ER Solutions Unprofessional behavior

Just a quick note concerning ER Solutions AKA ConvergentUSA. I was asked by a friend of mine to post her experience regarding ER Solutions. She called me this morning asking me to track down the owner of a phone number [protected]). She had received a phone call from a company telling her she owed money to Dish Network. The caller DID NOT IDENTIFY herself NOR the company she worked for (problem #1). Somehow, ER Solutions or Convergent was able to track down my friend's UNLISTED phone number which she got a few years after ending her Dish Network service (problem #2). After speaking to the caller and explaining that she did not owe Dish Network anything my friend asked me to find the owner of the above phone number. I googled it and found that it was used by ER Solutions a company with a lot of complaints and bad reviews. A caller from a legitimate company would have identified themselves and who they represent. Hopefully they won't be calling again to harass her anymore.

i am a grown woman and live on my own and apparently i have a debt and they thought it was ok to call my parents home number and harass them. I dont know how they got the number but i think it should be against the law to call a number that wasnt given to them for my billing issues. i am very aggervated with them because i havent heard any phone calls on my number.

ER Solutions continues to harass with automated calls at all hours. Difficult to get them on the phone to stop them. They are calling me to harass for a collection in error for Dish Network. Shame on Dish Network for using the agency. I am not the person they are looking for and have never heard of such a person. They should be banned and fined.

This company has been calling without leaving messages for my daughter. We've repeatedly told them that she doesn't live here, but they continue to call as if we can produce her and force her to call them.

I had an alledged debt that passed the 7 year mark and was removed from my credit report. A representative has called me
multiple times since my debt has been removed and no longer
exists. The rep stated that it is still on my credit report as of
01/04/2008. This is criminal act of fraud which I plan to report
to the proper authorities of jurisdiction.

The people who work for this company are rude and threatening. Demanding that I take out a payday loan to pay my phone bill. When I explained that I was diagnosed with uterine cancer and was out of work for 3 months I was rudely told that they don't want to hear about my personnel problems and just pay! I asked them how they sleep at night and promptly hung up!

ER Solutions SCAM

Today I received an alleged collection settlement offer letter from ER Solutions, Inc.. They say that I owe the creditor: Cri Purchasing Corp $337.14 and that the settlement offer is for 50% of this amount $168.57 and must be paid to them within 14 days. The letter looks pretty legit and they provide a return envelope as well.
There are a couple fallacies though.
1) There are 3 different addresses printed on the letter. One is: ATERSO01, PO Box 1022, Wixom, MI 48393. The 2nd is: ER Solutions, Inc., 10750 Hammerly Blvd #200, Houston, TX 77043. The 3rd is: T-[protected]-T50, E R Solutions, Inc., PO Box 9004, Renton, WA 98057.
2) I just recently within the past couple of weeks received and printed out my credit reports from ALL 3 of the credit reporting agencies, which I do usually 1-2 times a year, to make sure the information is accurate on them and to make sure that identity theft has not occurred. Guess what? THERE IS NO SUCH CREDITOR, NOR THIS CREDIT CHARGE AMOUNT, LISTED ON ANY OF MY 3 CREDIT REPORTS. I thought as much because I have never heard of Cri Purchasing Corp in my life. Not to mention that I just finished paying off the last little debt that was still on my credit reports.
3) The phone number listed is printed right next to the name a supposed representative of the company, a Jennifer Peden (may or not be her actual name), and that number is [protected]
THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM! I AM REPORTING THEM TO THE FTC AND TO THE FEDS! My advice is to get recent copies of your credit reports so you can double check this alleged credit charge before even considering actually paying anything.

I just received a letter and immediate went to check my credit report. Of course the name of either Convergent or Cri is NOT on there and neither is the amount that they are claiming I owe. If it IS for Washington Mutual Bank then that debt of mine is from the early 90's and I doubt that I would be owing that anymore. Besides I think I put that debt on my Bankruptcy back in 2000.
Total Scam. I'm NOT paying it.

My husband received a similar letter today from Convergent on behalf of Cri Purchasing Corp and I called Convergent but got disconnected before anyone would answer any questions. I called back and found out Cri was trying to collect on a debt I had that I payed off 10 years ago. It was just a letter, no back side, no nothing, and I know I never received anything from Cri, this is the first time I've heard of them. My husband and I recently got copies of our credit reports and that old debt isn't even on there anymore, let alone this Cri place.

I recently received a letter stating that "healthcare associates incorp" were collecting a balance from me on behalf of  Gw university hospital. I've never been to this hospital let alone live there.

So I called the number listed because one they used my madian name and this seemed fishy. The lady I spoke to said to send all my info to her and the address that was listed. The address listed is out of wixom. I googled the address and numerous posts from others saying this is a fraudulent scam etc. They listed different companies. Some were even medical names. There are two different address on this statement.

The letter looks real but the back side of the statement isn't like normal statements.

The return address was
Onnacc02
Po box1022
Wixom mi

The other was
" the Gw university hospital"

ER Solutions fraudulent debt aquisition

To whom anyone who has received a letter of debt collection from this company:

I have to bring to the attention of free minded people has received a letter from this company in the form of debt collection to please investigate before paying. I received a letter from them today that said that they were trying to collect a debt tranferred to them from Asset Recovery Solutions. I contacted Asset Recovery before i called ERS and (A.R.S.) plainly said they never had any customer account info on me in the form of owed debt in their systems.

This has fell into my lap from doing weeks of investigation leading me into circles. A public record on my credit bureau showed a bad decision made by me from me when i was 19 years old back in 1996. The original debtor was Spirit of America National Bank which went out of business early 2010. i had a delinquency in 2002 with SOANB and paid the debt off in spring 2002 in the form of a settelement that was offered to me for 40% less than what the balance was originally with full documentation to prove a zero balance. Spirit of America National Bank Customer account balance aquisition to World Financial network national bank happened in Jan, 2010. My account info should have never been transferred given it was paid, right? Well it was, I never once received a statement of debt collection from WFNNB but it reported to my bureau last year that i had a zero balance but since has been removed.

WFNNB told me i had a current zero balance and really didnt understand why they had it to begin with, but they sold all accounts to Assett Recovery Systems in april 2010 then the accounts was aquisitioned to ER Systems LLC. now somewhere inbetween WFNNB, ARS and ERS my balance grew from a zero to over $100.00 So all free minded, critical thinking people out there know what has happened here. In My Opinion its Fraud on a corporate level from the first aquisition of accounts in 2002. The F.T.C., B.B.B. and a forensic accounting firm have been notified of this along with equifax, transunion and experian to do their own investigation.. I have recorded conversations with customer service reps. telling me what they seen on their work computers as paid off debt along with paper statements matching "cashed" checks from 2002 with SOANB stamps on back i have made for payment. So i hope the liable party will be held accountable for fraudulent acts of past debt manipulation and ones in the process of now becuase this is un justified.

Before you jump to conclusions that you may be debt free becuase of a letter from any of these mentioned parties do your home work, there may be a chance you do owe but if your a responsible adult who handles all debt and have a paper trail proving otherwise always question all involved debt collectors and hope your paper trail matches up to your credit bureau to the first time debt was paid in full..

We received a collection notice from ER Solutions claiming we owe them $1, 509.54 since 2008. I called them to ask for information, of course, they were very rude, would not answer any questions of any sort. only thing told was from a bank and to pay. I tried explaining to them that we don't recall or have any accounts through Chase Bank, hopefully, that thy would of suggested something to get to the bottom of this and Nothing. I called Chase Bank and the branch manager was nice enough to do research with our church and other churches that have accounts of sort through Chase Bank and found NOTHING against our church or any other for that fact.

They call my home phone number daily (two or three times a day) leaving messages for some unknown person at this residence. It is a recorded message and there is no way to speak with anyone.
When I tried calling the number on my caller ID to complain and explain that they have the wrong number, all I get is voice mail and no resolution to my problem good or bad, except for the continuation of the phone calls.
Note: during the phone call, they give you the opportunity to "press one if this is the wrong number and not the person we are trying to reach": I press "one" each time, all the time, and the phone calls continue. Can someone help me as to how to stop this, other than getting my phone number changed? Sandy

On November 7, 2007, an employee of ER Solutions by the name of Keith Davis has been calling my job, non-stop. When he failed to contact me by telephone, he called the main line to my job and asked the receptionist for me. When she told him I wasn't in and offered my voice mail, he became angry and asked to speak with my supervisor or office manager. This is against the Law. When he was told that the office manager was not in the office at the time, my receptionist offered him her voice mail and he became angry and began to question when the office manager would be in, when the receptionist told him that she didn't know but could only offer her voice mail he became angry and slammed the phone down. On November 8, 2007 he called the receptionist again, our receptionist answered the phone as she is required by saying the company name. Without identifying himself, Mr. Davis asked her what her name was, her response was "you called me, this is a company, who would you like to speak with?" His response was "I didn't ask you that, what is your name!" She gave the name and he said "nice try... (he called her by my name) and slammed the phone down". I will not let this go. Mr. Davis fails to understand he is calling a law firm that is now very upset with his harassing calls. All of the calls have been documented. He has now put ER Solutions on the line of a law suit.

Received a phone message and letter addressed to a name similar to mine (but not the same) claiming I have "negative balance of $427.03" with Paypal Inc., offering to settle for 50% of the balance due. This isn't me; my Paypal balance is $0.
This appears to be a scam. The Paypal site directed me to your website to report it.

RE ERS Solutions FAKE debt collector out of houston, TX,
You can check with your local phone company, or cell. Most have provisions
for blocking an incoming call so it does not get thru. This is the only way
I have found to deal with this fraudulent company. They will not stop
calling and conversations with them are useless.

This is beyond harassment. The following is a detailed list of how often they have called over an approx 2 week period and from 2 different numbers:
#[protected] Oct. 11, 2011 6:14pm, 6:27pm, 6:42pm, 6:59pm Oct. 13, 2011 5:45pm, 6:02pm, 6:18pm, 6:38pm
#[protected] Oct. 19, 2011 7:39pm Oct. 20, 2011 7:35pm Oct. 21, 2011 11:57pm Oct. 24, 2011 3:30pm Oct. 25, 2011 11:46am, 11:52am, 12:04pm, 12:16pm Oct. 26, 2011 3:16pm Oct. 27, 2011 11:35am, 11:47am, 12:00pm, 12:14pm, 12:27pm, 12:44pm, 12:56pm, 1:08pm. All of these call are being made to my cell phone which is on the Do Not Call list both with the State of Florida and the Federal Government. I truly believe this is an unnecessary amount of calls especially the same day calls over and over. I am now looking into alerting my state attorney general. I have heard of cases where the harassing company, even if trying to collect a valid debt has had to pay for making so many phone calls. After what I have read on the Internet about this company, it seems the debts they are trying to collect in most cases are fraudulent. I refuse to change my number because of their unlawful activity. I have even tried to have their number blocked through my carrier to no avail. Be very wary if you start getting calls from this company, as you can tell by my account, they will progressively get worse and more frequent.

Hello, my name is Attorney Joseph A. Mullaney, III. I represent Pennsylvania and New Jersey consumers against companies that mis-program their computers to call the "wrong person." I have found that the only way these companies change their policies is to be hit in the pocketbook. If you have a residential (non-business) telephone number receiving unlawful consumer debt collection telephone calls, you may have a cause of action. Did you know that you may be entitled up to $1000.00 under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, 15 U.S.C. 1692, et seq. and another $1500.00 for each automated (prerecorded or artificial) telephone call under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, 47 U.S.C. 227, et seq.?

If you wish to speak about your matter, please email me. If we agree that professional representation is warranted, I represent consumers without any upfront costs or attorneys fees. Instead, they will be deducted from your recovery and/or awarded by the court against the defendants. Other terms and conditions apply. I hope to hear from you soon because there are important statute of limitations governing your possible action.

ER Solutions Collections Fraud

ANYONE INTERESTED IN FILING A CLASS ACTION SUIT?
Please post on this website or reply if possible

It seems like they are intentionally enducing the victim (the alleged Debtor) into settling for a balance owed that does not exist with the original creditor.

I'm no lawyer (I'm actually a 2nd yr law student) but I know a fraud when I see one. It looks like we have all been harmed by ER Solutions in a similar way, enought to justify combining all of our claims and one claim for relief (injunction, compensatory and punitive damages) against the fraud that ER Solutions is committing and the ongoing misrepresentations that a debt is owed as exemplified by each separate phone call and letter that everyone has received.

This is what I believe is the fraud: ER Solutions buys a client list, whether or not a debt is owed, they generate an amount due and claim that it is a balance due from the 'original creditor' Paypal. So when they attempt to collect they know you won't pay in full, that you will claim that nothing is due, but they will turn around and offer you a settlement at 60% or lower with the anticipation that you will believe it is not worth it and pay it, thus making their profit.

What I find suspicious is that Paypal never claimed a balance due, ER Solutions just appeared. So has this happened to anyone as well?

Is there anyone who would be interested in pursuing this? Should I start a forum? put an ad on craigslist (re: ER Solutions Fraud) and get this centralized? The reason being is that to do this one of us, or a chosen representative (any of us victims) would have to contact an attorney and provide detailed factual information along with proof that ER Solutions's claims are unsubstantiated and we have the documents to prove it.

This is my plight:

I just received a letter from ER Solutions claiming that I owe $166 for a Paypal debt, funny thing is, my address is partially incorrect, they added an apartment number... Ilive in a house and recently checked all of my transactions in the past 3 years and no money is owed to paypal.

There are a few thing I found out we have to do before we can move forward. I will put a letter together that will be supported by the Consumer Credit Protection Act. As soon as I have it done, I will post it, and anyone will be welcome to use it against ER Solutions in their own response. If the problem still persists where they are continuing to pursue with their 'debt collection' and depending on the number of people that get interested in this, then we can see if it will be feasible to do.

I am in if there's a class action suit. I have a PayPal account, but nothing is owed. Years ago, I had an outstanding balance due, but it was paid in full. Now, I am getting these letters demand $157.87 from Convergent Outsourcing at [protected] or to pay at www.payconvergent.com. I've emailed Paypal several times for verification, but haven't received a response. I wonder if someone hacked into their system and got personal info. from users in order to send out these bogus demand letters?

I just got a letter from Convergent Resources, Inc, a subsidiary of ER Solutions saying I owe $5, 995.77 but will take $899.37 on a Providian Credit card that I used to but a "Set it and forget it" roaster for 4 easy payments of 29.95. That was 12 years ago! The statute of limitations in Texas on credit card debt is 4 years. 12 years later they want over $5000 to cook a chicken?

I just got a letter from ER Solutions...There's no description of the original creditor or original debit info, It's just a settlement offer, Funny thing is...any possible debt they could possibly be collecting on has been paid. I have been repairing my credit on my own by paying debts and settling accounts. There was a lot of activity on my credit report for the last 4 months because once I paid an account off, I disputed it to immediately get the info updated...I compared it with debts from as far back as 1997 and I cannot confirm that this is my debt. I recently settled another account with them so I'm thinking, they used my info to conjure up this bogus account...See I volunteered to pay the actual debt owed before..they didn't contact me, I reached out to them to pay my bill after so long.I definitely believe that this current letter is fraudulent...I will take part of a suit against them! absolutely! contact me: angieb108@juno.com

I am interested if you decide to file a class action lawsuit. These guys have been harassing and threatening myself and my family over a car accident they say I did, which I was never even involved in and had nothing to do with. They have suspended my license for the last year and refuse to reinstate it even with paperwork from the courts sent over to them. Please email me at iMahLyssahi@aol.com if this matter makes it far enough.

I agree with everyone here. ER solutions sent me a letter back in jan and told me I owe them 408 for a creditor named paypal. I don't use paypal and double checked with paypal to make sure I don't have any accounts out there. They stated no I do not and I have the letter. When I contacted ER solutions and told them they were full of it that I don't owe paypal I dont even have an account the lady Dorthy Tucker stated on its now for a different account. Now this makes no sense. They call all the time and I do not talk to them on the phone I hang up on them. I told them I will not talk to them and if they have anything to say put it in writing. I have asked for proof of what they are talking about and they never it sent it to me. They are a scam and they can blow it out there butts.
Harrassment is against the law and they seem to fail to understand that.

Well, credit bureaus show inquires from them, so they have all my information. I'd love to just ignore it, but I don't know what kind of power they have to ruin my credit. Anyone have an idea? I have searched the internet with no luck.

ER Solutions How Do These People Legally Send Letters, Do they get paid to be STUPID!!!!

I received a letter stating that the records of Paypal, Inc. show that I am past due in the amount of $1400.00. Then it stated that their client was willing to settle for 50% of the balance to clean up my debt! I called Paypal because I do have a credit card with them and all they could tell me was my account was not behind, had never been behind and my balance had never been $1400.00! I have not even activated my renewal card they sent me 4 months ago. Then I go to this www.erspay.com where the letter states you can go, they give you a temporary ID number to sign in. Guess what the first thing they ask for is? The last 4 digits of your social security number. They do this so when you call they will have the last 4 digits of your SS number and try to use that against you! This company is a fraud, you can not get anyone to ever answer and it says that you can't leave a message because the voice mail is full...CREAPS

Just received call from ER Solutions on a "so called" debt supposedly from 2005! I checked them out with the Washington State Licensing Collection Agency board, and in May of 2011, ER Solutions were fined $2000 for harassment and communicating to a 'debtor' more than 3 times in a single week. Keep a paper trail of when they call, frequency of call, any and all threats made by the rep, note any requests that were not sent to you. Get the name of rep and the acct # if you can. Whether you owe on a debt or not, you can still file a complaint. Check out www.dol.wa.gov/business/collectionagency/colboard.html. If all of us who are treated unjustly, file a complaint with them, maybe we can get ER Solutions where it hurts. In THEIR pocketbook. Legal name to check on ER Solutions is ER Solutions, Inc.

I called erspay I had asked for Charlynn Forte? The gentlemen told me I could talk to him about my case. So he looked me up and found my account, he asked me how I am going to pay the account to satisfy it! I asked gim if I could make arrangements, pay 200.00 and then next month pay the remainder. He told me lady? What do you think this is! It is a debt owed! and we need full payment. he was raising his voice at me so I hung up.
On my letter it states :
Even if you are unable to take advantage of this offer, please contact me to see what terms can be worked out on your account.
But the man was rude and made me feel like I didnt need to talk ti him anymore. So I am trying to pay this without him being involved.

I received something in the mail from them claiming that i owe fifth third bank $412.96 so i contacted the bank and told them the letter that i had received in the mail. I also checked my credit report and it's not on there, and i also noticed that on the letter there is 3 different addresses on it and they offered me a settlement fo 50% off. I checked with the BBB and they have never heard of this company. I am dis-regarding this letter and moving on with my life and i suggest everyone else do the same!

My boyfriend just got one yesterday! With the date 3/16/11 on it saying he owes Chase $198.46. And would also settle for 50% and take $99.23. He has never had a bank account in his life or a credit card! He always uses cash. I thought it might of had something to do with an old hospital bill that was not paid but I looked up the records for that and the bill is much more than 198 and the hospital uses a different collection adgency. The letter says I have 45 days call this Jennifer Peden person at an [protected] number to tell her if I accept the settlement. But the back of the letter says he has 30days to contact ERS. I am glad I found this site first. Now I feel like I don't have anything to worry about. I am still going to try to look into it some more. If anyone firgures it out let us know!

I have also been receiving harrassing phone calls and received a letter stating I owed 5907.75 with Citibank. They will settle for 4135.43. Every year I check my credit report and have never seen anything with a balance owed. Also, I just purchased a vehicle and they ran my credit report and it's all good. This company needs to be turned in for harrassment! I checked with the BBB to see if the company is in their system and it's not! I will not reply to them and if the phone calls keep up I'm filing a complaint with the BBB.

ER Solutions Unethical/Illegal practices

About 3 months ago I got a little over my head in my finances, and I was forced to overdraw my checking account for an emergency. I was in the red $300 Max, probably much less. I received a letter from BOA (the bank I overdrew from) stating that They are closing my account, and that they will send me my remaining balance if there is one, or I need to pay the balance due, if there is any. The letter did not state amounts, and did not specify a date the payment was due. So, now, 3 months later, I get a call from ER Solutions. I explain that I am a full time student, and only work on Saturday and Sunday...blah blah blah, explaining my situation. This lady Jacelyn, then asks me if my Mother LEAVES HER CREDIT CARDS OR CHECKBOOKS AROUND. I say why would you ask that? Oh, WELL IF YOU CAN FIND ONE OF THOSE TWO THINGS, THIS ISSUE CAN BE RESOLVED RIGHT NOW!

Wow...is that not both unethical and ILLEGAL?>?

ER Solutions Scam and cheating

I had a death in the family and in an emergency pulled out more than i had in my checking account. I knew I had to pay it back and would owe the overdraft fee. Before I even I got my next statement (which I was going to use to determine how much i owed after the bank fees) I was getting calls from Er solutions. When I called back to pay the debt, they wouldn't talk to me! It was a joint account and they only showed my husbands name. It took me three hours on the phone with the bank who was also on the line with ER solutions to get the matter corrected! They were so rude. I understand that the money was owed and that some people can come up with some horrible excuses but there is no reason/excuse to be rude to people they are dealing with for the first time. Being rude won't make the money i owe magically appear out of nowhere. I only hope that the people that work there are never in a situation where they owe someone after a family emergency.

Update: I answered the phone this morning and had a lady ask to speak with me. She then asked me to confirm the last 4 of my SSN, and I asked who was calling? She said "Amber." I told her I didn't know anyone named Amber and she needed to be a little more specific before I talked to her. When I asked who she was 3 more times, she continued to say "Amber" until I finally asked who she was representing. She then told me ER Solutions, and I told her I never heard of her company but when I found out who they were I would contact their state attorney's office for harassment charges if she contacted me again. Then, I hung up as she was saying "Well, since obviously I have found the right person..."

I have had tons of missed calls from ER solutions. I finally picked up the phone today. The lady was very rude... She wanted me to verify my social security # and my address. When I told her no, she tried to tell me I had to... I told her I don't give that info to strangers, and I asked her to hold on while I looked up her company up online. She promptly hung up the phone. I tried to re-dial back the number and a machine answered. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION!

Same thing with me. My letter and calls say I owe over $5500, yet "Paypal" has agreed to settle for 50% of the total. The actual debt I left in my account was $34 for a fraudulent chargeback Paypal allowed after I stopped selling on eBay.
They are usually a third tier debt collector (after a main collection fails) buying debts in massive batches from companies like Paypal for pennies on the dollar, and when they collect 10% then they are tripling their money. Their records get tangled in the data shifts from Paypal according to what I read here and my own experiences.
First, they can't collect what they can't prove you owe.
Second, even if they are convinced you owe it, they do back off when you mention the SOL in your state. Since you are not dealing with Paypal, you are no longer required to abide by California statutes. This is a third party collector, and they must abide by your state laws, and petition the court in your state.
To report a delinquent account to a credit bureau, there must be a petition against you to collect the debt within the SOL timeframe in your state. If the court proceedings begin during the SOL, then it may go on your credit report for 7 years. If their court petition is 1 day past the SOL, tell them to kiss off. They can't touch you, your money, or your credit score.

Damn! My paypal account was hacked 8 years ago, and fradulent charges made. Luckily, my bank took care of it and settled the issue (no loss on my part). Ever since, I've never used Pay Pal. Today, I get a mail from ER solutions that I owe a half grand on my Pay Pal account! What kind of BS is this? How is this business not being investigated? Regardless, I'll have to call to settle. I do NOT look forward to this call. I suspect there will be a lot of shouting and swearing.

Received a phone call from them claiming I owe ~$700. Ten years ago when I had a PayPal account, it's login credentials were somehow (still not sure how) fraudulently obtained and my account's login e-mail address was changed. I only noticed because I happened to check my bank account's activity and it showed ~$600 worth of pending withdrawals. PayPal at that time refused to help me saying I did not possess the login e-mail for them to look up the account (the one that someone else had changed!).

So I called PayPal and they did their b.s. "inquiry" and of course found no fraudulent activity, even though there were numerous transactions recounted to me by the rep for things such as money transfers to a production company and for online poker (ironically, I don't even know how to play poker).

Still trying to figure out the best approach. ### PayPal.

Ha. I've been getting calls about this due to an "overdraft" of paypal charges from 2000 or something stupid. I told the lady she's crazy. I couldn't possibly have a negative balance in my account and even if I did, TEN years ago I'm sure I would have been contacted. I still have the account! They sent me a letter which still says nothing about the charges but offers me all sorts of ways in which I can pay for it. I just want to know how they got my name, number and address since I'm unlisted. That's the only reason I even listened to them in the first place.
It also has the whole bid about accepting 50% of the balance, etc, etc.
The address on the paper is PO BOX 9004, Renton, WA 98057.
The address I got from HOOVERS, a reliable business information source says their address is 800 SW 7th St.,
Ste. A100, Renton, WA 98055
The website is also different. Please be weary people!

I don't think PayPal has anything to do with this. It's just a convenient company to use because millions of people have PayPal accounts and if only 10% are stupid enough to not understand that this is fraud on the part of ERS, then ERS will collect a lot of money.

Believe me, I deal with customers online every day and more than 10% are that stupid.

ER Solutions Harassment by Emily Walsh

I received a call from Emily Walsh (real name unknown) - Extension 2582, of ER Solutions at work regarding a bill in collections. I didn't immediately recognize the telephone number she referred to but after a while realized that it must be a number that I released to my sister last year some time. This is my complaint:
1. Emily Walsh was adamant that the debt was incurred by me. I called the company to whom the debt was owed and discovered that this debt was not tied to me at all but that my telephone number was listed as an additional contact phone number.
2. I answered all of Emily's questions honestly and asked her to call me back the next day allowing me time to contact my sister and the company to whom the debt was owed. As I gathered the information, I called Emily back as I had promised. Emily, rather than offer up proof of her position continuously insulted both my sister and I. Granted, we do act like dumb bunnies on occasion however my request for supporting documentation and proof of responsibility for this debt are not unreasonable requests.
3. Emily's response was nothing more than insults and threats.

It's tragic but I believe Emily to be ethically, emotionally and intellectually challenged . I suppose debt collector is a proper choice for her.

Good luck to you Emily in your career of choice. It is an admired and respected position which requires immense tact and skill. I wonder if you are one of their best and how they must compensate you for all of your good work. Your parents must be so proud.

Do not ever pay a debt that is beyond the statue of limitations. Each state is different I believe but here in Michigan it is 6 years. DO NOT agree to anything as far as making payment arrangements. It is recorded and can be used as an acceptance to the debt and they can harass you into paying up. Legally there is nothing they can do to you. Just try and intimidate you into paying. I had one called Afni trying to collect a 15 year old debt. I found an attorney online who sued them after I sent them a cease and desist letter and they still called. Once they get that letter they are not supposed to call you again. I got a small settlement but it was worth it. Called payback.

I also agree. My debt was with DELL and was paid in full in June 2009. Now I am getting letters and calls from ERS saying they want the money AGAIN! This is the last straw. Everyone in my situation should do as I am doing. File a small claims court case for $5, 000 in an attempt to force better bookkeeping records and less clerical errors with a result in demanding a second payment in full. DON'T FORGET TO ALSO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION. http://www.ftc.gov/ https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/ or by mail if you prefer at:

I always work on large amounts with my personal banker and have great ACH transaction histories to rely on. I was going to be nice and provide ERS with this payment information after getting in touch with DELL Financial, but DELL would not take my calls and their reply to me though E-MAIL was that I had to deal with ERS to finalize another payment. CAN YOU SAY INCOMPETENCE? FRAUD? COERSION?

I've been getting harassing calls from ERS Solutions, on a daily basis for a bill that of 300.00t that they say that I owe BOA. First of all this account with BOA was closed because of insufficient funds after I lost my job due to me being diagnosed with arithritis on the spine and could no longer work in the healthcare field as a CNA(certified nurse assistant). I told ERS that I would make a payment when I received some on a particular day, but they insisted that I use a friend or family member checking acct. information to setup a post-dated payment through their financial institution, at other times they have yelled at me saying that I should sell blood to get the money, and just being darn right rude, and making comments to me that by not using someone else's banking information to settle my debt is refusing to pay it off. ER Solutions ER Solution's constant harassment and invasion of my privacy!

*This forwarded message was sent to the Human Resources Department at ER Solutions in Renton, WA (see below). Good luck to everyone who has to deal with ER Solutions!* Please see below. This message was sent to KOMO 4 News in Seattle and to one of your employees who posted a message on the Internet in response to multiple consumer complaints about your services. This email will also serve as written notification that the phone number XXX is NOT the phone number for Charles A. Warner. There is no Charles A. Subject: ER Solutions - Please Warn Consumers!
To: "[protected]@komo4news.com"
Cc: [protected]@hotmail.com

My name is Carol Warner and I've been receiving calls from a debt collection agency called ER Solutions (see below for company address/contact info). I recommend that you Google ER Solutions to verify the many complaints against their debt collection practices.

First off, I have no outstanding debts and never have. However, I receive several calls each day from ER Solutions. This has been going on for at least the past year. Apparently, they are trying to collect a debt from a "Charles A. Warner". There is no one in our family with that name.

ER Solutions leaves a message on our answering machine stating that they are at "[protected]". Today the message left by a "Kelly Smith" at ER Solutions gave me the opportunity to enter a number if I was not the individual they were trying to contact. The message then stated that if I did not enter the number given, then I was acknowledging that I was indeed Charles A. Warner. Of course, as I am at work, I have never had the opportunity to press that button. I've called their 1-800 number several times and left messages saying I am not the party they are looking for and have never gotten a response.

Last Saturday, an individual with ER Solutions showed up at our place of residence trying to serve legal papers on the individual owing the debt, the apparently elusive and mysterious "Charles A. Warner". My husband told them that there was no one with that name residing here, and that there were no members of our family with that name. He left without further questions. I had hoped that this visit would end the harassing calls, but I received another message (see above) from ER Solutions today, 2/29/08. I then looked up ER Solutions on the Internet and found to my dismay the many complaints lodged against them. Needless to say, I was alarmed at what I found. Here is a post from an employee at ER solutions to various consumer complaints:

Comment posted by Nicolette Craig on 07/27/2007:

I plan on checking my credit report and lodging a complaint with the appropriate agencies. I will also sue them if it comes to that. I am a law abiding citizen and do not appreciate ER Solution's constant harassment and invasion of my privacy. I believe this is a story worth investigating and warning others about. Please do what you can. Your attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help,

Carol A. Warner

One word; [censor]s! They called me out of the blue stating that I owe someone $2, 200 from 8 years ago. When I stated I have no idea, the rep says "You know you do." This is hilarious. :) And then the lady hang up the phone on me. When I called back, I asked for them not to call me again. And she says, "We will call you as long as you owe us." and I stated that I do not owe them and do not even know what they're talking about. And then I said, "Why would you call me if you are going to hang up on me?" She was not following my argument and hang up again.

This company is a joke and full of people with IQ deficiency.

I think you whiners just need something to talk about, i agree that some debt collectors are rude, but have you ever thought about your tone on the other end that caused the allergic reaction. You customers are very agressive and rude as well even when debt collectors attempt to be nice. also debt collectors make more money by accident than you do by your professional degrees. So why don't all of us make this world a better place and just treat others as we all want to be treated. and stop rendering railings for railings.even little
kids can get along with each other. get a life consumers and debt collectors, and stop causing trouble.because
i guarantee you what ever you sow you will reap. also you don't have to sell youself on how educated you are, because if you were that educated, you wouldn't be tampering with things that don't concern you. for the guy that made the ulgy comment about a homeless person, i decree you will be homeless one day, then you'll think about what you said, you're not above anyone, it's a matter of fact you are beneath because only stan tries to exalt himself, i guess because he has low self-esteem. There's a way you can address all of this without
trying to put someone down. all of you that have written ulgy words about each other or debt collectors, it will come back 100 fold on you. So Stop the drama and instead of one person telling debt collectors to get a real Job, how about you get a real life and ask Jesus to come into your hearts all of you, I love you all

I just got a message from ER solutions today for the first time. I don't have any debts that I know of, and I just had a credit check run recently (2 months ago). My credit score is high, so I don't think there's a random payment somewhere that I forgot to make. I would assume it was a mistake, but the name in the message was mine, and I don't have a common name. I probably only share it with a handful of people. I tried to call the number they left, which was [protected], but the number is just a busy signal. Does anyone who has been dealing with them have advice? If I have a debt, I want to pay it, and if not I don't want to keep hearing from them.

ER Solutions Extremely rude collection practices!

I had a U.S. Cellular account go into collections. I knew it would ultimately go to collections, which is fine, I had some bad customer service with U.S. Cellular after years of contracts with them, which I deemed unfair. But that's another story. ER Solutions is now making attempts to collect this debt. This started in early December. I have had about 80% extremely rude collections people call me, but today's really topped it off.

Some girl (forgot her name, but without being politically incorrect, let's just say a girl of Mexican heritage, and judging by the dialog, from the inner city), calls me at work today and before I can even say one word, launches into a spiel about how she has 2 kids and no boyfriend or husband and a job, and how she could pay a debt with no problem. She called me "ridiculous" and tried to further demean me after I told her I would be paying $25 towards the debt today, which I believe she called "worthless." I wasn't able to understand some of the other comments she was attempting to make. After telling me numerous times that she was "sick of your excuses" (which is funny, cuz this is the first time I've spoken to this particular person), she hung up on me.

I've explained to every person I've talked with that all of my money is currently being paid to hospitals, doctor's, and specialists, to keep my son (who was born 3 months pre-mature) alive. Which the absolute truth.

I know I can't do much about this. I have called and spoke with a manager at ER Solutions, but he seemed to just be humoring me by listening to my complaint (which was only that the above mentioned girl was extremely rude, and please don't have her call me anymore).

I googled the company and the 2nd and 3rd search results were these complaint boards, so I thought I would post my experience.

Thanks,
Brad.

My experience with ERS has to do with a college dept. I couldn't make a payment on it and talked to the accounts manager at the college about how I had to pay for my clutch to be rebuilt. I offered to take in the receipt for the work done from the mechanic shop and she said no need to because I called and spoke with her instead of just skipping it. I also offered to make a double payment the following month because I was recieving enough work to do so. She said that would be great.

Well, 7 days later I get a very rude phone call from an ERS rep and he was supposedly the head of the College Loans department of ERS Collections. He flat out told me if I don't pay off my bill to them (ERS) by that day that my $375.71 left on my bill would become a total of $1500.00 and that they would put a judgement on me to be able to take it out of my paychecks. He didn't even give me a chance to answer that yes this is Russell.

I told him to go ahead and try it that I am self employed (the truth) and un liscensed because in my state, I don't have to be if I make under a certain amount in one quarter; Yes, I pay my taxes.

Then he got even more beligerent with me when I asked him for a certified mailed copy of there harassment policies. By Federal Law they have to provide you with a certified copy if asked. If they do not provide one then you can counter sue. Well, he hung up on me and then called me back and told me if I wanted a certified copy then I would have to pay off my bill and hung up on me again.

After googling ERS Collections, I went to there website and the head of that department isn't even a male. It is a female. So, I am thinking about calling back and asking her for a certified copy of there policies regarding people who owe and asking her why I haven't even recieved a letter from them letting me know that my account has been referred to them. Yes, no letter just a phone call out of the blue.

Same experience with this company. Rude man repeatedly called me at work. Demeaning and obnoxious. Said I was in denial about my credit situation. Supervisor was unconcerned with his phone manners. When I did pay the debt, it was not reported to credit bureaus for ayear. When I wantedd to add a line to my phone service, the same debt came back. It took a month to get a confirmation letter from ERS. By that time I had already repaid the bill to Cingular,so I could get a phone for my Father.

ER Solutions Illegal practices

I owe money to Key Bank because of some high fees that I was charged. I set up a payment for $50.00 and said I could possibly pay the balance off in 2 weeks. The woman I spoke with said just to call back before the payment date if I needed to change it. I called back two days before that date because I realized there was no way I could pay $345.00. I called just to change it to $5o - not to cancel it entirely. The short story is she told me no I couldn't do that - told me to call back and talk to a supervisor and hung up on me. I called back and asked for a supervisor and got a 'lead' - she was very mean - told me no and that I had to pay it - tried to make me feel bad for not paying it all - I told her specifically I could give her $5.00 if that was all I could afford and that I learned that in my debt management meetings - she told me to "debt manage this". I told her it was illegal to harass me. She then told me to hold on and transferred me where someone who was a little nicer who changed my payment amount.

Everyone needs to be aware of their rights. They can not force you to pay more than you can pay. If they threaten to put it on your credit report - if it is in collections - it is already on your credit report. Yelling at you and harassing you is illegal. My friend used to work for a collection agency - she said it is very common for them to use fake names and to just transfer you around the office if you ask for a supervisor. You should call your current bank manager and explain the situation and have them do a conference call. Make sure you do this before the scheduled payment date!

Being in debt is hard enough - a good company will work with you - not make you feel even worse.

THIS COMPANY WILL PUT FALSE DATES ON YOUR CREDIT REPORT. THIS ALLOWS THEM TO MAKE OLD ACCOUNTS NEW AGAIN AND HURT YOUR SCORE EVEN MORE. THIS IS YET ANOTHER ILLEGAL TACTIC THAT MUST BE EXPOSED AND STOPPED! I UNDERSTAND THAT DEBT IS A PROBLEM FOR MOST PEOPLE BUT YOU SHOULDN'T TAKE ADVANTAGE OF SOMEONES LACK OF LEGAL KNOWLEDGE TO SCARE THEM INTO PAYING ON SOMETHING THAT HAS EVEN BEEN DELETED FROM PAST REPORTS.

ER SOLUTIONS has a very bad reputation for violations of the Fair Debt Collect Practices Act. They frequently engage in illegal activities. They best way to deal with them is report their harassment to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and to your particular state attorney offices in the state where you reside. Or contact a lawyer!

Started getting phone calls from unknown numbers on my mobile phone. It costs minutes to receive calls and make them.

One guy said he was from some "Outsourcing" company. He hung up on me. Turned out in investigation to be E R Solutions.

Today I got a call from 877-341.0006 which I missed. Number is assigned to E R Solutions.

I don't owe any money to anyone and I've never heard of this outfit. No company by this name appears on any of my credit reports either.

I got advice from a friend to send them a certified letter to Post Office Box 9004, Renton, WA 98057 to cease and desist making calls to my mobile number as a violation of the US communications law. And I'm sending that out today.

Everybody who is getting treated like this should do the same.

ER Solutions is continuing to call (5) times in 2 days. They act surprised when I tell them that it is a business and the person they are looking for doesn't work here anymore. When I state that they have called over and over again they say I must not have answered the phone or they wouldn't have called again. Bull they know what their doing and I am going to report them to the BBB.

I keep getting daily phone calls from ER Solutions [protected]. When I answer the phone there is no one there and the phone disconnects. I don't owe any one any outstanding money. Pablo,

This company is a scam they called me as well to tell me that I owed them money on some card from 1999. There are companys that make money from doing all kinds of unethical things, ER Solutions is one of them.

This person is upset because companys like this break laws. It IS harassment to call people who don't own you money or to keep calling people who are not the right people.

People who owe money should pay for sure.

Dear Fred:

First I would like to ask obviously they are calling for a reason, do you have a collection account? Then they are allowed to call you because you're a deadbeat, pay your bills!

Second, if you are stating it's not you, then you need to contact the company stating the account is yours and discuss the details further. Obviously your whisle blowing will only go so far and then the collection account will go on your credit reporting ;).

No, I have nothing to do with ER Solutions, but I happen to know how to search and obviously if you didn't owe any money why would they be calling YOU?

Pablo

They called me this morning. They are now calling themselves "Convergent". First of all, they called my husband's phone looking for me. Then they wouldn't give me any information unless I gave my address and last four. When I told them I wouldn't, the person said, "Well, you're going to want to down the road." (Haha. Yeah right.) Then I asked to be sent a letter, and the person said, "We'll just make a note of it and move on." Sounds super scammy to me.

This company (ER Solutions) calls my cell phone every morning between 9AM-11AM. They never leave a message, and when you call the number back, it says that due to "extremely high call volume" you have to leave a message, but if you hit 0 it informs you the mailbox is full. So that is completely silly you can't even get a hold of someone.

I called the number on ER Solutions company profile, and trying to reach someone but it just rings then I get a voicemail for "ER Solutions" which i hit 0 and try again to reach someone.

This sounds like they're the same kind of scam company as CM Associate Group who are based out of Corona, CA. So here are some tips:

1. If you get told you owe a debt, ask them when the debt occurred, and when the last payment was made. Then find out your statute of limitations for the state it occurred in, and see if they are illegally attempting to collect on a debt that is outside of the range. If it is, tell them flat out.

2. If it's within the limitations, ask them when they purchased the debt, and state you want a certified mail sent to you with the proof of purchase of your debt showing they now own it. If they cannot provide proof, you do not have to pay a dime. You ONLY pay the company that OWNS the debt. If no one owns it, or this company purchased it but won't provide proof, then you can't pay it's that simple.

3. Contact your local attorney general's office immediately. Give them all the harassment information including any dates, times, and more. Why? This tells them that another company is trying to scam and harass people and it gives them something to investigate.

4. Contact your local police department and open a case regarding the harassment. Contrary to what the debt collectors want you to believe, yes your police will get involved. What they will do is begin an investigation with everything you send them, and begin to work with the local PD's in the area the numbers are located from to bring down these people. It will take a long time, but having the report on file helps.

5. MOST IMPORTANT - STOP ALL COMMUNICATION WITH THE COMPANY. Every time you pick up that phone, whether it's to cuss them out or even be polite, you are SHOWING them your weaknesses. These people PREY on you, they listen for when you become calm in your voice, or get angry. They look for what buttons to push, they look to see if your number works, there are many many things and when you pick up that phone you re-open the door. STOP. It's frustrating, it's annoying, it makes you lose sleep, it makes you feel like a victim, yes. But stop all contact IMMEDIATELY. These people would rather pay their phone bill every month on these calls knowing they tricked people into giving them money. If you never pick up and never pay, they will move on. But if you pick up that phone they will go "Hmm this person could be tricked" and then never give up.

6. GET A COPY OF YOUR CREDIT REPORT - You may not owe a debt they are asking for, but if they are saying you owe money, it means you do SOMEWHERE. If you think you do not have any debts, check your credit report immediately for fraud/identity theft. These companies will pull credit reports, see you have debts that are nearing the end of the statute of limitations and that is what they are doing, they are going after those people trying to scam them. Sometimes they will even say it IS a debt you owe but a few phone calls will prove they don't own it as I said. CHECK YOUR REPORT - www.annualcreditreport.com is free.

I hope this helps you all. I have been dealing with another company like this for months now, except the other one claims to have process servers and there are "open law suits" when there aren't. It's how I know so much.

They have called my house for the last 5 days and don't leave a message. When I called back the 425 number it said "We are closed, please call back during normal business hours". It was 11 am. I googled the number and found an 800 number [protected], I asked her politely if they could remove my number. She rudely said, "what's the name", I said, "I don't know because they aren't leaving a message, I just know it's not for me because I don't know any debts." She said, "well how do you expect us to do anything" I said, "I don't know why you have such an attitude when you are the ones calling my house and I don't have an attitude with you. Why don't you type in the number and search for it". She did and said it wasn't there. It was amazing how rude she was right from the start, when all I said was, "Could you please remove my phone number from your system."

I googled some more and found the 800 number above [protected]. When I called this number the lady was very polite, asked for my phone number, verified that it was not my name and told me, "bear with her because if I don't take it off both accounts, you will keep getting calls...okay, I removed it, you wont receive any more calls" Very pleasant and easy.

This number has called my landline countless times and I have traced it via *57, and *69. *57 traces and documents a number so that after the third time criminal charges can be pressed and *69 tells you the last number that called your landline. The last time I actually had a woman named Amber ask me to verify the last 4 of my SSN. I asked her why she had my SSN in the first place and she hung up. Upon googling the number I saw the [protected] number above and called it back asking for "Amber". I was almost as suprised as she was when the same voice that had called me answered saying, "this is Amber". I calmly and respectfully told her that I had traced the number with *57 and would be pressing charges if she did not explain why she had my SSN. She again said to verify the last 4 or we had nothing to talk about. I did not verify and she hung up. The next time she calls my home, I'm calling hers and asking her to verify her street address.

ER Solutions Badgering and threats!

"Ethical - An unblemished regulatory compliance record." Just because your regulatory compliance record is clean doesn't make you ethical. "Using proven strategies and collection techniques to encourage voluntary payment." Um, badgering and threats? "Our founder always reminded us of the golden rule, 'Treat others the way you would want to be treated.' We continue to practice this philosophy today by diligently working to collect the money, but we do so in a tactful, sensitive and humane manner."

Could have fooled me. I guess the founder doesn't have much to do with the company anymore.

My phone bill was sent to this collection agency about a month ago. Since then, representatives from ER Solutions have been making phone calls to my home asking me to pay this debt. I spoke with someone regarding this matter and informed them of my financial situation and that as soon as I'm capable of paying this bill, I will do it promptly. They continued to call at least once a day, sometimes twice leaving message after message. I spoke to another representative and he talked down to me, he was completely inappropriate and he never let me explain my case to him. The call eventually ended with him hanging up on me. The way they've been acting is unlawful. It's harassment and they know it. I've looked up pass complaints and harassment is a continuous problem with this company. Something needs to be done. Thank You!

ER Solutions are a scam and ripoff, they took money off my credit card without authorization, and then when i tried to get them to put the money back with my credit card company on the line with me they transferred us 4 times and tried to say that someone else charged my card when it has never been out of my custody at all. And what person would steal your credit card to pay your own bill( which i had a zero balance to) they were rude and cursing in the back round and still refused to put my money back on my card. Now i have to get a new credit card and start an lawsuit

This company is so unprofessional and rude. I have never been treated so unkindly and condescendingly. They are trying to collect on a 5 year old debt that I had with Washington Mutual. At the time, I was a victim of a scam, Washington Mutual's representatives told me that if I filed a police report, I would not be held responsible but then they turned around and decided that I should pay. At that time, I sent the collections agency a letter, disputing the charge. The dispute was accepted because they never bothered me again. Now, 5 years later Chase wants to collect. I explained all this to the man and he told me that I don't want to pay based on my beliefs and that the bottom line is that I owe this money. He was so rude and I felt like he wasn't even trying to reason with me, instead, he tried to make me feel like and illogical idiot. I'm sorry, but I believe a logical argument works with points and counterpoints. He only had one point and no counterpoints. He just kept repeating the same thing and telling me that he didn't want to go back and forth. He probably did not want to engage in a back and forth argument because he could not, because I was right. I truly hope this company goes out of business!

They call, identify themselves as 'ER Solutions' will not say what they are calling about or anything else until I give them personal information like the last 4 digits of my SS#, or mother's maiden name, or date of birth, or place of birth. I tell them I do not give this information over the phone to ANYONE I do not know. then they say they can't disclose this information and the conversations ends.

they've called at least 20 times over the last month, 6 weeks.

4 weeks ago I kept getting phone calls from Er Solutions. I never answered, So one week later I got letter in mail so I called the number back. They are telling me that I owe money on a Chase checking account from 2003 but they are just now trying to contact me...8 yrs late..WTF.Why would it take this long? The person I talked to I told them I dont remember any account from Chase, so he was going to send me info on this. 3weeks later still have no info. Plus there was no Chase bank here in 2003.Seems fishy.

I hope the person i talked to has to go through hard times and someone from er solutions or another third party recovery calls her and treats her the way i was treated.I am sure that every one they call would pay their bill but as we all no some things in life we can not help i guess the people on the er solutions company yhave all their bills paid and never seen hard times well one day they will be judged by the big man GOd himself then let them answer to him he is the one they need to worry about. these places doctors charge so much that companyies such as er solutions can recover their money and get teir commision and still make money makes no sense to me love thy neighbor dont threaten to take the bread out of his childrens mouth

This company robocalls and/or direct calls me 5-6 times a day harass me about a bill that belongs to someone who doesn't live at my home! I tried to get them to stop by calling the number but they said I am now responsible for this persons debt and because I called them and had continued to listen to their robo-message! The message was left on my machine, but they insist that I am lying and therefore I am now responsible for this bill! They said they will NEVER STOP CALLING ME until I pay them! I no longer answer the phone, but they continue to leave their threatening robocall message repeatedly at least 3 times a day!
