This company has horrible customer service, and is the biggest rip off. Aside from the fact that their products are poorly made, (The soles of the my child's shoes fell apart the first week of school and the seaming on her skirt is came undone after a month) but they are expensive and overpriced compared to other uniform companies we have delt with in the past. Their staff was also rude to my elderly mother, and that's where I draw the line. I'm done with flynn, and I hope you are too.

This company has nerve calling their herd of bullies a customer service department. But the fish always stinks first from the head. I had the pleasure of speaking to Ms Erwin Flynn - “I’m an owner of the company” - and it is no wonder their front line is staffed with arrogant bullies. When I got off the phone I felt like i did something wrong. They shipped me the wrong size pants 3 times and all i asked for was shipping reimbursement. I’ve been around some nasty people in my life but I’ve never felt so demanded by someone with my money in their hand. I have a feeling this is a second generation company and Ms flynn and her fellow owners never had to get a job in their life. I spoke to my school administrator that handles the contract and they told me the company reimburses them 10% of the purchases and that’s why they do business with them. She also said they suspect they haven’t been paying the full rebate for the past 15 years and have called the FBI. Steer clear of this company and the frauds that run it.

Hi,
I bought some uniforms pieces on 9.08.18 from the store located in Lawrence Park Shopping Center, Broomall, PA. At the time of purchase they asked my phone number and I said "I would prefer not to be on the system but thank you". They said "ok" and continued my purchase of over$140. Three days later I went back with the intention of returning and exchanging a couple of pieces and one of the adult ladies told me "is their policy to have my personal phone number for returning or exchanging". The receipt the store gives away with the purchase states clearly for Return Policy to be required "Photo ID and Receipt" not mentioning any other requirement. The "lady" did not only refused to accept the t-shirts in return but had the courage to say to another one - in front of all the costumers and staff - "what happens is that she doesn't understand what I'm saying about the policy". I told her I spoke English and tried to explain her attitude was humiliating and aggravating but she started laughing at me saying "I'm only smiling". I have never in my life had met such a vicious person, and be treated in such a racist way in front of anyone, specially my kid. I told her I was going to contact the company or refuse the charge but she continue laughing and said "go ahead". I took the time to share with you my experience today because I believe companies should not have costumer service given by non-fitted staff, like that "lady, racist and a bully" way of treating costumers. I also would like you to know they will not honor the Receipt Return Policy. This is my first "experience" with that store. Be aware.

I never had a serious problem with Flynn O'Hara until today. Yes of course the uniforms are bad quality and definitely not worth the prices! However, today in the Newark, New Jersey store Barbara Perez showed me the worst customer service I ever experienced with this company. The sad part about her attitude was that she joined a conversation I was having while talking on the phone. I was discussing the poor quality uniforms and she started telling me about why the sizes between a polo shirt and hoodie was different. When told her I was going to complain to the school about the poor quality in the hoodie, Barbara Perez started telling me I was only complaining because I had a bad day! I was so confused at how this employee who represents Flynn O'Hara could diagnosis me like she was my medical physician... all I can say is poor Flynn O'Hara representation!

Today, I went to the FlynnO'Hara Uniforms at Wilkes-Barre, PA with my daughter to buy the uniform for the school and I am still in shock by the way I was treated. In the beginning I had a nice blonde skinny girl that was helpful but then came two heavy set women with a nasty attitude and so disrespectful in their comments, bad manners and very rude. If I had't driven so far to get to the store, I would had left everything there. After paying almost $200.00 the cashier Marylou B. didn't even thanked me. They are the most rude employees I've seen in my life. I wouldn't have them even to stock the shelves.
I will never go back to that store and I will make sure every parent will know what I went through with such rude employees. They didn't have any uniforms there anyway! Only one shirt and one vest! Such a long trip for nothing!
The schools have to get another Company for uniforms!

I have been using Flynn Ohara for 4 years because the school set up an account with this company. Parents were not allowed to purchase outside of this company. I have purchased for the past 4 years and always hated that they were so pricey. Just recently the school went with another company. My problem was the other company never has my child's size available. The old pants were becoming warned out and I had no choice but to trash 2 pair which left one pair to work with. I was happy to know I could still purchase the uniform pants but only without the school's logo. With the tax and shipping the pant came to a total of $47.00 once received I had to pay an additional $9.00 to hem. I must say that the material felt lighter in weight. After 1 wash lint is piling on the inner thighs. I just spent an extra 15 min trying to get the wrinkles out. They don't iron well at all! After all the ironing they are a bit shiny from putting so much heat to it. The also have a strange material smell when you iron them. I am so disappointed and the school year is soon coming to an end. This is why I only purchased the one pair. The old pair is in ok shape and is almost a wrinkle free. Didn't have to do to much ironing and the quality was a whole lot better. So now they are selling a cheaper material and get paid the same amount for a better quality material that was still over priced to begin with. The only one profiting is Flynn O so SAD. I won't used them again

Flynn O'Hara charges exorbitant prices for private school uniforms along with expensive shipping but they take weeks to deliver! I received a notice after waiting an extraordinary amount of time that my daughter's shirts were on back order, when I called the gentleman said "Oh, we have the shirts, they are just in our warehouse on site." You cannot make this stuff up... Below is a letter I recently sent regarding their terrible delivery service.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
Please advise as to why your organization is so awful with delivering ordered items to the consumer? One would think the consumer should receive better service based on the premium prices you charge.

I absolutely jumped for joy when I realized a new alternative for my daughter's uniform. Possibly competition will allow you to better service your remaining customers.

Sincerely,

I have never written a complaint before but I've had it with Flynn & O'hara. First of all, they are way overpriced. I'll start with the gym uniforms. Every t-shirt I buy is a different shade. The sweatpants are too long and skinny. They look ridiculous. The seams always split. The sweatshirts have a weird shape. If you wear a small in other brands, you have to get a large from Flynn & o'hara because they shrink a lot. The gym shorts are either too short or too long. They also are always a different shade. The black dress pants that are mandatory are DRY CLEAN ONLY! Who the has time to dry clean school pants? I called Flynn & O'hara and they told me they can be washed. Well, I tried that and they look awful. The wrinkles won't come out. The brand new sweaters are falling apart after a few washes! They have a lot of nerve charging those ridiculously high prices for such poor quality clothing. Walmart's clothing is better quality than Flynn & O'hara.

Unorganized, dysfunctional, inept are a few words for this place. It took 25 minutes for them to wait on two customers that were only there to pick up their order. I timed it as I was waiting with about 15 people in front of me. One person was handling orders and returns. Any complaint was met with scorn and scoffed at.
For a store that's been doing this for forty years you would think it would be a smooth process but it is by far one of the worst shopping experience you will ever have.
When I asked why it was so unorganized they told me it was their busy season. Hardly an excuse when they've been doing it for forty years.
They have a captive audience and they couldn't care less about you or anyone else.
Do yourself a favor if you can by uniforms anywhere else...DO IT !
Absolutely clueless.

I've been here three times out of necessity and had a horrible experience every time. They are absolutely understaffed, inexperienced, overpriced and overall inefficient. The student workers have no interest in helping anyone. They giggle and talk amongst each other and when you ask them for help, they say they are working with someone else. This has happened each time I haven been in there. They wait time has always been 2+ hours even when I go in there knowing exactly what I need to get. If I had any other option, I would not set foot in this place ever again and would warn against anyone else doing so for the sake of sanity. With all the money they are ripping out of our pockets, you would think they would have the courtesy to hire permanent workers with some customer service skills to provide a pleasant experience. HATE THIS PLACE!

The customer service is atrocious. I waited outside for 3.5 hours only to be told that my child's school didn't uniform was out at that location. Then a lady that works there yelled obscenities at me and my 4yr old daughter because we could not fit through the door and then to top it off I order her uniforms and was told it would be there in 5-7 business days only to call today to be told it would not be there for another 4-6 weeks. SHAME on this company and especially this location. I hope it fails miserable. I will be going to my local news station about this!

My children and I had the worst experience ever at the Flynn & O'hara store in Fairfax, VA. My 8 Year old child was deliberately elbowed by another customer, whose child works there. While i was confronting the woman, one of the employees told me i was making a scene and didn't even ask if my child was ok. The manager never came to talk to me and when I approached her to let her know i had called the police she was talking to the other woman, and actually told me to dissuade me that the other woman was going to press charges on me. The manager didn't ask about my child and i'm pretty sure snuck out the woman that hit my child through the back door or at least turn her head the other way.
