I’m going to keep it short. Whomever you make an appointment with at Massage Envy at The Falls; you better make sure it is NOT with Ana Marie (or Ana Maria).
She has absolutely NO idea what she’s doing; all she did was bathing me in lotion. She rushed through everything; she massaged half of my arms and my legs. That was basically a rub; I wouldn’t call it a massage. But at the end, she massaged my shins so hard and for so long that I literally got shin splints.
She didn’t seem to like the job; it looks like she is just there to collect paychecks. Honestly,...

I singed up for the yearly contract :( please be careful !When you call to book your next session, they make it within less than 30 days and charge you extra claiming that you asked for extra session ! Their costumer service are helpfulness and their answer is sorry we can not help you ! I received a call that you did not show for 9 am session that I did not book for sure cz I always choose my timing after 5 pm because I work !As the usual ….Sorry we will charge yo for the cancellation ! Massage Envy - Displaced Rib

The day after my massage my back was really hurting. It got to the point where it hurt to breathe. I was screaming in excruciating pain until I could get tot he Dr. Turned out my masseuse displaced a rib. I was on 3 medication, Percocet, Flexural, and Napraxen. After a week it popped back in but by that time I had a fever and was coughing up blood. After yet another Drs. visit and X-ray it turns out I had pneumonia! From laying in bed for 4 days, not able to take a deep breath or cough, it went into my lungs. Now I need more medication, and I missed more work (8 days total). They will not reimburse...

I have a few complaints about this company. First, I had the first available appointment one morning. No one showed up for an hour to let me and the massage therapist into the location. Then a few months later I was out of work and on disability. I tried putting the account on hold or cancelling it during this time period that I was bed ridden. They stated they could NOT assist me unless I came into the store (which I was unable to as I could not leave the bed). booked a 90 minute massage with Denise. During that time she spent 30 minutes practicing stretches and telling me to ignore my MD advice about my back. She also said I should book another appt. right away.
I called today (2 days later) and cancelled the appointment and spoke with the manager. I told her that Denise was inappropriate as she has no medical training.
She told me that Denise said I had 'poor hygiene.' When asked why, she said ' you havef dandruff and she thinks you may have lice.' I asked why, if she thought I had lice, she continued for 90 minutes.Anyone...

My wife and I joined Massage Envy a couple of years ago and for the most part have had a good experience. Early on they would cancel on me with short notice and never offer me any sort of compensation. Those issues have gone away, but it has become very clear to me that this company is all about the bottom line and not the happiness of the customer. We recently received an email stating that as loyal customers they would like to inform us that prices are going up %25 in a month. I purchased $180.00 in gift cards to be used as business gifts and my own personal use. After the first use of the Gift Card, the Manager (Herah) and Owner (Aditi) at the Blossom Hill location in San Jose, California did not honor their agreements or terms of the policies.

They refused to refund or Credit back my account. Basically, they got their money and then played games. When I challenged them about the situation they acted like they were Bank of America...Beware of deceptive business practices and rude, arrogant attitude.

Do not patronize this location!! Bad business....

After 4 hours of an unpaid lecture (orientation) inside the clinic, several online training programs (again unpaid, ) 3 hands-on practicals, and verbal/written confirmation that I have been hired. They send an email (not a phone call) stating that I did not meet their criteria during the 3 hour practical. Excuse me? Don't employers normally have a grace period for training before terminating their employment?? I am licensed and exprerienced. I was given $160. Gift Certificate by Son. I went to Pompano Beach Store location and had ONE 90 minute massage. I asked for receipt showing Credit for next massage.
They refused!
They have been contacted to correct mistake . . . They refuse!
I have copy of original Gift and amount is shown $160.
FRAUD, Theft, Misrepresentation, falsification of records and basically
crooked business. All paper work shows their absolute liability and
their fraudulent lies to the contrary. I will prevail as I am right and

In Feb. I purchased a $100 gift card from MASSAGE ENVY. Now they want a credit card to hold for your appt. Understandable! However, after the appt., they want to hold your card in their system which could be seen or used by anyone there. They told my wife she could come in at 8 or 9am and see if they have an opening and avoid using the credit card. But, once the gift card is used, they hold your credit card in their system. They do not belong to the BBB and currently have a rating of "F" for not answering their calls to them. Also, they will charge the already paid gift card of $100 to the credit...

Denial based on Clinic Administrator's claim they weren't a medical clinic, the information was confidential and I signed a non-compete/confidential agreement (which clearly states it is governed by the state laws of Florida.) State laws mandate copies of records held by owner to be turned over to healthcare worker who generated them including notes, etc. ME's training manual clearly states their forms can be subpoenaed by insurance companies in a court of law. I am extremely unhappy with Massage Envy. Several months ago I signed up for your 6 massage plan. I was told I would be billed for 6 massages, one monthly for 6 months. I called after I thought I had been billed for six (6) and they told me I had one more month. I think that was in October 2012. I have noticed for the past few months I continue to be charged a monthly charge. When I called Massage Envy on Camelback, they told me the plan automatically goes month to month after the 6 months. LMTs have had it working for these franchises. They underpay their therapists and over work them. Too long to write here. I travel a great deal. Built up a backlog of massages (15 or 16). Put membership on hold. Once you do, it is almost impossible to book a massage. You have to reactivate membership, and pay at least one additional month before they will even speak with you. Many times they took my account off hold and started auto billing me again. When I was asked to sign a contract for Massage Envy, I told them I could not because there was no way for me to afford it. They then asked me if I had flex spending, and said I could paying using it. However after signing the year contract, FSA told me they do not accept the charges and that I will have to pay. I cannot afford to pay but they insist there is nothing that can be done, and I am stuck in the contract. I find this very deceiving and am not happy. Do not make the same mistake, find someone else for your massages....

I am completely disgusted by how I have been treated here.

I had previously made an appointment for August 24th 2012 at noon many weeks in advance.  I called the evening before at 8:21 pm to cancel due to family issues. The lady who answered the phone said it would not be a problem and of course I wouldnt be charged because I canceled more than three hours in advance.

Fast forward to the 24th. At 12:07 pm I received a voicemail stating that I missed my appointment. Really?? I called back and explained that I spoke with someone the night before and canceled my appointment....
