Brandon Honda Service fees exorbitant

Service fees exorbitant. Slow even with appointment. Offered rebate of evaluation charge with purchase of service reneged. Most expensive car wash I ever got.

GENERAL BUYER BEWARE WARNING: (FINANCING DEPARTMENT)

My girlfriend bought a used car from Brandon Honda this past weekend, and I went with her to help ensure she received a fair deal and was not being taken advantage of. I've purchased from dealerships before, and I wanted to make sure all was transparent in the transaction.

First and foremost, I would like to say that our Sales Rep, Brandon T., did an amazing job. He was helpful, knowledgeable on the various types of vehicles we were looking at and had a personable (non-pushy) personality. He worked with us for a couple of hours, as we test drove six different cars. I'd give Brandon 5/5 stars. My gripe comes with the sales manager and finance manager's less than honest tactics.

Upon showing the Internet pricing for the vehicle we wanted to purchase, the sales manager added a $1790 line item into the preliminary bill of sale without mentioning it. The line item was listed for a Member Advantage Program that came FREE with every purchase of a used or new vehicle. When I asked what the charge was, he stated that the fee could not be removed as they were honoring the Internet price. This was not the case, as the program was FREE with ALL purchases, according to the website and 20-foot banner on their showroom wall. Long and short of it, after a few rounds of going back and forth, the sales manager ended up removing the $1790 line item for the FREE program. That was settled. Now on to the financing department.

My major complaint is with the finance associate that we dealt with. As with any auto finance department, they try to sell you packages to include in your financing terms for car care, maintenance, etc. This helps to make up for some of the negotiations lost on the sale price of the vehicle. Upon sitting with "Joe/John/Jose" (I can't remember his name), we let him know that we were not looking to purchase any additional packages, and would just like to finance the purchase price agreed upon with the Sales Manager, minus our trade-in value of $1000, and an additional $6000 down, leaving us to finance roughly $10,903.00.

As soon as we stated we did not want to purchase any additional packages, "Joe/John/Jose's" demeanor and attitude instantly changed. He became short, and tried to rush through the bill of sale and contract, scrolling down on his screen to show only the final monthly payment, not what was actually included in the contract.

I've been in this situation before, and I asked him to scroll back up on his screen to go through the various line items, as I saw one that didn't make sense to me. In addition to the AMOUNT FINANCED, and COST OF FINANCING (the amount of interest we would pay across the life of the loan), there was an additional $3800.00 line item stated for LOAN PROCESSING FEE, which was added to the cost of financing total.

I asked him what that line item was, as it brought our total cost of financing up to be MORE than our original loan amount of $10,903.00. When I asked him to explain the $3800.00 line item, he didn't answer and scrolled back down and said, "this will be your monthly payment," showing the monthly payment again at the bottom of the contract. I asked him to scroll back up again and explain what the $3800.00 charge was for and he scrolled back up to it, didn't answer AGAIN, and scrolled back down to the monthly payment, saying "it's all part of the financing. This total at the bottom is what your monthly payment will be." I now demanded, for a third time, that he explain it, and he quickly moved his monitor back toward him, so we couldn't see it, then deleted the $3800.00 line item, and showed us again, now with the $3800.00 line item removed, STILL not explaining what it was, simply saying, "See, it's been removed."

This is when I asked to speak with a Finance Manager to explain what the $3800.00 was for, as well as explain the COST OF FINANCING, as that total was higher than our original total loan amount, as "Joe/John/Jose" was not able (or willing) to explain it.

The finance manager came in and explained the cost of financing (now not including the $3800.00 loan processing fee), as a simple amortized loan, where the majority of the monthly payment goes toward the financing, vs the principal. I understand what an amortized loan is, so it made sense, but he did not address the previous $3800.00 "loan processing fee." I didn't push the issue as it was finally removed, and I didn't want it to escalate further, so my girlfriend and I played it cool. We were very upset about how the situation was handled, or "ignored" when asked three times. Once explained by the finance manager, "Joe/John/Jose" rushed to get our paperwork signed as quickly as possible, scrolling through everything as fast as he could, only showing her where to sign.

All in all, I understand that dealerships make their money on "packages" and the financing, but trying to "slip in" a $1790 charge for something that is free... AND a $3800 charge as a "loan processing fee" without explanation is a very shady way to do business.

In the end, it worked out, as I caught the line items before anything was signed, so we didn't get taken advantage of and we got the deal we agreed to, but the process left an extremely sour taste in our mouths.

I'm leaving this review so future buyers know to be VERY CAUTIOUS whenever signing a contract and financing an auto loan. Make sure you question anything that doesn't seem right to you and go over everything with a fine-toothed comb that doesn't fully make sense before signing anything.

Apparently from other reviews and complaints, this situation has been realized by a number of other buyers that didn't catch it until it was too late. I can only imagine how many people end up signing without knowing about the additional fees added until after the contract is signed and they are already home.

Once again, Brandon T. did an excellent job. Give that guy a raise. ...But BUYER BEWARE when it comes to reviewing your contract and your interaction with the financing department at this dealership.

Very unpleasant buying experience. We were misled greatly while signing the paperwork for a new vehicle. Two charges were slid in that we had no idea we were signing for while flying through the paperwork - which we didn't notice until later. ($1k each for interior damage repair warranty and an app - was not explained). The paperwork was originally financed for the wrong term length. The numbers don't add up - there was a blame on the computer screen that said it was an outdated system and sometimes glitched but the math didn't make sense. It added when it should have subtracted - I have photograph proof of such glitch. I was financed $48k for a $30k car. I believe Brandon Honda recognized my inexperience in buying a car and used every opportunity to take advantage of me. I even took my paperwork to a different Honda dealership and had them review it - they agreed that I was unfairly handled. I never haggled or tried to bring pricing down in the initial buying stage - I just wanted to buy a car fairly. It's a shame that I thought being nice and trying to buy without giving them hassle resulted in me having a lot of hassle to deal with. After reviewing the paperwork we realized just how much we had been taken advantage. We re-worked a contract after they refused to give me my car back during the 3 day cooling off period. My car was offsite, would have taken hours to retrieve, already being cleaned, isn't guaranteed to be given back, etc.

Beware before you sign. You'll pay 8000 dollars more in hidden charges on their "free" warranty. And they'll embarrass you in front of everyone when you try to leave. Horrible experience. First and last time I will ever go there.

Considered going to this place because of the great reviews, but that is only in their website. If you search furthermore you will find how they screw people over. Let me start by saying sale representative Salah was great to work with. On the other hand the finance manager Luis was a nightmare. Unfortunately it was closing time when we finally sat with him. He Had my son signing papers without explaining. We left the dealer with the car but without loan approval and no paperwork. Luis worked on my son's account for almost two weeks. When we finally was able to sit with him and complete the purchase I noticed some things off with the paperwork. The trade in value was short of what we agreed. The down payment was not included in the paperwork. The car cost was $15,000 plus $10,000 dealer and bank fees. When I questioned he would just ignore me and stay quite. I said my son didn't want GAP(still was included), My son also didn't want the dealer "complementary"package of over $3,000 which my son had to pay for but was told it must be included. As a woman and my son being first time car buyer I felt we was treated very disrespectful. My son and I decided to return the car. Luis stormed out and left. The store manager took over and convinced us to buy the car and asked Luis to come back to finalized the purchase. The trade in was raised and included in the paper work. Luis kept yelling at me interrupting the store manager asking what I wanted. We finally left the dealer with only the loan papers but not with everything my son signed. The only good thing he did was have my son approved by himself without adding me as a co-signer. My experience with Salah was so great that I considered going back to buy my car but after our experience with Luis I don't want to set foot in that place ever again. I Will never recommend friends and family to go there.

Brandon Honda is a very dishonest dealer. I bought new Honda Accord on June 23. after agreeing to terms of the sale from salesman Chris I. I was under the impression that after putting $17000 down ($15000 in cash) , I would have 48 month loan with payment about $280. In fact finance manager Chris S. added $3912 to finance balance without my knowledge or consent. The fees where for Fidelity service new and used--$1656, Fidelity stand alone---$1471 and road hazard---$785. Yes, I signed the contract on an electronic board and I did not see items in question. Mr. S. did not say anything to me about the charges added,

I didn't get copy of the contract, was told it would be mailed. To date have not received any paperwork. I only found out about extra charges through Honda web site . I call Mr. Irvin on June 30 to discuss contract. Mr. Irvin said he would fix it. . Again on July 1st Mr. Irvin said get back to me. July 2nd was told to come down Friday or Monday to rewrite contract. Never get conformation as to what date or time to came down. I wanted $3912 removed from finance amount and 48 month term. Never received call. I reached out to managing partner. Mr. David F. responded and said insurance policy was canceled . I called daily, till on July 8, finance sales and I would come together and resolve this .Got an Email July 9th from Mr. S. to sign and return cancellation form, which did. was told cancellation would take 4 to 6 weeks. The
full $3912 would be returned to the lienholder.

The problem is that I am paying interest on the $3912 as well as having 60 months and payment much more that is expected. This was dishonest and deceiving to their customers. Stay away from Brandon Honda.

PURCHASE TO LEASE SWITCH SCAM at Brandon Honda. If I could give less than a one I would. Three years ago I went to Honda to purchase my 1st brand new car. I signed all of the paperwork with Chris S. I was so happy! 12 days later he calls me back and tells me that he found a lender that would work with me to lower my payment by $100. I thought, "Wow, Brandon Honda is so nice!" Boy was I wrong. I signed the new paperwork on the computer table as it zoomed past me, all while trusting Brandon Honda and it's employees. Two weeks later, I get paperwork in the mail thanking me for leasing a new Honda. I was very confused. I called, went in, and was told there was nothing that could be done. I had had the car for about a month. I was completely devastated, crying etc. Now, its time to turn the car in and I am going to be charged close to $2000 in fees if I don't purchase a new or used car with them. I have lost all faith in Honda and their company. If I have to pay anything, besides the mileage over, that Chris S. said I would be charged, which is 10 cents per mile I will be looking into further action. Hopefully, David F., general manager, will renew my faith and show me that Brandon Honda is not the dishonest company that they have previously shown me.

They lie. I mad an appointment 3 days ago to change oil in my Honda Accord. The appointment should take between 30 and 60 minutes. When I arrived, Michael told me that there were 6 cars ahead of me, and and it would take 3 hours or more. I had already scheduled my day's activities and could not afford waiting for 3 hours or more. So I left and would never come back to Brandon Honda. All this happens because they prefer customers with more expensive repairs. Just oil change is not as profitable. Bye, Brandon Honda!

The dealer is good but careful with the saler EDDIE GUADALUPE, He is an unethical person, he is able to lie just to sell, he talks a lot about how he has been working at the dealer for many years, he sells to many people but unfortunately he takes advantage from those who do not speak English well, because we asked him several questions and we explained our situation to him and he told us that everything would be done this way and today that the car papers arrived from the bank ,they were not in the terms that we had said.

Brandon Honda On 3 November I scheduled an appointment to get an oil change at Brandon Honda

On 3 November I scheduled an appointment to get an oil change at Brandon Honda. The appointment was for 5 November. On 4 November I got an email from Brandon Honda asking me if I'd be willing to get an appraisal on my car and get a $25 gift card as a result. The appraisal was only a verbal one and given verbally to me by Chett T.. I asked him when I would get the gift card. He said it would come to me in about 10 days to two weeks and be sent by a third party. I got his business card in case he said what would happen didnt happen. On 24 November since the time frame was well past what he told me I called his work number. When he answered I told him that I still hadnt gotten the gift card when he said I would. He then said he was eating lunch with his family and he told me he would call me today which is 26 November and then he hung up on me. He acted like I bothered him when he was eating lunch with his family. He answered the phone! Today is 26 November and he didnt call me like he said he would. He obviously lied.

I purchased my 2019 Honda Odyssey EX-L new in June . I chose Brandon Honda because of the "Lifetime unlimited time, unlimited mileage warranty good at any certified Honda dealership anywhere in the US or Canada." Today, February 11, 2022 I am at Bedard Brothers Honda dealership in Cheshire, MA seeking service and/or repairs. When I called Fidelity, the warranty company that covers my vehicle, I was told that my warranty expired. I called Brandon Honda to speak to someone about the warranty and I was told that my warranty expired at 60,000 miles. This is NOT what I purchased as my documentation says that my warranty is lifetime and it IS NOT being honored.

Went to this dealership at the end of January to buy a car. Had papers filled out and was already insured on a 2015 civic with low miles. They sold the car out from under me while I was waiting for the finance office to get to my paper work. That was bad business break number 1. After picking out another car they told me I HAD to buy a Honda Care package. I refused and they told me its just what they do its that or nothing. Come to find out I never had to buy that package and that I have 30 days to cancel to get a full refund. After this dealership gave me the required form to fill out and I then sent it back on Feb. 14, 2022 and have not heard a word from this dealership since. This was a time sensitive manner and they have ignored my emails and phone calls about cancelling this item that I never wanted in the first place. Them charging me an extra 2200 dollars hurt me getting a good lender, have raised my payment of the loan and the amount of interest paid over said loan.

Lied to by the Finance Manager I don't know where to start honestly, Long story short I went to purchase a vehicle found the vehicle I liked and started the process. After the normal process the Finance Manager said I was approved and I was able to leave with the car. But what was weird is when I left I had no paperwork to leave with which is odd. I was to told to come back the next day an make my down payment which is fine. I come back the next day to make my payment and I told the manager I would like my paperwork before I make my down payment and he says well we still working on it but your approved. Long story short after leaving with vehicle as it was mine I get a call saying we wasn't able to get to you approved and will have to have the car BACK. What kind of company does this get your hopes up let you leave with the car and tell you the next day your not approved. Complete lies don't tell people they are approved and they are not. After 4 hours of my time and 13 hard inquiries later I have to take the car back. Now I'm stuck with 13 hard inquiries for 2 years due to there lies.

We purchased a Civic Type R from Brandon Honda in September . At the time of the purchase they offered us a third party refundable warranty and we purchased from them. We sold the car a few months later. Since then we have been trying to get our refunds from the warranty. We been told by the finance manager Kasandra warranty been cancelled but we haven't get our money back until today (01/14/2022). The whole process been going on almost a year. We came to Brandon Honda multiple times to ask for the process but Everytime is the same answer.

On December I purchased a vehicle with Brandon Honda. They failed to provide me with my registration renewal. I have attempted to reach out to the company and got told the DMV needs to send it to me but when I contacted the DMV they told me the dealership needs to provide the information to me. They sent me a letter advising this when I attempted to report it "LOST IN TRANSIT" if Brandon Honda cannot provide me with a renewal sticker then I would be responsible for a fee which I don't think I should be responsible when this wasn't my fault. I have attempted to reach out to managers/financial advisors, etc. and no one is returning my calls. I have been stopped my law enforcement already regarding not having a renewal sticker on my tag.

Brandon Honda We were promised compensation on a broken visor before buying the car which we were never compensated and I was promised gas money

We were promised compensation on a broken visor before buying the car which we were never compensated and I was promised gas money. We went to Brandon Honda and dealt with salesman, Khalid, in which we noticed a broken visor on the driver's side during the test drive and before purchasing the vehicle we were promised to receive a gift card of $100 to be able to get the visor fixed on our own time. We bought the vehicle in February and this is now August in which we have not received any compensation and my husband is riding around in a car with a broken visor in which he has had to tape up so it won't continue to fall down in his face constantly. Also, I was promised to receive compensation for gas in which I had to take my husband to Brandon/Tampa from Sarasota to give these people a check for the down payment. I have not received anything and we have been in communication with Chris who works in the financial department. We bought this car under the faith that Khalid and Chris would follow through with their promises because we were due to go see another car here in Sarasota the same day however we trusted their word and over 6 months later we still haven't received anything. Please don't trust anything they say because their Word is Unreliable!

I am a US Army veteran, a small business owner, and a single parent that is a member of the Tampa Bay community. I have been taken advantage of and lied to by Brandon Honda. On December 23 I went to Brandon Honda at around 7:30 in the morning for an oil change. I had been receiving text messages from the sales person Darien S. for me to bring my car that I purchased from them the year prior in to sell it to them. I purchased the vehicle that I had from Brandon Honda in October . This was purchase was my families 3rd purchase from this dealership. Darian advised me that he had someone that wanted to purchase a vehicle similar to mine and he was looking for cars like mine and they were willing to pay more than I paid for it at the time. When I received his messages I was traveling and I was unsure as to whether or not I was ready to purchase a new vehicle. Over the course of a few weeks I received several more messages from Darien. I've also received several emails from Brandon Honda regarding selling them my vehicle. On the date that I decided to go in for my oil change my daughter and I walked around the lot for about two hours before the sales people came in I had decided at that point if they were going to give me a fair amount for my car and get me a good deal where I pay $500 or less a month then I was going to sell them my vehicle. I went into the dealership after walking around looking at the vehicles and deciding on which vehicle I wanted. I decided I wanted the 2022 Honda Civic. From the sticker price I thought the car was about $26,000. Due to the fraudulent add one and an unauthorized bank fee I will end up paying $55,000 for a $26,000 car. After going through all of the details with Darien I waited about 5 or 6 hours. Darien then came back with a sheet of paper that advised that they needed additional $2000 down and the payments would start at 777 I believe. I advised Darian that none of that was doable and that I didn't feel like I needed any additional money but it was something that I would have to seriously think about and it was something that I would need to do at a later date, as I had no additional funds due to it being Christmas. Darien stated these were just preliminary figures, the state maximum they were allowed to charge not what they were negotiating. I advised that I could not pay more than 550 max per month and I did not have any money down for that day. At that time he also mentioned a bank fee to transfer the title. That fee was about $4000 but his manager said to go ahead and do it. After about eight hours, a full workday, no food, no drinks, myself and my daughter we're beyond exhausted and irritated. Darian comes over and asked if we've gone to finance he goes oh great you're back. I said no we haven't been anywhere. We wait an additional two hours. They have at this point taken the tag off of my vehicle put my tag on the new vehicle have not advise me of any information I'm just waiting. I finally going to finance the person who I believed was the finance manager stated that they got me the deal that I wanted at the same terms that I had discussed with my sales manager. What I discuss with my sales manager was no additional money down and no more than $500 a month. That is the deal that I thought that I received. The finance manager did not break down any information, in fact he stepped out of the room and was gone for about five minutes while he told me to go ahead and sign and initial the documents. Before he did that he advised that the extended warranty and the Brandon care plan were a requirement of the lender to protect myself and them. Especially since this was an electrical car and it's a very expensive problem to fix. At the end of this transaction I was advised that they needed an additional $2000 from me, as I stated before I did not have these funds they advised that they would need to place a hold on a check and then I could take the vehicle I advised him that the earliest that I would potentially have these funds would be that following Friday. They attempted to place a hold on my checking account, that was not authorized I was asked for them to make a copy of my debit card and to sign off giving them authorization to charge my card the following Friday, I did. After they making me wait an additional hour and a half for this I was finally able to leave the premises. When I left I had no receipts no paperwork no documentation of any transaction the only thing that I had from Brandon Honda was the vehicle registration which was placed in the vehicle for me. After talking to my uncle I found out I was lied to and that the terms were not what was discussed with me. On Monday I contacted Brandon Honda as I did not have any sort of bill of sale proof of payment or any copy of anything that was signed or a contract. In addition the bank fee that the dealership said they were paying was added on to the loan. When the dealership was advised that I did not have a copy of any documentation or paperwork I was called a liar. When I spoke with the sales rep and I advised him that I had not received any paperwork he insisted that he could send it to me via email. I still have not received this paperwork. At that time I also advised Darien S. my sales representative that I was uncomfortable with the terms of the contract, as I was told by the finance manager that the extend and additional warrantees and packages were a requirement of the lender. I learned after I left the dealership that that is a lie. Almost $10,000 plus $4000 worth of additional fees and charges for a lie. My uncle is a finance manager at a Honda in New York City he attempted to contact a finance manager at this Honda dealership and was given the run around. He repeatedly asked for the same documentation that I never received and was given the runaround. When he asked for additional details and information about the deal the finance manager at Brandon Honda lied about me,lied about the deal, and still has not provided any documentation. As I have stated to both Darien s. and anyone else that I have spoken to at Brandon Honda I want this deal reworked with just the cost of the vehicle and gap insurance. The additional Brandon coverage was provided to me with my last vehicle purchase free of charge. I have called every day since I purchase this vehicle, I have requested to follow up phone call from management, I have requested documentation that I do not have no less than five times, as of today January 6, 2022 I still do not have a copy of my contract or any of the documentation related to the sale of the 2022 Honda Civic that I purchased from Brandon Honda. I also still have now spoken to a manager or the general manager despite my number outs phone calls and emails. I have left several messages for the general manager, I have sent several emails requesting that the general manager contact me, there have been text messages between my uncle and the finance manager stating that I want to speak with the general manager as well as stating the resolution that I am looking for. At this point the complaintsboard.com, corporate Honda, social media, and my attorney will all be contacted. The only resolution that I am looking for is for Brandon Honda to do the right thing, sell the vehicle at a fair price, and stop the fraud. If I do not hear from someone within the next 24 to 48 hours with regards to a resolution to my issue I will be forced to move forward with having my attorney look at all avenues for recourse. I have also contacting the lender to advise them of the fraudulent practices of the finance managers at Brandon Honda. I did not want this to get to this, however, when a business is not responsive to a consumer after they have lied and committed fraud this is the end result. Hopefully Brandon Honda takes this message and does the correct thing.

Brandon Honda Sales management is out of line with no respect to consumers I came to honda 3/2 for service after a disgusting issue with Wesley Chapel honda

Sales management is out of line with no respect to consumers I came to honda 3/2 for service after a disgusting issue with Wesley Chapel honda. The service advisor was very accommodating and went out of his way to make sure i was informed and in and out at ease. When i returned my loaner car i sat with chris i.. That man is so rude .. first off as a customer you expect someone to be polite and paid attention to.. not only did he ignore me he was unfriendly and disrespectful... i sat down at his desk and he asked me my pay off while i was on phone he was texting other people on his phone which was no big deal but once i hung and told him the numbers he then continued to ignore me and text on his phone eventually he sorta talked briefly to me.. barely responding he just sat texting on his phone ...moments later a call came in to his personal phone and he blatantly ignored me and began to ask the woman on phone how he can get her into that new honda pilot and started ignoring me having a full on conversation in front of me! Disgusting behavior! I immediately got up and left i called store asked for his supervisor and left a complaint with him i also reported this to corporate as well ... absolutely nobody deserves that type of treatment for any reason and idk what type dealership you run here but my first time coming here after bad vehicle at Wesley chapel id mark your dealership as a big F FOR FAILURE. Not only is your " manager" hurtful disrespectful and extremely rude its a disgrace.

I paid off my vehicle 5 years early in April and contacted Brandon Honda in regards to cancelling my GAP insurance on the vehicle. I spoke to Robin O. the financial assistant who took all my details, I submitted the documentation that was requested and was told on 06/9 they had everything they needed. I followed up on 07/05 and was told on 07/06 that the warranty clerk was out for an unexpected amount of time and I should receive a check in a week or two. On 7/21 I followed up again with Robin, then on 07/26, and again on 07/30. I received a response on 08/04 and was told everything has been forwarded as urgent.. was this not already forwarded on 07/06? It is now another two weeks and I have heard nothing. I have been attempting to resolve this for two months. The messages say Morgan Auto Group but the number and extension dials to Brandon Honda. I should not have to chase to get a refund, I have been so patient. There have been 19 emails back and forth.

We requested an extended service warranty from the finance rep at Brandon Honda when we purchased the vehicle. He said the extended warranty with Fidelity Warranty Services would start when the original warranty expired. We never received a warranty contract from Fidelity. I've made many calls to Brandon Honda Finance department to resolve. I've left numerous messages with no callback. I called Fidelity and the rep was able to locate my contract and they stated that my start dated was when I purchased the vehicle on 3/14. So, I paid for a warranty unnecessary during the time I was also covered by the original warranty. I feel this was either deceptive or a mistake. Either way, it should be resolved.

I was offered a $25 gift card for test driving a vehicle. I drove a Hyundai from their lot on August 18 and was told I would receive my gift card within 2-3 weeks. I've e-mailed them several times inquiring about my gift card, but I get no response.

Brandon Honda advertises a $100 referral fee for referring new clients to purchase a vehicle at the dealership. This was also discussed at the time that I purchased my vehicle from Brandon Honda. Earlier this year, *** and *** A. purchased a new vehicle from Brandon Honda and provided my contact information for the referral fee. I have received nothing from the dealership. I have corresponded multiple times with Brandon B., a Relationship Manager for Brandon Honda (phone XXX-XXX-XXXX/email: ***@brandonhonda.edealerhub.com) and have received no responses.

Brandon Honda I purchased a 2019 Honda accord sport from Brandon Honda

I purchased a 2019 Honda accord sport from Brandon Honda. I also purchased GAP insurance. I have paid the vehicle off, and I requested a refund of my remaining GAP insurance. I have communicated in email initially to Rich M., after my initial contact, I did not get anymore responses from him. I was then given Robin O.contact information. I was told to fill out a form to get my remaining GAP back. This was January 13, 2022. I filled out the form, scanned it and emailed it back. I got a response back from Robin O., "Thank you. I will get this processed". On January 24th, I sent Robin O. an email requesting an update. I did not get a response back. On January 26th 2022 I sent Robin O. another email. in the email I wrote "3rd and final request. Can I gat an update on the process for getting my remaining GAP payment back.". I did not get a response back. On February 16 2022 I sent Robin O. another email with the following text "Hello, can I get an update on this." I did not get a response back. On February 21, 2022 I sent Robin O. another email stating "I need an update on this. Really I need my GAP refund. My next communication is to Honda Corporate." I finally got a response on Feb 22, 2022, the email stated "Hello, My sincere apologies in my delay in response. Everything has been submitted to the warranty company and I would expect you to receive the refund in 14 business days!" To date I have not received my GAP refund, and I am requesting a refund from the date that I submitted the form for my GAP refund which is over two months ago.

Brandon Honda I bought a van from Brandon Honda back in Feb 2018 and also purchased an extended warranty for $2,140 and a pre-paid maintenance package for $1

I bought a van from Brandon Honda back in Feb 2018 and also purchased an extended warranty for $2,140 and a pre-paid maintenance package for $1,076. A couple weeks later I worked with Jeremiah S. requesting over email to cancel only the pre-paid maintenance package and retain the extended warranty. Jeremiah had me fill out a form where I specified which policy to cancel and provided by my bank information and signed the form so he could proceed with the cancellation. Weeks went by and I never received the refund. I contacted Jeremiah several times over email asking for a status of the refund. He said wait 6 weeks, so I did. 6 weeks came and went and I still never received the refund. It turns out that Jeremiah never sent the forms in, and he then proceeded to forge a new form on my behalf where he selected off both policies to cancel, signed his name, left my signature blank, dated both signature boxes as 2/18 even thought this was filled out in April, and instead of using my bank account number on the form, he proceeded to look up my SSN and use that instead. He then submitted the forged form and cancelled both of my policies. A few days later I noticed a larger-than-expected refund and contacted him and discovered this forged document canceled both my policies. I had them resolve that, or so I thought until January 2022 when I went to bring my van in for work and realized the warranty was never re-instated. I've been in contact with "Sha in finance" (don't know how to spell it) and explained the situation. After weeks he came back and said I would have to pay $3,500 for the warranty and I said it's not fair I pay more for your company's mistake, and he said he would get back to me within 48 hours. This was 10 days ago and he *** not answer or return my phone calls.

Brandon Honda The date that I was sold the vehicle was October 6

The date that I was sold the vehicle was October 6. There was no money exchanged except for the trade in value for my 2018 Nissan Rogue. When I spoke with the finance manager, I told him I wanted a lower priced trade in vehicle. He assured me that he could provide that and expounded on the benefits of the lower interest rate on the 2018 Honda CRV that was brought to the front of the dealership. My complaint is that I was ram-roded into signing for an over priced vehicle that I told him, in tears, that I could not afford! The vehicle was then registered in my name, I was sent off with no signed paperwork in hand, and told that I would be notified when the price was lowered to return and sign new paperwork. I was also told that the vehicle had never been in an accident, but when I got it home and looked on the passenger's side, the entire wheel well cover was missing and there were gouges of paint missing along the top of the housing, indicating a prior accident! Long story short; I have received, to dated, 7 denial letters from banks and loan companies due to disproportionate income to debt ratio standards that Brandon Honda ignored while they proceeded to finance that vehicle. I called them repeatedly inquiring if the payments had been lowered and was given the run around until finally being "summoned" to return to sign paperwork. While finally seated in finance office, was told that due to Brandon Honda's standard regarding income they could not lower the payments! By that time I had the vehicle for about 1 month! When I reminded the finance officer of our earlier conversation of not being able to afford the payments, he said, "we're giving you an extra month to get the first payment in." I was overwhelmed. I only owed $23,000 on my vehicle and now I owe twice as much, $46,000 on a vehicle of the same year! I believe Brando Honda is using heinous predatory practices on lower income customers! I reached out to Mr. John M., but he has not responded.

Brandon Honda October 5,2001 I bought a car from brandon honda

October 5,2001 I bought a car from brandon honda..that was originally listed for 20,900, they charged me 21,900 for the vehicle stating a computer error and maintenance completed on the vehicle. .i put 4,000 down on the vehicle...the staff lied and told me it was required by the loan company for approval that I buy a extended warranty and Brandon honda maintenance package. After speaking to the loan company they said that was not true. I explained that to the staff; they forced me to purchase a maintenance package that I repeatedly disagreed with and asked not to pay for because I did not need it. I spoke with a manager and he said the only thing he could do was take a 1000 dollars off the 2500 maintenance package that I didn't want. Brandon honda told me that the loan company charged me a bank acquisition fee of 1500 dollars, after speaking with the loan company they denied that fee and confirmed they only charge a bank acquisition fee when a customer is leasing a vehicle only. I'm buying. I had to returned the vehicle the next day due to break issues, after 3 days the change oil soon light displayed. I called Brandon about this is and no one contacted me back regarding this maintenance package that I was forced to buy in which the vehicle need few days after purchase. They force you to buy plans you dont want then dont honor them. They add fraudulent bank acquisition fees to the contract; which the back deny. They required I put a extra 1000 dollars down and added a extra false fee. I asked several times to pay for the car and required fees only, they refused and force me to pay for their maintenance packages and fraudulent fees. They vehicle was 21,900 after the 1,000 increase from the price online that was supposedly a computer glitch. The ending sale price is 25,794 after the forced maintenance package and fraudulent 1,500 dollar acquisition fee that the bank confirmed they did not charge me because I'm not leasing the vehicle; Brandon honda charged me

Brandon Honda On January 15th 2022, I financed a used vehicle from honda due to having paid my lease agreement off and being able to trade in my car early

On January 15th 2022, I financed a used vehicle from honda due to having paid my lease agreement off and being able to trade in my car early. I traded in my lease for an older vehicle knowing my credit was sub-par and agreed to an astronomical interest rate. After I signed the agreement and the finance manager accepted my down payment and the sale was complete I received a text message from my sales representative stating that there were missed documents I needed to sign from the bank. On the 26th on January I returned to sign the non- existent bank papers. The financial manager to spoke to me for 4 minutes of the 3 hours I was there and his only input was "I'm on the phone with the bank now I should be right over" and he never returned. I was advised by the sales representative that the bank fee for processing my loan was higher than they anticipated due to my credit score and the dealership was unwilling to pay the fee. When I asked to speak to the financial manager for clarification on the situation he never returned. I was never asked for proof of income or bank statement which I had prepared. The General manager instructed employees "not to touch the situation or deal with me", specifically one of the customer relationship managers who made me aware of these instructions because he found it unethical and inappropriate. My sales representative informed me they were going to return my leased vehicle to me and keep the car i had already signed and put a downpayment on 11 days prior. When a finance manager came to speak to me after hours of waiting he was in violation of the fair credit act by disclosing my credit information to a third party that was with me. He also continued to call me "ma" and when I asked him not to he sarcastically referred to me as senorita and continued to disregard my concerns. The dealership took no accountability nor did they apologize for their unethical practices and gender offensive language. My down payment was also not returned.

Brandon Honda Brandon Honda will not honor internet price and wants me to pay for added services not mentioned while you signing the contract

Brandon Honda will not honor internet price and wants me to pay for added services not mentioned while you signing the contract. Online I found an article that read: Used 2020 Honda CR-V Touring - vehicle at market value: 34,935 you save: 2,937 Internet Price: 31,998 I went onsite tested and agreed to purchased that vehicle on Sept. 19, 2020 based on a piece of paper presented by one of the employees that displayed the price of the vehicle as presented on the internet. 1st my insurance and paystub information were collected using Cindy P.personal cell phone. When addressing the concern, I was told this is how we do business as we all are like family. 2nd The finance employee presents an LCD screen that lays flat on his desk, from his screen he reads to you what your supposedly signing. You're told to go get your vehicle ready and will give you the papers when you get in your cars. When I got home I reviewed the documents and realized Jose R. added 3230 into the finance balance without my knowledge or consent. The fees where for Fidelity service new and used: 2531 and Fidelity MNT-Stand Alone: 699. The price of the agreed vehicle was also raised to: 34,083.24 which includes the 1,421.24 of sales tax, instead of the 33,422 agreed to that also included the 1,421.24. I have called and been advised to wait three weeks for them to modify the contract and been told that the price seen on the internet cannot be honored as this is what they post online to bring customers into their business. I also have a recording of a female that looks like Cindy P. (sales agent) who came to my home after complain of her were provided to Luis G.. This female waited for a good 10 minutes in front of my house before moving her vehicle to the guest parking and this was caught by my ring camera. When addressed of this concerned to Luis, she said that it was not her. Female had the same body type, length of hair and the only item hiding her face was the mask. I have also been working from home since March and had no visitors during business hours until telling Luis how my personal data was being collected on her personal cell.

Brandon Honda when finalizing the loan used to purchase a new auto, the finance rep misled about benefits of a car care service plan and what that included

when finalizing the loan used to purchase a new auto, the finance rep misled about benefits of a car care service plan and what that included. In May , we financed a new vehicle with Brandon Honda. When meeting with the finance rep, we were, as expected, offered various additional warranties, etc., to purchase. For one product - their car care service plan - the finance rep insisted that it would include all the necessary maintenance for the next 7 years we'd need (routine maintenance, like oil changes, etc.) for the low price of $500+. Given the miles we put on this vehicle, quick math would make this a great deal - as we'd need at least 2 oil changes a year - so 14 in total would seem a great deal. To that end, we agreed. At no time was any documentation provided with the details on this car care service plan - only stating we'd receive it in the mail. Fast forward 4 weeks or so and we did receive the details - in the form of a coupon book which only included 5 oil changes, some free rental cars with major service done by them, cost of some front brake pads, but not labor, and a couple other things not even worth mentioning, knowing I'd have to travel 40+ miles to even use them (not that I ever would.) 5 oil changes, at best, is maybe 3 years - nowhere close to the 7 we were told we wouldn't have to worry about if we purchased this car care package. We have tried reaching out to Brandon twice - first to the finance guy, then to both the finance guy and the owner of this dealership. I'm attaching for supporting documentation. I take great issue with the deceptive sales practices they undertake when finalizing the purchase, not providing the documentation to review, instead relying on the honesty of these "professionals". I'd like Brandon Honda to honor the 7 years of not having to worry about oil changes, etc or refund the amount they financed, including the interest I'll be paying over the life of the 60 month loan, for this "service plan". This is the second new car in 12 months we've purchased from Brandon Honda - we loved our salesman and everything else about working with Brandon, but the continued silence on this has lost us as a customer, unfortunately.

Brandon Honda Unethical sales and service contract refund practice

Unethical sales and service contract refund practice. On May 25th, I leased a 2020 Honda Pilot EX, AWD from Morgan Auto Group in which they conduct business as Brandon Honda. The vehicle stock number is BXXXXXX. I spent 6-7 hours at the dealership due to Brandon Honda's unethical haggle business practice and the length of time they took to get the vehicle ready for delivery. Of the 6-7 hours, it took them at least 2 hours to get the vehicle cleaned up for delivery in which is unacceptable. During the deal negotiation process, I kept informing my salesman Eddie G. and his Sales Manager, that my budget was to pay $2,000 at signing including the first payment and that I couldn't pay any more than $350.00 per month. However, Mr. G., his Sales Manager, and his Sales Director were only concerned about making a profit on the vehicle sale and didn't care what my budget was. All they kept asking was for more and more money to close the deal to their advantage. I eventually felt pressured and finally agreed to close the lease deal giving $3,000.00 as a down payment in which should have included the first payment of $378.00. However, at the Finance Office, everything changed. The Finance Manager stated that the deal was agreed and approved by the Sales Director at $3,000 due at signing plus my first lease payment in which was not true. The Finance Manager made contact with the Sales Director and he stated that the deal was negotiated at $3,000.00 due at signing plus the first payment. In which again, it was not what I had agreed on. I still went ahead with closing the lease deal because I felt extremely pressured. Not only did I paid $3,000.00 at signing plus my first lease payment, but my lease payment also increased from $378.00 to $381.83. Again, I felt pressure and wanted to get it over with and close the lease deal. After the negotiation of the deal but before signing the lease paperwork with the Finance Manager, Mr. G. asked me if I owned a Honda vehicle registered under my name or my husband's name. I informed him that we did own a 2010 Honda Civic and provided him with the vehicle registration and insurance. Mr. G. never informed us of the reason why he was asking if we owned a Honda vehicle. I later found out that he was asking because Honda had a Conquest/Loyalty incentive of $1,000.00 in which could have been used towards my down payment or the cap cost reduction of my vehicle in which would have helped me get to where I needed my lease payments to be. However, Mr. G. and his Sales Manager kept the negotiation numbers the same and still requested the $1,000.00 rebate from Honda. Another issue with the Finance Manager was that he refused to remove the Automotive Protection Appearance Service Contract from my lease deal. He stated that the Service Contract had been added by Mr. G. and his Sales Manager and that he had nothing to do with that. Before signing the lease contract, I insisted that I never requested the Automotive Protection Package. However, the Finance Manager refused to remove the Service Contract from the deal and forced me to sign the lease contract with a Service Contract that I didn't need or requested. On June 10th, I called Brandon Honda and spoke with Melissa L.. I informed Ms. L. that I wanted to cancel the Automotive Protection Package that was charged on the deal in the amount of $2,496.00. On that same date, Ms. L. sent me an email informing me that my deal only showed that a Permaplate Service Contract was purchased in which was a non-cancelable product. I informed Ms. L. that I had no idea what a PermaPlate Service Contract was. And informed her that I was only aware that I was forced to buy an Automotive Protection Package and emailed her my lease negotiation worksheet. On June 11th, I received a call from Salesman Chris W. stating that I cannot cancel the Automotive Protection Package. But I keep informing him that it was not my intention to purchase such a Service Cont

Brandon Honda I did not authorize work to be done on my vehicle and was not provided with an estimate

I did not authorize work to be done on my vehicle and was not provided with an estimate. I returned to the dealership to a $642 bill for a battery. I was towed with my vehicle to Brandon Honda on Friday morning at around 1030am on Sept 4, 2020. My vehicle was on a flatbed wrecker and we could not disengage the emergency break or get the vehicle started. I explained to Kathy that my vehicle was putting off multiple maintenance codes and the emergency break was stuck on. Kathy informed me that it would be at least 4 hours before anyone would even look at my vehicle and escorted me to the waiting area. I informed Kathy that I would need a vehicle to pick my child up from school and she told me that I would not get any help from the dealership. I told her I was willing to rent a vehicle if I had to and she did assist me in contacting enterprise. I received no call from anyone at Brandon Honda all day. I contacted the service department that night, a young lady informed me there was a voltage issue and that I may need a new battery. Saturday morning the 5th I Contacted Kathy (Still no contact from them) and she told me to "return the rental" your car will be ready by lunch. So I returned the rental ($61 + gas) and headed back to the dealership. I spoke with Kathy and she informed me they were waiting on a part and it would not be ready anytime soon. I questioned Kathy as to what the issue was and she just stated it was my battery. I explained to Kathy that I work nights was not able to sit and wait all day after she told me to return my rental. I was offered a loaner vehicle which I was thankful for. Kathy went out of her way to tell me the loaner was filthy and told me not to worry they would clean it after I returned it. Now I didn't care that it was dirty at all, but the fact that she told me not to worry it would be cleaned for the next customer did not make me feel like I was being valued as a customer. So I left the dealership still no estimate and no clue what was going on with my car other than maybe a battery issue. At 1645 Saturday night I was informed via text message (the first correspondence from the dealership) that my car was almost ready and would be ready first thing in the morning. Unfortunately the service department was closing at 1700 and I was unable to contact anyone about my vehicle. At around 1725 on the evening of September 5th I received a text message stating my car was ready and a balance was due of $642 dollars and change. I returned to the dealership Sunday September 6 at around 0730 and spoke to the cashier. She informed me that it was not a mistake and that I owed $642. I requested that someone explain to me what exactly was done to my vehicle and the cashier summoned a tech. The tech looked over my invoice and claimed that he had no idea what the codes were that were on my invoice. At this point I requested to speak to a manager. After some deliberation between the cashier and the tech they decided to summon a woman named Jen. Jen offered me a mangers coupon and 10% off labor. I explained that I was not provided an estimate as required by law and that I did not approve any of the repairs on my vehicle. Jen questioned if I wanted the battery. I explained that I was not given options on what battery I wanted installed, not to mention whatever else was on my invoice. Jen then printed a new invoice with a 346 dollar battery on it and 132 dollars in labor. My total new bill was $426.08 for a battery replacement that I did not approve. Of course after the work was done and my vehicle was ready Jen had me sign an estimate and told me that I couldn't take my vehicle without signing it. I went ahead and signed it against my better judgement and made sure I dated it September 6. I asked for the service manager's name and information and Jen informed me that she was the service manager, I thought this was odd that the service manager was in at 0730 on a Sunday morning but I went ahead and paid the $426 so I could take my vehicle. I attempted to get the Service Managers Contact information off the Brandon Honda website and it was unavailable.

Brandon Honda This was my first time buying a car

This was my first time buying a car. I am a young female, they disrespected me and took advantage of me and are refusing to resolve the issue fairly. The problems begin from the date of purchase, (6/23). I agreed the price of $10,500 for my 2014 Toyota Corolla, I had the money in cash ready to purchase and I was convinced by the financial officer, Joey, to take out a loan for $5,500 and pay $5,00 cash. He used large financial words I wasn't familiar with and had me sign paperwork I didn't fully understand, however, he specifically told me that if at any point in time I wanted to cancel my warranties I would receive a full refund, which is the reason I agreed to them. Two days later, I look at my car paperwork and see that my loan was charged $1,200+ our original agreed upon amount but they formatted the paperwork in a confusing way. I called and spoke with the district manager, Tim, and he blatantly told me I wasn't smart enough to understand the documents but if I wanted to drive out there he would explain it to me in a way I would understand. I felt completely disrespected and discriminated against. I went down there and demanded he speak to me, which he did after I waited over an hour! He looked me up and down and smirked as if he already knew I was too dumb to understand basic math. After I explained to him that there was in fact a problem with the loan amount he sent me back to Joey. He talked down to me as if I was a young kid and SLOWLY explained to me why I was wrong, I then showed him that he was in fact wrong. He had to cancel the initial loan amount and recharge a new loan which made my interest rate go up by 1.5% because of the multiple dings on my credit score which he attempted to lie to me and say it was because the loan amount was less (NOT TRUE). I was hearing a lot of road noise in my car and I was concerned, so, I took it in to have them check the tires (I had mentioned the road noise to Lynn when test driving the car and he told me it was normal) the technician told me I just wasn't used to this kind of car. I went into the Stadium Toyota dealership to use my warranties and the service manager explained to me that the warranties I had purchased were basically useless and that I had gotten scammed! He also, informed me that my tires were so dangerously worn down they wouldn't even put air in them because of the liability if something were to happen to me like dying in an accident. So, I tried to call the fiancial officer at Brandon Honda and was hung up on 3 times after waiting over 30 minutes. I then drove down there and was AGAIN met with complete disrespect from the Tim and Joey who disregarded everything I said and I was told by the dealership manager "I was a woman and I wouldn't want to be without warranties". Finally, I told them I wanted to cancel ALL my warranties. I then took it upon myself to $500 to buy 4 new tires, even though I was told when I purchased the car I wouldn't need them for a while. In July , I was about to pay off my car when I saw that there is a $2,232.63 more charged on my loan than there was supposed to be. So, after attempting to call and continuously being put on hold for 30+ mins I went to the location where I was forced to sit for over an hour to wait to speak to a financial officer to fix the issue. I finally get called back and he explains to me there computer system was down, he offered to have me fill out the form on paper but I would need to go get the documents to be able to cancel them. I went to my car, came right back and he wasn't in the room, I find him joking around with is buddies while I sat and waited for him to take me seriously. I was talked down to and tried to convince to keep he warranties as if I was a child who didn't know what I wanted. We completed the form and he told me it would take 6 weeks to see the money in the account. It's been 7 weeks and I called the dealership manager David and he told me my warranties were pro-rated and I would not receive the full amount even though I was told otherwise upon purchasing and tried to cancel them almost immediately and then again over a month ago.
