This review was chosen algorithmically as the most valued customer feedback.

I gave pharmacy clerk my prescription for 30, 10 mg tablets and my discount card. She said in a loud voice, " It is against the law to discount this medication" and I said I had received a discount for my previous order for the same medication. She said" I will not give you a discount because I will not break the law"Realizing our interaction was making a scene, I left. I went to Walgreens, they gave me a discount and cost was 1/2 of what CVS charges. I called 3 other pharmacies in our area and all said they give a discount. If clerk had said CVS does not discount this medication any longer I would have understood, saying "it was against the law" made me feel like a criminal!I have shopped at this pharmacy for many years but this kind of treatment made me change my mind

I say a lot of kind things. I just have little use for frivolous complaints like this one.

I had thought they had renamed themselves "cvs health the place to become healthy"?

This board does a lot of good. An outlet for people that have been hurt
by others Actions. It is their interpretation of an event that has happened in their lives. An event that they felt so strongly about that they took the time
To share it with others.

I read a lot of your comments (and there are a lot ). Do you ever say anything
Kind?

I do not work at CVS, no. But I do in fact have not only a high school diploma, and not one, but two degrees, one in history and one in graphics design.

Again, I ask, what is wrong with them selling liquor when you are there buying drugs?

Wow. If you work at cvs I would retract that statement. You can keep the part that my (morality is warped). But the rest is just an injustices to cvs. Just wondering do you have a high school degree?

What is wrong with liquor? Do you not take medications? So you are ok with them selling drugs that can kill you but not liquor? You have a warped sense of morality.

The tech never gave me a chance to say the nice word you write. I was not discussing anything at all with this tech. She voluntary spoke loud and clear, to everyone in ear distance what med I was on.

As I said before she made no attempt whatsoever to keep our conversation confidential. Personally I would never use cvs again.

And getting off the subject I heard that cvs sell liquor in some of its stores. Lol. I thought they wanted there customers to be heathy.

The way to handle this is to discuss it with the tech. It could be the tech is hard of hearing, and was not intentionally trying to disclose your personal information. Just tell her that she is a bit loud and you are concerned over people hearing your business.

And what I was talking about, is when people stand directly behind the customer at the counter like they can not see the sign that tells them to wait until they are called. This also puts the tech at risk of disclosing HIPPA information because the next customer has to be right on the one you are waiting on's ###. When we ask them to step back, they get rude about it. There is a reason we ask people to step back. It is HIPPA.

I can not argue with what you are saying. It took me three reads to understand it. When it happened to me it was spoken loudly by a tech behind the counter to the right. She was no where's near me. And made absolutely no attempt at all to speak in privately with me.

On the flip side, do you realizew how many people will not say a word to the person who stands behind them within ear shot of every word they say to the tech or pharmacist, but will complain on here about HIPPA violations? Or how many people get mad when we tell them they need to step back so that we can discuss the patient in front of us medication? It happens all the time.

CVS is very inconsiderate about privacy laws. I myself filed a complaint to hipaa about them. They embarrassed me when picking up my seizure medication. A controlled substances. I felt that it was a dishonor to my neurologist. For my inconvenience they sent me a 20 dollar gift card.
