Canadian Tire

Date of incident: June 23-24, 2021
I live in Toronto and was visiting Lemington.

My brakes were making horrible sounds as I was heading home, I took it to the nearest mechanic I could find. I explained I wanted to least yet safest amount of work completed, that wouldn't too much time, as I was on my way home. If my car couldn't get serviced that day, I would find an alternative solution or mechanic.

After being delayed an hour, after another hour, after hour, I ended up having to stay overnight and getting a hotel for an extra day, at an extra expense. If I knew or was warned it would take that long I would have had my car towed home and driven a rental vehicle back to Toronto.

I was quoted for $660 taxes in and the bill came up to $900+.

I have never paid that much at one time to fix any vehicle I have owned. In an emergency situation, I feel I was taken advantage of.
