Making reservations with AutoRentals was a breeze! I've used Fox before and was redirected to them through AutoRentals. The other sites I checked were charging a whopping $349 or more, but I was able to snag a last-minute deal for only $223. That's a steal compared to the other prices I saw! I made a reservation for a full size car for 4 days on AutoRentals.com. The price was 140.00, which seemed like a good deal to me. My pick-up time was at 3 o'clock, but they only gave me an hour to get there. Unfortunately, I showed up 15 minutes late and my reservation was cancelled. I was disappointed to see that there were no full size cars available at the time.

This experience has left a bad taste in my mouth, and I cannot recommend this company to anyone.

To make matters worse, I discovered that AutoRentals has received many negative reviews on other websites, which is very concerning. It's disappointing that they would not offer any reimbursement for my time and inconvenience, especially given the fact that they go through a company called CarRentals8, which has received 41 complaints and a Facebook review of only 1.7.

I recently used Autorentals.com to book a car rental for my upcoming trip to Costa Rica in July 2022. I paid for the full car rental through their partner site, Thrifty car rental. However, upon arrival, I was informed that the car I had paid for six weeks in advance was not available. After a lengthy argument, they finally offered me an old van with several mechanical issues. The counter person even warned me about the issues before I accepted the rental. Unfortunately, since we were in a foreign country with limited assistance, we had no choice but to take the rental. Autorentals.com was of no help and showed no concern about the issue. There was no one to speak to, and my email complaints were ignored. In my opinion, this site is a SCAM, and I would advise against using it if you want peace of mind.

I also attempted to book a car rental for four days in Reno, NV, through Autorentals.com. The rates displayed on the site were under $21 per day, but when I proceeded to pay, the total cost was $320! How can the initial quote be four times that amount? I have attached a screenshot to show you what I mean. I had no intention of using this site again, but when I searched for car rentals on Kayak, they automatically directed me to Autorentals.com. I strongly advise against using this site.

I recently made a reservation for a two passenger van on AutoRentals (autorentals.com) for a group of 14 people and lots of luggage. I specifically chose the Opel Vivaro, which was clearly shown in the reservation with a picture and stated "Opel Vivaro or similar" in two different areas. However, when I arrived at Avis to pick up the rental, they declined my hard copy of the reservation and offered us a smaller 7 passenger SUV, the Opel Zefir.

We explained that we could not fit in the smaller vehicle with all of our luggage, but Avis declined our request for the Opel Vivaro and told us to contact carrental.com with our issue. After much back and forth, we were forced to pay an additional 150 Euro per day to upgrade one of the cars to what we had originally reserved.

I sent an email to carrental.com with proof of my reservation for the larger Opel Vivaro, but they claimed that the reservation was actually for the smaller Opel Zefir. Despite providing hard copy proof, I received no response from them.

I strongly advise against using carrental.com for your rental needs. They are scammers who will tell you anything you want to hear to make a sale, but once the transaction is complete, there is no way to contact them for help or support. Don't be fooled by what you see in your reservation - you may end up paying dearly for it.

This company is a total rip-off! I had a terrible experience with them and I would never recommend them to anyone. I rented a car through rentalcars.com for pickup at an airport location. Unfortunately, my flight was delayed and I arrived late to pick up the car. When I got to the rental company, the woman at the desk told me that my reservation had been canceled by AutoRentals within 15 minutes of my scheduled pickup time. Can you believe it? Even if my flight had been on time, I still wouldn't have been able to pick up the car. And why did they cancel my reservation, you ask? Because they wanted to keep my full prepayment of $500!

I was so frustrated and angry. I had to rent a car at the desk and pay in full again. It was a complete waste of money and time. When I finally managed to get through to rentalcars.com, which was not easy since I was calling from overseas, they told me that I couldn't get any of my money back because I didn't cancel my reservation 48 hours before my scheduled pickup time. Who knows their flight is going to be delayed 48 hours before the pickup time? It's ridiculous!

This company is a scam and a fraud. Don't take any chances with them. Just pay a little more and go with a reputable company. Trust me, it will save you a lot of money and headaches in the long run.
