Champia did a inspection on our new home and said they'd guarantee their work, but they didn't do a good job. They were supposed to find any big problems before we bought the house, but they said we were on Public sewage when we weren't. We had to pay $590 to clean the Septic because Champia gave us wrong info and lied on the inspection report. We've been trying to talk to them about it, but they're mean and don't care. We're fighting some of the charges with our credit card company.

I had a home check-up from Champia Real Estate Inspections, LLC and they missed some big problems that I found right after I moved in. When I called them, they didn't want to take any responsibility and said they didn't miss anything. Here are the issues they missed: 1. The AC doesn't run all the time. A real AC person came and fixed it, but said it was a problem from when it was installed. 2. There's a leak upstairs. A real plumber said it's been there for over a year. 3. There's a gas and carbon monoxide leak in the basement because the hot water heater isn't vented right. Atlanta Gas & Light came and turned off the gas because it's super dangerous. 4. The water in the toilet and sink on the main floor bubbles. Champia hasn't asked to see any pictures or anything.

Champia Real Estate Inspections did a home check of a house in Norcross, GA that me and my hubby are buying. We paid $503.50 for the check and got $75 back when the bug part was canceled. We're having a problem with the remaining $428.50. Champia's website says they'll check the whole structure from the foundation to the roof and give us a report on all the issues. The problem is that the check didn't cover some things the report said it would, like the roofing materials, roof drainage, and flashing. The inspector didn't even see a busted exterior rafter that was holding up a droopy roof, which we could see from the driveway. After I sent him a photo, he added a short note and photo to a new report with the same date and ID number. I talked to Manager Scott *** about it, but we still had to pay $350 for another check from Ranger that we trust. Both reports are attached.

I asked for a specific inspector, but they changed it on me the morning of the inspection. I paid for a pool inspection, but the inspector couldn't do it and told me to find someone else. I asked for a refund, but they haven't given it to me yet. I also asked if I needed to shock the pool, but the inspector said no. Later, they said the pool needed to be cleaned before they could inspect it. I asked for all structures to be inspected, but they charged me extra for the garage. They said they thought it was the same as the pool house. I asked for the garage to be inspected, but they haven't done it yet. I want a refund for the extra charges. They charged me twice for the termite inspection, but refunded one payment. They said they refunded the other things, but I haven't received the money yet. They said they mailed it to the inspection location, but that's not my address. It seems like they're trying to avoid paying for things they didn't do.
