Bad service
They use false advertising tactics to attract more people. Their ad says it is completely free, but then they want you to donate $15. Yoga lesson was awful and teacher swears all the time!

In fact Asheville Community Yoga is free yoga for people who can truly cannot afford to pay for a class. It is true that they ask for a suggested donation of between $5-$15 per class. However, their policy is "pay what you can, when you can." They collect the donations in a box that is not monitored, so management and staff does not know who gives what, when. There is no pressure or judgement regarding your donation! Their only concern is that at the end of the day, there is enough in the box to pay the bills. This yoga studio offers donation classes from 6:55am until 10pm. They currently serve over 2000 Asheville residents! Obviously they're doing something right! It's unfortunate that this particular class didn't serve the above practitioner. All the teachers at Asheville Community Yoga are experienced, certified yoga instructors and they donate their time to this community teaching at Asheville Community Yoga completely for free. This center provides a space for teachers to practice Karma Yoga, selfless service. These teachers provide a much needed service and are setting such a beautiful example of community service. The facility is amazing. They provide all the props one would need for a safe practice and there is no other way to describe the atmosphere other than peaceful. As soon as you step through the door your are greeted with a friendly smile and immediately feel at ease. They offer so many types of classes all day long that cater to students of any levels. Beginners are more than welcome at Asheville Community Yoga. False advertising? No. The advertising that I've seen says "Free/donation based yoga" and when you go there they are very clear that they need financial support, but they do not expect anyone who is struggling financially to give. They only want people experiencing the positive influence yoga can have on our lives. If you live in Asheville or find yourself visiting, Asheville Community Yoga is one spot you will want to drop in!
