Getting a solar project permitted and completed in the city of Chicago, in a historic district, is no small task. The Certasun team were diligent and methodical in getting our system completed, and we are very happy with how it is performing. I feel they went beyond my expectations. Sun city changed their rules of how long outside wires can run down the side of the house. The team came up with a design that was extremely neat. It was a beautiful job and they were very helpful even through COVID 19. The system works excellently. I would heavily recommend this company to everyone.

Very happy with Certasun -- it was a seamless process as they took care of everything from permits to final connection with ComEd. Sales rep was clear in explaining the differences between lease and sale. The installation crew -- I remember Josh, Corey and Kyle to name a few were very helpful, personable and answered all my questions. My system has been working for one month exactly and I have saved $65 on my 2,000 sq ft home. Recommend!

Professional is the word for Certasun. I was being referred by my friend and except for a small miscommunication everything else was seamless. All people that I interacted for my solar installation were knowledgeable, very responsive and easy to work with. The whole process from start to end(sales to operation and commissioning) everything was seamless. Very likely I am referring to my friends and family to Certasun for solar installation.

The Certasun team was professional and polite from the sales pitch through commissioning. The install happened during the Covid-19 pandemic and I was very pleased how they enacted numerous policies to protect their install team and also myself, thanks. The electricians did a great job with my tedious request of aligning and routing everything. System has been running and performing as expected. Fantastic job, will be coming back if and when I need to expand.

Overall I was happy with the work done by CertaSun. There was some communication issue especially related to the roof condition, other than everything was done good and as planned. I will like to mention Iain Drummond (VP Operations) here, he was exceptionally responsive was ready to go above and beyond to ensure the success of the project. Without him I do not think I would have had this project completed. Iain, I personally like to thank you for your time and guidance.

A totally hassle free installation from quote to permitting, to inspection, to final powering on. I found Certasun sales candid, honest and very low pressure. Their installation team was efficient and professional, completing a 28 panel installation in just one day. Power-on the following day allowed the system to provide power immediately, and although *** took 4 days with their application to reflect that, the *** application showed me within an hour how much I was producing. I can't say enough how pleased I am with the Certasun installation.

Certasun has been terrific. From the initial call, through final installation, the front office would answer all my e-mails within a day, usually within minutes. The installer crew was efficient, polite, and very meticulous. They took pains to protect my floors inside, and my property outside. The install took just a little less time than they had planned, even though they had to work through a dismal rainy day on day one, and a cold day the next. I am very happy with my decision. Worked with several companies before zeroing on Certasun. Worked with Bill *** from sales team and he was fantastic. Got the best rate and Sunpower Panels. The only issue I had was the process was very slow and it went beyond 90 days to complete the installation and approval by city. Had to follow-up multiple times regarding the status of installation but didn't let that bother me much as they are professionals and know their job. City did not approve it couple of times but they came back and fixed the issues without bothering me much and not adding additional costs. Would strongly recommend.

Despite offering some of the more expensive panels on the market, Certasun presented us with a competitive system quote -- including an unbeatable guarantee on our annual energy production. Installation team, including panel installers and electricians, arrived on schedule and completed the job in the time quoted. Our only post-installation service call which involved some missing online performance data, was quickly diagnosed by the service team as a wi-fi connection issue and just as quickly resolved. We are very pleased with our decision to go with Certasun for the simple but not be taken for granted reasons -- great product, great terms, great people, and great service.

Time will tell whether my system turns out to be a good value; I've only had it in operation for a couple of weeks and I haven't received the state incentives yet. But the spec sheet on these SunPower photovoltaic panels is outstanding. The company, CertaSun was easy to work with. They were not pushy at all, just gave me the information I was asking for and let me think about it. When I decided to buy a system for my house and go ahead with the project, they were respectful of my Home Owners' Association guidelines and patient when the HOA asked if the panels could be reconfigured so there weren't as many in the front of the house. They procured the Village building permit. They did the job in 2 days, and were very professional. The finished project looks neat and tidy, with minimal external conduit or wiring. I am referring them to anyone who is at all interested. They were great to work with.

Our install dates coincided with the worst business environment in at least a century. As things got worse, I grew apprehensive that Certasun might be challenged to perform the work. I questioned whether or not they had adequate supplies of panels and micro-inverters - they did. I wondered whether their installers would be ready - they were. Our biggest challenge was getting our Village to authorize the start of work and inspections - customer/homeowner involvement was critical and the Village was very reasonable. The crew that came out was excellent and they took the time to make sure the system wasn't just slapped up without regard to aesthetics. The end result was a great looking installation with only the panels showing and all of the conduit piggy-backing on a pre-installed chase. Very clean look. For the two sunny days we've had I've really enjoyed seeing how much power was being generated and even on the cloudy and rainy days, we have generated a not insignificant amount of power.

Certasun put in a Sunpower Solar system for me. They messed up the paperwork with Comed, which caused a holdup in getting net metering approved. This means I'm not getting paid for the electricity I'm sending to Comed right now. It's costing me money.

Certasun installed solar panels for me, and while I don't know much about solar, I asked them to hide the panels from the street. However, they didn't tell me that by not having any on the west side of my house, I wouldn't get full solar production. They put 19 panels on the east and south side of the building, but in the early afternoon, I start losing production as the sun goes to the west and the east side panels get shaded. Certasun should have informed me of this before installation. I paid around $25,000, but I'm not getting the full deduction due to the panel placement. I called and spoke with a representative who suggested buying more panels instead of moving them to the west side. I want them to move four panels to the west side, but I don't want to pay for it.
