Chair look good, feel good and make sit comfortable. Only thing bad is arm rest cause trouble. Screws no fit, hole bad, need make new screw length for arm rest and metal plate. But this easy fix, just go hardware store and pick out proper screw and some locktight. Chair great, just manufacturer be lazy with screw. Disappointing, but overall still nice chair.

I made another visit to Barcelona Designs today and boy, was I blown away by the changes they have made! It's been a few years since I stepped into their showroom, and the transformation is truly impressive. The showroom has moved to a larger room, giving more space to showcase their stunning furniture pieces.

As I walked into the showroom, I was greeted by the attentive staff, who answered all my questions with ease. They even showed me their best pieces and allowed me to take a few swatches home. Their knowledge about the furniture pieces was extensive, and they eagerly offered explanations wherever I had doubts.

So, me and my fam wanted to buy a new piece for our living room and after some research we decided to give Barcelona Designs a chance (barcelona-designs.com). But, honestly, our experience wasn't as cool as we were hoping. After we made our purchase we had a question about shipping- just a pretty simple one, ya know? And, man, we tried calling them SO many times. Like, at least 12 (I even lost count after a while). Only once in all those attempts did somebody even answer the phone and even then all she said was that she wasn't the right person and would pass us along to someone else. BUT- get this- that person never called us back. And every other time we attempted to call, their mailbox was full so we couldn't even leave a message. It was majorly disappointing, y'all. We were really questioning if this was even a legit company at all! I mean, what would happen if something went wrong with our order? We wouldn't even be able to get in touch with them! So, honestly, I can't go giving a glowing review for Barcelona Designs based on our experience.

I made a purchase on Barcelona Designs website, ordering an Eames Chair on June 29th. After some days, I received my order's receipt and tracking number from FedEx. I waited for my chair to arrive, but unfortunately, it got delivered to the wrong address. I spoke with the FedEx team, but they were unable to retrieve it. As soon as I learned about the delivery problem, I contacted the customer service team to find a solution.

It has been quite a while now, and I still haven't received the replacement product or refund. The worst part is that the customer service team told me that I should expect a replacement by early November. To this day, I have yet to receive any news or updates. Barcelona Designs has got super stylish, chic pieces that are just bang-on! They knows their installation process and they are pros at it! So, I finally took the big plunge and ordered the Eames chair and Ottoman from Barcelona Designs, and let me tell you, it's been a real trip. I put my order in early October and was quickly informed that the chair was back ordered. But they assured me that I'd have it by November 6. Flash forward to November 17, and I'm still waiting.

I got an email from customer service on November 9th with a sauce link to my shipping information, but when I tried it out - you guessed it - the link was a dud. To make matters worse, the tracking number they provided was invalid! So, I've been emailing customer service nonstop for the past week and haven't heard back a peep.

I've also tried calling them several times, but each time I'm told that my order "will ship tomorrow" and they will give me an updated tracking number. I'm starting to get pretty frustrated because this whole thing feels a little fishy. I'm pretty darn sure I'm not the only one who feels like they might be getting swindled.

At this point, I'm fed up and ready to take action. I'm reaching out to my credit card provider to dispute these charges because something is definitely not right here. It's a real bummer because I was so excited to get my hands on that chair, but it's just been one headache after another. Buyer beware, folks.

And to top it all off, the chair's quality ain't even that great compared to what they're charging for it. So, word to the wise, y'all. Watch out for Barcelona Designs.

Although I managed to connect with a customer service representative once, there was no follow-up response other than "we are forwarding your inquiry to the correct department." I think it's safe to say that they had no intentions of solving the problem.

I could go on and on about all the details, but the crux of the matter is that I got ripped off. I'm warning you, buyer beware. There were so many problems that I faced, and it was definitely not worth it. The only silver lining in all of this is that I had used my AMEX card to purchase the chair, and they were able to refund my payment and dispute the transaction.

Long story short, I will not be purchasing from Barcelona Designs again, and I also urge caution to anyone considering buying from their partner company, Manhatten Home Design.

While I did receive a ticket number right away, I still wasn't sure if my message had gone through, so I decided to call them up the following morning.

I tried to stop the shipment with more emails, but still no response. Eventually, the item arrived. I have to say, though, the packaging was great, and the item itself was easy to assemble and looked fantastic. It was exactly what I wanted, and it was super comfortable too (the cherry on top).

However, I did not receive any response from them for three whole days. I was getting a bit worried and thought maybe something went wrong. But then, on April 12th, I got charged for the chair, and only then I received a generic "order received" email.

I was hopeful that the chair would be delivered soon. But days turned into weeks, and I heard nothing. I tried to call them, but no one picked up. I sent emails too, but no reply. It was frustrating. Finally, when I managed to talk to someone on the phone, they gave me a runaround, saying that the item was on backorder. I was so disappointed.

I demanded a refund, and they told me it had to be done via email. However, when I tried to send the email, it said it was undeliverable because the site was shut down. I was furious!

To make things worse, I found out that the site claimed that the products were made in the United States, but they were actually made in China. I was so angry that I realized it was the biggest purchasing mistake of my life!
