After I responded to the email that the person they were looking for died last year, *** responded " he was an author right?" Beware of this company their desperation for sales trumps compassion

Harassment! This company will get private numbers of authors and harass by calling and bullying over the phone. They will not accept no. If you do not answer, they will continue to call all the numbers they can find of you.

I was very pleased with the courteous, timely, professional service of this publisher's staff, in particular that of Mr. Archie Ken. The cover of my book was beautifully done and the formatting of the text was exactly as I had requested. A+! I will be submitting a new manuscript in a few months.

They said that for $1000 they would provide a promotion on social media that would dramatically increase my book sales for a book I wrote that was published by ***. THE *** DIDN'T *** ONE COPY! I'm out a thousand dollars for NOTHING. I have contacted them and they do not respond."

After dealing with multiple publishers during my journey as a self-published author, I have found Book Vine Press to be one of the best! They are clear about their process, transparent about each step, and very good about keeping lines of communications open with their authors. I also want to give high praise to Jay Williams who is an excellent point-of-contact in this company!

Run from this company! Did such a mistake going with them and *** and ***, who quit in the middle of my republish. I am going to hire a lawyer because this company so misrepresented and did nothing they said they were going to do and still calling me trying to get me to pay for a radio interview with *** who is a shyster like them. Really run away from this company.

My book agent, *** Spine, called me a thousand times trying to get me to republish my book with Book Vine Press. I was skeptical at first but I can say that I am happy with how *** made me feel comfortable. He's respectful, very easy to talk and work with. I love the book cover design that he chose for me. Book Vine Press is vey professional, friendly and I have nothing NEGATIVE to say about them. I truly love everything about Book Vine Press, they made me feel like a VIP.

I had a very fine experience with Book Vine Press in publishing my book, Essays in Search of Understanding. They were almost always quickly responsive to my needs and questions, they kept me informed at each step of the process and the final product looks as I had hoped it would. My usual contact, April Smith, was very responsive and whenever I did have any difficulty, my main contact at the company, Archie Kent, really came through for me. I can highly recommend them as a publishing company.

I had dealings with a previous publishing company which went out of business. I had a terrible experience with them. I had paid a hefty sum and got almost nothing in return. On the other hand Book Vine Press was a different story. I had a vert good experience. When Book Vine Press contacted me, I was amazed to learn that someone had at long last deemed my novel had merit. It was a dream come true. *** is more than just a manager, he is a coach and a positive reinforcement friend who has pulled me out of hopelessness to success. The people that redid the cover did such a fantastic job, I can only shake my head and say, "Thank you, God." My novel, Behind the Evergreens, needed to be completely reformatted, and I can't believe what an awesome job they did. It looks exactly as I had always dreamed. Kudos!

This is my second time doing "print on demand/self-publishing". I used a different company the first time and though the experience was 'not bad', it left me feeling a little afloat and uncertain. This time I was contacted by Book Vine Press and decided to try them. I have had only positive experiences with Book Vine Press. He has been very professional, kind, and patient in allowing me to pursue the options in which to maximize my performance as an author. The lady had the nerves to call me back after I told her that I was not interested. When I told her I was able to cut out the middle man, doing it myself and is doing a fine job. She then called back about query letters and letting me know they have a department for that. After I again informed her that I was not interested and that I am able to write my own query letters because of the many classes I have taken on my journey of being a published author., she then tried to belittle me by telling me that I cannot afford their services. My response, Okay I cannot afford you all, so would you please stop calling! If I am not interested, why are these people calling me? It is not that I cannot afford, as mentioned, I am doing extremely well with getting my books out (not just one book I have written) I have just learned how to take my proceeds and invest back into me.
