I got two different reptiles from bhb reptiles (bhbreptiles.com). One was a corn snake and the other was a leopard gecko. I was super happy with my orders. They shipped them both at separate times, a year apart, from Michigan to Arkansas, and there were absolutely no issues. I plan on ordering a couple more geckos and a ball python soon. I'm also thinking about getting a crested gecko for my adult daughter. She's been wanting one for a while now and has had her ball python for three years with no issues.

I got a snake from BHB Reptiles about a year ago and I gotta say, I'm still super stoked about her. I live up in Canada, so the shipping was a bit of a hassle, but Beth was there for me every step of the way. She was super chill and friendly, and even though I had a ton of questions (I'd never had a snake before), she was patient as heck. Like, seriously, she was amazing.

The snake herself is doing great - she's healthy, she's gorgeous, and she's super easy to handle. I've had no issues with her at all. I don't think I'd ever get a snake from anywhere else, honestly. BHB Reptiles is the real deal.

These guys are the real deal. I bought a few corn snakes from BHB Reptiles almost two years ago and they are still doing great. Brian, the owner, is a top-notch guy with customer service skills that are out of this world. He offers some of the best discounts around and really cares about the animals he sells. The cages that he provides for his animals are top-notch and exceed my expectations.

It's hard to find trustworthy people in this hobby, but Brian is one of the few that I trust and do repeat business with. He is incredibly knowledgeable about many different types of animals and you can tell that he is in it for the love of the animals, not just the money. He truly has a passion for what he does.

One thing that really impressed me was how well they pack their animals. It's probably the best I've seen yet. You can tell that they take great care in making sure that the animals arrive at their new homes safely and comfortably.

I recently purchased a pair of California kingsnakes from bhb reptiles for around $360, plus some extra fees. However, when I received them, they were just lying still and not moving around much. At first, I didn't think much of it, but a few days later, I noticed that they were sick and barely moving around. I immediately called bhb reptiles to inform them of the situation.

To my surprise, they blamed me for the snakes' condition, saying that it was due to the temperature, bedding, or enclosure size. They also claimed that they do a proper health check of animals before sending them out, which I found hard to believe. It seemed like they were just trying to make their company look good.

I was extremely disappointed with the way bhb reptiles handled the situation. I will never order from them again, and I advise others to prepare for the worst if they do. If I ever see Brian, the owner, in public, I would be tempted to beat him up. Not only did he rip me and other people off, but he also mistreats his animals, leaving them with mouth rot, mites, and dirty tubs. He's a terrible snake breeder and doesn't deserve to run his company. There are so many small-time breeders out there doing a better job than him, which says a lot.

In conclusion, I strongly advise against ordering from this phony company. I hope this review helps someone avoid the same mistake I made.

At first, I was a bit hesitant to try out BHB Reptiles, especially since there weren't many reviews to look at outside of their website. However, the positive reviews on their site were reassuring, and the lack of reviews meant that the company wasn't falsely boasting their reputation. The only abundant source of information I could find about the company was their social media, and I admit, I basically dissected their YouTube channel. I watched many of their videos and dug into some of the comments to see the reactions of actual customers. Through this, I learned a lot more about the company and the people who run it. Without this extra digging, I would have gone into this near-blind. I hope this review helps others make a decision without having to do all those hours of extra research I did. But in the end, it was all worth the time to me because I found a second reptile company I can actually trust!

I found BHB Reptiles while looking for a place that had a broader selection than my usual go-to, snakesatsunset. I was quite pleased with the selection I found. My first purchase was a ball python and a milk snake, and I was very happy with both. I was able to hand-select the ball python from a listing where you get the exact snake that's in the picture. The milk snake was just from a stock photo, so I didn't know the exact snake I was getting, but I think they picked out a really nice one for me!

My second purchase was just as positive. I would have bought a corn snake alongside the other two, but at the time, they didn't have most of their 2021 corn snakes up yet, and I stupidly assumed that they just didn't have many corn snakes. Well, sure enough, months later, there are all these amazing corn snakes to choose from, and I finally broke down and bought another one.

As for the appetite of the animals, the corn snake is brand new, so I can't say much about feeding yet, but the other two I've had for a handful of months now always eat like champs!

Their prices are average to high side of average, depending on what you're looking for. However, you get the promise of an honest company that doesn't scam you. For example, the corn snake I got was a normal HET. Many places would fake that, but with this place, I know I'm always going to get exactly what it says I will get. If you watch any of their YouTube channels, which I'll get into later, you can see that this isn't a company that's in the business of purposefully producing many normals. Most of their normals come from breeding projects for other, often rare, morphs. It's not like your typical "pet store" atmosphere where they're catering to people who just want pets. I truly believe this guy is literally obsessed with breeding the most insane snakes and then on the side, he sells the stuff he doesn't want to keep or that he knows is really popular.

When they go to schedule your order, they are so concerned about the animal's well-being that they actually have to speak to you personally on the phone to schedule (not email, text, etc.) or they will refuse to ship it. They don't have that much reception staffing, so sometimes if you miss their call and try to call them back, you might not get through, but they always call you back. The scheduling call itself is very informative. They go over what the snake is eating, when he/she last fed, package signature requirements, etc. I have had snakes for many years, so for me, it's more peace of mind than anything. But for someone who's never had a snake as a pet in their entire life, this information double-checks that people are properly educated, and they're also willing to take the time to sit there and explain stuff if you ever have a question about something, which is really nice. Not every business will take the time to do that.
