Fun deal for doggos
Decided to try Barkbox for my 2 Malinois and my Boston Terrier. They are sharing one box started three months ago. All but one toys from the first 2 boxes are still intact. And they like the baked treats. My third box was stolen from the post office parcel box, and the company replaced it even though it was clearly not their fault. Would highly recommend this. The dogs and I have fun with the boxes!
Creativity and Customer Service
10/10- The creativity for each box is incredible. We LOVE the little stories and wittiness of each box. Our first box had "hard" chewer items, as it was a trial for us- Barkbox understood that. We changed the chewer to the max and they accommodated with ease. They emailed us about a hazard toy we received and said they'd replaced it, they did just that free at charge. We love it thus far. Thank you BarkBox
It was "paw"-some
My dog loves it and he's a bully so for those who know they are aggressive chewers he tears through everything. But has not been able to tear up their toys. I'm so shocked he's tore up every toy I've ever gotten him till now. The treats he didn't like so much but he's a fat kid that likes ppl food so didn't expect him to like their all natural treats. I think it's a great investment but I've only had one box so far. Also the customer service was excellent!
The Bark family
Bark box is great. They are on spot. The really care about their customers and furbabies.im glad I decided to try Bark box. They treat you like family they answer back quickly when you text them. I would recommend them to others. Their toys are amazing my furbabies love them. They really like the treats. Again I would and will recommend them Thank you Bark box. Cant wait for next Bark box to get here. Again Thank you Bark box y'all and company are amazing.
MY DOG LOVES IT!
Bentley, my cockapoo, gets so excited when his Bark Box arrives. It is full of treats which he actually loves. He is very picky and I have a shelf full of treats I have purchased that he refuses to eat, but he loves the ones in the Bark Box. He enjoys every toy, and I am amazed at how durable they are. The ones I used to buy in the store lasted less than 5 minutes, but he still has every one of his Bark Box toys. I get packages from Amazon every day, so he really gets excited when his package arrives. DEFINITELY A BIG HIT!
2-in-one toys
We've been getting BarkBox for about 8 months, and we love it. My favorite thing is their "tear-able" toys. My dog LOVES to tear up fabric. Many of these toys are made with a cloth exterior designed to be torn open, revealing a durable toy, usually with a squeaker, inside. My dog can spend hours shredding the fabric, and she's not destroying my things anymore!
Some people have complained about their customer service. When I had an issue, I sent an email and got a response within a day. I think it's a small company, so they don't hire a cadre of employees dedicated to customer service.
Bark Box Review: Disappointing Customer Service and Mishandling of Order
So, I decided to give Bark Box a try and ordered some toys for my furry friend. I was super careful when filling out the address, but there wasn't enough space for the unit number in the main address line, so I put it in the "additional" box. But guess what? The package arrived without the unit number. What a bummer! I waited for weeks and checked the tracking number, only to find out that it was returned to sender.
I contacted Bark Box and they told me that the package was indeed returned to them. They asked me to verify the address, and I told them that they forgot to include the unit number. I asked them to resend the package as soon as possible. But then, they dropped a bombshell on me - half of the items I ordered were no longer available! Can you believe it?
To make matters worse, they received my order back, disassembled it, and resold some of the items without even telling me or giving me a refund. I was absolutely livid! How could they do this to me? It's downright despicable! If I hadn't reached out to them, I would have never known about this and would have lost my money.
Overall, my experience with Bark Box was a complete disaster. I don't think I'll be ordering from them again anytime soon. It's a shame because I was really excited to try out their products, but their customer service and handling of my order was just unacceptable.
BarkBox Review: Disappointing Toys, Billing Issues, and Poor Customer Service
I decided to give BarkBox a try after hearing about their durable toys that you can't find in stores. I went ahead and paid for the 6-month subscription so that the monthly fees would be lower. However, I was disappointed when they billed my account three times in the same day for the wrong amount, and it still hasn't been fixed.
When we received our first box, we were disappointed to find that the toys were simply dollar store grade toys. One of the toys made a papery sound, and it took all of 10 minutes for my dog to destroy it. To make matters worse, we found plastic inside the toy, which could have choked my dogs!
After texting the company (because you can't speak to a human being), we decided to upgrade to the "super chewers" at an extra $33 dollars. However, they billed my account more than twice this amount, which was frustrating. After several more texts, I decided to turn this problem over to the Better Business Bureau in hopes of either getting the refunds for what they owe or simply cancelling the entire thing and sending all my money back.
Overall, I would not recommend doing business with this company. The billing issues and low-quality toys were disappointing, and the lack of customer service made it even worse. I hope that they can improve their services in the future, but for now, I would advise looking elsewhere for pet toys and subscriptions.
Bark Box Review: Quality Toys & Treats, Pricey but Worth It, Watch Out for Auto-Renewal
I gotta say, Bark Box is a bit pricey, but it's worth it for the quality of the toys and treats. My dog absolutely loves them, and he's a tough chewer, but these toys have held up surprisingly well. I've gotten 12 boxes so far, and I still have a ton of toys left over because my dog takes care of them instead of destroying them like he does with everything else.
However, I did have a bit of an issue with the auto-renewal feature. I didn't realize it was turned on, so I was charged for another 12 boxes without realizing it. When I called the company, they were able to help me turn it off so I wouldn't be charged again next year. They also told me I could modify my boxes to receive just treats, but I couldn't figure out how to remove the toys. I chatted with customer service again, and they were able to help me switch to a smaller and cheaper box, but I still couldn't cancel altogether.
Overall, I'm happy with Bark Box and my dog loves it, but just be aware of the auto-renewal feature and make sure to turn it off if you don't want to keep receiving boxes.
Unleashing the Power of Creativity: A Review of 'The War of Art'
Today I got a box in the mail from Bark Box with dog items in it. However I don't have a dog and I never ordered this item. Already, this has made me suspicious. How did a company I've never heard of get my card, my address, my name, etc. without my having ordered anything from them.
So I contacted them and of course, there is no phone number. There is only a chat option and the whole thing continues to be shady. They are saying they need my credit card information in order to look into the order. If they sent out an order to me, should they not be able to look up the order for themselves, without having me give them my credit card information?
So, I am canceling the order and I suppose taking the hit on this one order, because I am not comfortable giving them my CC information to a company I already suspect of being a scam.
I am on a chat with them now and at this time, after I asked them why they needed my CC information to look into my order, they have stopped communication with me. No more chat person available.
Based on this, more evidence that this company is just a scam.
Beware of Bark Box: A Disappointing Experience with Promises Unfulfilled
So, me and my doggo decided to give Bark Box a try for a month. At first, I was pretty bummed out because I didn't receive the extra toys that I was promised when I clicked on the redeem offer. I thought that was a bit of a bummer, but I was still excited to see what was inside. Unfortunately, my dog has some food allergies and can't have certain treats, but they still sent them anyways.
To make matters worse, I received an email saying that my next box had already shipped, even though I only signed up for one month. I was pretty confused about that, so I decided to give them a call. They told me that there was nothing they could do about it, which was a bit frustrating.
I was hoping that the next box would be better, especially since I had my eye on the "Star Wars" themed box. But, to my disappointment, we received a girl-themed box for my boy pup. It had a tiny melted pink ice-cream and a tiny ice-cream taco, which was cute, but not really what I was hoping for. And to top it off, the treats were ones that my dog couldn't even eat. All of this for $40 bucks!
I was pretty upset about the whole thing and felt like it was a big waste of time and money. I had to call them again to ask why we didn't get the Star Wars box, and they told me that you only get the first theme that you know about and the rest is a surprise. I felt like they were just trying to get me with the cute stuff in the first month and then give me crap after that.
Overall, I would say to beware of this company. It's not worth the hassle and disappointment.
Bark Box Review: Disappointing Experience with Shipping and Customer Service
I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience with Bark Box. I got an email on July 8th saying that my box had shipped out, but when I talked to a representative, they gave me a tracking number that said the shipping label was created on July 16th, but the items weren't even in the hands of the shipping company yet. Like, what the heck? How do I get an email saying my box has shipped out 8 days early when there's nothing even in the hands of the shipping company?
It's now July 18th, and my box is nowhere to be found. The tracking number still says the label was created, but they're waiting on the items. The representative kept telling me that I had a commitment to the 6 month subscription, and that she wanted to "take full responsibility" for everything, but still take my money with no refund. When I asked her why nothing had shipped, why I was getting emails saying the box had shipped, and why I couldn't get a refund, it took her over 15 minutes to respond to each question.
After waiting for 30 minutes to talk to someone, it took another 45 minutes and way too many excuses to finally get my subscription cancelled and a refund given. Honestly, I'd rather just save my time and sanity and go to the nearest pet store. It's just not worth the hassle.
Barkbox Review: Disappointing Contents, Poor Customer Service, and Dirty Shipping Label
Barkbox is not a good choice for your furry friend. I was so disappointed when I received my box because it had a huge hole in it. The packaging was only secured with a small piece of medical tape, which is not enough to keep the contents from falling out. I don't understand why they didn't use regular packaging tape. It's not worth the $32 I paid for it. They asked me to fill out a survey to customize the box for my dog's breed, weight, and size. However, I think they sent me items for a medium dog when it should have been for a small dog. The toys were too big for my dog to play with, but at least she could eat the treats. Unfortunately, my dog didn't show any interest in anything from the box.
Their customer service is terrible. When I realized I didn't want to continue with the monthly subscription, I cancelled it. However, I was charged another $32 the following month. I tried to contact them through text, email, customer support, and live chat, but I didn't get any response. Finally, I received an email from them saying that they would refund me if I gave them feedback on how they could improve and the reason why I wanted to cancel. I wrote them back politely, but I still haven't received the refund I requested.
To make matters worse, the shipping label was so dirty and unreadable that I'm surprised some customers even received their Barkbox. I know it sounds silly, but it's a valid complaint. Overall, I wouldn't recommend Barkbox to anyone.
Bark Box Review: Deadly Treats, Useless Toys, and Terrible Customer Service
I gotta say, Bark Box (barkbox.com) is the worst company I've ever dealt with. I told them about my pet's allergies, but they still sent me treats that could've killed my furry friend. I even called them up to clarify, but they still sent me the same deadly treats. I tried their online support chat twice, but it was no use. They just kept sending me the same horrible treats. And don't even get me started on the toys. They're all useless. I've gotten the same toys in three different boxes because they have too many of them lying around.
Their special box gimmick is a total lie. They'll send you whatever they have, and when I asked about the extra I paid for the space box, they said they only had one toy from that box. What a rip-off! And instead of giving me a refund or an apology, they told me to donate any toys or treats my dog couldn't use. What kind of business is that? I paid for goods and services, and I get neither.
To make matters worse, they won't let you cancel your subscription. I bought a year package for almost $400 right before the pandemic hit, and I'm still disgusted by how they handle their business. I have a new item on my bucket list now: to see this company fail and then spit on the ashes of their CEO. I'm going to tell everyone I know about how terrible they are so that no one else has to suffer like my family did. We lost $400 before the pandemic, and all we got in return were chunks of plastic that smelled like vanilla and treats that could've killed our pets. I can't even express how angry I am.
BarkBox Subscription Review: Disappointing Toys and Treats, Misleading Marketing
So, I was at Target the other day and saw some really cool toys from BarkBox. I decided to buy one for my rescue boy as a welcome home gift. He loved it so much that I thought I would sign up for the subscription service. The selection of toys that we were supposed to receive looked amazing, and I was excited to see what we would get.
Unfortunately, when our (double promo) box arrived, none of the advertised toys were included. Instead, we got some cheap and boring toys that were comparable to the ones you can find on the discount rack at Winco. Out of the four toys we received, my pup only showed interest in two of them, and he quickly lost interest in those as well. I was disappointed, and we ended up going to the pet store to find some better toys to play with.
But that wasn't the only issue with the box. The treats were also a letdown. They were all made of cheap, rubbery crap that was full of legume powders, sugars, and carcinogenic additives for "flavor." My pup wouldn't even give them a second sniff, which was probably for the best since I wouldn't want him to eat them anyway. I thought about donating the treats, but I'm not sure I even want to do that.
When I reached out to customer service to express my disappointment, they told me that I should be happy with the value of the box and that the toys were each worth $10-$12 individually. But I wasn't happy with the value, and I felt like the company had misled me with their marketing. I decided to cancel my subscription, and the rep was quick to oblige.
I thought that was the end of it, but recently someone reached out to me and asked about my experience with BarkBox. Apparently, my boy is going to be receiving two more interesting toys in the mail soon. While I appreciate the gesture, I'm not holding my breath for anything amazing.
Overall, I think BarkBox has some good toys, but my experience with the subscription service was disappointing. The toys we received were cheap and boring, and the treats were not worth giving to my pup. I hope that the company can improve their selection and be more transparent with their marketing in the future.
BarkBox Review: Spoil Your Furry Friend with New Toys and Treats Each Month
I've been a subscriber to BarkBox for about two years now and I have to say, it's been a great experience for both me and my furry friend. I first heard about BarkBox through one of those Facebook ads that seem to know everything about us based on our page "likes." But I'm glad I clicked on it because it's been a great investment.
BarkBox is an autoship company that sends a box of goodies and toys to your pet once a month. When I signed up, I initially joined for a partial year and eventually went to the year plan. Upon sign-up, you are asked if you have a small dog or large dog. They use that information to decide the types of toys and treats you will receive.
What I love about BarkBox is that each month's box seems to be tied into a holiday or time of year. For example, the BarkBox my dog received last week related to the Chinese New Year and contained treats like "Chompsticks" and a squeaker toy of a stuffed dragon. There are usually at least 2 themed toys, 2 themed smaller packages of treats, and at least 1 generic treat like a chew bone. The treats are marketed as "healthy snacks" like fruit chews and dried salmon. (If you get dried salmon, watch out. It smells! My dog loved it, however.) In addition to treats and toys, dog-related items may be included. We received a small treat jar and a water bottle to use when out walking.
Included in the package is a card that lists what was enclosed and information about how to order more of each. I have found the prices to do that are a little high. While I love my pets dearly, I usually get all other treats from my local stores. I have notice that Marshall's and TJ Maxx often carry some of the same packaged treats as found in BarkBoxes.
Every now and then, BarkBox will send an e-mail asking for a ranking of the items included in a previous shipping. It's nice to give feedback and let them know what my dog loved and what she didn't care for as much.
Each month, an e-mail will notify you of when a box has been shipped. My dog's box usually comes around the 17th of each month. I am not sure if they do all shipping around that time or if shipment coincides to when you subscribe.
Subscriptions seem to be on autorenew. Right now, I pay for a year at a time. I can't remember if there is an option to pay for a month at a time or not. I am thinking not. Subscribers set up an account and from there, you can cancel if you desire. That option appears to be easy to figure out and not hidden like some autoship companies. The one thing I did not like is not getting a notification of when it was time for my yearly subscription rate being charged to my credit card. It's possible there was an e-mail but if there was, I didn't see it. I realize it is my responsibility to keep track of that. I do not know if it is possible to cancel mid-subscription if, heaven forbid, something would happen to my dog. I have to think it's possible as getting a new BarkBox could be painful shortly after losing a pet.
I pay approximately $18 a month for the box. It is worth it to see how excited my dog gets when the box arrives. Her nose is right in there when I open it. She has never received a treat she didn't like. One time, we received cleaning cloths to wipe off muddy feet. She didn't like them so much... the treats and toys are way more popular around here.
Overall, I highly recommend BarkBox to any pet owner who wants to spoil their furry friend with new toys and treats each month. It's a great investment and a fun surprise for both you and your pet.

Poor expectation setting
Saw some really cool BarkBox toys on the shelf at Target, and ended up buying one to welcome my rescue boy home with. He loved it, so I figured I'd just sign him up for the subscription - the selection of toys from which we were let to believe we would be receiving a few, included many of the ones I had already seen, (and been impressed with.)
Unfortunately, none of the advertised toys were included in our (double promo) box - in fact the toys we did receive were mostly cheap, and boring - comparable to discount stuffys on the rack at Winco. Out of the 4 toys (double promo) he only gave any attention to two, but shortly lost interest. Went to the pet store later that day to let him pick some better ones for us to play with.
This was my only issue with the box until I looked at the treats, which are all cheap, rubbery crap full of legume powders, sugars, and carcinogenic additions (for "flavor"). My pup wouldn't even give them a second sniff (probably a good thing, as I wouldn't want him to have them anyway...) I thought about giving the treats away, but I'm honestly not really sure I even want to donate these...
I chatted in immediately after we opened it and was promptly told that I should be happy with the value of the box and that the toys were each $10-$12 individually - to which I told the rep the company's penchant for over-charging of customers is no excuse for poor expectation-setting, or bait-and-switch marketing, and suggested he cancel my sub. He did.
All in all, I expected this to be the end of it, but I recently had someone reach out to me and ask about my experience. My boy is apparently going to be receiving 2 (more interesting) toys in the mail shortly... While I know there are good BarkBox toys out there, my hopes for receiving any are not high.
Subscription
I placed an order with Barkbox believing I was making a one box / one time purchase. I got confused about how it worked when placing this order. Immediately after realizing the mistake, I began reaching out to cancel the mistaken 6-month subscription. Immediately, as in that very hour. First I tried the chat and was clearly connected to a bot that only...

I was charged through auto subscriptions which I didn’t commit to. I canceled and had an $189 credit. They wouldn’t send my money back nor continue with the boxes. They said my subscription was canceled and I had to with through PayPal. But PayPal won’t help because they lied to them and the complaint was closed. They won’t reopen a closed claim. I’ve been trying for five months. My bank tried too but nothing. I have tons of email and even a refund invoice. They suck

Bark Box Review: Cute Boxes, But Customer Service is Seriously Lacking
I've been receiving Bark Box for my furry friend for almost five years now, and I have to say, I was pretty satisfied with their service. My dog would get so excited every time the box arrived, and I loved seeing her happy. However, things have changed recently, and I'm not too happy about it.
The biggest issue I have with Bark Box now is their customer service. It used to be so easy to get in touch with a live person when you had a problem or a question. But now, it seems like they've made it much harder. You can only contact them through text, Facebook chat, or by leaving a message for them to call you back. I've tried all three methods, but I haven't had any luck getting a response.
Because of this, I've decided to cancel my subscription with Bark Box. I don't want to keep giving my money to a company that doesn't seem to care about their customers. I had to cancel my card to make sure they wouldn't take any more money from my account.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend Bark Box to anyone. While their boxes are cute and fun, their customer service is seriously lacking. If you have any issues, you might not be able to get the help you need.
BarkBox Review: Not Worth the Money or Risk for Your Furry Friend
I decided to give BarkBox a try when I saw their Black Friday deal for only $5.00. I was excited to receive my first box and it arrived pretty quickly. However, I was surprised to see a $20 charge on my account less than two weeks later. I was confused because I thought this was a monthly subscription, not a weekly and a half subscription.
When I tried to cancel, I found out that I couldn't cancel until my year subscription was up. This was frustrating because I didn't want to continue receiving boxes that didn't meet my expectations.
One of the items they sent was a ham bone or something similar for my miniature pinscher. However, it was bigger than his head! I was worried that he might hurt himself trying to chew on it.
The other toys they sent were just regular store-bought toys that were easily shredded within minutes. I had to keep a close eye on my dog to make sure he wasn't eating the stuffing or squeakers.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend BarkBox to others. It's not worth the money and the items they send aren't always safe for your furry friend. Don't get ripped off by this company!
Barkbox Disappoints: Subpar Toys and Treats, Lengthy Cancellation Process
I recently decided to cancel my 6 month contract with Barkbox, as I have not been satisfied with their service. Despite their promises in their advertising, the toys that I received for my medium-sized dog were much too small. Additionally, the treats that were included in the box were strange food combinations that my dog did not seem to enjoy. When I reached out to customer service to cancel my contract, I received a very lengthy email from "Ruthie" telling me that I could not cancel and that I needed to read the contract. However, the contract did not mention anything about receiving subpar toys or treats. The toys that were advertised in the Barkbox commercials were only available as paid upgrades, which I did not opt for.
I am considering filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau for false advertising, as I feel that Barkbox has not lived up to their promises. However, I recently received an email from them stating that they will be sending me replacements for the toys that were too small. I hope that they do not charge me for these replacements, as I simply want to be done with their service. Overall, I am disappointed with my experience with Barkbox and do not recommend their service to others.
Disappointing Experience with Bark Box's Super Chewer Subscription
I recently decided to upgrade my Bark Box subscription from regular to super chewer because my furry friend has a knack for destroying toys. Unfortunately, my experience with Bark Box has been less than satisfactory. When I received my first super chewer box, I was charged three times for one box, which resulted in a total of $90 in extra charges. It took me about four hours to sort through all the charges and get them resolved.
To make matters worse, when I received my box this month, I was disappointed to find that it only contained two small toys and two small bags of treats, which cost over $30. The enclosed flyer showed a big poster of all the toys that were supposed to be in the box, but all but one were missing. This was a huge letdown, and I felt like I didn't get my money's worth.
To add insult to injury, I've been having trouble canceling my subscription. The only option I have is to cancel the yearly auto-renewal, which is frustrating. I've been trying to reach a human representative to help me cancel my subscription, but no one has responded to my inquiries.
Overall, I'm extremely disappointed with my experience with Bark Box. I don't think I'll be using their services again in the future.
Unhappy with this pet subscription service - low-quality items and difficult to cancel
This company really doesn't seem to care about you or your furry friend. Once you've signed up, it's nearly impossible to cancel before the 12-month commitment is up. I'm planning on closing my account with them so they stop charging me for the low-quality items they're sending. The toys look like they're from the dollar store and my dog chews through them in no time. I always have to take away the plastic thing inside before Sammy gets hurt. He doesn't seem to like the treats either. They all look like they were cut from a piece of rubber and shaped into different forms. The only thing he'll eat is the chew. So, we're talking about a 3 dollar value each month? It's not worth the money or the headache of dealing with their customer service. Save yourself the trouble and pass on this "deal."
Bark Box Review: Not Durable Enough for My Dog's Chew Habits
I have a furry little friend, a 15 lb Shorky, who loves to play with toys. I was excited to try out Bark Box and see what kind of toys they would send us. Unfortunately, my dog is a bit of a destroyer and would chew through the toys in minutes. We were put on the destroyer list and told that the toys would not have anything harmful in them. However, that was not the case.
The last toy we received, which was also the reason I canceled my subscription, was a stuffed coffin. The idea was that your dog was supposed to tear it open to get to a bone inside. However, the toy was filled with stuffing and a squeaker that I had to get away from my dog right away. There was also a rubber bone included, which I let my dog have. Within seconds, he had chewed a piece off the end. It was yet another toy that went straight into the garbage.
I have bought toys from Walmart that are of better quality and have lasted for months. Bark Box was a waste of money for us. I was disappointed that the toys were not durable enough for my dog, despite being on the destroyer list. I would not recommend Bark Box to anyone who has a dog that likes to chew on their toys.
Disappointing Experience with Bark Box: Two Lost Orders and Poor Customer Service
I made an order on the Bark Box website on January 11th, 2021. The website said that it would be shipped on January 13th, and my PayPal account was charged. However, after waiting for five days, I still had not received my order. I tried calling customer service, but there was no way to speak to a human being, which was frustrating. So, I decided to do an online chat to see what was going on.
The customer service representative reassured me that my order was on its way and would arrive soon. However, January 22nd came and went, and I still had not received my order. I had to do numerous online chats to get an update on my order, and finally, they agreed that my order was lost and would redo it. They said that it would be shipped again on January 25th.
However, it is now February 3rd, and I still have not received my order. I had to do more online chats to get a refund from Bark Box. It was frustrating to have to do so many chats to get my money back, especially since I had already waited so long for my order.
I understand that sometimes orders can get lost, but two lost orders is ridiculous. I was disappointed with the poor customer service and the long wait time for my order. I hope that Bark Box can improve their shipping and customer service in the future.
Bark Box Review: Disappointing Super Size Option and Poor Customer Service
So, I decided to give Bark Box a try and boy was I in for a surprise! At first, I was offered the option to super size my box and I thought, why not? But when I received my first box, I was disappointed to find that some items were missing. It was like trying to find a needle in a haystack to get them to send me the missing items. And to make matters worse, the first box was supposed to cost only $5 but with the super size option, it ended up costing me over $100!
I've been texting back and forth with their customer service team, but it seems like all they want to do is text, text, text. It's like they don't even care about resolving the issue. And when I tried to cancel my subscription, they informed me that I was signed up for 10 more months! Can you believe it?
It's a shame that in America, companies don't have to live up to their obligations anymore. Whether they have a good product or not, they can just keep charging you and you're stuck paying for it. I just hope that Bark Box can improve their customer service and live up to their promises in the future.
Barkbox Review: Great Treats, Disappointing Toys, and Shady Customer Service
I was so stoked when my pal told me about Barkbox, and I gotta say, the first box was pretty sweet. I got a ton of emails before and after it arrived, which was a bit much, but the treats were off the chain. The toys, on the other hand, were a bit of a letdown. I even added an extra one, but my mini Aussie destroyed them all in no time. I hit up the company about it, and they said they'd send me some replacement toys. They also told me about a "tougher" Barkbox that cost extra, and I was like, "Sign me up!" But it's been over three weeks now, and still no replacement toys. They keep sending me emails with pics of their dogs (who knows if they're even real), but no toys. I'm starting to think this company is a bit shady. I asked them to cancel my subscription, but who knows if they'll actually do it. I guess I should've read the fine print, but still, not cool, Barkbox.
Bark Box Review: Disappointing Harry Potter Theme and Poor Customer Service
I was super excited about getting the bark box for my dog. It was themed around Harry Potter, which is my all-time favorite movie series. When the box arrived, I was thrilled to see that it had three toys inside. I was under the impression that I was getting a Harry Potter shirt for my dog, which was supposed to be free according to the ad. However, nowhere did it say that I had to sign up for a 6 or 12 month subscription to get the free shirt. So now, I'm sitting here with three toys and no Harry Potter shirt for my dog. I even had to tell them the size clothes that my dog needs and it asked for her name.
I reached out to the people at Bark Box and they basically told me that it said I had to subscribe to them. I told them that nowhere in the ad did it say that. Needless to say, I will no longer be a Bark Box subscriber and I would not recommend this to anyone. The customer service is rude and not helpful at all. What a waste of $50.00!
I was really disappointed with the way Bark Box handled my situation. I was looking forward to getting a Harry Potter shirt for my dog, but now I'm left with just three toys. The customer service representative I spoke to was not helpful at all and seemed to be in a hurry to end the conversation. I felt like they didn't care about my concerns and were just trying to get rid of me.
Overall, I would not recommend Bark Box to anyone. The lack of transparency in their ads and the poor customer service experience I had make me hesitant to ever use their service again. If you're looking for a subscription box for your dog, I would suggest looking elsewhere.
I subscribed to their Services every single Box for the past 3 months has been Late
I subscribed to their Services every single Box for the past 3 months has been Late. Each time I reached out customer service representatives had lied and gave in false information that was not true. This month I had spent a $112 worth of add ons with this company for the past 3 weeks I have been reaching out and they would insist it would ship within a few days it still has not been shipped out. On their Facebook they go around offering expedited shipping service much Taylor told me that they cannot actually do that she said that their partner service has my package in their possession but when called pitney bowes the partner service they insist barbox still has my package. Every time I ask for an accurate date they give me a far outdate I wait till that time period and nothing is still done I am led to believe that my package is lost or I will never actually be given my package because of the company's invasive behavior and lack of any true information. I want my order shipped.

I have unauthorized charges on my checking account 2x per month since December . I called Bark Box on these charges in April. I was told the subscriptions would be cancelled and charges refunded. They are still withdrawing money from my account twice per month. There was no refund.I reached out to BarkBox again. They request credit card info, but I only have screenshots from my checking account. They dont have any account with my email. They didnt send me an email when they said they did. They wont tell me who is getting the merchandise that is associated with the charges on my checking account. They wont refund me the full amount. They finally acknowledged the fraudulent charges and refunded 6 months, but would not refund 3 of the 9 months. Even though they realized it was fraudulent. I didnt only reach out once. I called initially and thought this was resolved, but the charges continued & no refund was given. They have multiple screenshots from my account.
Barkbox continues to make unauthorized charges and am not getting anywhere trying to contact them -they make it impossible to cancel shipment, cancel box, request refund. for the past year!-i never signed up for anything but somehow they have been charging me for 1+ years over my original attempted cancellation. -every time i try to get with support, long call or chat times and then they close out on me.
Last year I signed up for 6 months of Bark Boxes in December. The company will automatically renew you every time and keep sending and charging you even after you ask them to stop! This has happened to everyone that tries to stop the charges. I have had to cancel my debit card so they can not charge me anymore. Also you never can talk with anyone it is just FB messenger.
I have canceled MULTIPLE times. I have proof. Yet I keep receiving this subscription and keep getting charged to different cards/accounts every time. This is fraudulent and I have heard many other experiences like this with this company. Please do something about this.
As the owner of a pandemic puppy I decided to purchase a 6-month BarkBox subscription on the recommendation of a friend
As the owner of a pandemic puppy I decided to purchase a 6-month BarkBox subscription on the recommendation of a friend. The toys are high quality and pup enjoyed the treats. The problem came when I received a 7th month box and logged in to my account to check why. It was then I realized this business has an automatic auto-renewal process and my 6-month subscription had "renewed" for another 6 months. I immediately "opted out" of this feature and emailed to ensure this was taken care of. And yet I have now received an 8th month and still they are insisting I must fulfill a "commitment plan" for another four months. I have cancelled payment through PayPal and hope this will solve the problem before the 9th month (which is set to process tomorrow morn). I am not seeking remuneration, I am happy enough with the products, but the service and policies of this business are questionably ethical if not just plain unethical. UPDATE- literally they JUST CANCELLED IT- this is now an FYI report.

I want to cancel my Bark Box. They allow to to cancel your subscription, but I will still be charged 4 more times for more Bark Box's. I'm attempting to have them cancel starting now, but I'm afraid I'll need to cancel my credit card so they can't keep charging me money.
Barkbox is a dog toy subscription box that comes monthly to your home. After being a consumer for years, I've noticed that the advertised toys are not the ones that I receive. Hence I feel that I was being mislead on what I'm purchasing. Barkbox advertises on social media, the advertised items are items that are no longer available for purchase; but are used to 'get you in the door' so to speak. I believe that I'm not the only one who has been schemed into buying something that was advertised only to receive a different item.
I ordered a bark box and then upgraded by paying in full for the next 6 months. I was charged an additional *** by mistake. There is no one to call to make a correction. The first box came and my dog loved the treats. The second box arrived and it was the same treats, and more toys. I want to cancel because it is not worth what I paid. There is a loop that you are in when you attempt to contact customer care. Bottom line, no one helps you.
On July 29th I signed up for barkbox. There was a free gift with sign up. I finished signing up and money was taken for the July's box. I think received an email on 8/3 from barkbox apologizing for the shipping delay ( I never reached out) stating they had upgraded my shopping to expedited shipping. I thought wow that was nice of them. Them August 10th rolls around and I notice all the tracking information they provided says unavailable. I reached out and was told it could show up and give it until Monday 15th. The 15th rolls around and nothing's shows up, I reach out again. I am offered a free double deluxe box in SEPTEMBER. Wait what! That's 2 months away. I also inquire on the free gift and it's swept under the rug. No answer provided. Today I was offered a refund of the 2 months I paid for or the deluxe box. I went for a refund. I have paid for 2 months and haven't received anything. This company is horrible. I reached out by email over 4 times and did not get a response.
I committed to a 6 month subscription to BarkBox for my dog
I committed to a 6 month subscription to BarkBox for my dog. After 4 months, I was not satisfied with the service so I contacted customer service to ask about if there was a way to terminate my subscription. I was told in the chat that I could not cancel for January since I was past the cancellation date but that my future boxes would be terminated. I was satisfied with this. But now it is February and Barkbox attempted to charge my card but I did not have enough in my account, I contacted them then to acknowledge that they shouldn't be charging me at all and my subscription was cancelled. They emailed me confirmation that my subscription was terminated. But today they charged me again and are now saying they can refund me but won't because they didn't know I wanted to cancel before the deadline when I clearly have confirmation that my subscription was terminated. On top of it, the chat person is saying I should have saved the past chat that said I was terminated because they don't have it on their end. So they are blaming me for their consistent mistakes.

I simply would like the company to delete my account and associated data with it. Nothing more. When I tried directly with them I received an email indicating that "Unfortunately, your state of residence does not afford you the right to make this request."
I recently received a package from BarkBox in the mail. I had no idea where it came from or why it was sent to me. I assumed it was some sort of promotion or effort to get me to buy their products. I didn't think much else of it. Then I received another one in the mail. While checking my banking account, I found a recurring payment of $29.99 to this company, withdrawn twice now. I have never heard of BarkBox and I certainly do not have an account with them. I've since reported the charges as fraud and canceled my card as a result. As others have said, attempts to contact this company are unsuccessful.
After several communications over the course of three months about the wrong items being sent to my dog and assurances that it would not happen again; the problem persisted. I requested multiple times in email exchanges to cancel the subscription and to not charge me again; however; I was charged today! I cannot reach a person and the website does not offer an option. Lastly, the support team continued to overlook and not respond to my requests but insisted on a better experience. I want a refund immediately and to not be charged again!
I have tried to cancel multiple times over the last few months and today I got charged $44.94 and $23.54 plus $64 in overdraft fees. I have tried to call multiple times but no one answers any of the messages. I have gone through texting them with no reply. I would like for them to refund all of the charges including the two overdraft fees that were caused by them.
In November I signed my dog up to receive the monthly subscription to the BarkBox toys and treats
In November I signed my dog up to receive the monthly subscription to the BarkBox toys and treats. In an attempt to make things easy I paid for the 6 months all at once. For this subscription the company charged my $114.40 on 11/17, then $63.21 again on 11/17 and then again $10.00. When questioned about this I was informed I would receive a $26.00 refund.I then opted for a stronger chew box since the toys were demolished in about an hour. I was told this would be an additional charge of $31.33 but was actually charged $67.16 on 11/27. Then refunded $20.00 on 12/3.The company did send out 2 replacement toys for the original November box but has not corrected the balances as they have told me they would. After repeated texting back and forth with the company without resolution I did inform them that I am reporting this to the Complaintsboard.com since the problems are not getting fixed and I am not at all happy with their services. I have exchanged a crazy amount of text messages with this company and they have yet to resolve the problem and I am tired of talking to them.

I only intended to enroll for 1 year of deliveries for my pet. Did not know auto renewed. I have a brain injury. Have had for *** early May. It is difficult to contact a live person at BBox by phone. I was charged $324.36. Only refunded &***. Chatted with Barkox today on *** chat, as again one cannot speak to a live person when using the provided phone number. I did not ask for my pet to have his May or June 2022. Bark is sent out, again it is literally impossible to speak with anyone at bark box. Even sent an email quite a few weeks ago to cancel my subscription, never received a Reply. Only an acknowledgment email had been received. Please refund the $27.03 difference, as again I was not provided a simple way of cancelling my subscription. Thank you, and never ordering from bark box again. I have my bank statement if need be confirming this discrepancy.
We cancelled the bark box like 3 months ago but they still charging me and send me boxes. I don't know this and I want to cancel it.
Hello" My bank notified me of fraudulent charges on my bank account on July 1, 2022 from Bark Box . I filed a fraud claim with my bank against these charges . On July 5, 2022 received a box from Barkbox I did not order. I tried to call the company using my skype phone but they are not reachable by phone. There is a barking sound when one pushes the button to speak to a rep. I see that my experience is not an isolated one from Complaintsboard.com complaints on this company.
My complains with Bark Box. Ive tried 3 times to cancel my membership but they keep sending me products and charging my account. There is not a phone number to talk to a person so I cant talk to anyone. Its impossible to cancel do I have to do a stop payment through my account.
Barkbox will not allow me to delete my account, only deactivate it and they have my credit card up there and I can't erase it
Barkbox will not allow me to delete my account, only deactivate it and they have my credit card up there and I can't erase it. This problem has been noted by other customers and they say on Complaintsboard.com they have been charged after termination. I don't believe it is legal for them to keep my credit card and not allow me to delete my account. They have other shady practices involved with the unauthorized use of credit cards: I was with them for 6 years and went to cancel and was told I needed to pay for the remaining year. I never got any emails -- nothing -- when each new yearly "cycle" started, a cycle with a secret contract unbeknownst to me. I signed up for six months or a year way back when I first started and then assumed it rolled over to monthly. Now they tell me each new year is a new CONTRACT and I'm forced to pay for the year until it terminates. This is repeatedly mentioned on the complaint Complaintsboard.com side. So this is another reason I want my credit card removed. I deactivated auto-renewal, am terminating the contract this month but they still have my card and won't let me delete the account.

On November 19 I was considering signing up for a subscription to bark box
On November 19 I was considering signing up for a subscription to bark box. I initially wanted a one-month subscription but then decided I might try instead a year subscription. I had problems trying to change the subscriptions and was unable to have a full chat with representatives because each time I spoke with one, it disconnected and I had to start over again. I tried speaking to ***, *** and chopper, *** and *** from 9 pm to 10:51 PM, trying to resolve and cancel the subscriptions. The reps told me it would be cancelled. I then emailed asking for the Subscriptions to be canceled and wanted confirmation so I could start the process over again. I discovered today on my credit card statement that they charged me for both subscriptions, one was for $124.27 and the other was for $28.25. As far as I knew, my transactions were void/cancelled. I wasnt even an active member yet. Nothing was shipped to me. I tried very hard to void/cancel it immediately. I tried calling, emailing for them to call me too. They didnt call. I want a refund back to my credit card from this company. Please help. Thank you.

I was looking to get a subscription box from them so I went ahead and got the cheapest one which costs $26.14
I was looking to get a subscription box from them so I went ahead and got the cheapest one which costs $26.14. I went through with the payment and then got a notification from my bank saying I was charged another $114.95. I immediately contacted them and got through to an agent. I stated what the problem was and that I wanted a refund...He sorted it out and said I should get the refund according to my bank's regulations. This whole thing happened on Oct. I should've had my money back on Oct. ***. It is now Oct.and I have not been refunded anything. So I just contacted them again and they said there was a "hiccup in the system" they need 3-5 days to see what the problem is. The refund was voided and I wasn't even notified! I went all this time unaware that there was an issue, and $141.09 on dog toys is kind of a big deal to me. I am barely willing to spend $25 let alone $141. I feel like I got scammed honestly, I was very patient with them and I had no problem waiting for my money but I could've gone forever without getting my money back and they didn't send an email, a letter, a text or call. So upsetting!
