I made a purchase to Amekana on 8/25/23 the item I purchased was listed under "ready to be shipped" which according to Amekanas policy, ready to ship items ship in 2-3 business days and delivers in 3 business days after processing. However, my ready to ship item was not processed until a month later and they are refusing to give me a refund back due to their no refund policy. I reached out to the merchant via email and social media but i have not had a resolution from them or received my item until 9/25. They ensured I would get my item before 9/15/23 (even outside of the ready to ship policy). I will never order from them again!

AmeKana (amekana.com) is like a trap - they make you believe that their clothes are the bomb dot com, but in reality it's a total bomb. Their products are so cheap, but they charge you an arm and a leg for them. Don't even think about ordering from them, man. Trust me, save your money and go somewhere else.

Amekana, what a disappointment! You can't ever seem to get through to someone over there. And when you finally do, they're not much help anyway. Plus, have you seen their prices? Way too high for a company that treats its customers like they don't matter. Honestly, I would never, ever shop with them again. It's just not worth the aggravation.

I couldn't believe the audacity of these people. And on top of that, the dress wasn't even suitable for my birthday like they claimed it would be. I mean, seriously, what a bunch of liars!

It's clear to me that Amekana is not a reputable company and should not be trusted with anyone's money. I have all the receipts to prove my case, and I won't stop until I get the results that I deserve. And honestly, I don't even need their cheap clothes anyway. I'm done with them!

So to anyone out there thinking of shopping on Amekana, don't waste your time. They are not worth it. And to Susan and the rest of the Amekana team - get a life!

I was really excited to give Amekana a try when I ordered two new outfits for my birthday. I splurged and spent over $500 on a dress and a bodysuit, and even paid an extra $55 to have my items shipped to me quickly so that I would have them in time for my special day. But while I was expecting high-quality clothing for the price that I paid, that's not exactly what I got.

When my items arrived, I was dismayed to see that they were actually damaged right out of the package. My friend who was with me at the time couldn't believe what she was seeing as gems fell off of the dress, the collar tore apart from the fabric, and the breast cups were not tailored or stitched properly at all. I was so upset that I immediately started to take pictures of the poor quality of these items.

What's worse is that when I tried to contact Amekana to get a refund for these damaged items, all they would offer me was the chance to exchange the items for something else. To me, this was a clear sign that they don't stand behind their products and are only trying to scam their customers.

Overall, I am extremely disappointed in the quality of the clothing that I received from Amekana. I would not recommend this company to anyone, and I would not shop with them again if they were the last online clothing retailer on the planet. The low quality and poor workmanship of these dresses and bodysuits make them not even worth $30, let alone the hundreds of dollars that I paid for them. Amekana should be ashamed of the products that they are selling, and they absolutely owe me a refund for ruining what was supposed to be a special day for me.

So, I was super excited to place an order with Amekana on February 14th, 2023 for a stunning two-piece white set that caught my eye. The price was $300, but I decided to treat myself. After patiently waiting for seven days, I finally received my package on February 21st, 2023, and let me tell you, the experience was a disaster.

The moment I laid my eyes on the outfit, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. It was BLUE - yes, blue, with no trace of white, anywhere! I was livid and decided to immediately return the package via USPS priority service the very next day I could. So, on February 27th, the company received my return, and they claimed it will take three business day to review.

Today is March 6th, 2023, and I am yet to hear back from anyone from the company about my refund. I am beyond disappointed with the quality of the product and the customer service. The outfit is never worn and didn't come close to the color specified on the invoice or even remotely resemble the picture advertised. What’s even worse, is that the outfit's materials were of low quality, with many malfunctions, and the jewels and gems started falling off! Frankly, it is the worst experience that I have ever had from any company.

I’ve given this black-owned company a chance with my black dollars, but clearly, they don’t deserve it. I would advise anyone considering Amekana to stay away and spend their money elsewhere. The poor quality of the materials and service provided by the company is disappointing, and it leaves a lot to be desired.

I just want to share my experience with Amekana and feel a bit disappointed about the products I received. Although I was given a gift card towards a future purchase by the company, it doesn't seem like enough to make up for what happened.

To begin with, both jumpsuits I ordered were delivered damaged. The first one had a tear and was missing crystals, and the second one had so many crystals fall off during shipping and when I tried it on. It was really frustrating to see this happen, and it added to my workload for the day. I had to purchase fabric glue in order to secure the items and find the places where the crystals fell off. This process took me around 1 to 2 hours, which is a lot of time for me since my schedule is already tightly packed.

I really believe that $15 as a store credit is not enough to make up for the amount of time and energy I had to put in to make the jumpsuits functional. I value my time, and as someone who earns $93.00 per hour, I feel like it's not fair to offer such a small amount in store credit. This especially stings since both products came damaged, and it's unlikely that I would purchase from Amekana again in the future.

Overall, I really felt let down by Amekana and the quality of their products. I plan on sending in a complaint to the BBB and writing a review on their website to share my disappointment with others.

However, when the dress arrived on my doorstep, I noticed that there were actual mirrors on it - something I had no idea about when I placed my order. Needless to say, I returned the dress the next day and it was received by the company on October 4th. My gala was on October 14th, so time was of the essence.

However, when I finally heard back from the company, I was very disappointed. They told me that they could not exchange the dress due to "body odor." I found this quite funny because I had taken a shower and specifically not applied any lotions or perfumes before trying on the dress. The fact that they would even suggest something like this made me question their professionalism.

To add insult to injury, the dress cost me $385 and I am now unable to wear it due to both sizing and comfort issues. I completely understand the frustration of the previous reviewer who also found the material to be cheap. Although the dresses on the site look very pretty, the actual product does not live up to expectations - at least not in this case.

I would advise anyone considering making a purchase from Amekana to be very careful. The potential loss seems to be much greater than any possible reward. I hope that my experience will serve as a cautionary tale for others.
