On August 27, 2021 I took my Dodge Caravan into Duncan CT auto service for diagnostics as it had been running rough and had had an occasional backfire over the course of a couple weeks.
After diagnostics, I was told that the van required new plugs and wires to resolve the above problem and I was given an estimate of OVER $500 (with an oil change). That seemed an excessively high and unreasonable estimate so I drove to a mechanic I know who had a quick look and told me it was the ignition coil and that the plugs and wires were fine. He replaced the defective coil and the van has run like a top since (it's Sept 18, odometer 212912 - I've put 611 kms without a single previous issue). Clearly the plugs and wires were and are absolutely fine!

It's not fair nor appropriate that I pay $123.20 for diagnostics that were WRONG and would have resulted in me spending nearly $500 and NOT fixing the problem the van presented with.
I would like this refunded as a gift certificate please.
