My dad and mom bought 2 windows from Belle Vernon Entrance Door & Window Co., LLC. Dad gave them $1,000 down. Both parents talked to the company, but dad passed away from *** on Dec 13th. Mom is still getting better. SSA took back dad's money because he passed away. Mom is still having a hard time mentally, financially, and physically. I talked to the owner once and called many times. I asked to meet halfway and refund $500. Keep $500 and the windows. I told him mom couldn't afford the windows. The owner said no and refused to move. He only cares about profit. Now he has the windows and $1,000. This business isn't good for elderly people. The owner makes 6 figures a year and can write off the windows. He can still sell them for a profit in the future. His rating should be a D at the highest.

Agreed to 27 single hung provia windows on 3/4. They said it would take 6-8 weeks to install, but it only took 5 days. It cost $39,000. The workmanship was bad from the start when they installed double hung windows instead of single hung. They didn't come back until 6/8. The project manager, JD, came to talk about the issues on 6/8. The windows were installed on soft wood, and they weren't sealing. There were gaps, wrong molding, and the wrong size of window. Ben said they were top of the line windows and he would fix the issues right away. But as of 6/11, none of the issues were addressed. They just started covering up the outside to hide the problems and dismissed the crew. Ben showed up unannounced on 6/13 to confirm the issues. On 6/30, a window sash fell in during a storm. I waited for the crew to show up, but they never did. I think they purposely damaged my windows so I would have no choice but to keep the double hung windows I never ordered. I'm still waiting for a copy of the contract to give to my attorney. My home isn't safe with spiders, mold, and unsecured windows.

Salesman say work be good before I pay all. I pay before all fixed, think company fix soon. Porch work bad, Ben know but no come see. Paint damage sidewalk & window screen. I tell Ben 20 times, he say he fix. Meet July 13, he say fix in week. He no say nothing since. Pay last April 6, no fix yet. Ben say bad crew no work for him now. I pay too much for bad work, Ben need fix it.

I needed a new door for my basement and went to Belle Vernon Entrance Door & Window Co., LLC. I set up a meeting for a rep to come to my house on June 8. They showed me a door in a catalog and I liked it, even though it was expensive at $2887.00. I gave them a check for $887.00 and they were supposed to come back on June 20 to measure the door opening, but they didn't show up until the next week. In mid-July, they called and said we wouldn't be getting the door we ordered. I was upset and called on August 10, but the rep was on vacation. They said someone would come on August 13, but the owner and an installation crew came on August 14 instead. They measured the door again and said they would "make it fit." I haven't heard from them since.
