you will never see it unless you DON'T want to get your credit report. I was told I would receive a full refund in 7 to 10 business days so I am currently waiting to see what happens. To get this far I was nothing short of being a dick on the phone about the whole experience. I used no bad language, I just told them I would not go away until I recieved the full 29.95 back. Then the supervisor told me where the fee disclosure was and I asked her how I would see that if I wanted the credit report. Naturally, she had no worthy answer. I HAVE HAD IT WITH COMPANIES LIKE THIS, WHICH IN MY BOOK ARE EVERY FORTUNE 500 COMPANY. THEY DON'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT ANYONE OR ANYTHING. THIS COUNTRY NEEDS A REVOLUTION. POLITITIONS AND THE COMPANIES THEY SUPPORT NEED TO BE EXECUTED. DEMOCRAT, REPUBLICAN OR WHATEVER, THEY ARE ALL MONEY SUCKING SCUM. I SAY KILL THEM ALL!!!

Completely agree. I am now on day 10 of waiting for my so called 'refund' they immediately charged me $29.95 TWICE! I immediately cancelled and they refused to refund then they said they'll refund $29.95 & $14.95. Becuase it's non refundable they are keeping $15. What a crock! They are a total joke, told them I'm going to file a police report fi they don't refund it she said "goahead" I'm like oh yeah don't tempt me. I will be filing a complaint against them. It's ridiculous, all you want is your credit report and here they are charging you. What I clicked on Said "7 Day FREE trial" Not "Here let me charge you $29.95 TWICE!" Called AGAIN today, said oh no there was an error the refund didn't go thru, it'll be refunded today. Yeah well if it's not there by next Wed. I'm filing the damn police report and complaint with my bank! And going to report them to better business bureau.

My free credit report was processed incorrectly two times in a row.
My apartment number is 503 and was processed using apt 5C and then processed again with apt 5.
Now the credit agencies want proof of my "new" address. |
