Air France review: My son's luggage

My name is Robert T. Dorsch Sr and I reside in Sandia, TX. My son is Robert T. Dorsch Jr and is in the United States Navy and his currant command is on the USS Mount Whitney stationed in Gaeta, Italy. The reason I am reaching out to your office is that I need and request your help and assistance.

Robert Jr came home for leave in August of this year and Robert Jr flew back to Norfolk, VA on the 4th of September ‘23 with five pieces of luggage. On 5th of September ‘23 Robert Jr flew out of Norfolk, VA to New York City, NY in route to his new command. Robert Jr’s flight in Norfolk, VA was delayed and left sometime later. Due to Robert Jr’s flight leaving late (not on time), his connecting flight in New York City, NY to Paris, France flight had left and he did not get another connecting flight until six hours later. Once Robert Jr got another connecting to Paris, France and arrived in Paris, France, his connecting flight to Naples, Italy had left and Robert Jr waited 12 hours inside the airport for a connecting flight to Naples, Italy. Robert Jr got a connecting flight to Naples, Italy and once he arrived in Naples, Italy his luggage did not arrive with him.

Approximately two and a half weeks later, three out of five of Robert Jr’s luggage made it to Naples, Italy. The next day, the other two pieces of Robert Jr’s luggage were delivered to my house by FEDX. The two pieces that were delivered to my residence were Robert Jr’s sea bag containing his uniforms and the other piece of luggage was a garment bag containing his dress uniforms (The two most important pieces of luggage)

I contacted FEDX and advised them that my son’s bags should not have been delivered here but to Naples, Italy. The FEDX associate who I spoke with stated that Air France arranged the shipment of Robert Jr’s luggage to my residence.

I then contacted Air France and when I call the Airline, I am speaking to someone in the Philippines, and they tell me that they cannot help me. I asked and requested to speak to a supervisor, I was denied.

Air France is responsible to get my son's Military back to him!

Desired outcome: Air France needs to make necessary accommodations to get my son's US Military Uniforms with no cost to my son due to the inconvenience that has caused!! Also, compensation from Air France as Well!
