To start off, my daughter has very bad food allergies, so when she goes out to eat she has to be very very careful, a couple of weeks ago we decided to go to Arbys, she order our food and told them not to put any mayo or that sauce they use, she told them she was allergic and how important it was for them not to put it on her sandwich, will when she got home she checked her food and there it was mayo or that special sauce they use, she called the Manager and told him, he felt really bad and told her that the next time we come in it would be free, will on the 13th of April we decided to eat there again, my daughter called them to see if they were going to honor what that manager had told her, and reminded him about the allergy to mayo or sauce (whatever), and he assured her, so my husband went to Arbys, and ordered our food and told them not to put mayo on her sandwich, now my husband came home with 2 bags of food, and my daughter checked her food, and there it was, she called the manager, the one she talked to was Jeremy, all he could say was, humans make mistakes and its not there fault, he also told her that they get to making so many sandwiches that they don't think about that, and that my husband should have checked the sandwiches before he left, that's not my husbands job to have to go through 2 bags of food and check every sandwich. that's their job to assure that we get what we ordered in the bag and safe to eat, what if it was a small child who doesn't look at their food, especially if their hungry and mom not able to check it fast enough, my daughter is very allergic and that's how we found out, and I know there are a lot more people out there with food allergies, she most generally only has 15 minutes to get to the hospital, she has to keep an epic pin with her at all times, if they feel this way about her, what does this tell you about all their customers, my mother used to say (fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me) we won't go back to that Arbys again, and if anyone else is smart they won't either for health safety, it is their jobs to make sure people can eat safe or at least make a little more effort to do so, so special training or something to assure their employees are doing the best job they can for the safety of their customers, and I agree people do make mistakes, but its when we learn from them is when we better ourselves. And if this manager Jeremy would have shown any concern I would not be writing this.
