Meaningful Beauty - New Jersey, Forked River / Billing

Reviewer46586 on 2015-08-21
Meaningful beauty is absolutely the worst company to deal with. I called multiple times to cancel shipment and they still kept coming. When I spoke with billing I was told to send it back and they will credit my account. So you would think that is the end. Wren. I received a letter from a collation's agency stating I owe over $200.00 which is way more than the 3 months re-shipment order. Now I'm fighting the claim with a collections agency representative that can't provide any information but repeat mute information. Don't order. Products aren't worth it.

Meaningful Beauty / Auto Ship Fraud

MC@beyondannoyed$$ on 2015-02-16
After seeing the amazing infomercials I finally decided to try the introductory kit. When ordering it was NOT obvious to me that I was electing a recurring auto ship 'membership'. I am sure it's in the fine print but a reputable company would make it obvious and force you to check a box acknowledging that you were knowingly choosing this option. So perhaps I am at fault. Anyway, the kit arrived and I read the enclosed documents and learned another shipment would be automatically sent to me and charged to my debit card (never would have used a debit had I known it was recurring...

Meaningful Beauty - Mississippi, Hattiesburg / Scam! Never got product and threatening collections

Jennifer Martin1 on 2015-01-12
Not once but twice has meaningful beauty not sent my product but I paid for it just so they would cancel and then they started charging again and I called and called and weote them only for them to tell me that I had to pay and then they would resend. I told them I don't want the product just don't charge me. The manager hung up and now I'm getting collections letters

Meaningful Beauty - California, Pinole / Bad costumer service

geepot on 2014-07-21
I've been using meaningful beauty products (not the make-up) and I am satisfied for 6 years. Unfortunately, it does not come in a package. Customer service is so bad. When ordering online, it takes 10 business days to ship your order. Therefore, I called the 800 number to place my order and asked if they can ship it faster. I should've gotten the customer service name so I can post it. She sounded unhappy on the phone and not helpful at all. She told me to place my order online rather than ordering it from her. Since I am almost running out of my cleanser, I am willing to pay the...

Meaningful Beauty - Arizona, Bullhead City / never received still charging

mzaz86442 on 2014-07-20
DO NOT PURCHASE Meaningful beauty. I ordered in June which I never received. I called them to cancel my order where I had already paid $49.95. They deducted $49.95 out of my account on AGAIN on July 15 and I still HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY ORDER. Do not buy from this company. They scam you. I will be getting in touch with the BBB. I should have checked online about this company. I read that there are many people going through the same thing I am going through. Meaningful Beauty / Threatening collection

Ruth M. E. on 2014-06-30
Shipped product NOT ordered in January, charged my cc that I disputed; product was returned and I sent email to stop further shipments and issue credit; they shipped again in April - again NOT ordered, charged my cc, I disputed and I emailed them again, telling them that I was returning the product and to credit the account; shipment was refused to postal carrier; received statement of balance due; I returned the statement along with email copies; then I received a postcard indicating that they received returned shipment back at their warehouse, asking for re-shipment instructions. I sent back...

Meaningful Beauty / Dirty business

M AL on 2014-06-27
Dirty Business First of when you order products from Guthy Renker they don't tell you that comes from 3 different companies. When I had to call to cancel I had to call dozens of different numbers, was ridiculous. Customer service was super rude and unhelpful. The first shipment was not received and I called to cancel the whole thing. They did not cancel and continuously kept charging me. The second packaged arrived and I returned back. The third never came. I called several... SEVERAL times discussing the matter and nothing was done. I had to dispute the transactions with my credit card...

Meaningful Beauty - Florida, ORLANDO / Unauthorized charges on my cc

Grelis on 2014-06-23
The offer the cosmetics at a price on tv, but you really need to read the small letters because by the time you finish your creams you will be paing for a way better product, beside that i hate the way the lay to you when you call and ask them to cancel the account because you don't want your account to be charge again and they will said, don't worry your account have been cancel and when you check your bank statement, they have charge you 4 time the price that said in the tv commercial! Be aware of this theft!!!

Meaningful Beauty - Florida, Tallahassee / charges after cancellation

margo rosa on 2014-06-14
I cancelled membership, however, before the end of the trial I received another kit, I paid for shipping charges. I have since cancelled this account some time ago and now received a bill for $14, 95. I do not owe this bill and request that you remove the charge. It's been at least 2 months since I returned the product with my own payment. I will file a complaint with the Consumer Complaint Agency of the United states. I have seen all of the hundreds complaints that include this same issue - overcharging!! REMOVE THE CHARGE!!

Meaningful Beauty - Ontario, Wasaga Beach / Re-curing charges

GingerE6 on 2014-05-12
I ordered Meaningful Beauty in December of 2013. After waiting a very long time for it to arrive I was greatly disappointed in the product. I cancelled all remaining deliveries as of April 23, 2014. I received confirmation from the post office that my return was received by Meaningful Beauty on April 25, 2014. On May 5, 2014, my credit card was charged again - kinda weird since I had cancelled and they had received the returned product. After calling I was informed that my return would be processed as of June 11, 2014 and that I would be charged repeatedly until that date. Considering that...

Meaningful Beauty - Washington, Seattle / Wrongful Charges

K C Gauldine on 2014-03-06
After many frustrating communications with Meaningful Beauty and Guthy-Renker, and support from my credit card company I received an e-mail on November 23, 2013 from Guthy-Renker stating that my account was closed as requested in September and that all unauthorized charges were removed from my account. I have also received a letter from my credit card company stating that my dispute "has been successfully resolved". Now several months later I have received a first time "Statement" in the mail as well as by e-mail that "my account is delinquent and that I have ignored multiple statements to pay my...

Meaningful Beauty / face products

rosa zapata on 2013-12-30
I was told they were only charging me 29.99 with free shipping and that I can cancel if I am not happy with poduct. Now I got a e-mail telling me they are charging me 119.85. They are freuds. Do not order, for they lie. When I called to cancel they told me to call after 72 hours, but they sure are fast to take your money. They better give me all my money they lied to me. I even asked her is that all that they were charging me the 29.99 from my card and she answered me yes. I have every right to cancel, they were deceitful.

Meaningful Beauty - California, San Francisco / Fraud!

Moonlouie on 2013-09-17
I agree with so many others. First the products don't live up to what they claim they can do. Then when you barely have enough time to even try the product they are charging your credit card again. And when you do try to cancel and refund you are transferred from one person to the next and so on.. I hope since I cancelled I won't keep getting charged like other people claim they have. This is an awful endorsement and Ms. Cindy should be ashamed to even have her name attached to it.

Meaningful Beauty / Overcharging without consent

Ishaskeete on 2013-05-16
I ordered some products from meaningful beauty back in feb 2013 and it was a one time order, I've been getting charged repeatedly by this company even after I called and told them to cancel all orders, they agreed to do so but yet I still get charged, also they charged me for vitamins that I never ordered and said it came with the purchase but was in the fine prints, I cancelled those as well but still got charged over and over, I need this to stop at once

Meaningful Beauty - California / Scam and lie

Millennium on 2013-04-17
After watching the ad on Tv, I decided to send my sister the package for around 40$ for a one time only deal. They said I had to call back to cancel recurrent orders. I did it, however they sent a 130 dollars product again without any permission. I called to pay the deal, but this guy named Kenny, when asked about the Internet place to complain he said I should write it to Proactive.com! I asked for his last name and didn't want to give it. He repeated proactive.com to leave comments... Are you kidding? Is not this Meaningful Beauty??? Meaningful beauty must think that our intelligence coefficient is vey low... Very bad business malpractices and lying customer service support.

Meaningful Beauty - Louisiana / Recurring charges after cancellation

MichelleTK on 2013-03-28
I am 42 years of age and I have never publicly complained about any product or business. With that being said i have also never had such an infuriating experience as a consumer as I have had since January with Meaningful Beauty. When I first ordered the product, my account was duplicated so I immediately incurred double charges. After canceling the second account I did not receive credit. The product double shipped a second time. After looking at my bank statement for the month I see yet another charge. I cannot tell you how many representatives have stated that the situation would be...

I never would have done that without trying the porduct. I now cannot get them to stop taking money out of my accout even though i have called twice.

Meaningful Beauty - California / Fraud

EvangelineGreen on 2012-12-07
I ordered the "Introductory" package on TV. I only ordered the skin care. Apparently they also sent me vitamins, which I never ordered. I didn't like the skincare so I returned it and cancelled. They sent another shipment anyway so I returned that. And now they want $106 for the vitamins I never ordered and never received. Had I received them I would have sent them back also because the products are very low quality and an absoloute rip off.
