My experience with Billyland has been real good. They tell you everything you need to know about the costs and they do it real professional. I tell all my buddies to use them cause they're the best.

The people who work there are really nice and they're always happy to help us out when we have questions. We've talked to them on the phone and through email and they're always really pleasant to deal with.
The only thing that we wish they would improve is their website. It's not the easiest thing to navigate and it could use some upgrades. But other than that, we're really happy with our purchases from BillyLand.com. We've been able to find some great deals on land and we've been really happy with the quality of the lots that we've bought.
If you're looking to buy land, we definitely recommend checking out BillyLand.com. They have a great selection of lots and the people who work there are really friendly and helpful. Buyer Beware: BillyLand.com's Deed Issues Left Me Stuck with Unsellable Property
I gotta say, BillyLand.com ain't all it's cracked up to be. My husband and I bought some land from them back in 2006, but unfortunately he passed away before we could retire and build on it. So, I decided to sell it and finally got an offer after months of waiting. But, wouldn't you know it, there was a problem with the title/deed at closing. Turns out, BillyLand didn't have a clear title/deed to sell it to me in the first place. It took them almost three months to clear it up, and they promised to buy the property back from me. But, just my luck, the week before their attorney got the title cleared up, my buyers backed out because it was taking so long. BillyLand had me send them the contract and termination papers, but then they refused to buy the property back from me. So now, I'm stuck with it again.
Let me tell you, you can't trust these people. If you've bought from them, make sure you hire a title company to double-check everything. Matt at BillyLand told me this was the second time he was dealing with something like this. Thank goodness we didn't build on it and find out 30 years later when it would have been too late to fix it.
So, take my advice and check your purchase carefully before you buy from BillyLand.com. They might not have a clear title/deed to sell you, and you could end up in a real mess.
