The girl I spoke with on the phone was nice, but here is why I called. I got a random alert that address had been added for me in Cleveland. I have never lived in Cleveland. When I called the company I was told they were given a "bad match" and not to worry. How does one not worry when you are thinking someone has hacked into your account and has your password? She assured me it wouldn't stay on there, but i changed my password all the same.

Zero stars. They "took over" a debt from 3 years ago from St. Vincent Hospital that I had not been told about or billed for for the past 2 years. They "took over" the account (that I didn't even know about) on March 4th and stated they only allow 45 days until they report it to the credit bureaus. However, they did not mail me anything to tell me this until over 30 days later, giving me less than a week to respond before they sent it to the credit bureaus. I was on vacation out of state so couldn't get my mail. I just happened to notice it on my credit rating (which dropped from 800+ to 749 because of this egregious business practice) so I called today and was told all of this by a rude, non-sympathetic customer service person who kept chastising me that this is my bill and I'm responsible to pay for medical treatments. I have always paid my bills... but no one has billed me for this! I wish every medical debt colletor would use United Collection Bureau for their collection agency. UCB has won multiple industry awards for ETHICS IN BUSINESS. AssetCare should follow their lead.

AssetCare No stars!

No stars! It would be nice if they would tell you what the matter pertains to like other debt collection agencies do. Because I have had information stolen from me in the past and when you tell them that they get rude and hang up. I'm all about getting my debts paid off but not if you are going to be rude and hang up on me before I can verify that they are a legit company.

No stars! It would be nice if they would tell you what the matter pertains to like other debt collection agencies do. "0" stars... I received a letter from AssetCare, LLC stating I owe a relatively large amount for services I never received. I called and nobody answered. I tried getting through at the hour they stated they were operational and outgoing message said they were closed. I decided to call twice more to leave a message and request they remove that debt under my name, but could not get through. Trouble connecting was the message I heard. SCAM!

AssetCare Zero stars

AssetCare Received a phone call today from this company, demanding I verify information

Received a phone call today from this company, demanding I verify information. I have no clue who you are or why you are calling me Received a phone call today from this company, demanding I verify information. I have no clue who you are or why you are calling me. I asked what they were calling about and the woman was rude and would not tell me what she was calling about. If there is something in collections I have no knowledge of any outstanding debt and have not contracted with them, nor have I received anything in the mail. I dispute any debt without knowledge of said debt without proof of said debt being provided to me with dates of service, provider and company. I am covered by Private Insurance and *** as I am on *** Again I dispute any debit until I have had the information forwarded to me so I may research the validity of of alleged debt.

Why is assetcare calling my cell (son of mother) to invade my privacy. I understand my mother got a letter from assetcare that she owes money. But now they are bothering my cellphone. I have nothing to do with these people. The same thing happened with gulf coast collections bureau a few months ago. Now assetcare is calling me. Why are they after me? I am the son of my mom, and when she got a letter from them, they call my cellphone. They need to leave me alone, I have nothing to do with them. Here is a pic of them, they called my cellphone on caller ID.

I have contacted the company and they do it have a bill listed for me for $120.00 that is showing on my credit report. This has been removed from my credit and it keeps begin transferred to different collection agency's and no one has this amount

The basis for my dispute AssetCare LLC,Mr. ***, President,ASSETCARE (Original Creditor: NORTHERN LOUISIANA EMERGENCY),XXXXX,$800.00 - was required to notify me prior to 03/01, or no later than 30 days after. ASSETCARE (Original Creditor: NORTHERN LOUISIANA EMERGENCY)failed to notify me about reporting derogatory info. to Equifax, Experian, and Transunion In section 603(p) 15 U.S.C. ss 168s-2(a)(7)(A)(I); "The notice required under subparagraph (A) shall be provided to the customer prior to, or no later than 30 days after 03/01, furnishing the negative derogatory information to a consumer reporting agency described in section 603 (p),' 15 U.S.C. ss 1681s-2(a)(7)(B)(I). Plus broke commercial law under UCC § 9.501 that all notices were timely and properly given by dated certified mail receipt. They were not met. I asked for documentation & received no response.

I have received a collection notice and a collection account on my credit report for a debt that is not mine. I have contacted the original creditors and debt collection agency and I was told by the original creditor that I do not owe any bill. This collection agency assetcare can not provide me with the information on the debt or prove I owe any debt. I want this removed from my credit report as it is not my debt and I want this company not to contact me any further.

On May 24, 2022 I sent letters to Assist Care LLC requesting that they validate NOT verify debts that they are attempting to collect from me. I specifically asked for a signed agreement and other supporting documentation. They provided me with billing statements which does not prove that I am obligated to pay them anything. They have reported delinquent information to the credit bureaus that I am asking to be deleted Under the FCRA 15 U.S.C. § 1681i, all unverified accounts must be promptly deleted. If you do not have any documentation in your files to verify the accuracy of these disputed accounts then please delete them immediately as required under Section 611(a)(5)(A)(i). By publishing these inaccurate and unverified items on my credit report and distributing them to 3rd parties you are damaging my reputation and credit worthiness.

On 7/19/2022 I received a letter in the mail. I am not liable for this debt with MAYFAIR EMERGENCY GROUP LLC and I do not have a contract with ASSETCARE. The original paperwork was not sent to me before this debt was added to my credit report. The Amount Disputed: $800.00. DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS COMPLAINT AS "VALIDATED". I AM FILING THIS COMPLAINT IS TO ENSURE THAT THE ACCOUNTS WILL BE PERMANENTLY REMOVED FROM MY CREDIT REPORT AND TO BE PAID FROM THIS COMPANY FOR THEM VIOLATING MY CONSUMER RIGHTS (FCRA). Date of transaction: 03/01. Amount of money paid: I have not paid anything to this company. What the company committed to provide me: If I pay $580.50 that will excuse the $1,151.00 debt I supposedly owe. Nature of the dispute: I failed to pay a debt of $1161.00 but it doesn't say WHAT hospital it was and what the procedure was that was not paid for. Whether or not the business has tried to resolve the problem: The business did not state whether it tried to resolve the problem just that "Your Illinois Hospitalists LLP account (again not mentioning WHAT hospital) has been sold to CF Medical LLC. AssetCare has been contracted to collect the outstanding balance." I contacted the hospital where I received care in 2020 and they stated I DO NOT have any outstanding debt nor do I have any outstanding debt that was sent to a collection agency. Asset care appears on my credit but I have never been notified by mail or by phone that I owed any amount of money. If I do I would like the report in writing and when and where they obtained this debt and what the process was since it states it was two years ago and I have no knowledge of this.

Assetcare LLC brought my credit score down 103 points and shows on my credit report that I owe 1398.00. This is not my debt, and I've never received a phone call or a letter that I have any debt.

Assetcare llc has put an item on my credit report for something that was not billed through my insurance. At the time of service, I had United Healthcare Student Resources insurance. The hospital bill was billed through my insurance, however the physician bill was not. The bill was also sent to the wrong mailing address and I never received the bill. The insurance did not pay because this was never sent through my insurance, I would like proof that this was sent to my insurance as the medical group is required by law to do so.

AssetCare Asset Care LLC reported a debt to the credit Bureaus before making contact with me

Asset Care LLC reported a debt to the credit Bureaus before making contact with me. When I called to inquire about the debt I was told they sent a bill to an invalid address. I asked for their policy on removing the debt if validated and paid in full. They said they would remove it from my credit report but refused to offer any of this language in writing. I was transferred to a manager Hillary who said the same thing. I must pay first and they will not send me any verification of the reporting or deletion policy in writing. This leave me, the consumer completely exposed. If I paid the debt I'm supposed to just believe their word over the phone? No way to protect my interest if they do not follow through? This is unacceptable and wrong. It's a $107 debt. Not sure why they refuse to put anything in writing before the collection of debt. I still don't even have an invoice. Meanwhile my credit has been harmed.

I received a letter from this company claiming I owe a debt of $25.45 originally from White plains hospital. This debit is completely invalid as they confirmed with me today they have no record of me ever owing this amount. They don't even have my name listed correctly. This is an invalid debt. The dates of service listed on the letter AssetCare sent me is also past the statute of limitations to collect on a debt so there should be no reason to contact me. I request this debt collection attempt to cease from contacting me based on the above.

AssetCare I need to have AssetCare LLC removed from my credit report!

I need to have AssetCare LLC removed from my credit report! I've been trying to get a hold of them to dispute this! I have been trying to reach out to the so I can get this removed from my credit reports(3 major credit bureaus). I tried reaching out explaining to them that I was unemployed a the time I was hospitalized, I believe it was 2015 when I was taken. And keep in mind, I just had graduated from High School, and unfortunately my parents didn't have the money to pay that for me either. It's now that I noticed that it's impacting my credit score. I'm doing my best to rise my score so in the future I can save for a house, but with this derogatory on my credit report, it just doesn't help. They do not seem to return my calls or answer at all! I noticed that they closed the case on 10/24 and opened it again 01/02 with a total of $271. Please remove this from my credit report, all circumstances are not the same!

This company is sending me a Notice of Debt on behalf of a Creditor by the name of *** Bend Emergency Group and that they have sold the debt to *** Medical LLC in the amount of $796.00. I have no creditor by this name and nor have I been seen by a creditor of this name. This company Cites multiple pseudo names (i.e., *** Medical, LLC, *** Medical II, LLC, *** Medical V, LLC, *** Medical, VI, LLC, *** Medical, LLC, *** Medical, LLC, A Medical Services, Special Finance Unit, LLC and their affiliated companies (collectively, the "Account Owners" or we")...also citing further this company is sending this privacy notice based on Gramm-Leach-Bliley Privacy Act, 15 U.S.C. sec 6801 et seq. This is not my debt and I dispute it. Their contact info is Assetcare 2222 "Texoma Pkwy, Ste 180, Sherman, TX 75090 and I extend my rights to privacy protections under state and federal laws including the Fair Debt Collection Act (FDA). I request removal and no admission to my credit report.

AssetCare I have been rudely contacted at all hours of the day and night and on weekends

I have been rudely contacted at all hours of the day and night and on weekends. I am being yelled at and even told that "people like me who don't pay their bills keep him employed" I had a procedure done in 2018, and have been told multiple times by my insurance company that the claim was paid in full, with nothing owed by me due to reaching the family deductible. In March Asset started their stalking. I have explained to them the situation. I have contacted the hospital and they have said multiple times that the account with them was paid in full by insurance. I asked them to contact assets and I was told since it was turned over to them several years later that I would need to work it out with Asset. I have called, explained, and even yelled back as I was being spoken to like a dog. I just called again a few minutes ago as I got another call today. I was yelled at, called a liar, and that I would have to deal with it unless I pay them. I will not be harrassed!

AssetCare I discovered a few days ago that I have an account in collections with this company

I discovered a few days ago that I have an account in collections with this company. I am getting dinged for a bill i NEVER got. My experian credit report showed that I had an outstanding debt in collections for $1428 that was opened in April . I NEVER received notification that I owed ANY money. I am guessing that this debt is for an incident that occurred in 2018 for an ambulance ride. I NEVER got a bill for the service, and was told I would NOT be billed. Never received bill for the ambulance, bc I was driven to the hospital, no bill from EMS. When I called, a rep from assett told me she could NOT provide any information about my account because I don't have an account number, nor bill or letter to reference. I NEVER GOT EITHER. Rep told me she couldnt assist w/o acct #. NO notification and can't access account to dispute, fix or even pay. How can this be legal? They are doing this with so many people, I can't get a car until this is removed. I WANT THIS TAKEN OFF

I have no knowledge of this debt neither have a contract with Asset Care LLC reported on 03/27 to my credit. Demanding removal from all bureos. On March 27,2020 they reported 3 different amounts to 3 credit agencies the detailed information of the amounts are as follow first one $2699 another one for $524 and another for the amount of $250. I have no knowledge of this debt neither have a contract with Asset Care LLC or have done any type of business with them. I am demanding removal I have no knowledge of this debt neither have a contract a contract with Asset Care LLC or have done any type of business with them. I am not liable for collection of this unknown debt . Never have/had a contract with Asset Care LLC. I am not responsible for this debt I was never informed of such debt prior to them sending to the reporting agencies. I demand a validation of debt with this company and prove of services. In addition this should be removed from my credit history in all three reporting agency immediately as this is hurting my credit and the opportunity of buying a home.

AssetCare Assetcare is wrongly billing me for a medical service supposedly provided 6 years ago and falsely reporting negative info to the credit agencies

Assetcare is wrongly billing me for a medical service supposedly provided 6 years ago and falsely reporting negative info to the credit agencies. I have received an invoice from AssetCare claiming I owe $215.54 from a medical service supposedly provided on 3/18! Their account# is XXXXXXX. There is no phone # on their invoice to call them, only a website to pay. I keep records of all of my medical bills and am sure to pay them after going through a bankruptcy 7 years ago for high medical cost reasons. Them making this claim is going to hurt my credit score. Going by their date of service and the amount, I'm assuming this was originally from Holy Family Hospital in Methuen MA, although I would like proof that's what this is for as their invoice does not state who the original provider was. I did go into collections for Holy Family Hospital and made payment to *** 85 Prescott Street *** in September. I never received any invoices from mb/ROI after that and can prove I paid this from my bank statement. It's not fair that a collections agency can make a claim after this amount of time. If I owed any money, why wouldn't the provider or original collection agency be contacting me for that?

AssetCare Assetcare claimed to buy the debt from an unpaid hospital bill

Assetcare claimed to buy the debt from an unpaid hospital bill. Hospital says they do not use Assetcare as a collection service. I received several phone calls from "Assetcare". They did not leave a message but when I googled them, they were labeled as collection agency. I was not aware I had any unpaid debt so I called them. They said it was from a hospital bill from 2019. When I told them I paid that bill, they asked for proof. I faxed over the receipts from my payment. I have not heard back from them, however I emailed the hospital to ask why they sent my paid in full bill to Assetcare. They said their records show my bill was paid in full and they don't do business with Assetcare. Today, I also received a letter in the mail by Assetcare reiterating the debt of $731 based on a hospital visit from 05/20. I don't know how Assetcare got my information or even knew I went to the hospital last year but I am very upset by all this. My credit had been severely negatively impacted and I was planning on buying a house in the next few months. I don't know who Assetcare is but I don't think they should be in business at all and I thought ComplaintsBoard.com should be aware of this at best morally bankrupt, at worst criminal, practice. The company states I owe 725 for a visited to plataeu medical on 6/30 Contacted both Dr and hospital and both say I was never changed for the amoun I have received tons of calls from company recently about an amount they state I owe. I have emailed them and been transfer for a bill to see charges that they will not provide to me. Contact both hospital and physician and they state other then the original 350 I paid for service I have no other charges. They say I owe 725 amd have begun to summit to my credit report. Reps of the company just told me to go the police if I didn't get charged the they would handle it but wouldn't send a bill for me to go. During the time after the visited on 6/30 I received a bill that only stated the amount from asset care llc for the amount of 725. I contacted hospital and physician both said I was paid in full and there wasn't a 725 charge. Haven't heard from the company until the past few months stating I still owe amount. I have asked them to put a hold on the report to my credit until issue is resolve they have either refused or state that it is another department job which I can I not get in touch with. I have reported to transunion. I am willing to take legal action if needed. Dues to fraudulent credit report i have recently been knock out of an auto loan for the first time in many years

This company keeps reporting a fraudulent debt to my credit score even though *** has removed the debt twice already. In July I went to the hospital for a minor burn. I specially told the hospital I am currently unemployed and have no insurance but I would like to have the wound professionally cleaned and dressed if it was under $300.00. The hospital notified me this was not possible so I left. 5 years later I receive a letter from Asset Care saying I owe $650 dollars for an unpaid medical debt. They then reported it against my credit report. I contacted *** Union and disputed the derogatory account and they investigated asset care LLC and determined the claim was invalid and removed it from my credit score. Asset Care then sent a letter saying they will settle for $250 dollars and reported and then filed another derogatory mark on my credit score. I contacted Trans Union and again they removed it. I have not received anything else from Asset Care but checked my credit score today and found again Asset care has filed another derogatory mark. I am in the process of having it removed again. Trans Union States that Asset Care will not respond with any proof or documents to prove their claim which is why the credit reporter removes the so called debt. However Asset Care keeps reposting their derogatory claim even though it is invalid. This is a scummy collection company that does not follow regulations or adhere to statute of limitations laws in California. This company is harassing me for a bill that is over 5 years old that I should never have been charged for in the first place.

AssetCare I received a letter from Asset Care in Mid-January

I received a letter from Asset Care in Mid-January. The letter was addressed to ***. I do not get mail at this location. I live in a small town where the postmaster knows me and while I eventually received this letter, between the holidays, I didn't actually get this letter till the end of January. I have been receiving zombie debt collection letters about "this" $3828.41 from *** Hospital debt for years. I have always sent in a debt verification letter at which point I never hear from the collection agency for at least a few months. I never get back a letter showing the.debt as verified. I was going to ignore this letter, assuming it was the same old incorrect debt. However, when I logged into my credit report I saw this being reported. Based on that I sent in a debt verification letter on 2/23/2022. I have never heard back from this collection agency. I assume "this" debt is not my debt like the others. I had a debt with *** Hospital from around 2017 which showed up on my credit report, I don't remember the amount. I called the hospital and paid the bill directly in full. The debt stopped showing up on my credit report a few months after I paid the debt in full. I don't recall any other debts with ***, and I especially do not have any unpaid debts. In 2020 I started getting collection letters about "this" debt. This debt is not my debt. And if, which it is not, it was my debt why is it being reported a second time when it was paid. Even if it was not paid why is it being reported with a start date of 11 when the start date was 10 and I didn't even receive a letter about this until 1/2022? You can't re-report a debt, you can't report a debt twice and you can't report an old debt as new. And again, that all is a moot point because this isn't my debt. I would like this debt to stop being reported. I have never received a debt verification letter. They continue to report it on my credit report.

Asset Care, LLC/Capio Partners, LLC is reporting false information to my credit bureaus. On June 16, I exercised my rights under FCRA 611(a)(6)(B(iii) which provides that a consumer may request "a description of the procedure used to determine the accuracy and completeness of the information shall be provided to the consumer by the agency, including the business name and address of any furnisher of information contacted in connection with such information and the telephone number of such furnisher, if reasonably available," regarding inaccurate accounts on my credit reports reported by Capio Partners, LLC, account # XXXXXX for $653.00, and account # XXXXXX for $964.00, by sending Method of Verification letters certified mail, return receipt requested to Experian, TransUnion, and to Equifax. Additionally, I filed a Police Incident Report proving that these accounts reported are false and do not belong to me. To date, I have not received any compliance/information/proof or verification methods to my request in compliance with the FCRA. To date, CCapio Partners, LLC is reporting false information to my credit bureaus.
