Every time I go to another chapter, it takes eight coins. You don’t have any games to play or anything like that to acquire coins so after my coins are gone I’m gonna be deleting the app. Thank you anyways it seems like a decent story just not something I’m gonna pay a lot of money for and it seems to be wanting a lot of money.

Seems so far like a decent book. I feel like the taunting was a bit much for her to just have it all be ok just because they’re mates. Kinda have that old saying of, if a boy is mean to you it’s only because he likes you crap. I strum feel like there should be a limit. Otherwise I’m just starting it so not much to say beyond that.

As much as I had hoped for a better app than the ones I have been downloading, this one was just the same. The coin system made a single book very expensive and each chapter would cost up to 40 coins. The novels aren’t worth the time or money because they are in need of better editing and I would much rather watch an add to unlock episodes. Go to Galetea!

The books are great you can really get into them and not want to stop reading…. But it costs to much money to keep topping off your coins to keep reading. Some of us want to read really good books without paying an arm and a leg for it. I get the app needs to make its money i understand that completely but it cost more and more coins the higher u go in the chapters.

I originally downloaded this knowing I was going to have to pay and I was okay with that. I was thinking it probably wouldn’t be as much as buying a book off of Amazon or Barnes and Noble so I was down for it. But with the whole coins thing most books ended up being $45+ for one book! This is insane! I can buy 2-3 books by popular writers from any book store for this price.

O have had this app for 3 days and they are taking more money then I’m giving. I chose the $9.99 option and they tried taking $26. You don’t take peoples money. I love the books but the app itself needs work.I’m not happy at all. I wouldn’t recommend unless you don’t have a problem with paying more money than the amount of time you are reading. You put more money Into the app.

I downloaded this app after seeing it advertised as a COMPLETELY free reading app. When you have to PURCHASE coins in order to read past the 4th, very short chapter, it is NOT considered free anymore. To add to that, it’s expensive! For example, the book I was reading would’ve cost 6,029 coins to unlock the rest of the chapters; 3,000 coins is $29.99 I could buy a hard copy of a book for less than that!

When I transferred everything to my new phone this was the only app I was signed out of. When trying to log back in it refused my information and kept trying to make new accounts. I was blocked but in explaining the situation I was treated like a criminal by support. That’s the main reason I would never recommend this app. That and don’t start a story that isn’t finished. It takes the anthers forever to update.

Some of the best stories I’ve read so far! however, it’s so hard to pay for each chapter when they cost so many coins and are so short. I was mislead to believe that books here would be cheaper than at say Galatea and other apps. Either the chapters need to be less expensive or make it to where you can pay for a whole book at one time or better yet an annual subscription. But books can’t be like over $100 the way they are right now.

I was enjoying this app, but with the new update it isn’t registering the times I have read. I read for an hour and it said I didn’t read at all. It has taken 3.5 hours to show 1 hour. Had to go back on prior chapters to keep reading. A few of the chapters when I have the points to open the next chapter, if the chapter after requires less points to read, it will open that chapter and skip the one it should of opened. Very frustrating.

You can’t really read to be honest you have to pay every chapter and there not many ways of getting coins. I hate it good books to read horrible system. If you enjoy ready I really don’t recommend this app the only think you gonna read is like 10 min if it ( even less) and then have to wait 8hours for coins ( you’ll probably won’t be able to read after getting the coins do. You need a specific amount. Unless you pay some coins with real money.

Some books on here are written beautifully and have great story lines. That being said, I think it’s absolutely ridiculous to pay $30-$40 for a book. The chapters are short and the coins are not worth what you get for the price. Some of these books have 180+ chapters and every chapter ranges from 20-40 coins to unlock. The cheapest coin package you get is 500 coins for 9.99. Save your money and go to your local Barnes & Noble or Books a million.

I found this app via Facebook. It was advertised as free. I stared reading a story and became invested in it. After a couple “chapters” you have to unlock the next with coins. Since I was invested I thought fine I’ll pay for the 4.99 bundle. Each “chapter” is only about one full page of a book. Each “chapter” is 20-30 coins to unlock. The book I was reading has 229 “chapters” in it. This means one book would cost me a $39.99 bundle to have enough coins to read each chapter. $39.99 is ridiculous for one book.

This is absolutely perfect except for the face that I appear to have a lag? I've been grinding new books and it won't let me check the daily gifts. 30 minutes have passed and I'm close to 90 and I have 2 hours before it resets. Is there anyway I can get it to fix it? I exited out re opnes the app and even turned my phone completely off and it still doesn't work. Also the word limit for each chapter is kinda annoying. I can't have my wip book that I've been working on in it. Because of how short the word limit is. I could put it in parts but it's gonna take longer that way.

I saw your ad on Facebook and it said “all chapters free.” So, I downloaded your app. I read the first few chapters and was getting really interested in the plot when the next chapter that I clicked on said that I didn’t have enough coins to continue reading and would have to buy more! What happened to “all chapters are free?” I never would have downloaded your app, but your ad said that all chapters are free. That is very misleading and I DO NOT recommend anyone using this app. I had to give you one star in order to post this review, but you don’t deserve even one star.

I’m no stranger to reading apps, I’ve been an avid reader since I was two years old and I’m a novelist of fourteen years.
Never have I uninstalled a reading app so quickly, less than twelve hours.
The books I read, only three chapters of each, were uninspired, dull and poorly written. From over-narration of the protagonist’s backgrounds, A LOT of telling and inadequate showing, handling a tense and emotional situation poorly (making it almost offensive and trivial in the process), and grammar worse than a middle schooler’s, I found no joy in this app. I do not recommend and would suggest Galatea instead.

This app was okay at first but then I started noticing problems. 1. It often times will charge you for chapters you’ve already paid for 2. Free books are not really free 3. It doesn’t keep track of your coins for example I just clicked on a chapter to see how much it was, my coin balance was 56 I didn’t buy the chapter. I went to another book clicked on the next chapter my coin balance was suddenly 8 coins 4. If you click on a chapter multiple times the price goes up. Wanted chapter 11 in Aphas flower it was 20 coins waited until I got my “daily” went to purchase chapter it was suddenly 32 coins….the whole thing feels kinda scammy which is sad I truly enjoyed many of the books on this app.

I don’t want to play games while I read. I paid $10 for a mediocre book and half way through they want more money? There’s no way to tell how my to just BUY the book. I know they do this because if they put the actual cost up front NO ONE WOULD BUY IT. I have no idea how this app had so many 5 star reviews, I only imagine they were bought and paid for. If you want to read these types of books download KU and pay the $10 a month for unlimited books. This is such a scam and I’m SURE the author is not making any money off of these. This book is a 99c read you could buy at B&N. The book was fun but there was no editing and it was just like every other book in this sub genre. Nothing exciting and definitely not worth more than the $3 you pay for a similar book on Amazon. These apps would be interesting IF the author was getting paid better and the cost per book was reasonable. Otherwise it’s just a money grab.

I came across this app on Facebook. It was advertised as not having to pay for books, so I downloaded it. Sure enough, after four chapters of the “hook the customer” book, it’s wanting one to buy coins to unlock chapters, and they don’t come cheap. The chapters are short, as well, making it extremely expensive to read a book. The story for the first book has promise, but it could definitely use the help of a good editor. I’m not sure the stories are worth the price they’re asking.

I much prefer the Galatea app where one can unlock a chapter at no cost by waiting six hours. I don’t mind waiting six hours, and I have 20+ books going at one time, so there’s always something to read for free. Have I ever purchased extra points to unlock a chapter earlier? Yes, but it’s my choice not to wait the six hours in that case. No one is holding a chapter hostage until I spend money to unlock a chapter. Their business model is one that this app should consider. I saw a lot of reviews with the same opinion about this app. The developers of this app need to find a better business model if they want to keep readers.

I am liking the story but it will takes months to read collecting daily coins or will cost more than $60 to read quicker. Also right now there are 181 chapters and the story doesn’t show as completed.

The books are good don’t get me wrong but you have to wait to get coins to read the next chapters and then it give you the options to buy coins and the whole point of downloading this app was for free books

The stories are good but the chapters are to high for the amount of story you get per chapter. I wish there were more ways to earn coins so you could read more it would offset the prices being high if you could get the coins easier

I like reading new authors; Even when they aren’t perfect. But paying $29.99 for enough coins to finish a book is ridiculous. The story line is good, but you can tell it’s new author. I do t even pay that much for a hard back A list author.

In order to “buy” chapters, users have to “buy” coins. Just charge for the app, already! That’s kind of misleading to offer the app for free then charge BY CHAPTER. You could just either charge for the app or charge for the whole story. Sheesh.

The points screen has disappeared so seeing what your points are for reading aren’t available which is inconvenient and annoying. Very high coin cost too per chapter compared to some other apps I use which is unfortunate as I like some of these stories.

Don’t get this app. There really is no point as they make you pay a ridiculous amount of coins to unlock chapters for books that are extremely poorly written. Get an kindle unlimited subscription or wattpad as you get way better quality at a cheaper price.

You’re supposed to get rewarded for reading for a certain amount of time but the app doesn’t always count the time you read. I’ve read for over an hour and it only registered 1 minute! I’ve tried logging out, updating and simply restarting my phone but nothing works!

You have to pay coins to unlock every chapter and in order to do that, of course spend money to buy coins. Each chapter is also a different price, so they wait until you get a few chapters in and increase the coin price dramatically to open the next chapter. Ridiculous.

It has good stories but when you get into them they want you to pay for coins and I just don’t have the money if it was cheaper it would definitely be five stars but because of the money I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone that I know won’t want to pay for everything‍♀️ .

The fact that this app charged coins for every chapter, then breaks the chapters up into micro sections so that you end up spending an average of 4000 coins to read a novel is straight out extortion. I ended up buying the digital version of the book from either Amazon or B&N

It’s very annoying that you don’t even get a daily amount of coins. This book would cost $40 to read it and I’m hooked. I thought if I got a daily amount I could still get stuff done through the day instead of reading it in one sitting but… I’m just going to have to stop altogether

I love the stories on here but it cost way to much to actually read them. I’m very disappointed. I don’t have $60+ to spend on one book. It wouldn’t cost so much if the chapters weren’t 35-75 coins each. That’s just to much. I have another app and each chapter is only 10 coins each.

So the story I was reading was ok, but the fact that the amount of couns needed to read the next chapter keeps going up tells me that this is a scam. Also, you need to hire a copyeditor as there was some issues a good copyeditor could have fixed and not made it necessary to ignore to keep reading.
