39days ago they (greyhound bus line) lost my luggage and still no word and had to deal with very bad customers service over my lost luggage now that the waiting game I got to wait 90 days for them to fine my lost luggage and the lost don't stop there now that I talked to someone and found out that if you take luggage on the bus. Worth say 2000 bucks and they lost it they only pay you $250 only but they don't have signs any where posted in any station I been at saying if your luggage is worth 250 to 5000 bucks you need insurance but they don't say a word and they only pay $250 each...

This organization is the most 'criminal';unprofessional; and totally incompetent for handling disabled; veterans and seniors. I shipped my luggage on 7/24/11 from Cleveland, OH to Tucson, AZ...I was lied to by the clerk/stolen luggage/misrepresented by their Tucson, AZ office. There corporate organization is 'criminal' in the way they handle problems. the FTC or some governmental agency needs to close this 'criminal enterprise' down. They steal, mispresent, and charge for services they do not perform. Their actions has caused me great harm since I am a disabled veteran...

Greyhound Bus Lines - Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh - Lost/Delayed Luggage

I left Dallas, Texas on 7/29/2011 and arrived in Pittsburgh, PA early Sunday. I left with Dallas with 5 checked items, and now I have nothing but the clothes on my back. I am a disabled Veteran and athlete. I took my $5, 000 wheelchair with me, clothes, medication, and other equipment I need for my sporting event. I need my things found quickly. I don't have the funds to go out and buy things to replace the items lost. This is disgusting. It is frustrating. It is humiliating, and no one at Greyhound seems to want to go out of their way to do the right thing. I'm at my hotel right now wondering...

My daughter and I were on our way from Claremont, CA to Saint George, Utah. This was our first time traveling by bus. While we were waiting in the bus station for our bus to arrive. There were several buses coming in and we were trying to find out which one was our bus, but we couldn't get any of the drivers to respond back to our question. They would just ignore us, completely. And that was a bad sign just from the beggining. We had to go inside and ASK the people inside if it was. That's how our trip started. At our 1st stop there was a lady driving. WE stopped in barstow at mcdonalds....

My baggage was lost on July 8 and I have put in a report on the situation, now I can not get on hold of anyone to talk to them about how this matter is being handle to return my things to me or get the money for my things!On the return trip, the bus was late leaving and no one said anything to me and I missed my connection and had to sleep over night in the termal of the bus station!!I need to speak to someone about this, I had to worse experience in my life riding Greyhound Bus!I will never ride it again!...

I was treated with prejudice and man handled by a security guard, without provocation. Drivers were all rude and condescending, bossy and disrespectful, not at all helpful. Complaints department has not been helpful in resolving my complaints or finding my luggage they lost in Amaillo, TX. Greyhound requires that customers be in charge of their luggage, yet in Amarillo, TX, I was shoved into the station and denied acess to my luggage for transfer. Literally shoved and yelled at. Of course Amarillo was the last place I saw my luggage. This issue has not been resolved after months of my compliance...

It is now 3;37 in the morning my elderly mother in-law is stranded on a bus from Philadelphia to Indianpolis. She has been waithing for at least 2 hours for another bus to arrive. One bus already picked up half the passengers. She doesn't know where she is or when she will be arriving. All phone lines are closed to Greyhound NO COMMUNICATION until 7;00 in the morning, not to mention her bus was already 45 minutes late departing!!! Very UPSET and Worried!!! NEVER USE GREYHOUND!!!...

I travelled on Greyhound to State College, Pennsylvania and back. The ride up to State College we were on a bus that the driver stated the engine light had come on. The driver got off the bus and said he had to check to see if any fluids were leaking. They were not so he continued to drive eventhough the engine light was on. Coming home it was disgusting. The Greyhound bus was filthy. I actually took pictures of how dirty the seats were as well as the toilet. The toilet had so much debris that it was not able to be used so we had a 5 1/2 ride with no restroom. How was this bus allowed to come out...

On Tuesday, November 16, 2010, I went to the Memphis Greyhound Bus Station on Union Avenue to wait for the 10 p.m. bus to Dallas, TX. I had traveled Greyhound quite frequently before from this station and although service has never been great, it has also never been as awful as what happened to me that night. First of all, the station was freeing cold. And the station smelled. The Memphis, TN greyhound station is one of the very few with open door restrooms and the cleanup person is always off of work. I recently took a Grey hound bus on Thurs. evening the Nov.14th, departing out of Wichita Falls Texas. I personally helped the driver load my 2 bags on to the bus. One being a suitcase containing all my clothes, personal hygiene items, cancer medication, and processor I use to compose music with. The second bag was a Stanley tool box on wheels which held over 3 thousand dollars worth of my work tools.

besides the two day cancelation, the being treated like shit and yelled at by greyhound employies, the lost my luggage, i went to grab my and was yelled at and told to leave it alone and because i listend i now dont have my luggage which contained eveything i had left to my name including important things. I cant believe that this company is a major company or that it has not been shut down yet. The last time I took the bus, you lost my luggage for the nth time (and by nth, i do mean nth), and it seems that, for every time you lose my luggage, your level of courtesy goes down by 50%. On July 27, 2009 I embarked on a Greyhound bus ride from San Jose, CA to Chicago, IL. I've been traveling on Greyhound since I was a teenager and I have always enjoyed this method of transportation. However, I enjoyed little on this particular (and last) trip via 'the hound.'

While the drivers were as friendly and professional usual (and now have snappy new uniforms), the buses were in poor condition -- posted instructions WRITTEN IN MARKER INK, gum and old food stuck in between the windows and seats, bus bathrooms without sinks and often without tissue. My mother in law purchased a bus ticket from Truckee, CA., and Greyhound had me scheduled out of a totally different city! After paying for a non-refunded ticket, I was told that she could get her money back for the ticket that she purchased. After several calls to the main line, I was given the number for customer service, which is located in Texas. I dailed the number and got a "disconnected" message. I would like to see that my mother in law gets her refund! There should be no reason why someone would have to pay for tickets that were issued wrong!!...

I left Kansas city Kansas for Las vegas, Nevada on January 27th 2009. Five hours out of Kansas city, the bus broke down and all passengers spent 7 hours at a roadside rest area until until another bus came to get us. Then when we got to Denver, we missed our connections and had to wait another 5 hours. I was late getting to Las Vegas and had a prepaid room that I didnt end up checking into until 3am and had to check out the same day. Greyhound never apologized or offered anyone on the bus compensation except for a lousy meal voucher for a sandwich and a bag of chips! How do they stay in business...

On 11/08/08, my son and I took my mother to the greyhound station in St. Louis, Mo. to catch a bus to Chyenne, Wy. We had called in advance for assistance for her as told to do.
After getting to the station, she was told by one gentleman to follow him so she could get on the bus, however there was no one to carry her baggage so my son and I carried her bags out to the bus. Once we got there another man started screaming at us and wanted to see our tickets. We told him we were just carrying her bags out since her assistance that was supposed to be provided wasn't there.

I used my wife's credit card to purchase a return ticket through Greyhound Bus lines.

According to the ticket, the charge was (including taxes) $99.54. But they charged the card $115.29. An overcharge of $15.75.

Attempts to contact Greyhound regarding this discrepency have been ignored.

Attempts made by the BBB to contact Greyhound have also being ignored.

Greyhound is BRAZENLY STEALING....
