I called this company out over 2 weeks ago. The owner came out the same day and we agreed on a price. I gave him a $1000 deposit, which he cashed right away. The owner told me that the fence would be put up in a few days at the latest. However, a week went by and I didn't hear anything from the owner. I called and didn't get a response. I called and texted the owner's phone for the last 2 weeks, but still no response. I left multiple messages. I think I might have been scammed by this company.

Bruce K Jones Fencing LLC was supposed to be the solution to my fencing needs, but unfortunately, it has been a disappointing experience. Initially, we agreed on a quote verbally on June 23rd, but it took until July 2nd for him to finally email it to me. This delay should have been a red flag. Despite this, we proceeded and sent a $4000 deposit (50%) to secure our spot for the last week of July.

However, even though it was the 4th of July weekend and the post office was closed, he kept pestering me about the payment's arrival. He insisted on receiving it right away, which should have been another warning sign. The last week of July came and went, and no work was started. Since then, there have been numerous broken promises.

Today is September 5th, and we still don't have a fence. Instead, our yard is cluttered with about 2 dozen posts left behind. The communication from Bruce K Jones Fencing LLC has been abysmal, and even if they do manage to communicate, they never stick to the agreed-upon installation dates. This whole situation has left me incredibly frustrated and feeling scammed. I just want my money back so I can hire someone else who will actually get the job done.

I signed an agreement on 8/19/22 with Bruce K Jones Fencing LLC to take down my old fence and put up a new one by 9-30-22. I paid a deposit of $2000 upfront. They said they would come for installation on either 9 12 or 9 13. But they never showed up and didn't respond to my calls, texts, or voicemails. After some searching, I found them and they agreed to install the fence on 9 28. But once again, they didn't show up. I left them voicemails, texts, and emails, but got no response for days. They made more promises to come on 10 2, 10-4, and 10-5, but they never showed up on any of those days. I called them, but their mailbox was full and they didn't respond. On 10-6-22, I sent them a Certified letter, but they didn't sign for it or answer. I also sent it to their only known email address, but got no response. They contacted me later, promising to return my funds by the end of last week, but I received nothing. Then they promised to give me a receipt today, but still nothing. I want my $2000 deposit back immediately. I have attached a copy of the agreement, the 10-6-22 letter, a copy of the check, and the estimate.

On 5/9/2022, this guy named *** came to my house to give me a quote for fixing my fence. He checked it out and left, but later in the day, he called me and gave me a quote of $3800.00. He said he wanted $2000.00 upfront. I agreed to give him $1500.00 in cash, and he said his wife would email me a receipt and a contract. He also mentioned that he was pretty busy and it would take about 3 to 4 weeks.

Then, on 5/14/2022, he sent someone to fix a small part of the fence in the back. But ever since then, it's been a lot of promises and no fence. On 6/17/2022, he texted me and said I was on the schedule for Wednesday, 6/22/2022. I called that morning, but he didn't answer. I even sent him a text, but still no response. When I got home, there was still no fence. He hasn't answered any of my calls or texts since then.

I want my money back, but I think he should deduct $100.00 because he did fix the back fence (which honestly didn't take more than half an hour). I actually liked and trusted this guy, but now I've learned my lesson about trusting people.
