Betsey Johnson Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Betsey Johnson: Beware of Their Return Policy

I have been a fan of Betsey Johnson for a long time now and have always been satisfied with their products. However, my recent experience with their customer service has left me feeling disappointed and frustrated.

Their return policy is clearly stated on their website, but I was surprised to find out that they refused to refund me for sale items as well. I understand that clearance items and earrings cannot be returned for hygiene reasons, but sale items are completely different. When I tried to point this out to them, they ignored me and did not respond to my emails.

I have sent them 2-3 emails now and even included screenshots of the items I purchased that were not on clearance, but I still have not received a response. I am now planning to call them, but I am not expecting a positive outcome based on my previous experiences.

If you are considering buying anything from Betsey Johnson, I would advise you to be cautious. You never know when they will randomly decide to go against their own policy and then good luck getting a response. It is disappointing to see a brand that I have been loyal to for so long treat their customers in such a way.

Betsey Johnson Unreliable Customer Service: My Experience with Betsey Johnson's Website

I recently had an experience with Betsey Johnson's website that left me feeling uneasy. I decided to use the chat feature to inquire about the status of my package, which I had ordered a week prior. While the representative, Stevie, was polite, I did not feel confident in her responses.

I explained to Stevie that FedEx had informed me that they did not have my package yet, and that only the shipping label had been created. When I asked for clarification on the whereabouts of my package, Stevie simply stated that it had left their facility and that was all she could tell me. I pressed further, asking if it could be anywhere since FedEx did not have it, but Stevie did not provide a clear answer. Instead, she asked if there was anything else she could help me with.

This left me feeling regretful for making a purchase on the Betsey Johnson website. I was unable to track my package or even receive an estimate of when it would arrive. Stevie's responses did not make me feel reassured, and I was left with the feeling that she had no idea where my package was. Her final response was a dismissive "ok bye."

In hindsight, I wish I had read reviews of the website before making my purchase. If I had, I may have avoided this frustrating experience. Overall, I would caution others to be wary of ordering from Betsey Johnson's website.

Betsey Johnson Disappointing Experience with BetseyJohnson.com: Poor Customer Service and Return Policies

BetseyJohnson.com is not the best online store I have ever shopped from. I recently ordered a pair of shoes to wear on my wedding day. However, when I received them 19 days later, I was disappointed to find out that one shoe was a 6.5 and the other was a 7.5. I immediately contacted their customer service within 10 minutes of receiving my delivery. Unfortunately, the response I got was not what I expected. They simply told me to start a return and did not offer any help or apology for their mistake.

When I started the return process, I was surprised to find out that there was no option to state that the company made an error. To make matters worse, they wanted me to pay for the return! I was so frustrated that I decided to call them back. However, I had to wait on hold for about 15 minutes before being disconnected. I also tried the "live chat" feature, but no one responded. I called them again, but still, nothing happened. After three more calls, I finally got through to someone who promised to refund me and send me a label to send the items back for no charge.

I was relieved to hear that, but then I received an email with the label and refund minus a "processing fee" that happened to be the same amount as shipping. I was so upset that I decided to never buy anything from BetseyJohnson.com again. I had no shoes to wear on my wedding day, and the retailer insisted that I pay for their mistake. It was a terrible experience, and I would not recommend anyone to shop from them.

In conclusion, BetseyJohnson.com needs to improve their customer service and return policies. They should offer more help and apologies when they make mistakes, and they should not charge their customers for their errors. I hope they take this feedback seriously and make the necessary changes to improve their services.

Betsey Johnson Betsey Johnson's Website: A Nightmare for International Buyers

I recently tried to order a pair of shoes from Betsey Johnson's website and let me tell you, it was a whole ordeal. I live in Canada and the shoes I wanted were listed as $130 on their site. I was excited to see that they were offering a 20% discount, so I jumped at the chance to save a couple of bucks.

But fast forward a bit and I was shocked to see that they charged me $182 for the shoes in total, even with the discount included! And just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, I received a call from FedEX saying that I would be charged an additional $60 in fees to cover duties. This brought the total cost of the shoes to a whopping $242!

I was beyond frustrated and decided to try and get a refund. But let me tell you, getting a refund from Betsey Johnson was a challenge in itself. Apparently, their customer service team cannot cancel orders themselves, so I had to go through FedEX to cancel the order. And when I finally received my refund, I was shocked to see that I only got $134 back.

It turns out that Betsey Johnson charges shipping and restocking fees when you return items. I was not aware of this and it was not made clear to me when I made the purchase. Their "shipping policy" online was the only response I got from their customer service team when I inquired about this issue.

In the end, I paid $50 for the pleasure of this distasteful experience. Needless to say, my view of the Betsey Johnson brand has been tainted and I will not be caught dead ordering from them again. I strongly urge Canadians and international buyers to read their shipping policy and calculate how much they will actually have to pay. Otherwise, you will end up paying a lot more than you initially thought and you will not get a full refund from them.

Betsey Johnson Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Betsey Johnson's Pre-Sale Order

I placed an order for a pre-sale item on March 4th from Betsey Johnson's website. The website stated that the item would be shipped by March 8th. However, when I checked the order status, it showed that the item was still unfilled. I waited for over a week and decided to reach out to customer service. I sent several emails but never received a response from anyone.

Feeling frustrated, I decided to try the live chat feature on the website. The representative I spoke with, who I believe was named Amy, kept confusing me with another customer even after I provided my order number. She was unable to give me any information about my order and simply stated that they had not heard anything from the manufacturer yet. She was unable to provide me with any sort of time frame for when the item would be shipped.

I waited a few more days to see if I would receive an email update, but I never did. I then noticed that the purse was no longer listed as a pre-sale item on the website and was actually being sold on eBay. However, the customer service representative was still unable to provide me with any information about my order and kept suggesting that I cancel it.

Feeling frustrated and disappointed, I eventually decided to cancel my order. It was frustrating to see that the same item I had ordered was being sold on eBay with a promised delivery date of just one week, yet I was unable to receive any information about my order.

Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the customer service I received from Betsey Johnson. As someone who has spent a lot of money on their merchandise in the past, I expected better. It's frustrating to see a company prioritize selling items on eBay over fulfilling orders for their loyal customers.

Betsey Johnson Poor Customer Service Experience with Betsey Johnson's Backpack Purchase

I recently bought a backpack from Betsey Johnson's website and unfortunately, I had some issues with the product. The threading inside of the backpack caused the zipper to go off track and the emblem came off. I had to reach out to customer service for help.

The first person I spoke to, Florina, via email, told me that she was working on it. However, I had to reach out to her over a couple of weeks with no avail. She only gave me excuses and no resolution. After five weeks of waiting, I responded back to a previous email only to get a return stating that someone will reach out to me next week.

I responded back to that email stating that I was looping in the person that was included in the email and would look forward to a resolution the following week. Instead, I received an email within minutes of sending this email from the person who was to respond, and she was very rude. None of what she discussed in the email was what Florina and I had discussed. I had no idea that Angela would be in the office next week looking through products to find me a backpack. It was not information that I needed to know when she mentioned that 25% of their staff have been laid off and they're having a difficult time with COVID-19.

I have purchased over 15 items from this company, but I will never order another thing from them. If you are smart, you will stay away from this company. It is not always the product that is the problem, as the product does well most times, but it is the customer service that you have to deal with that has no respect for those that spend their hard-earned money on their product.

Betsey Johnson Disappointing Experience Shopping on Betsey Johnson's Website: Delayed Order and Poor Customer Service

I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience shopping on Betsey Johnson's website. I placed an order back in February and it's now August and I still haven't received my product. I mean, come on, that's six months! I reached out to the company in March and it took them three whole days to get back to me. When they finally did, all they said was that they were looking into my question. Not very helpful, if you ask me.

So, I decided to call their customer service line to see if I could get any more information. And what did they tell me? That my product was delayed. Great. The date for the delayed shipment came and went and still, no product. I don't understand why this company can't give updates or at least send an email saying that my order is delayed. Instead, I have to go searching for the order status myself. And to top it off, my order status has said "unfulfilled" since February. Not exactly reassuring.

I thought about cancelling my order, but guess what? I was charged immediately for the product and I've already paid it off months ago. So, I'm stuck waiting for something that may never come. It's frustrating, to say the least. I wish they would have at least offered me a promo code or something for the inconvenience, but nope. Nada.

Now, I will say that the boots I ordered are pretty. But let's be real, I wanted to wear them five months ago. And to make matters worse, the website only just added that they were a pre-order in July. So, I had no idea what was going on with my order for months. And still, no real customer service to speak of.

Honestly, I would recommend buying from Macy's or a department store if you really want Betsey Johnson. At least they seem to care if you get what you ordered.

Betsey Johnson Disappointed with Betsey Johnson's Quality and Customer Service

I recently made a purchase on the Betsey Johnson website in January of 2020. I was really excited to receive my silver purse, which I thought was very nice. However, I only wore it for the first time on August 9th for a couple of hours to dinner, and to my surprise, the purse started falling apart as you can see in the photos. The seams on the outside of the purse were unraveling, and when I reached in the purse to grab my lipgloss, the fabric peeled off! I was soooooooooooo disappointed! I have been a loyal customer of Betsey Johnson for 10-12 years and have NEVER experienced this before. I even have sunglasses from her that I bought six years ago and they are still in perfectly good condition.

I reached out to customer service to express my disappointment, and they told me it was normal wear and tear. However, you can clearly see the color of the fabric inside the purse that I haven't been wearing it enough to even get wear and tear! I have never had a purse fall apart like that, not even a $40 one. I don't understand how this is okay for a customer. I thought I was purchasing a quality product! Even if I wore it ten times, should it be falling apart? I don't understand why they have a past 60-day clause, I took too long to wear the thing, but even if I wore it ten times, should it be falling apart? I don't understand where this is okay for a customer.

I was told that they were going to conduct an investigation, but 24 hours later, they said it was normal wear and tear. What was the investigation? I would have gladly sent the purse in to be examined. I just feel that the customer service is past poor, and they really could care less! I never write reviews, but I can't help but express my disbelief. I will never shop here again. Signed, an angry customer!

Betsey Johnson Betsey Johnson's International Shipping Policy is Unreasonable and Inconvenient

I had a similar experience as Janine when I ordered from Betsey Johnson. I spent $300 on my order and was hit with a $100 bill from FedEx after my package was delivered. I reached out to Betsey Johnson for help, but the person who assisted me didn't seem to care at all. They simply copied and pasted some FAQ about taxes and said "sorry bye". I've never had this issue with any other U.S. retailer before.

I had a similar situation with a different company a few years ago, and they admitted to filling out their export papers incorrectly. They took care of the excessive "tax" bill for me. However, the Betsey Johnson representative didn't even want to look into it. So, while I wouldn't be scared to order anything from the U.S., I would definitely be aware of the massive wallet gouge that could come after ordering from Betsey Johnson.

After receiving my invoice from FedEx, it looks like there are around $60 in duties and import fees. So, my suspicion was right - it wasn't just taxes. I'm going to contact Betsey Johnson again to see if this is normal for them not to cover those fees. Other companies have those fees displayed before you pay or have a clear message that such fees could be charged to you after your purchase. However, there was no such thing on the Betsey Johnson website. I'll update this review with how things go.

Update: I'm going to bump my review up to two stars because the customer service is responsive. A representative got back to me and said that it's within their shipping policy to charge extra fees through FedEx. So, these excessive fees are actually accepted as a part of their shipping policy. However, this shipping policy is very unreasonable. For a $250+ order, having to pay an extra $100+ just doesn't make sense for a customer. Additionally, there's no way of seeing just how high that charge is going to be after your order gets to you. So, my two stars represent a very inconvenient international shipping policy and the customer being blind to how much they'll be charged until after the FedEx bill is received.

Betsey Johnson Betsey Johnson: Unique Designs, Affordable Prices, but Inconsistent Customer Service

I gotta say, I was a bit skeptical about Betsey Johnson at first. I mean, I live all the way in Russia and I've been shopping online for years, but I've never really come across this designer until recently. I was on the hunt for some unique sandals with transparent heels and stumbled upon a pair at Macy's. They were Betsey Johnson and I was immediately smitten. The combination of two floral patterns, the transparent block heel, and the 70s flare had me sold. And to top it off, there were flowers in the heels! I couldn't resist and ended up buying both the BLACK MULTI and MAGENTA MULTI pairs.

But let me tell you, the synthetic fabric of the upper of the sandals was quite tough. I had to wear them with silicone pads to make them more comfortable. Still, I was intrigued by this designer and decided to check out the Betsey Johnson online store. That's when I saw the MAX BLUSH shoes with the small jeweled detail. They would have been the perfect match for my embroidered dress. According to the site, several pairs of my size were on sale, so I decided to take the plunge and make my first order on the official website.

I was excited to receive my order confirmation on April 13th, but after a few days, the status of my order hadn't changed. I was starting to get a bit worried, but then on April 18th, I received a message saying that unfortunately, the shoes were not in stock at the time and my order was cancelled. I was pretty disappointed, but then the next day, I saw that the shoes were back on sale in my size. I was hesitant to order again, but I really wanted those shoes. In the end, I decided to buy the MAGENTA pair from site 6pm and they didn't disappoint.

Overall, I appreciate Betsey Johnson's efforts to make fashion accessible to people with different incomes and to keep her products affordable. However, I have to say that some of her employees don't really do her brand any favors. I was pretty frustrated with the whole situation with my order, but I'm glad I was able to find the shoes I wanted in the end.

Betsey Johnson Disappointing Experience with Betsey Johnson: Delayed Orders and Poor Customer Service

I gotta say, I'm pretty bummed about my experience with Betsey Johnson. I put in an order back in November '21 for some pre-sale boots that were supposed to ship out on January 22nd. But then I got an email saying they wouldn't be ready until March. Okay, fine, I can wait. But then March came and went and still no boots. I reached out to customer service and they told me they were delayed until April. Alright, I guess I can wait a little longer. But now it's June and I still haven't received my order.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend ordering from them. They seem to have a hard time delivering orders on time and their customer service isn't great. When I reached out to them about my order being delayed, they didn't seem to care much about my frustration. It felt like all they cared about was getting my money.

I gave them one star because that's the lowest rating I could give, but honestly, they don't even deserve that. I'm really disappointed with my experience and I don't think I'll be ordering from them again.

I recently made a purchase on Betsey Johnson's website and I have to say, I was a bit disappointed with my experience. Betsey Johnson Betsey Johnson's Luggage Warranty Falls Short: Disappointing Customer Service

I bought a real nice piece of luggage from Betsey Johnson's website for $350. It came with a warranty for 5 years, which made me feel real good about my purchase. But then, I used it just once and the area above the wheel busted open. I was real upset about it, so I took some real detailed pictures and sent them to Betsey Johnson. They told me I had to file a claim with some company called 24/7. I did that, but after 10 days, I still hadn't heard anything back. So, I reached out to Betsey Johnson again and they said they'd have 24/7 contact me. Finally, they did, but all they said was that there was nothing they could do. I'm real disappointed with how they handled this and how they didn't seem to care about my problem or their warranty.

Betsey Johnson Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Betsey Johnson: Black Dye Bled onto Pink Purse

I bought a Betsey Johnson purse for my daughter, it was a cute pink crossbody. She kept it next to another Betsey Johnson purse that was black and when she took it out to use it, the black color bled onto the pink purse. I was really upset about it, so I contacted Betsey Johnson customer service and sent them pictures of both purses. I was hoping they would help me out, but they didn't. They told me to go back to the department store where I bought it and follow their return policy. I was really disappointed that they wouldn't stand behind their product, especially since I had proof of the issue.

I'm not sure if I'll buy from Betsey Johnson again. It's a shame because I really liked the purse and my daughter loved it too. But if they're not going to help me out when there's a problem, then what's the point? I understand that things can happen, but it's how a company handles those situations that really matters.

Overall, I think Betsey Johnson has some cute stuff, but I'm not sure if I can trust them anymore. It's a shame because I know a lot of people who really like the brand. Betsey Johnson Betsey Johnson Luggage Review: Stylish but Frustrating Customer Service

A MESS! Finally, after a few more phone calls and emails, Betsey Johnson agreed to replace the damaged suitcase. It took a few weeks, but I finally received my replacement suitcase. The new one seems to be holding up well so far.

Overall, I am happy with my Betsey Johnson luggage set. The suitcases are stylish and unique, and I always get compliments on them when I travel. However, the customer service experience was frustrating and time-consuming. I wish it had been easier to get a replacement for the damaged suitcase.

Despite the issues with customer service, I would still recommend Betsey Johnson luggage to others. Just be aware that if you do have any issues, it may take some effort to get them resolved.

Betsey Johnson Avoid this website at all costs! Terrible shipping and tracking experience

This website is not the best place to shop! I wouldn't recommend buying anything from here!

The shipping fee is a whopping $50! That's way too much! And when you get a tracking number from FedEx, it's not even your tracking number! It's not even your package! What a rip-off!

If you look really closely at the website, you'll see that your order is shipped to Connecticut first and then shipped through USPS. And you don't even get a tracking number! That's so confusing! They should put that information in the confirmation email and receipt so people know what's going on.

This website is so shady! I can't believe it! I've been a huge fan of Betsey Johnson for 25 years. I've even met her and worked in her boutique! But I will never buy anything from this website again! If people knew what was going on, they would cancel their order right away!

I still love Betsey Johnson and I will continue to collect her work, but I'll buy it from somewhere else! Don't waste your time or money on this website!

Betsey Johnson Disappointed with Betsy Johnson's Poor Customer Service and Mishandling of Order

I recently made a purchase on betseyjohnson.com for two pairs of shoes. I was excited to receive my order, but unfortunately, only one pair was delivered to me in August. I paid in full for both pairs, totaling $286.75. The Vincent silver shoes that I ordered were back-ordered until the end of August, which was okay with me. However, the back-order date was pushed back again until September 29th.

I waited patiently for my order to arrive, but I never received an email stating that my order had shipped. I decided to contact customer service to inquire about my order status, and only then was I given a tracking number. Unfortunately, the tracking number was invalid through Airterra, the shipping company. I reached out to Airterra for assistance, and they informed me that Betsy Johnson had not provided them with the merchandise.

I was disappointed and frustrated with the lack of communication and honesty from Betsy Johnson. I tried to get an honest answer from them, but to no avail. It was clear that they had mishandled my paid-for shoes. As a loyal customer, I expected better service from Betsy Johnson.

I believe that Betsy Johnson should be appalled that her name is associated with such poor customer service. I will never order from them again. I would rather go to Dillard's, Macy's, or any other retailer for shoes. Betsy Johnson, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Betsey Johnson Disappointing Experience with Betsey Johnson's Website: Lack of Communication and Inventory Issues

I recently decided to give betseyjohnson.com a try after using Amazon's Try Before You Buy feature and falling in love with a pair of Betsey Johnson shoes. I thought to myself, "Why not buy directly from the source instead of going through Amazon?" Well, let me tell you, that was a mistake.

After placing my order, I waited patiently for a shipping confirmation. Two weeks went by and still no word. I decided to reach out to customer service to inquire about my order. They responded, thanking me for my patience and letting me know that they were extremely busy but my order would be shipped soon. Another week went by and I received a refund and an email informing me that my order had been canceled because the item was out of stock. They did offer me a coupon for 20% off my next purchase, but I was disappointed and frustrated.

To make matters worse, I went back to their website and saw that the exact shoe and size I had ordered was still for sale. I was half tempted to use the coupon and try again, but I didn't want to deal with the hassle of waiting and uncertainty again. Instead, I decided to order from Amazon and had my shoes in hand just two days later with no issues.

It's a shame that my experience with betseyjohnson.com was so disappointing. I really wanted to support the brand and purchase directly from them, but the lack of communication and confusion surrounding my order left me feeling frustrated and let down. I hope they can improve their customer service and inventory management in the future.
