This lab ain't no health care provider, they just do testing. They hit me up saying my doc wanted them to check out my test results. I was like, "uh, okay?" But they kept calling and bugging me until I caved and agreed to the test (from cancer tissue they took 6 years ago). They said my insurance would cover it, so I was like, "fine." But now I got a bill for $2,380.00! They told me it would be nothing or maybe a couple hundred bucks, tops. They won't even answer my calls now. I looked up reviews and turns out they're a bunch of scammers who prey on cancer survivors. The test date was 4/8, but the bill is dated 5/26. I've called them a bunch of times trying to fix this mess. I don't want my credit to take a hit because of these jerks. And I found out I'm not the only one they've ripped off.

I called back on 6/8 and said I would pay $995 out of pocket if I could get a statement to submit to flexible spending. My contact, *** said she could send me a statement. I paid online, but I didn't get any confirmation e-mail. The next day, I called *** to ask for a statement, but I didn't hear back. I called the company and left a message, but no response. I called again on 6/10 and they said it would take ***h to get it from the billing department. I still didn't receive anything. I contacted *** again, and she said they can't send me anything until testing is complete. I paid $995, but I have no receipt to show for it. Is this a scam?

I heard about this biz that tests for breast cancer risk. I'm a 5 yr survivor. I contacted them and found out it's over $5,000. Even if my insurance paid 80%, I'd still owe $1,000+. They said I might qualify for aid, but the paperwork needed personal info and tax returns. I said I needed more time, but they put in their notes to "Proceed" with testing. They billed my insurance $5,400 and won't give me a manager's name or email. They're trying to scam cancer patients out of money. I said no to testing, but they did it anyway.
