The inspector was very professional and very good about leading me through all of the steps of the inspection. He answered all questions. His appearance was neat and clean, and he was very conscientious about making sure he didn't drag in dirt, and took the extra precautions for covid 19. I would highly recommend this company.

The owner was very informative and knew what he was doing. His video presentation made everything very easy to understand and follow. His format to make the fix list made the process very easy. He couldn't access part of the house so we got a hold of the owners and they made it assessable and he came back out the next day. It's the second time we used him.

Chris Smith of Certainty Home Inspections did an awesome job of explaining his findings and going through each in detail. The photos were great but the video was the cherry on top. Trying to remember everything he said would be difficult - but the conversation was recorded so I can go back and replay any section I need to. It's obvious Chris is dedicated to his career and it shows in his enthusiasm. I would recommend Certainty to anyone looking for a home inspection.

This company made it extremely easy to schedule the initial inspection. Upon arrival our home inspector was great! He took extra time with us and explained everything with great detail. He made everything easy for my to understand as a first time home buyer and made sure I understood everything before he left. I would highly recommend this company. Even the office/scheduling staff were great. I want sure what I needed and they also explained everything to me with great detail.

I wish I could give no stars or negative stars. We've been in our house since December and we have had 3 problems so far that were supposedly covered by their warranty. None of which this gimmick company has rectified or tried to honor their warranty on. This includes our gas stove which caught on fire at Christmas while attempting to bake a turkey, roof leaks that have caused so much damage that water has now seeped into our furnace and air conditioner unit. Surprisingly, since our home inspector said we had a satisfactory electrical system, the breakers did not switch off when water from our leaking roof poured into the furnace box and fried the panel inside. No breakers popped. Not a single one. My entire family could have burnt up in the night from an electrical fire. But of course when my husband tried to get help or even just some sort of action from this company, he received an angry email from a woman who stated that they were not “a company to be threatened". I am angry about their business practices, yes, but I am so out of fear. I have two small children under the age of six, this is our first home, and home is not a place where you should constantly be questioning your safety. Had Certainty's inspector done a thorough job, we would have been completely informed as to the extent of repairs needed. We would NEVER have purchased this home, despite all the money invested.

I have tried to get into contact with the owner of this company and he has refused to call me back and has sent hateful, disrespectful, and unprofessional emails. His company conducted an act of fraud and all I am seeking is for my money back which was for a home inspection that was not conducted properly as it resulted in me paying $10,000 in repairs that the inspector did not disclose. All professionals that have conducted the repairs have said that any experienced inspector would have noticed and disclosed these issues.
