401 Auto RV Canada This kind of salespersons shouldn't have a license, they are not salespersons they are thieves.

Last year I bought a car at 401auto at Hamilton location I can tell it was not the best experience.

****recently last week someone from the renewal dept called me saying they could help me to reduce the interest I'm paying now, I was happy and later on **** Andrea Rodriguez**** called me saying the way to help me reducing interest was trading in my car and get another one

I said to Andrea I would like to have a brand new SUV but she said it was not possible but she offer me a 2021 subaru because according to her that car will absorb the negative equity of my current vehicle I was not sure about it so I refused because I preferred a brand new car.

next day Andrea called me again saying she got me a better deal, so I went again to ****401Auto on Upper James in Hamilton**** and ****Brian, her manager**** was waiting for me to explain me the same situation about the used subaru, but this time he said he will give me a car that worth's $30,000 at the price of $19,000 this way this car will absorb the $11,000 of negative equity of my current car once I understood the situation I said yes. but

Surprise!

when I started singing the documents I realize that after all the explanation from the "Manager" they wanted to charge $16,000 of negative equity of my current vehicle plus $30,000 of the used subaru.

when I saw that I told Andrea it was not what Brian and me discussed before so this time she went for such a rude guy I think his name was ****Kevin**** he came to me and started talking rude to me trying to intimidate me to sing, I got scared I just ask Andrea for my documents and ran away from there, my wife and kids saw that, I am very disappointed, frustrated for being unable to do anything.

I hope someone can read this and think twice before buying from 401Auto Hamilton

I think this kind of salespersons shouldn't have a license, they are not salespersons they are thieves.

Recommendation: Hope nobody buy from them, they over price their vehicles and interest are insane

401 Auto RV Canada Overcharged

I bought a truck 1.5 years ago. It recently caught on fire. I only hade this truck a short time. I paid $48,588. But my insurance company is telling me it’s only worth $28,000 I bought the truck used. It was a 2018 Dodge ram. I only put 30,000km on it so how did the truck depreciate so much in just 18 months. The salesman told me drive it for 6 months then you can trade it up or get a better interest rate! Ya right they don’t answer my calls or get back to me. Also I always feel that the car dealer switched the truck on me. I bought it unseen over the internet. It looked nice we agreed on the price but when I got the truck it didn’t seem worth the money but I bit my tongue because I really needed it for work. But now that this has happened and now I’m going to get stuck with a $15,000 loan with nothing to show for it. It seems not fair. I would like the dealership to help me out of this jam.

401 Auto RV Canada Terrible interest rate

Terrible interest rate. Offered to refinance for a better rate and was told the loan on my car is bigger than what the car is worth so no refinance and no trade in...as was promised at signing.

. On June 14th we went there to look into buying a new trailer. Their website had a popup trailer that looked perfect and had an amazing price. When we arrived, we were told that we could get that trailer, but at that price it wouldn't even have any electrical hookup, it would be a shell. WHATS THE POINT. So, since we were there, we started looking at other units and negotiating prices. After 2 hours we ordered our trailer and signed the paperwork (oh, they also charge $1000 for a safety (new trailer) and PDI). Lucky for me I took some pictures of the paperwork before we left (they only gave the loan document). During the negotiation process we were told that there was 1 unit left on the lot that had everything we wanted, including the $2500 Camper package (fridge, stove, sink, heater, etc.) and it should be ready in a week. Three weeks later we get a call, asking when we could come to pick it up, but part of the deal was they would be delivering it to me, so I was a little confused. We planned a delivery date and I had to wait more.
Finally, the day the unit arrived, the guy who delivered it was "new" and didn't know where the manual (it never came with one), the crank to lift it (inside the unit), or anything else was. So, he had to call his boss to find out where it was. After locating the tools needed to operate my trailer, we unhitched it, and when I went to open it, he was packing to leave. He asked me to sign the paperwork stating that I accept it and it was delivered, and when I said I wanted to wait to see it opened before I signed he was insistent that I sign so he can get to his next delivery and if there were any issues to call CampMart RV.
Well, as you can guess, after opening it I quickly realized that there was no fridge, no stove, no... anything. DID THEY THINK I WOULDN'T NOTICE? After calling Kim (the delivery guys boss) at CampMart, I was first questioned if I got the correct trailer, so I verified the VIN, Kim then questioned if I actually ordered the camper package, because she didn't see if on my bill. Remember the pictures I took of the paperwork, well it said, "See Kim for Client wants, Full Camper Package." I pointed this out, and she was shocked that I knew it was written there.
As a side note, my brother and sister in law got a quote from a different CampMart RV and it was actually written on a sticky note.
Kim finally put me in touch with the manager, Scott C., and we spent many hours, over many calls discussing how to make this correct. To start off, they offered me $1500 to make up for the camper package (they told me it was $2500 when I bough it), they then offered me a mini fridge and a Coleman stove on top of that. NOPE. I told him to get me what I ordered; they didn't have any. I asked them if they could upgrade me to the next model; they didn't have any in Ontario with the Camper package (I call BS). Finally, they said they could make me a new trailer, but it wouldn't be ready until mid August. I was willing to accept this offer, but what was I supposed to use in the meantime. I offered the compromise that I keep the "shell of a camper" until they deliver me my trailer that we had signed a contract on. Scott C. told me he had to talk to head office and hung up. After 3 hours of waiting, and the closing time of the dealership quickly approaching, I called back. He, apparently, was going to call me just then and unfortunately, they couldn't do that deal because it would void the warranty having a previous owner. The issue with this logic was they trailer was already registered to me. I had the registration papers, I opened the trailer, and I took the plastic off the mattresses. It was already used, and they are planning on selling it to someone else as a new unit (how many other times have they done that?).
So, I told Scott that I just want my money back, and he said he would call me the next day (Tuesday). It came and went, then Wednesday, Thursday, and finally Friday, I was so frustrated, I called. Scott started off the conversation telling me he was trying to find me a solution. I expressed how I didn't want one and I just want my money back. Then he told me he was working with finance and the bank on that too. Why would he be doing both? MY GUESS IS HE WAS DOING NOTHING. I requested an email stating he was cancelling the loan, but I never received one. Remember, I have been getting charged each week since I signed the paperwork for this trailer that I never received and was no longer getting. Many more calls over the next couple weeks, I was still being charged every Friday for the loan. Finally, they tell me the loan was paid off on July 14th, they have written a check for me, which they couldn't mail but would hand deliver to me (hasn't come yet). I was charged 1 more time for the loan on the 24th so I went to the bank to see if it was actually paid off. It has been, but not when they said. I still haven't received the check for the amount I paid over the last month and a half, and honestly, I don't think they will ever deliver it

We purchased our trailer from a friend. This is our first time owning a travel trailer. There was a leak which we thought may be coming from a window because that is where the mold and pooling occurred. We also wanted an overall assessment to ensure everything was working. I booked a date to drop it off at the Cambridge location (3 weeks in advance) on a Monday to be completed by Friday. When I arrived the guy at the desk had no clue what I was talking about and it took two weeks for us to get it back. Should have turned around and walked out then. Upon completion of work they said that the window had no issues and that one corner of the roof was soft and the water was likely coming in that corner and so they re-caulked that corner on the roof and told me the membrane was intact. I asked what kind of guarantee they had for this caulking as we would be moving the camper 2hrs away, he advised 90 days. Come a month and half later, and the leak is still there, in the EXACT same spot! We took pictures and video and called them to see what they are going to do about it. Nathan in service quoted me some paperwork they had for our job that was done, stating if the leak persisted then a roof replacement was required. I said it would be better if emailed him some pictures and video. We did that and he came back saying,

" It looks like the corner molding may have had a mounting screw pop and has exposed the upper edge of the siding. With trailers as they roll down the road it is quite common to see things like this happen. In order to repair it properly, the corner molding will need to be removed and new putty applied under the molding and reinstalled. "

I emailed him back saying it's highly unlikely that was the reason for our issue as it's happening the EXACT same way as before. I asked if their company stands behind their work? I asked what they are going to do about. No response. Complete silence. There was never any, I'm sorry this is happening, or maybe we can help or I can tell you how to fix on your own, or let me speak to a manager. Nothing. I've resorted doing another email via their website to elicit some kind of response. Nothing. Keep in mind what they did for our trailer cost nearly $1000! They even broke one of our cabinet doors and replaced with a none matching screws, didn't even say anything.

My husband and I went through 401 auto. The service we got was so awful! The agent we got (James) was not on top of anything, always having to apologize to us and would not communicate. Our van was supposed to be delivered today, so my husband tried to get ahold of James this morning at 9:30 to see when it would arrive. He text us at noon saying hes sorry for not letting us know sooner, but it wont be delivered until next week. Well we already switched our insurance over and our car is about to bite the dust. We dont even want the van anymore! We are so mad!

They have web links online that direct you to look at pricing for RVs. Upon doing so they ask for personal info before being able to see any pricing, and after you put this info in it says you filled out a financial application. Very misleading, *** and desperate.
I received a call the next day saying I in fact did fill out and application. I asked for whatever info they had not to be used and to not pull any financial report as I was mislead. I then and got bounced around 7 different people. And yes I got very irate after the 4th person. (non of which knew what they were doing or would take ownership for potential fraud) I didn't give them all the correct details other than my email and phone number.
I finally got someone who could somewhat help and he verbally told me they couldn't pull a report because they didn't correct have details. I asked for this to be sent in an email to me from them that they would not pull any report, and he said I needed to call ***. Seriously...Poor service, *** looking to mislead before you actually want to buy or even enquirer

401 Auto RV Canada Travel trailer purchase

Travel trailer purchase...April 16th. Very good and fast correspondances until I signed the contract, then, only after contract is signed, informed me that due to COVID19, my delivery was not a priority and only delivery to essential service workers first, minimum 8 days or more. This is wrong, the sale should have been postpone till they could deliver in a resonance time due to current situation. They should not sell if they will not deliver. Very disappointed in their agressive sale tactics and major lack of respect and honesty.

We purchased our pop up trailer Saturday May 23rd at the Barrie location. After everything was signed i asked the sales person when we would be able to pick it up. The sales person advised to call on monday to speak to the service department. I called monday spoke to a service person who advised my trailer would be ready the next week on thursday and my appointment to pick up was 4pm. I called the wednesday of the next week to confirm that everything was still good and did not get a response, i sent the sales person an email with service related questions and he directed my email to the service department to call me, didnt hear from them. I gave it another few days and called again. Still the service department never reached out. The sales person sent another email to the service department and finally i got a *** email back that did not answer any of my question but to speak to parts about it. I ended up waiting 3 weeks for my trailer in total. I was fed up of waiting and i went in on june 11 at 4pm to pick it up. They were still working on it when i arrived at 4pm, I waited till 5:15pm before one of the service guys brought me in the back to the trailer to go over everything with me. While the guy was showing me everything i asked him where my trailer was, the guy said this is your trailer, i replied back saying no its not i bought a pop up with 2 pop out beds. The guy was showing a pop up tent with one pop out bed.The service guy went to the front right away to inform them of the screw up. The service guy also informed me that this happens all the time at this location where trailers are ordered for people and there the wrong ones. We ended up getting a trailer with one pop out bed. The manager brought me into her office and she said to get the trailer we paid for we would have to wait another 2 weeks or we can leave with this one and they would include a "starters package" which was a water hose and a ball to hook the trailer up to. She also said the trailer with the 1 pop out bed tent was the same cost as the 2 pop out bed tent which right away raised some red flags. We has plans over the weekend to go camping and wanted to get away so we took the trailer so we could go and enjoy our weekend. During our weekend when we open the camper for the first time there was a pillow that the seam had come undone, the straps to hold the door to the ceiling was broken and tabs were missing to put the blinds up. On our way back from our camping trip we called a different location to see what they would tell us the price was and there was a 1000$ difference. We went back to the Barrie location to confront them with what the salesperson at that Ingersoll location had informed us and the Barrie location kept saying that its the same price, trying to walk around the issue. Even the sales person at the Barrie location said the ingersoll sales person shouldn't have told us the price for the 1 bed pop up.

401 Auto RV Canada Truck purchase

In 2022 I bought a 2018 dodge ram from 401 auto dealer in Peterborough. These people ripped me off severely. I bought the truck unseen. There was lots of pictures and information sent through text message with the salesman named Zan. He showed me all kinds of pictures of a very similar truck, but the truck that was delivered to me was not the same truck. It was a base model and he charged me $40,000 for a bass truck that was four years old. I only put 40,000 km on it since I got it and now I can’t even trade it in every dealer I talked to tells me I was taken to the cleaners.

Desired outcome: Take this truck back on the trade and get me into a truck that’s worth $40,000

I was told that they would find me a car and negotiate the best bank rates for me. Once they found a car and financing, Ernest told me that I had to sign all the paperwork agreeing to the sale and financing sight unseen in order for them to bring the car from Quebec to Ottawa. I signed the paperwork in good faith that this brokerage was working on my behalf. they say they received the car more than 10 days ago and that it failed Ontario safety. Ernest had told me it was brake work and the parts were on back order. he assured me I would get the car last week. At the end of the week, I still did not have the car and the story changed from brake work to missing headrests. On Saturday the 4th of September I was shocked to see that *** had taken a car payment from my account. 401 had submitted the paperwork to the bank without giving me the car. I spoke to the Manager Jag and he assured me that the headrests would be in by the 7th of September. Still no car, and no communication.

401 Auto RV Canada WHEN I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE IT WAS AGREED THAT THEY WOULD REPLACE THE GRILL ON THE VEHICLE

WHEN I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE IT WAS AGREED THAT THEY WOULD REPLACE THE GRILL ON THE VEHICLE. I WAS ALSO TOLD FROM THE SALESMAN THAT THERE WAS A 2ND KEY BUT ONE OF THE MECANICS HAD IT WHEN THE GRILL FINALY CAME IN I DROPPED THE CAR OFF TO GET THE GRILL INSATALLED AND WAS TOLD IT WAS A BIG JOB AND THEY WOULD HAVE TO REMOVE THE BUMPER. WHEN I PICKED UP THE VEHICLE I WAS TOLD THAT THERE WAS NO SECOND KEY FOR THE VEHICLE AND THAT WAS THAT. THE VEHICLE NOW HAS A SENSOR THAT NEEDS TO BE RECALBRATED IN THE FRONT WHICH IS CAUSING THE CRUISE CONTROL NOT TO WORK. AFTER SPEAKING WITH THE *** DEALERSHIP, I WAS TOLD THAT WHEN YOU REMOVE THE BUMPER THIS NEEDS TO BE RECALBRATED. WHEN I MENTIONED THIS TO 401 AUTO/RV IM TOLD THAT THEY DID NOT REMOVE THE BUMPER AND THEY WILL NOT COVER THIS

I bought a trailer at the Peterborough location and it was delivered in May. Since then I've had numerous service calls. It was also delivered dirty. Flies in the light fixtures, dirty hand marks everywhere, a scratched bar fridge for my outdoor Kitchen. Awning lights never worked properly and now are completely out of sync. Bathroom door to outside can only be locked from the outside, what good is that? The storage underneath doesn't close properly. All still outstanding from last yr which it would have been under 1st ye warranty. Opened it in May this yr to find out the big slide out leaked and I now have water damage. Called in a service call before the 1 yr anniversary and was told that i would be contacted for a service call. End of June I got tired of waiting for said return call and drove to the dealer. I was told that the service department was closed till October. This past weekend as I was closing up for the weekend I noticed water coming into the bunk from by the outdoor kitchen. Called the Peterborough location Tuesday morning. Explained that I've been waiting since MAY for a service call or even a call back. I understand Covid poses some limits but does that include picking up a phone?! So I was told they would call back and try and be out to address issues before park closes the 19th. Surprise, no call back. So now I've bought an RV cover for the winter so I don't get more water damage and I'll prob have to pay a deductible for the work that would have been covered under the 1 st yr. I'm extremely angry at this point.

401 Auto RV Canada I applied for a car loan online for 401 auto on July 5th and was immediately contacted by Graham asking to set up an appt to come in

I applied for a car loan online for 401 auto on July 5th and was immediately contacted by Graham asking to set up an appt to come in. I advised him that I was not buying a car but wanted to see their inventory-he advised me (in writing) that based on my application, I had already been approved but would need to send in my drivers license and pay stubs. I did not, telling him again I was only interested in looking at their inventory. On July 20th, 15 days later, I received an email saying there was an inquiry on my bureau from 401 auto-I have not filled out anything, I haven't picked or even seen a car. I emailed Graham and Justen W. responded saying Graham was no longer with the company and if I had a problem, I could contact management stating its typical procedure to get approved prior to my appt which according to graham, I was approved based on my application so an inquiry to my bureau was not required UNTIL I picked out a car.

401 Auto RV Canada Late March/Early April I sought to purchase a car

Late March/Early April I sought to purchase a car. I came into contact with Amanda L. Sales Representative for 401Auto whom responded to my inquiries. After a painful process, 2 employees drove the car to my residence. It was dirty... was not cleaned (grease on fabric ceiling, seats dirty) and smelled like smoke. The evening, I noticed may imperfections which were not disclosed such as scratches and dents (when i looked back to the pictures, the pictures were angled not to show) I immediately emailed Amanda this and the fact my engine light was on ..to which she replied "not my department: and never heard back. I've taken my car many times to the 401 garage who transferred me to a *** dealer to investigate. I need a new part costing $548. The 401 garage has told me for the past 3 weeks 401 auto is still deliberating if they will pay for it. My engine light has been on since I took possession in late April. I want this rectified or a car thats safe 2 drive.

401 Auto RV Canada I applied for a vehicle and was approved by *** on June 28th

I applied for a vehicle and was approved by *** on June 28th. The first vehicle I was told I was getting and signed papers for couldn't pass a safety as the frame was no good. I already insured it. *** never contacted me back to relay that information. I waited two weeks and called the company. I got no explanation and was told it would be looked into. Another rep, *** contacted me and we started the process again. I signed papers for another vehicle that was sold without my knowledge and once again I wasn't contacted. When I contacted the company I was frustrated and upset and spoke with *** who told me she would have someone else contact me. Now I'm speaking with *** and I'm offered 2 more vehicles. I sign papers for a third vehicle and insured it and am asking when I will get it as I need it for work and this is affecting me financially. It needs work done. I wait 6 more days and contact again expressing my frustration and they canceled my entire application.

401 Auto RV Canada Met with Amed and he sold us a car but we were told could not see prior to purchase

Met with Amed and he sold us a car but we were told could not see prior to purchase. He guaranteed it was in good condition and would be saftyed and serviced prior to delivery. Car arrived brakes and rotors were rusted and grounded and made terrible noise I notified service department and was told someone would get back to me. After having car for a week it wouldn't start due to faulty wiring and battery issue contacted service and they came and said it was repaired and that battery was replaced Breaks still not fixed. Called them again and was told there was no issue with breaks but had delivery driver confirm the sounds they were making. They finally agreed to service breaks but did not replace anything just lubrications and painted over rusted parts. 3 weeks later car won't start again once again battery and wiring issues. Now being told I will have to go get fixed by my garage and I will be responsible for costs. We have had the car six weeks and it's cost us 200 bucks in *** rides while in getting fixed and now we have to pay for repair that was supposedly done four weeks ago. We already over paid for said car to now be responsible for repairs is nonsense.

401 Auto RV Canada I purchased my brand new RV trailer March , prior to the COVID OUTBREAK

I purchased my brand new RV trailer March , prior to the COVID OUTBREAK. May I called to have it delivered to *** camp ground as it was allowed. On my phone call I was promised it would be delivered in top notch condition and that I was going to be giving a run down of the devices and how to hook up the trailer to the parks amentiies. It was delivered to the site May 21. The staff member that delivered the trailer handed me the keys and took off, stated everything is in the manual. I was quiet disappointed. I took a theral inspection and was disgusted with the condition of the brand new trailer. Walls broken, doors not aligned, no screen door, doors not closing properly, wires under the trailer broken. I immediately called camp mart requesting to speak to the manager, I have to this day not heard from him. I was instructed to email the technican, I yet have not heard from him. I am beyond disappointed in the services. Brand new trailer but yet looks like it has been used. ***. I solemly regret this purchase and am asking for assistance to resolve this matter.

401 Auto RV Canada We bought a trailer from this business brand new in 2018 and have had major issues with the trailer that are not being resolved

We bought a trailer from this business brand new in 2018 and have had major issues with the trailer that are not being resolved. The person that was supposed to be helping us have the trailer fixed will not answer and now we are with a trailer we owe many years on that has issues with the floor and appliances. We paid for an extended warranty on top of the manufacturer warranty and are in a situation that we cant get any proper work done to the trailer from a warranty we paid for. Documentation off issues and lack of resolution is available. The trailer was taken over the fall, winter and spring of 2019/2020 and the floor was supposed to be fixed, rips were to be repaired, awning issues fixed and etc (although *** was notified immediately upon reciept in 2018) and in February we were notified that the sagging floor was normal and it wouldnt be repaired. After research I called and told them it wasnt normal and needed to be repaired and it was moved to another location. We received it back and the floor issue is still present, the new laminate is rolling up, there are places without laminate in the bathroom, our ac doesnt work as the compressor doesnt come on (they sent someone who said it was fine without even checking the unit outside). We havent been able to enjoy this trailer since we bought it.

401 Auto RV Canada I purchased a 2019 *** from the 401 location in Ottawa Ontario

I purchased a 2019 *** from the 401 location in Ottawa Ontario. At first, the experience was going great but after sitting there for 5+ hours and seeing multiple paperwork, I was anxious to leave. I was sold a product called GAP. The way it was sold to me was that since I was trading a vehicle in the balance of the loan would go into the outlander. Therefore if there was ever an issue, then the loan would be paid off completely because the insurance company would only pay for what the vehicle was worth. Not the loan. So I agreed to that. So 3 months later. The car is a total loss. Of course insurance pays what it's worth and I start with the gap coverage. They say they are only covering about a quarter of what's left owing. Saying that I didn't buy a product to cover the total loan. So for this I am complaining. I was misrepresented a product. I had trusted the sales manager knew what he was speaking about; they are suppose to be the experts. Why am I stuck to pay the balance on this loan? Separately from that he sold me an extended warranty for $3250. I've found out that 401 owns the extended warranty that I purchased however I'm trying to understand why they would sell me something when the vehicle I bought had 8 years of warranty left from the manufacture. 401 Auto, why are your staff taking advantage of buyers? We trust that the sales managers are knowledgeable and would help us make an informed decision. I contacted OMVIC, I've wrote a letter to the president of the company in which I have not received a response.

401 Auto RV Canada I recently visit 401 Auto in Ottawa last Thursday November 26th

I recently visit 401 Auto in Ottawa last Thursday November 26th. The salesman I delt with was great. I got approved for a vehicle before I even arrived and it took a 30 point hit on my credit. But I was very upset upon arrival. I could not only see the product first hand I could only look at online and almost nothing was on the lot. I Couldn't even test drive anything. COMPLETE TURN OFF.. IF I AM GOING TO SPEND ALOT OF MONEY ON SOMETHING I WANT TO SEE IT. It left a sour taste in my mouth. ***.. I put a $100 dollar deposit on a vehicle. Originally he wanted $250. I said no. I gave $100. Then Sitting there thinking about it. I said no to myself.. Then asked for my money back. Kicker.. Sam told me it comes by check. He didn't tell me that before I gave him the deposit. ***.. I gave it to you in 3 seconds. Give it back.. I went back Saturday morning to pick up my refund and my salesman told me to swing by. Get there to find NO REFUND and it comes from Cambridge. *** Then I told Sam I was going to report him to the ComplaintsBoard.com and he told me he doesn't deal with the ComplaintsBoard.com. Then Sam the facility Manager turned his back on me and walked away. ***.. Any future business from me will never happen again. So simple and I just want my refund back. Probly an easy thing to do. He could have credited me through my debit the same way I paid. But he didn't... Bad customer service.. Now I gotta go elsewhere after taking hit on my credit.. Also I didn't sign anything saying they could check my credit and they did. Very dissatisfied and now want to be compensated for my extra trouble. I want my $100 back and some kind of compensation over and above my $100. Not happy about this and don't have too much good to say about the way business is conducted in your Ottawa facility.

401 Auto RV Canada I had purchased a brand new 2020 *** trailer the end of Sept 2019

I had purchased a brand new 2020 *** trailer the end of Sept 2019.it was delivered closing weekend, already winterized and good to close. We opened up once the go ahead due to covid on May 16. Upon opening weekend, we turned on our thermostat as it was still chilly onto get a E1 reading on the screen. We tried again and reset as recommended only to get same message. Checked our propane tanks, to realize we were delivered empty ones so exchanged to see if that was the problem. It wasn't. I contacted campmart on Tuesday may 19th to he told it would be checked into and Nathan pierce the service manager would get right back to me. I then called again later that afternoon to get told the tech was on lunch. Called again at end of day to be told to call back. I sent a e mail to David W. who sold us the trailer stating my concerns as we froze the previous weekend, and he forwarded it to Nathan pierce. I was in contact the following day and received a email stating they were making a exception to send a service man out. He came on Friday May 22 with no control panel to fix thermostat, no full propane tanks to swap out with empty ones. I then contacted Nathan by e mail the same day to receive nothing back. I called again on May 25th to be told they had to reach out to their upper as they had no control panels in stock and he would get back to me. I heard nothing back once again. I then called back on Wednesday May 27th to be told that he would reach out again and get back to me. I never heard nothing so I contacted them again and asked to speak to a customer care manager as I felt Nathan was doing nothing to help. I was told he was in a meeting and would call back. By Friday may 29th I still hadn't received a call so I called again at lunch. The receptionist said he was in a interview and to sit tight by my phone as she would put a message through again. I waited all weekend.. It is now June 1st and I have gotten no help, no call backs and no service from this company. I have call logs, e mails, that have not been replied to at all. I have no heat, and no answer on when this will be fixed. There was also a heat duct we found not attached to under trailer while turning on hot water tank. This still hasn't been fixed either. I am now sitting here 2 weeks later, with nowhere to turn as I am getting no help from this company, whether it be their service guy or their customer care manager.

401 Auto RV Canada Issue with the transmission

Issue with the transmission. Error code P 2638 - Torque Management feedback Signal A Range. Performance. My name is *** and I am currently 23 years old. I bought a vehicle from 401 auto, an *** SH-AWD 2017 to be more precise. There have been issues with the vehicle since I bought it. To start with, I have been *** multiple times from one of the employees. He was urging me and pressuring me that the vehicle is in tip top shape and that if he were me, he would purchase the vehicle without hesitation. I had asked whether the vehicle has any current or prior issues, and I was reassured that the vehicle had no problems whatsoever. He had told me that the vehicle was looked at by their technician and I shouldn't have any problems. The vehicle was showing defects that I noticed within the first few days after my purchase with the transmission. On top of that, they didn't even perform a simple rounded check of the vehicle- even the air filter was filthy with wooden chips in it. I took my car to ***, and they said my vehicle's system was out of date and that they need to update it. They also told me the transmission fluid was dirty and that it needs a change. Before purchasing the vehicle, the dealership-401 auto- told me that they had taken my vehicle to get updated and after going to the *** dealership, I found out that it hasn't been. ***. After visiting ***, the technician told me that the vehicle should run better after the update. I drove the car for some time, thinking that it would be better, but it still showed the issue. The vehicle was shifting gears poorly and showed no signs of improvement. I took the vehicle to a mechanic, and he ran a diagnostic. Within the first minute, there was an error code that showed up within the transmission. The error code was for the torque converter. I then called 401 auto, explaining that they had sold a vehicle with problems to it and I asked them to either repair it or take it back. Their response was for me to deal with it myself and that it is not their obligation to do anything about this vehicle. The vehicle on paper was supposed to be delivered by Jan. 5, though it wasn't given to me until Jan. 11. I also have the correspondence between me and 401 auto concerning these issues, and I can provide them if necessary. 401 auto also guaranteed me the work of their mechanic, but shortly after getting the transmission fluid changed at their location, the safety plate protecting the transmission detached itself from one side mid-highway (I have a video to confirm it). I had to stop and detach it completely myself, so that it does not keep dragging along the asphalt. I also found *** within the documents. My vehicle was delivered to me on January 11th. In the documents of the purchase of the vehicle, the company had written January 5th, which is six days prior to the day I received my vehicle. I have text messages with one of the employees that prove when the vehicle was delivered to me. I have tried reasoning with them multiple times over the phone and email, offering them to fix my vehicle or take it back but the only response I would get back is a dismissal of my complaint, alongside with *** behavior from the Peterborough branch. If there is any additional information you would require, please do not hesitate to contact me.
