DHGate.com Beware of Counterfeit Devices on DHgate: My Nightmare Experience with Nuface Trinity Devices

I bought two Nuface Trinity devices from DHgate, one for myself and one for a friend. Unfortunately, I accidentally purchased from two different sellers, and both devices turned out to be counterfeit. The sellers did not mention that they were "high-end copies" at the time of purchase, but they did admit to it after I filed a dispute. I have all the correspondence and website descriptions that prove they were only labeled as "Nuface Trinity." I have been trying to get a refund since November 24th, but the process has been a nightmare. Both sellers broke DHgate's rules, and it has been difficult to get a response from DHgate. One seller finally agreed to a refund, but they did not want the device back because it would cost them more to ship it back than what I paid for it. They accepted my proposal to return it, but then left me hanging when I needed a shipping tracking number that could not exist. When I asked the seller what to do, they told me to provide an invalid tracking number to DHgate, and they would confirm that they received the goods. That was on November 30th, and I have yet to receive a refund. The "SYSTEM" says it's waiting for the seller's confirmation, and I'm fearful that they are scamming me again. I wrote to DHgate yesterday, but I have yet to receive a response.

I turned the dispute over to DHgate on December 2nd, but I have heard nothing from them since then. I realize it hasn't been very long, but this has been going on since November 24th. My warning to others is that you can't trust sellers to send original devices, and you can't trust DHgate's buyer protection rules or dispute resolution system. I hope I can return to this review and say that DHgate stepped up and took care of my rights as a customer when their sellers were selling counterfeit electric face devices. According to NuFace, some people have been injured using these devices. When I first found out they were counterfeit, I chatted with a DHgate representative, and they did not seem to take the situation seriously. As of now, I don't think DHgate has an issue with counterfeit devices being sold on their site. I will correct this review if and when they take care of this crime that was committed to me by sellers on their site. I have submitted all my evidence to the sellers and DHgate, and I will be submitting it to the Federal Trade Commission as well.

DHGate.com Terrible Experience with DHGate: Wrong Size, Poor Communication, and Blackmail Attempts

I recently bought a dress from DHGate, and I must say, it was a terrible experience. The dress they sent me was the wrong size, and when I tried to get it exchanged, it turned into a whole ordeal. I contacted the seller, but their English was so bad that it was hard to communicate with them. They insisted that they had sent the right size, but I knew it was wrong. I even went to three dressmakers to try and get it altered, but they all said it was impossible.

I kept trying to get in touch with DHGate's head office, but they ignored my pleas for help. They finally agreed to refund my money, but only if I sent the dress back to them with a tracking number. The seller kept coming up with ridiculous solutions, like giving me a partial refund or making me a new dress for an extra fee. They even tried to blackmail me into leaving positive feedback!

I was so frustrated with this company and their lies. They are a bunch of decrepit people who don't care about their customers. I wouldn't recommend buying from them at all.

However, I must say that DHGate did eventually do the right thing. They gave me a full refund and even gave me a $10 credit to use on their website. It took a lot of effort on my part to get them to do this, but I'm glad they finally did. I hope they keep their promise to keep a closer eye on their sellers in the future.

In conclusion, I would caution anyone thinking of buying from DHGate to think twice. While they eventually did the right thing in my case, it was a long and frustrating process. There are plenty of other online retailers out there who are more reliable and customer-friendly.

When I contacted DHgate's customer service center, Candy was the representative who assisted me. She asked for a screenshot of the verification email page, which I provided. However, she then asked for a larger screenshot to show the time I uploaded the information. It felt like a never-ending cycle of requests and delays.

To make matters worse, Candy informed me that the verification process could take up to five working days, despite the fact that the masks were urgently needed. I was frustrated and disappointed that DHgate didn't seem to understand the urgency of the situation. It felt like they were prioritizing their own safety measures over the needs of their customers.

I understand that Candy was just doing her job, but I couldn't help feeling like DHgate's customer service was lacking. DHGate.com DHgate Review: Poor Customer Service and Risk of Fake Products

Hi there, I recently had an experience with DHgate that I wanted to share. I had ordered a 3 CD set of diagnostic software for my car, truck, and motorcycle. However, when I received the package, I found that the CD was empty. I contacted the seller, Moon, and requested a full refund and for the seller to pay for shipping. However, Moon suggested that I download the software instead, as it was safer and more convenient. I was hesitant to do so, as I had heard that download links from DHgate could contain viruses and malware.

I explained to Moon that I had paid for a real product, not a fake one, and that I expected the product to be as advertised. I also pointed out that the CD was shipped with the flap open and the cover face down, which made it more likely to be damaged during shipping. I requested a prepaid shipping label for UPS or FedEx or USPS and a full refund, but Moon continued to make excuses and refused to take responsibility for the mistake.

I was frustrated with the lack of customer service and the victim attitude of the seller. I felt that if this had been an American company, I would have received a refund and an apology much sooner. However, I decided to be persistent and filled out the formal paperwork with my credit card company. After a few weeks, DHgate finally refunded my money on the last possible day. While I am sure that some of their sellers are good, I will never visit the site again.

I wanted to share my experience with others who may be considering using DHgate. While the prices may be tempting, the lack of customer service and the risk of receiving a fake or damaged product are not worth it. DHGate.com DHgate Review: A Nightmare Customer Service Experience

I recently had an experience with DHgate that left me feeling frustrated and exhausted. While I was initially drawn to the site because of the low prices on Pill Speakers, I quickly realized that the customer service was severely lacking. When I discovered that the speakers I had purchased were defective, I contacted DHgate to initiate the return and refund process. Little did I know that this would be a journey through customer service hell.

First, DHgate required me to provide a picture and video of the defective speakers. While I understand the need for evidence, this process involved several typing burdens that made it difficult to communicate effectively. Once I had provided the necessary information, DHgate instructed me to follow specific postal return instructions. Any deviation from these instructions could jeopardize my refund.

But the real nightmare began when I tried to get reimbursed for the cost of return mail. DHgate required me to go through their site to receive the refund, but then told me that it was actually the seller who had to make the refund. This led to countless hours spent on DHgate's live chat, typing back and forth with different reps who seemed to have no access to my prior communications. The comprehension struggle was real, and it felt like DHgate was trying to wear me down so that I would just give up and let them keep the return mail refund.

But I refused to give up. DHgate then asked me to send a screenshot of my mailing label, which was a whole other ordeal. The shipping cost was on the return box of the speakers, but DHgate didn't get a copy of the shipping label from the seller. After several attempts to provide an acceptable screenshot, my label was finally accepted.

But the hoops didn't end there. DHgate then required me to open a separate account to receive my refund, and charged me a fee to process the refund request. If I made a mistake along the way, I had to navigate through several DHgate prompts to get back to where I was before. It was a frustrating and exhausting process that made me want to give up many times.

When I finally received my refund, it was through Western Union. DHgate required me to wait for a 4 letter code and number, but wouldn't tell me when they sent it. I had to constantly check both their sites to see if I had received the code. It was a criminal abuse of the customer, and I was left feeling drained and frustrated.

Overall, my experience with DHgate was a nightmare. While the low prices may be tempting, the customer service is severely lacking. If you're considering doing business with this company, I would urge you to think twice.

DHGate.com DHgate.com Review: Frustrating Experience with Bitcoin Mining Machine Purchase

I recently had an experience with DHgate.com that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I purchased an AntMiner Bitcoin Mining Machine from a seller on the website for $242.00 on December 23rd, 2015. I chose DHL as the shipping method and was promised delivery by the end of the year. However, things did not go as planned.

Four days after payment was received, I was given a tracking number and told that my item would arrive as promised. However, the delivery date came and went, and I did not receive the item. I contacted DHgate.com through their chat room and was told that the item was shipped by HongKong post instead of DHL. I was furious, but I had no choice as the item was already shipped by a different method chosen by me at the time of purchase.

I agreed to the new shipping date and method, but I began to search the internet for the name of the seller. I discovered that the company had several client complaints online by buyers worldwide. Buyers alleged that the company had shipped empty packages, packages with bricks to a client in Australia, and many other varied kinds of unfair treatment by the defendants.

Further, I checked the tracking number using the website of the shipping carrier which DHgate.com provided to me. I was in total shock to learn from the carrier's website that the item was shipped a full 30 days before I actually ordered the item in question. The defendants admitted that the tracking number was a fake and that I needed to file a dispute and make a proposal for settlement.

I contacted the supplier of the item to get my money or the item. I was told that I needed to change my complaint from fake shipping tracking number to any other option to get a refund. This is the subject of this lawsuit.

The plaintiff is a private Bitcoin and AltCoin mining consortium headquartered in Miami, Florida. The defendants are a selling website and a Bitcoin mining machine shop situated in China. The venue is proper as the plaintiff purchased the item with a credit card in Miami, Florida, online.

I want my item in the new condition or a refund. I reported the transaction to www.ic3.com. I have not received the item yet to this date. They are asking me to change my reason for a refund from "fake tracking number" to "I do not want the item," then I get a refund. The shipper told me that the item is in Hong Kong, and there is a provision in the terms and agreement that I must pay for return shipping if I do not want the item. But I do want it or my money back. They gave me a fake tracking number so they could get paid from the escrow, and I get part of my money back when they failed to give me the item and failed to send the item by DHL. This is a sham company, and I do not recommend doing business with them.

DHGate.com Beware of DHgate.com: My Terrible Experience with Supplier "du13

I recently had a terrible experience with DHgate.com, and I want to warn others to be careful when using this site. I ordered an item from Supplier "du13" and paid in full by credit card. The seller had a 100% satisfaction rating, but they sent me the WRONG item. To make matters worse, the wrong item DID NOT WORK, and there was no manual in Chinese or English. There was also no warranty, and the item did not have UL approval or FCC compliance rating.

DHgate.com is a business to business sourcing site, and most of the businesses listed on the website are in China. It's important to research the individual company before making a purchase, as brand name merchandise is often cheap counterfeits. Businesses selling electronic items or any item with moving parts need to be researched carefully.

When I contacted DHgate customer service about the wrong item received, I got "Yang Yang" the robot, who was no help at all. I finally clicked to live chat with "Chell" and explained the problem. She was nice, but said I would need to chat with a supervisor. However, there was no supervisor available, and the chat ended.

I sent a message through the DHgate internal message port and received a reply from "Barbie" outlining steps I would need to complete a "Return and Refund" proposal form and upload photo/video evidence. I did everything as instructed, even uploading photos, but ultimately "Ellie", a Customer Service Representative for DHgate claimed it was not their mistake, and I needed to contact the seller directly to get the correct item shipped. DHgate will determine in up to 90 days whether to mediate or not, which seems like a long time to wait.

I filed a complaint at www.eConsumer.gov, and I also filed a complaint with the FTC. It's important to note that DHgate's headquarters is in Beijing, so the FTC can offer limited help. Consumers need to be careful when using this site, as suppliers who do scam customers have a partner in DHgate who will advocate for their dishonest actions.

In conclusion, I hope readers of this post find enough evidence to BEWARE doing business with DHgate. It's important to research the individual company before making a purchase, and to be aware of the risks involved.

I had a terrible experience with DHgate. I ordered a homecoming dress and was shocked to see that it would take 40 days to ship. I contacted the seller, Bill007, and asked if they could verify this information. They told me that the tailoring time is usually 15-20 days and shipping takes 7-10 days. I was not happy with this response and asked for a cancellation and refund. Bill007 said they would check with the manager and get back to me.

After waiting for a while, Bill007 came back and said that they couldn't accept a full refund because the factory had already cut the fabric. They offered to send the dress via DHL shipping for an additional $30, but I refused. I wanted my money back because I found the same dress through other companies. I threatened to contact the credit card company and the better business bureau if I didn't get a full refund.

Finally, the manager agreed to send the dress via DHL without an additional fee. However, I was confused about the "fabric" because the website said the dress came from LA Glo distributors. I asked if they accepted returns and refunds if the dress didn't fit, and Bill007 said they only accept returns if they made a mistake. They also warned me that the dress might not look exactly like the pictures.

I was not happy with this response and accused them of false advertising. They eventually agreed to refund me if I sent a request through their website. Overall, I was very disappointed with DHgate and would not recommend them to anyone. The dress arrived 60 days later and was poorly made. It was a disaster, and I think these guys should be shut down.

DHGate.com DHgate.com Review: A Scammer's Paradise - Beware of Fraudulent Sellers and Useless Dispute Process

DHgate.com is a website that is built for scammers, by scammers. It's a site where bad and fraudulent sellers are protected, and buyers are left to fend for themselves. Unlike other shopping sites that protect buyers, DHgate.com goes out of its way to protect the sellers, even if they are fraudulent.

The site is a complete joke. About one-third of orders have problems, such as off-sizing, wrong patterns, and off-colors. The sellers' attitude is "close enough," where size L works for size M or XL. Red is close to orange or pink, and brown/tan is the same as gold. Many listing photos are of genuine products, but fakes are sent, so the photos are meaningless. Reviews are useless, as sellers recycle positive reviews from past products by switching descriptions/photos and use multiple accounts, so they "burn" accounts with bad reviews. You can buy the same product twice from the same seller and get two different products/sizes. It's like buying from fly-by-night street peddlers online.

Sellers' standard response is to ignore you. They figure if you give up, they keep your money, and DHgate.com will never be notified. Half the time, DHgate.com goes along with this scam by siding with fraudulent sellers anyway.

Their process for various issues is to ask you to contact the seller. Yes, every response is "please contact the seller," even if you've exhausted weeks trying to contact the seller. They "help" you by telling you to deal with the seller directly yourself. Some help.

The dispute process is for show and designed to trip up buyers. Sellers get five or more days to ignore DHgate.com (after already ignoring you for weeks), but if buyers don't reply to a surprise middle-of-the-night message sent in a separate part of the website within 24 hours, sellers win automatically (what they call a "fair solution"). Yes, sellers get days/weeks to ignore buyers, but buyers have to respond IMMEDIATELY, or else the case is closed, even for outright fraud. And this requirement/deadline is only disclosed in the surprise message. This is why so many disputes get closed randomly.

Their customer service is a complete joke. They run buyers around in circles until the buyer gives up. Just file a dispute with your credit card company - you'll save lots of time, frustration, and stress, and maybe they'll wake up and fix their joke of a dispute process.

In conclusion, DHgate.com is not a trustworthy website to buy expensive goods. Use it at your own peril, and be prepared to fight sellers and DHgate.com's dismissive customer service over and over (and over) to get your money back.

DHGate.com Beware of DHgate: My Terrible Experience with a Counterfeit Seller

DHgate is a website that I would not recommend to anyone. They seem to be in cahoots with a bunch of Chinese counterfeiters, swindlers, and thieves who are out to steal your money and leave you helpless. I had a terrible experience with one of their so-called "top rated" suppliers, a business called "Goodmemory." This thief advertised, sold, and sent me two 128GB microSDXC UHS-I Memory cards made by "Samsung," which turned out to be fake cards with a "capacity" of zero bytes each!

I uploaded a detailed complaint against this seller three times on DHgate's site, but mysteriously, my complaints were erased three times just a few hours after I uploaded them. After a long correspondence with the seller, I finally got a refund through DHgate, but my demands to ban the seller from continuing his fraudulent business on their site were ignored. DHgate also failed to compensate me, despite their promises on their site.

To make matters worse, the Chinese Embassy's Commercial Attaché site warns customers to avoid putting their trust (and money) in "sellers" from China. This warning should be enough to make anyone think twice before using DHgate.

I would advise anyone considering using DHgate to beware and be cautious. Let the buyer beware!

DHGate.com Terrible service - Poorly designed products

I ordered two pairs of sunglasses from DH Gate and the quality was so poorly designed I honestly could not believe that they could even have the audacity to ship these products out.

I have been fighting for three weeks to obtain a refund and it has been nothing short of a nightmare, the seller responses are so delayed and each time I explain my situation via the 24/7 chat options via Facebook I keep getting a new person to speak to and need to repeat myself, each person giving me different options I am so fed up whee is the CEO of this company!

I have the app downloaded to my phone every day I go to sign in because they give you coins. Also, I have two active orders on my account! so I go in and check the shipping status daily! Today when I’m trying to open up the app and look at my account, it says that I was signed out. So I tried to sign in and it’s telling me that a code will be sent to my phone after two hours and multiple tries. There was no code sent to my phone. So my account is lost, but I have active orders and I need help ASAP.

Desired outcome: I would like for my account to be restored, so that I may receive the items that I purchased. I would like to continue to be a customer but if this issue is not resolved, then I will need a full refund.

I had sent the seller, mudiwa messages multiple times on the 8/8/2023, the 20/8/2023, the 27/8/2023, the 5/9/2023 & the 12/9/2023, 26/9/2023, 27/9/2023, 30/9/2023, 3/10/2023 to ask for the tracking # of the above item #, [protected] and to date, I have not receive any tracking # from this seller to track the whereabout the item order #, [protected] is located?

The DHgate associate Lucile who was handling the case ignored all my replies and projected as if I never replied to her and closed the dispute.

Why they have disputes if they have no intentions of even listening to what the buyer is saying.

They should protect the buyers from scammers like this.

DHGate.com CS agent and safety team service and my refund

CS agent and safety team Service

Hi, I have contacted CS agent many times they are useless and don't know what they are doing same with the safety team, my account is under restriction I am unable to receive any messages in my inbox on my DHgate account all stopped since 25th September. I have spent many hours with CS agent trying to find out what's the issue. then I was told to contact safety them to remove restriction on my account because all messages are hidden on my account but CS agent can see the messages on his side but its not showing on my side. I have emailed many times to Safety team but they keep asking what's my order number when I have told them I the restriction removed from my account but they say no restriction on my account.

I have attached screenshot of the email from CS saying my account is under restrictions and just contact safety team to remove it. I have sent this screenshot to safety team as well just what the reply was ? YES they asking me what's my order number AGAIN. They don't read the email just keep asking the same question.

I am tired contacting CS agent explaining the issue when I have asked them for report number a few times already but they don't see the issue just keeps talking about my order so wasting my time explaining again.

Then telling me I just have to wait ... I have waited 2 weeks still no fix you take my money so quick but when it comes to my account issue you don't bother trying to fix and leave it with such power customer service no wonder so much bad reviews about DHgate MY REPORT ID IS 9153

DHGate.com No money back

STAY AWAY...SCAM!

I have 5 different orders from DHGATE...all different sellers. NONE of my orders were at least decent... fake products, if you ask to return the item (i tried w different sellers) they will give you the biggest headache, forever to respond, impossible to contact customer service! In the end, if the seller finally agrees to pay for freight (some dont), you have to put more money on top of it, and the only reimburse you get is credit to buy more garbage in this company... please SAVE YOUR MONEY...even Aliexpress is mich better, at least you cam contact cistomer service and they can send you a shipping label at no cost to you.

Just so you understand how much money I lost:

- Paid 30 for a tshirt (piece of garbage...the pics they had is definitely not from the same tshirt, different colors, poor material) and the cost to send it back to china is 40 (which I have to pay to get credit w them...i dont want anything from dhgate anymore, not even for free)

- paid 130$ for runners, that came deffective, and the cost to send back from canada, is 90$ ( which again wont be refunded to me, will b applied as credit)

- paid 70$ for sandals, came all squeezed and marked in the bag...the cost to send back to china is 80$ (I DONT WANT CREDIT, I WANT MY MONEY BACK) - at least this seller was kind enough to offer to send me something else that I chose at no cost, and keep the shoes... but thats it...only ONE seller that at least tried to help (still lost my money)...

All the rest is garbage, sellers are SCAMMERS! they dont even reply to you and dhgate wont help either... donate your money to charity...

Desired outcome: Want my money back and sellers to pay for freight, since it was FALSE ADVERTISING! I dont want credit with DHGATE..i want my money!

DHGate.com Dhgate and the new kid on the block temu

STAY AWAY FROM THIS CHINESE COMPANYS THAT KEEP POPPING UP.

I thought Id update on my complaints with dhgate so for months I was promised after paying these scumbags for a cctv camera that I never got. I sent emails out to dhgate and company hire ups for couple months got no responses (normal customer service with these companies) but out of the blue get a response they were sympathetic to my case yada yada yada. And dhgate doesn't tolerate bad sellers like the I was dealing with seller E411. Well low and behold there still selling for dhgate. Now let me Enlighten you on how these Chinese Commerce companies work, when you order from dhgate you're really ordering from somebody that's on dhgate website no venting ,no oversight nothing can't trust the ratings or scores. As a seller you really have no idea if this seller's crooked corrupt a liar cheat you take your chances its a crap shoot if you get your product or not. For those that get a smooth transaction considered you the lucky ones but if you look deep into complaints you'll see a lot of people get ripped off so I want to warn people that use dhgate that there's a new kid on the Block that has the same complaints almost identical another Chinese company called TEMU. Trust me when I say they're all cut from the same cloth.

All I can say is buyer beware these companies are wolves and sheep clothing like I said you might be lucky to get what you paid for but I wouldn't trust these guys after experience with dhgate I wouldn't trust any Chinese Commerce companies stick with American.

DHGate.com Skrill payment provider

I was trying to purchase a cardigan namely a "Black Rabbit Flowers Embroidery Wome'ns Cardigan" from the seller "Shizhon" yesterday using my visa card. I clicked the payment choice section which has 2 options showing. Option 1 showed a list of credit cards which mine was there. The other option was Skrill which had a black dot already in its button place. I wanted to use my visa credit card so i went to click the the button for my choice but the black dot did not move at all and stayed fixed in the Skrill choice button place. So anyway i went to hit my choice when a small section popped up which was a request to add a new card.Then as i was filling the correct details out a message under each line had "Red" writing underneath asking to make sure details are correct. Anyhow This didn't allow me to make a transaction as it had a "Skrill" page taking over and a message saying "Processing please be patient" which ended up taking forever going nowhere fast.So I googled "Skrill" to find what it"s about. So I ended up joining "Skrill" putting all my credit, contact and residential details in. So i went back to the item i wanted to purchase and used the "Skrill" option as requested filled in a payment request which i filled out press pay and the same never ending slow process going nowhere page popped up. So i ended up being angry about the whole situation so i went in my accounts detail section on "Skrill ' and closed my account. I am at a total loss when all i wanted was to buy the cardigan using my visa which has plenty of funds and is not stolen so it's not a fraud purchase. Can you find a solution so I can just use my credit card and purchase my item. Awaiting for a hopeful positive solution as I have even used my "Paypal" account to purchase without any hassles as it has all my required details and you would know "Paypal" works.

Desired outcome: To successfully purchase the cardigan without any hassles.

DHGate.com Dhgate.com Review: Terrible Customer Service and Never Received What I Paid For

I've been using dhgate.com for a year now and I have to say, I'm not impressed. I've ordered 20 different items from them and not once have I received what I paid for. Every time I check the tracking information, my order has gone to a completely different state. When I call the local postal office, they tell me that it was delivered to the specific address because that's what is on the label. It's frustrating because I've had to open a dispute every single time just to get my money back or a replacement.

Their customer service is terrible. They're unprofessional and don't seem to know anything about what's going on. They end conversations with me abruptly and don't give me any information. It's like they're just there for show. And to make matters worse, they banned me from the site because I opened so many disputes. I've done nothing wrong, but I get punished for their mistakes.

One time, I asked for a replacement and the seller supposedly shipped the package to me, but they gave me the wrong tracking information. After months of trying to get in touch with them, I still haven't received anything. It's frustrating because I've never received anything I paid for out of 20 times. There's something more than just stupidity and careless errors happening.

I understand that there are some great items on the site, but I promise you, you'll never receive them. It's not worth the hassle. I've been so infuriated with these people that I've cried. It's not about the package or items, it's about how they conduct business. People spend their hard-earned money on the site and then never receive what they paid for. And then they get punished for it.

I've told them that I'm going to tell everyone I know about my experience with the site, and I am. I hope that you listen to my experience and don't waste your time or money. It's not worth it. I don't know how a company like this is allowed to do business. It's frustrating and ridiculous.

DHGate.com DHgate Review: Total Scam - Don't Waste Your Time or Money!

I gotta say, I'm not sure why this site has so many stars. I mean, just look at all the 1-star reviews below. It's pretty clear that this site is a total scam.

I had a really bad experience with DHgate. I ordered a product late at night because it was on sale and I needed it for my business. But after I placed the order, I realized that the seller didn't have certain test data posted that I needed to resell the product in Canada. So I sent an email to the seller through DHgate, but they didn't respond.

The next day, I reached out to DHgate and asked to cancel the order. But it's not like Amazon or other online websites where it's automated. You have to request it. DHgate didn't respond to my request, so I emailed them through their cancellation area 2 more times. But still no response.

Finally, after 3 days, I received notice that the item had shipped! DHgate never responded to me. I was so frustrated that I opened a chargeback with Visa. When the package arrived here by UPS, I refused it. Only then did DHgate reach out to me, asking why I refused the shipment. I explained everything to them, including their lack of response to my 3 emails asking to cancel. But they told me I needed to accept the shipment to make the claim. Are you kidding me?!

If I had accepted the shipment, I would have been out GST, broker fees, and UPS's usual extortion fees. I would also have been liable for the cost to ship the stuff back. I wasn't going to eat any of these costs when this should have simply never left China, and was 100% DHgate's fault.

After that, I tried to resolve this with DHgate through an open ticket via email. But they just kept telling me to go to pages that didn't exist, click a button that didn't exist, and talk to the seller who never replied. And then, after all that, they told me to talk to customer service, when that was who I was talking to through the cancellation channel. It was like they were just trying to wear me down until I gave up, and DHgate (not the seller) kept the cash.

If you're thinking of buying from DHgate, think again. Check the main page of the website and click on 'cancellation', 'disputes', or any of those feel-good buttons on the left side. They'll give you info that looks like you can do something, but there's no actual path to do so. I challenge you to find something. Stay away from this company. Their claims of escrow and buyer safety mean nothing, and you will not be able to recoup the funds if you get scammed.

DHGate.com Unethical Business: My Terrible Experience with DHgate

I gotta say, I had a pretty bad experience with DHgate. I ordered some Asics running shoes earlier this year and tried to pay with my credit card, but their website wouldn't accept it. So, I had to do a bank transfer using WiseTransfer. I waited a few days for the payment to go through, but when I contacted DHgate to check on the status of my order, they said they never received the payment. I checked with my bank and WiseTransfer and they both confirmed that the payment had already been completed and deposited into DHgate's bank account. I even verified that the account belonged to DHgate and that my order number was correct. But DHgate kept denying that they received the payment, even though I had evidence to prove it. I tried to get some answers from them, but they just ignored me. It's pretty clear that DHgate is an unethical business that's just trying to make a quick buck. They don't care about their customers and they think they can get away with it because they're based in China. But I'm not going to let them get away with it. I'm in the process of taking legal action against DHgate and I encourage anyone else who's been scammed by them to join me.

DHGate.com DHgate: The Worst Online Shopping Experience Ever!

I had a really bad experience with DHgate. I ordered a dress for my daughter's prom in March 2015. The payment went through fine and the seller promised delivery within 14 days. I checked the dhgate site and my messages every few days to see progress on my order. On the 14th of April 2015, the seller finally posted that the dress was shipped and provided a tracking number to track delivery via DHL. I tried to do just that and DHL had no information on that tracking number. I called DHL to get more information as the seller promised she shipped the dress. DHL checked every way they could for such a delivery, by name, state, zipcode, address etc... they had NOTHING, no such delivery was ever scheduled!

I contacted DHGATE customer service who told me I could make a dispute and they would not release payment until dispute was resolved. They offered ZERO insight as to how a seller could post a bogus tracking number and lie about the progress of order, simply register a dispute! So I followed the steps provided to register a dispute and was informed that I could not file a dispute at this time. I needed to wait x amount of days before I could file a dispute. The CSR I spoke with from DHGATE new everything about my problem including timeline and told me to register a dispute, never said anything about it being too early to do so.

Finally, I heard back from the seller who told me "I am sorry, I contacted the factory and they are still working on the dress. I promise you will have dress on time." SERIOUSLY! If the factory was still working on the dress why did the status change from in progress to shipped and why was I provided with a bogus tracking number? I am still confused as to how the seller is able to boldly lie to me and why DHGATE is not more helpful regarding that issue!

What should be a memorable and happy time for my daughter has left her in tears on several nights over a dress that probably does not exist! I would NEVER recommend to ANYONE to use DHGATE or any of their sellers! They do not check out their sellers before they allow them to sell on their site. They do not care about the customers. I am simply furious at the site, the seller and myself for putting such an important event in the hands of these people!

Sure, maybe I will get my money back on the dress but what about the $50 cancellation fee to the seamstress? I only made the appointment after I was promised delivery on or before a specific date. What about all the accessories we purchased to go with the dress that will not match the new dress we have to buy? I find them irresponsible, unreliable and untrustworthy!

Even worse, I tried to access the dhgate site today to check messages from CS and or seller and the site is not available! I guess I will have to have my credit card company dispute the charge as I am getting ZERO help from ANYONE at DHGATE. This was the WORST ONLINE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE EVER!

DHGate.com DHgate Review: Mixed Bag of Good and Bad Experiences

I gotta say, DHgate is a bit of a mixed bag. I mean, sure, some folks seem to have no problems at all, but if you're like me and things go sideways, you're in for a real headache.

Take my experience, for example. I made two purchases at the same time, and neither one ended up in my hands. But, get this, I still had to pay for one of them! Can you believe it? DHgate actually rewards sellers who don't play fair.

Let me break it down for you. For my first purchase, I picked a seller who shipped with FedEx Ground because I don't have USPS delivery. But, guess what? The seller didn't honor that and sent it with USPS anyway. And, surprise surprise, I never got it. When I asked DHgate to help me out, they just kept telling me to file a claim. But, since I'm not a USPS customer, I couldn't file one. DHgate just couldn't seem to understand that. And, get this, even though the seller never communicated with me or DHgate, they still got paid! DHgate just closed my claim and gave them my money. It was like talking to a brick wall.

For my second purchase, the seller straight up admitted they didn't have the product I ordered, but they still listed it as "shipped" on the DHgate website. They tried to get me to accept a substitute, but I refused. DHgate wouldn't refund my payment because the item was listed as "shipped," even though the seller didn't actually have it. It took over a month to get my refund, and the seller kept trying to get me to withdraw my claim so they could get paid. It was a real mess.

So, yeah, I'd say purchase at your own risk with DHgate. Some folks seem to have no problems, but if you're like me and things go wrong, you're in for a real headache.

DHGate.com Disappointing Experience with DHgate: Faulty Products and Frustrating Refund Process

I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with DHgate. I recently ordered two phones from them and both of them were complete duds. I mean, they didn't work at all. And when I tried to get a refund, they made it so difficult and frustrating.

First of all, they only offered me a partial refund of $35 for each phone. That's not even close to what I paid for them. And then, when I asked for a self-addressed prepaid shipping label so I could send the phones back, they refused. They wanted me to pay for shipping myself, which would have cost me more than the phones themselves.

I mean, come on. If you're going to sell products that don't work, at least make it easy for your customers to return them. And don't expect us to pay for your mistakes.

To make matters worse, their customer service is terrible. They don't respond to emails in a timely manner, and when they do, they don't actually address the issue. It's like they're just trying to get rid of me.

I'm not going to give up, though. I'm going to keep fighting for my refund and for better customer service. But I would definitely not recommend DHgate to anyone. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.

DHGate.com Terrible Experience with DHgate.com: Beware of Unreliable Portal Website

I recently had a terrible experience with DHgate.com and wanted to share my story with others. I ordered a dress on my phone through the website on January 15th and was charged $229.99 on my credit card. However, I did not receive any confirmation that my order had been processed or received by the company, other than the credit card charge and a text message from an unknown number on February 1st stating that my DHL shipment was scheduled for delivery.

When I received the dress, it was not as pictured or as ordered, and I was greatly dissatisfied with it. The packing slip even misspelled both my first and last names, and there was no order number included. I tried to contact customer service, but I was unable to open a formal dispute as I still had not received an order number. To make matters worse, my DHgate account was suspiciously suspended, which I did not request.

I spent hours on the phone with customer service, but they were unable to help me. They instructed me to log in to DHgate online and open a formal dispute, but I was still unable to do so without an order number. I requested that they connect me with the correct person to arrange for a return and full refund, but this never happened. I even threatened to report them to the Better Business Bureau, but they simply stopped responding to me.

I want to warn others not to use this website unless they are willing to take the risk of throwing their money down the drain. DHgate.com is not a reliable portal website, and they do not issue order numbers or confirmations, which makes it impossible to file a dispute with the seller. If you want to avoid wasting your time, money, and misfortune, stay away from DHgate.com.

DHGate.com Disappointing Experience with DHgate: Vendor Deceit and Poor Customer Service

I read some reviews about DHgate before I ordered some goods worth $900 from an international vendor on their website. Some reviewers warned against ordering from DHgate, but I thought I was safe because the vendor was established and I used my American Express card to order.

However, I was disappointed when I received only 10% of my order, and the items I did receive were not what I ordered. The chemical I received was supposed to pass through 300mesh, but it was mainly rock. I tried to resolve the issue with the seller, but they refused to pay for return shipping. I contacted DHgate customer service, and they assured me that the seller had to abide by the terms of the refund proposal, including paying for return shipping.

To make matters worse, I discovered that the product was illegal to ship internationally, and the seller had lied about its composition. USmail, USPS, and FedEx all refused to ship the product back to China because of its hazardous nature. I contacted DHgate again and provided evidence of the deceitful practice of the vendor, but I was surprised to find out that the funds had already been released to the vendor, and DHgate had no record of my dispute.

Thankfully, I used my American Express card, and I was able to get a refund within three days. However, the issue is not fully resolved yet, and DHgate mediation is still requesting more evidence. The vendor even thanked me for the full payment, even though they did not fulfill my order.

I hope my experience will deter others from ordering from DHgate, but if you do, make sure to use a credit card like American Express. My experience with getting a refund from Chase Visa was not as good as my experience with American Express. It has been a frustrating 3.5 weeks of back and forth, and I expect it will take another 3-4 weeks to resolve this issue.

I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with DHgate. They keep extending my processing date without telling me, and blaming it on the virus. But I've already received items I bought on Aliexpress, so what's the deal? It's like they're just trying to cheat me out of my money. First they said it would be done by Feb 29th, then March 10th, and now it's March 19th. And to make matters worse, the seller I bought from, niceshoestore, won't give me a refund. They say it's because of payment verification issues, but I don't believe them. DHgate told them to manually state that they would refund me $65, but they won't do it. I've tried talking to the admins about it, but they just tell me to talk to the seller. What's the point of having admins if they can't help you? And to top it all off, they keep extending the processing date, even though they can't process my order without my credit card picture. It's like they're just trying to scam me. And I'm not the only one who's had problems with them. If you look at the comments, everyone's complaining about refunds and being cheated. It's clear that DHgate doesn't care about their customers. They let scammers prey on innocent people and don't do anything about it. And have you noticed how their responses are all the same? It's like they don't even read your message. And they've even deleted bad comments from their Facebook page! I tried commenting a few times, but my comments disappeared. And I've seen other people's comments disappear too. It's like they're trying to hide something. I wouldn't recommend using DHgate. Stick with Aliexpress. They're honest and easy to use. Don't make the same mistake I did and lose $65. DHgate is full of crooks.
