By the way, Shafie has yet another mal practice suit file in January of 2017 by Mo Eslami v. Behrooz Shafie. I believe that is the fifth suit in last 7 yrs.
Lol. this guy who has written this review for mr. shafie was the husband of the lady whom mr. shafie was representing. mr. shafie caught him in lies after lies at his deposition and at the court. long story short, his wife won the case and got her kids as well as support.
Now, he is angry, and writing bad reviews.in fact, if his court documents are public records. mr. shafie is the best and he has also handled my case...
that is nonsense; I know Mr. Shafie both personally and professionally. He is the most despicable attorney ever licensed. He has no conscience and his only methodology is deceit and lies, without any regard to his duties as an officer of the court. His knowledge of the law is less than the average non-lawyer, which is not hard to believe given his educational background. he has absolutely no concept of business or corporate law, and assume just maybe he knows something about his own practice - family law.
I know who this person is speaking of and I understand why he is so angry. I don't know the outcome of the case, but do realize that Shafie did get the upper hand when he and his x wife installed spyware on his computer and all his private info, messages, finances were unlawfully and illegally in their hands. again, it doesn't take a good lawyer to cheat and break the law. A good lawyer knows the law and how to make it work well for his clients. Shafie's only talent is in deceitful acts like that. He never files paperwork on time, if at all, misses court hearings and has his head buried in gambling and drinking. So, yes he is mad, he lost a lot, and I don't blame him. but that does NOT make Shafie a good lawyer.
Now the real question is " who are you and what is your relationship to Shafie?" I am almost certain you are the same female that works for him.
He is most deveice man who practice law. He is professional gambler. He should be disbarred from practicing law. He uses its power to manipulate the petitioner and the defendant for his own gain.
BEHROUZ SHAFIE [#108581], 66, of Beverly Hills was suspended for three years, stayed, placed on four years of probation and was ordered to take the MPRE within one year. He received credit for a period of inactive enrollment from July 1, 2008, to Oct. 13, 2009. The order took effect June 18, 2011.
Shafie successfully completed the State Bar Alternative Discipline Program after demonstrating a connection between his mental health issues and his misconduct and stipulating to misconduct in three sets of charges.
He failed to communicate with a client; perform legal services competently, promptly return client files, refund unearned fees and properly maintain client funds and he wrote a check against insufficient funds and misappropriated more than $55, 000.
In the misappropriation matter, Shafie represented the wife in a divorce and received a check for $55, 028 from the sale of the couple’s assets. His client fired him and hired a new lawyer, requesting that he sign the substitution form, and return her file and her funds. Although Shafie signed the substitution form two months later, he said he needed a court order to turn over the money, which partially belonged to the husband. When the court so ordered, he gave his client a check for $55, 028. However, in the intervening months, he allowed the balance in his client trust account to fall to a negative amount, thus misappropriating the funds.
In mitigation, he had no prior discipline record and he cooperated with the bar’s investigation.
This guy Behrouz shafie is a psychopath and a thief... Has been suspended for eight years ! He has had many malpractice suits and had to have mandatory ethics course, mandatory psychiatric treatment. He only takes clients that are women and married to rich men, dentists, doctors, engineer, businessman ... Avoid this guy !
This man should have never been practicing ...he is a criminal.
