I am so glad that I never got very far with Brave Health. I began laughing when the service representative told me we would begin with 80 questions to complete within the hour. I thought she was joking and trying to make me feel more comfortable. In short, I was extremely stressed and my head hurt by the end of the hour. And then, the representative told me she needed to take another call because our session wasn't completed. I will need to do the process all over again to be "accepted." 2 stars were given because none of this was the representative's fault.

I went on this site cuz my insurance told me to. My life's been a mess since my son died and I need help. But after I read the reviews, I'm out. I can't deal with staff who can't even understand my insurance. No thanks.

I had a bad experience with Brave Health, Inc. I tried to sign up as a patient on 5/26, but they said they took my insurance when they really didn't. They scheduled me for a video interview with a doctor, but I got a rep instead. Then, they rescheduled me for today, but I got a psych nurse who wasn't licensed in NY. When I called to ask about my insurance, they couldn't find it. Later, they called me back and said they didn't take my insurance after all. It's really upsetting and scary to think that they just wanted my personal info and didn't care about giving me services. I hope I don't get a bill from them. I just want everyone to know that they trick you into giving them your personal info.

They said they take my insurance, but they can't tell me how much I'll have to pay. I had to call my insurance and they didn't know either. BraveHealth can't even tell me how much they charge for an evaluation because they don't have the right codes. They said I'll be charged after the visit, which doesn't make sense. I work in health insurance and I know that people should know how much they'll have to pay before getting services. My first appointment was a disaster. No one showed up and I had to call them multiple times to set up a new one. When I finally saw the psychiatrist, I didn't like her at all. She was dismissive and didn't seem to care about my problems. She said I was an addict just because I mentioned I was in treatment a long time ago. She refused to treat me unless I went to AA, which I can't do because I'm in a wheelchair. I only wanted psychotherapy to go with my medication, but she discharged me because I didn't agree with her. Later, I got a bill for over $500 saying the visit wasn't covered. I feel like I got scammed and I'm really angry.

My kid (***) been going to Brave Health for a bit now. We been trying to get a letter signed by his doc. We gotta renew my kid Military ID card and according to the *** we gotta have a letter signed by his doc. We even had *** call Ms. and explain that this is a normal request with the Secondary Dependency section. They are apart of the *** of *** We called since March 2022 and was told to send our request to *** Ms. works in this department. She told us that none of the docs ever sign letters. If we don't get a letter signed by his doc, we lose my kid's health insurance and all medication (Mental Health). As of today, there ain't no letter. Even though Ms. told me that she will try to get a doc to sign off on a letter last week. CEO *** Please try to help us. Thank you
