AllNurses A Valuable Resource for Nursing Students and Professionals

As a nursing student, I stumbled upon Allnurses.com and was pleasantly surprised by the wealth of information it offers. The site has been a valuable resource for my son, who is also a nursing student, and for me as someone working in the medical field. I have found the community to be supportive and informative, with real-life experiences shared by fellow nurses. While there have been some critical reviews regarding bias and moderation, my personal experience navigating the site has been positive. I appreciate the camaraderie and the genuine help provided by the members. Overall, Allnurses.com has been a great source of information and support for both students and professionals in the nursing field.

AllNurses AllNurses Review: Helpful Resource with Limitations and Racial Component

I totally agree with the previous review about AllNurses. I have been a member of this site for quite some time now and I have had similar experiences. However, I would like to share my own experience with the site.

I have noticed that there is a racial component on the site that is not addressed by the moderators. I have seen some members make derogatory comments about people of certain races and it is very disheartening. What is even worse is that when I reported these comments to the moderators, nothing was done about it. In fact, I felt like the situation was escalated further against me.

Despite this, I still find some value in the site. There are some members who are very helpful and provide great advice. However, I would caution anyone who is seeking professional advice to look elsewhere. The advice given on the site can be unprofessional and unethical at times.

If you are a nursing student or a nurse seeking advice, I would recommend contacting your state board of nursing or your school instructor. They are better equipped to provide you with the guidance you need.

Overall, AllNurses can be a helpful resource, but it is important to be aware of its limitations and to take any advice given with a grain of salt.

AllNurses AllNurses Exposed: Founder's Dark Past and Lack of Support for Nurses

I can't believe what I just found out about AllNurses (allnurses.com). Apparently, the founder of this site was a total psycho who killed his entire family during a vacation and then took his own life. It's sickening to think that a site for nurses was created by someone capable of such a heinous act.

But that's not even the worst part. AllNurses has never really supported nurses. In fact, they'll ban you for trying to help other nurses who are struggling with addiction. It's ridiculous. If you really want to connect with other nurses and get the support you need, I highly recommend Nurseboards.com. It's a much better option than this crazy site.

One of the things I love about Nurseboards is that you can create your own private groups. You can even make them hidden from Google indexing if you want. And there's a group for every specialty, so you can connect with other nurses who understand exactly what you're going through.

Overall, I think Nurseboards is a much better option than AllNurses. Don't waste your time on this madness.

AllNurses Mixed Feelings: My Experience with AllNurses

I've been a member of AllNurses for quite some time now, and I have to say, it's been a rollercoaster ride. I've had my fair share of ups and downs with this site. I remember when I first joined, I was so excited to be a part of a community of nurses who could share their experiences and knowledge with each other. I was eager to learn and grow as a nurse, and I thought AllNurses would be the perfect place to do that.

For the first few months, everything was great. I made a lot of friends, and I learned a lot from the other members. I even started posting regularly and contributing to the site. But then, one day, something happened that changed everything. I wrote a post that offended one of the mods, and I was immediately banned from the site. I couldn't believe it. I had been contributing to the site for years, and now I was being punished for one mistake.

To make matters worse, I later found out that many of the mods on the site were unlicensed and had been disciplined by their state boards. It was shocking to me that these people were still fielding questions about nursing when they weren't even licensed to practice. It made me question the integrity of the site and the people running it.

Despite all of this, I still think there is some value to be found on AllNurses. There are a lot of student nurses who frequent the site, and they can benefit from the knowledge and experience of the more seasoned nurses. However, I would caution anyone who is thinking about joining the site to be careful. Don't set up an account unless you absolutely have to, and don't view any ads that are linked on the site. And if you do decide to post, be very careful about what you say. One wrong move could get you banned for life.

AllNurses Allnurses.com: A Game-Changing Resource for Nurses

I've been a fan of allnurses.com for a long time, but I only recently became a full member. Let me tell you, it's been a game-changer! This site is simply amazing. The changes that were made earlier this year have made it even better. I've never had any issues with the moderators or site staff, which is a big plus.

Sure, there are ads on the site, but who cares? It's 2019, and every website has ads. It's just the way things are. Besides, the ads on allnurses.com are pretty unobtrusive, so it's not a big deal.

One thing I love about this site is that the frequent posters come and go. It's natural, given that these are real, working nurses who have jobs and lives. The changing faces on the site keep it fresh and bring new perspectives to the conversations. It's always interesting to see what new people will bring to the table.

Now, I know some people complain about getting banned from the site. But let's be real, it happens. People get put in Twitter and Facebook "jail" all the time. And honestly, I think deleting toxic posts on allnurses.com is a good thing. I'd rather have real conversations instead of a couple of sour apples ruining an otherwise helpful and informative website.

Overall, I'll definitely keep coming back to allnurses.com. I love the people and I love the conversations. It's a great resource for nurses, and I'm so glad I finally became a full member.

AllNurses AllNurses Review: A Positive Community with Good Moderation

I gotta say, I don't got no beef with the mods on AllNurses. They seem to be doing a good job of keeping the trolls and troublemakers in check. It's a pretty positive place, and they try to keep it that way.

If you're new to the site, make sure to read the TOS. If you break the rules, you'll get a warning. Keep it up, and you'll get the boot. That's pretty standard for most discussion sites, though.

Now, let's get down to brass tacks and talk about the site itself.

First off, there are ads. But hey, what site doesn't have ads these days?

The mobile version is a bit slower than some other sites I've used, but it's not a dealbreaker.

The search function is powered by Google, but I gotta be honest, it's not the greatest. I have a hard time finding what I'm looking for sometimes.

The site is pretty big, and it can be a bit overwhelming at first. But they do a good job of moving your posts to the right place if you put them in the wrong spot.

One thing I really like about AllNurses is being able to talk to other professionals who are going through the same stuff I am at work. It's nice to have that sense of community.

Overall, I'm a fan of the site. I keep coming back, and I think you will too.

AllNurses Toxic and Conformist: My Experience with AllNurses.com

AllNurses (allnurses.com) is a website that claims to be a community for nurses to share their experiences and opinions. However, my experience on this website has been far from positive. It seems that you have to sugar coat everything related to nursing, even the unpleasant aspects. The people on this website are like bullies and crybabies who never grew up. They will delete your post or even ban you if they don't like it, regardless of whether it follows the community guidelines or not.

The worst part is that you have to conform to group think on this website. You cannot discuss issues between nurses or share your own opinions and experiences. Even if you comment on common nursing issues such as bullying, they will delete it. The self-proclaimed Nurse Veterans will pick apart everything you write. They act as if they are some sort of God that you should praise, chanting their credentials over and over. If you disagree with an RN, BSN, or MSN and you are an LPN or CNA, they will rip you apart if you're too opinionated.

Moreover, the entire website is an ad for online colleges. It seems like this is not a place for opinions, but rather a place where you have to kiss butt and get praised for it. What's the point of this website anyway? It seems like a bunch of miserable nurses getting off on being byches.

In conclusion, I would not recommend AllNurses to anyone looking for a supportive community of nurses. It is a toxic environment where you have to conform to group think and kiss butt to get any recognition. The moderators are bullies who will delete your post or even ban you if they don't like it. It is not a place for opinions or discussions, but rather a place for miserable nurses to vent their frustrations and bully others.

AllNurses AllNurses Review: A Disappointing Lack of Support and Empathy for Nurses

and other hurtful things if you dare to ask for help on AllNurses. I was really disappointed with my experience on this site. I was hoping to find a community of nurses who could relate to my experiences and offer support and advice. Instead, I found a group of people who seemed to think they were better than everyone else and were quick to judge and criticize.

If you're looking for a place to connect with other nurses and get advice, I would recommend looking elsewhere. AllNurses is not the place for you. The people on this site are not interested in helping others or sharing their experiences. They are only interested in making themselves look good and putting others down.

I was really surprised by the lack of compassion and empathy on this site. As nurses, we are supposed to be caring and understanding. But the people on AllNurses seem to have forgotten that. They are more interested in tearing others down than lifting them up.

If you're feeling discouraged or overwhelmed in your nursing journey, don't turn to AllNurses for help. Instead, talk to your school's counselors or reach out to other nurses in your community. There are plenty of people who are willing to offer support and advice without judging or criticizing you.

In conclusion, I would not recommend AllNurses to anyone looking for a supportive community of nurses. The people on this site are not interested in helping others and will only make you feel worse about yourself. Look elsewhere for the support and advice you need to succeed in your nursing career.

AllNurses AllNurses Review: A Platform Filled with Negativity and Bullying

I've been a member of AllNurses for quite some time now, ever since I was a nursing student. Initially, I thought it was a fantastic platform to connect with other nurses from all over the world. However, my experience on the site has been less than ideal. I've been bullied on multiple occasions, and the moderators didn't seem to care about my concerns. Eventually, I got fed up and gave it right back, which resulted in me getting banned from the site. It's worth noting that I never paid for the site's services, but I doubt that paying customers would get treated any better.

The thing is, we all come from different backgrounds, cultures, and places. Our career paths are unique, and we all have different experiences. It's unfortunate that some members of the site, who claim to have Bachelor's degrees or higher, make assumptions about people they don't even know. With that level of education, you'd think they'd be able to put their biases aside and treat everyone with respect. Unfortunately, that's not the case on AllNurses.

The members of the site constantly told me, and I'm sure others, that I wasn't good enough. After taking a break from the site for a year and finding my way, I realized that everything they said about me wasn't true. They didn't know me personally, and they certainly didn't have the same career setbacks that I've had. Most of them have had the same job for years and haven't suffered from the economic crisis. In fact, many of them don't even work in a hospital setting.

I would advise anyone to stay far away from this site. It's filled with negativity and can be quite depressing. You'll be surrounded by people who will bring you down instead of lifting you up. Instead, try networking with registered nurses who actually know your strengths and weaknesses and can help you move forward in your career.

AllNurses Premium Membership on Allnurses: Not Worth the Money for Business Promotion

I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience on Allnurses. I shelled out $30-40 for a premium membership, thinking I could use it to promote my business. I mean, they advertised a "signature" and the option to link to my website as perks of the premium account, so I figured it was all good. But apparently, that's a big no-no on their site.

I got a warning not to post links in my signature, so I took it down and stopped mentioning my website altogether. I only posted helpful content that other readers were asking about. But then they deleted my posts that had my signature, and put me in "moderation status" because I put a link in my signature to my "About Me" page (which is still on the Allnurses website, mind you).

So I made sure not to mention my website at all, and even told them that was my intention. But then, out of nowhere, I got banned for "blatant advertising self-promotion." Like, what? I didn't even mention my business once! And to make matters worse, there was no way to contact them or appeal the ban. I was just out $30-40 with no explanation.

I did post a few times the day before, but none of my signatures had links or references to my business. I just identified myself as an "RN and Entrepreneur." And yet, I still got banned. It's just frustrating, you know? I paid for a premium membership and followed their rules, but still got the boot. I wouldn't recommend Allnurses to anyone looking to promote their business.

AllNurses Unjustly Accused of Charting Fraud: My Heartbreaking Experience as a Nurse

I had an experience with AllNurses that I found quite interesting. As a nurse with over 43 years of experience, my dream of becoming a nurse started twenty years prior to that. I worked my way up the nursing ladder, starting as an LPN, then a LPN med nurse. I then went to my local community college to obtain my A.D. and then went right into the teley net program for BSN. I was thinking about the N.P. program when, instead of being a great aunt, I became a new foster mom with a 3-month-old baby to raise and a husband without a job due to health reasons. Somewhere in there, I had two biological children to help raise with my husband. I also continued to work full time to support my family.

Then, all of a sudden, I was accused of charting assessment and patient arrival to the unit before it happened. As most nurses would feel, I was in shock for 6-7 months. I believe that no matter what, you have your honor when all else fails. Never in my career would I lie about a patient or patient care. I may have forgotten to chart a few things that happened as several crises happened at once, but never adding anything, especially knowing I was the sole support for my spouse, foster daughter (who has another year in high school and a new baby), and new foster granddaughter (who just turned 16 months old).

I was called to a meeting several weeks after this was supposed to happen, but no documentation was shown. Then, two weeks later, I was terminated and escorted to the front door like a common criminal. As I said, I was in shock. This could not be happening, but it was. My family has been encouraging me to talk with an attorney to protect myself and my reputation due to libel, but every time I think about doing this, I get physically sick.

So, at 62, I have decided not to return to the nursing profession. Over the many years I have been in nursing, walking the long concrete floors day and night, I have decided to retire early and check out disability. I have had to have both knees replaced, and my low back is shot. Although this being on my record does leave a bad taste in my mouth and gut, I am waiting on the Board of Nursing's response before going further to restore my "good name" and reputation. Good luck to you. At least this happened at the end of my career, but it hurts no less!

AllNurses Unexpected Ban from AllNurses - Frustrating Experience

So, I was using AllNurses (allnurses.com) for a while and I was really enjoying it. But then, out of nowhere, I got banned. I don't know why, I really can't think of anything I did wrong. It's a shame because I really liked the website. I didn't get into any arguments or anything like that. It just happened suddenly and without any explanation. It's really frustrating because I feel like I didn't do anything to deserve it. I hope they can sort it out and let me back on the site because I really miss it.

AllNurses AllNurses: From Supportive Community to Cesspool of Negativity and Drama

I've been a member of AllNurses for 30 years now, ever since it first started with Brian. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with him when he doxxed me over a thread he didn't agree with. It was a cowardly act, but it pales in comparison to what he did later - killing his family and then himself. It's a tragedy that still haunts me to this day.

As for the site itself, I have to say that it hasn't changed much over the years. In fact, I think it's gotten worse. The community used to be more supportive and helpful, but now it seems like everyone is just out for themselves. There's a lot of negativity and drama, and it's hard to find any real value in the discussions.

To be honest, I find the whole thing pathetic. It's a shame that a site that was once so helpful and informative has turned into a cesspool of negativity and drama. I still visit occasionally, but I don't participate much anymore. It's just not worth the hassle.

AllNurses Mixed Feelings About AllNurses: A Review of the Nursing Community Site

So, I've been using AllNurses for a while now and I gotta say, things have been a bit weird lately. Apparently, the person who started the whole thing went and did something really terrible, which is just awful. But it seems like since then, the mods have been cracking down pretty hard on people. I've seen a lot of long-time members just up and disappear, and it's kind of worrying. I mean, I get that they want to keep things under control, but it feels like they're going a little overboard.

It's a shame, really, because I've found a lot of good information on this site over the years. There are some really knowledgeable people here who are always willing to help out with questions or concerns. But with all the changes that have been happening, I'm not sure if this place is going to be able to keep going. It's a tough situation all around, and I hope that things can get better soon.

Overall, I'd say that AllNurses is still a good resource for anyone in the nursing field. There's a lot of valuable information here, and the community can be really supportive. But with everything that's been going on, it's hard to say what the future holds. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

AllNurses Biased Moderation on AllNurses: A Frustrating Experience for Non-Left-Leaning Nurses

AllNurses is a website that provides a platform for nurses to connect and share their experiences. However, I have noticed that the moderators on this website are biased towards a particular political affiliation. They seem to be very radical left-leaning in the Politics section, which can be frustrating for those who do not share the same views.

One of the biggest issues I have noticed is that the moderators will apply warnings and selectively remove comments or put restrictions on account functions if they do not agree with a particular opinion. This can be very frustrating for those who are trying to have an open and honest discussion about a particular topic.

Furthermore, I have noticed that there is open prejudice against the only group that is considered politically correct to discriminate against. This is not acceptable and goes against the very principles that the nursing profession stands for.

Overall, while AllNurses can be a useful resource for nurses, it is important to be aware of the biases that exist on the website. It is important to approach discussions with an open mind and to be respectful of others' opinions, even if they differ from your own.

AllNurses AllNurses: From Party to Bummer - A Review of the Site's Recent Changes

AllNurses used to be a real hoot, but lately it's been slower than a snail on a hot day. It used to be a real party, with all sorts of interesting conversations going on. But ever since the big boss passed away, it seems like the new folks in charge are trying to put a lid on things. They're always moderating everything, which is a real bummer. I think a lot of people have lost interest, and I'm one of them. It's just not as fun as it used to be.
