Brightspeed review: Phone company

"brightspeed" purchased "Century Tel" telephone company in October 2022.
I received my first statement from them that month assuming I would have the same service as the charge was the same, $92.61 (+/-).
My origional service consisted of two products - 1. Unlimited long distance phone calls, and 2. DSL internet speed, 100KB/S (as I live in a rural area with only dial-up speed, 18 KB/S.
I discovered shortly that due to my filing a complaint about not receiving information on a "late" charge - none what so ever - my DSL internet speed was gone. Reduced to dial-up speed, 18KB/S. However, I am being charged the DSL price.
