Information on spare parts for tents
I emailed Berghaus Customer Services on the 19/07/23 for information on the dimensions of the airbeam and where to purchase a replacement for our less than a year old 4.1XL tent. The reply was :-
As we don't manufacture the equipment and are unable to assist directly, I would recommend reaching out to Blacks through the following link and they will be able to assist.
Blacks we not able to assist as they also said that they do not have that sort of information.
I find this sort of aftersales service and support extremely poor, we now have an expensive tent less than a year old that is useless.
I have done extensive research online to try and source a replacement to no avail, however what I have discovered is that there are a lot of people with similar issues.
Desired outcome: The preferred outcome for me would simply be the information on the dimension of the airbeam and where to purchase a replacement.
Repairaus
Hi I bought a coat from third party supplier, the writing fell off when wet so I spoke to berghaus who put in touch with repairaus who fixed the coat and I was happy, unfortunately the writing fell off agin the same day, spoke to repairaus and they sent me a pre paid postage link and I sent the coat back to fixed again.
The day I sent the coat in the post they emailed me saying case closed! Now I can’t get in touch with them and have no coat. It’s my sons and he’s doesn’t have a coat atm , I can’t afford to replace like for like so really disappointed. No response and I’ve emailed them numerous times , tracking states it’s with them . Hiking boot
During a fell walk, both soles on my berghaus boots wore loose. I had to strap them onto the boots using tape. I nearly slipped on a number of occasions, which was clearly dangerous. By the time I got back to the car, the soles literally fell off! Please see photos. This is not the expected outcome of a pair of expensive berghaus boots. The boots are about 10 years old but haven’t been worn much. I would be interested in your response.

0.5l stainless steel flask
Hi,
some time back I purchased a Berghaus 0.5l Stainless Steel flask. Over the last couple of years the stopper has started to leak and is now unusable. Berghaus promote their Lifetime Product Guarantee but when I contacted them they said the guarantee would be with you, JD Group, as it was made under licience.
I've included the replies from Berghaus in the photos section.
The retailer I purchased the flask off, Millets, no longer operates in Ireland where I live and so I am unable to return to where I bought it.
